Such a cute little gem, from the store front to the haircut stations! Sarah is an angel for helping tame our almost 3-year-olds locks. He was NOT happy to have his haircut, but Sarah did such a great job getting in quick and being patient with him. Wish I could get my hair cut here!

I have been coming here for a few years for haircuts. Our last experience wasnt great, (uneven haircut) but I gave some grace...as everyone can have a bad day. After yesterday, I will not be returning. My youngests bangs have been hacked....and look like she cut them herself. My other daughters cut was so uneven that one side was 1.5 inches longer than the other and. The back was horribly uneven.

This place is very kid friendly. The staff and stylists are amazing! It has a very nice vibe as well.

We went here for our sons first haircut. Samantha was the stylest and she was absolutely amazing! He was pretty scared but honestly did better then expected. Samantha was so understanding and did so well with him. She helped us all feel at ease. She even managed to cut his hair while he was hugging me and crying. He got to sit in a little car chair that I think really helped distract him from the haircut. The salon was nice and very clean the woman at the front was friendly and welcoming. They keep track of the haircut done for future reference. And he got a sucker at the end! He was happy after that. 10/10 reccomend Bella and Max for anyone with a small child especially if its a first haircut. We looked around and read a lot of reviews trying to decide where to go and Bella and Max had great reviews that they 100% lived up to. We will definitely be repeat customers.

Our first trip was yesterday for my sons very first haircut and we had aliecia help us.She was great & super at ease which helping my mom nerves be calmed and she distracted/ entertained him when needed easily.It was over and d9ne perfectly quit quick .Me and my husband agreed we loved this place and definitly will keep bringing him back.Highly recommend!!

Our first visit here was a post-covid-reopening haircut for my 5 year old son with Kelsey. I cant say enough good things about Kelsey. My son has long hair and Im particular (AKA annoying) about how people cut it. Kelsey was so thorough and took her time to ensure we were on the same page. She was lovely. We will definitely be back!

The place is looks fun to get haircut for little kids, but I had a bad experience with my 6 year old haircut. We talked about haircut I had in mind, I showed pictures, the hairstylist gave her suggestions and started the process. 1.5 hours later, with hair an inch shorter then it was originally agreed it was still uneven, un-blended and sides were disconnected. I was told that the haircut if fine, its just my daughters hair is sticking out and that I should not have chosen such haircut at the first place. I understand that my daughter has a lot of hair, but doing the haircut on completely dry hair didnt help. I left disappointed and will go to other place to fix this bad job. Waste of money for me.

Bella and Max was an excellent place for my 2-year-olds first haircut. They were extremely patient and friendly and understanding, and were willing to not use water, since she hates water on her head. She got to sit in a train, which she loved, and there were bubbles and toys galore. We had a great experience.

Kelsey is the best at boys cuts. My son has been going here for years, and he is always happy with his hair. They always have Netflix on, and toys to fiddle with.

Weve been here at least 5 times. The first time was great. The woman who cut my kids hair did an amazing job. Unfortunately, she seemed to have quit after that because we never saw her again. Each time after we were a little disappointed, but today was the worst! The woman who cut my sons hair was rushed and gave him a terrible haircut. She moved him around a lot (in and out of the chair a bunch), and made lots of demands of him. My son did his best to comply and was perfectly calm, but he seemed a little traumatized after. He was excited to have his haircut which makes this extra disappointing. Its like shed never met a child before. Definitely not what you expect for a $28 kids haircut. We wont be going back.

A great place for kids haircuts. They have the fun cars and vehicles for kids to sit in while getting their hair done. There is usually a show or movie playing to keep the kids entertained and happy. They keep a card on file with what your preferences are for your kids hair cuts, which helps if you have a different stylist every time. The staff is very friendly. Adults can also go here too. It is a little more expensive.

I took my 2 year old twin grandsons to Max & Bella for their first hair cut today and Juliette and Lauren were great! These two squirmy and active boys were no match for these ladies patience. Both boys tried every chair in the place and took turns sitting on their dads lap in order to get their hair trimmed. Juliette even calmly followed them around and trimmed away while they were checking out the toys. She really knows how to work with crazy curls also. Thank you for making this a great first experience! Well be back.

Our one and only go to place for both our kids, the stylists are thoughtful, engaging, and the kids have a wonderful time.

I used to really love it here! I loved how friendly and helpful the staff were toward me and my children. The last 2 times have been disappointing. They have been rude and completely disinterested. When Tyra is there, service is impeccable. However when she hasnt been, the front desk staff has been bored, disengaged and unfriendly.The cutting service is OK. Again in the past, the stylists have been focused and energetic and customer oriented. Today the stylist came into the waiting area at our scheduled time and then walked into the back. She then didnt come back into the waiting area until 15 minutes after our appointed time. I also made it clear that we were on a schedule which the front desk did not pass on to the stylist.I doubt I will come back. It makes me sad because I used to really love this salon. I would not be able to recommend Bella and Max without reservations.

This shop is children services only. Wonderful skilled staff and fun chairs like planes and cars to sit in while getting haircuts. A little pricey but they are worth it!

I came here for the first time today. I picked this spot because it’s hard for me to find a place I can take my toddler with me. He had a great time there, they had lots of toys and a movie playing. Samantha cut my hair and she was really friendly. I had almost a foot of hair taken off, so for about an hour I didn’t like the cut because it was so different. However, now that I’m home and I’m a little more used to it, I love it. Samantha did a great job and I’ll be back.

I love this place. I take the two kids I nanny for and for myself and they are fantastic. Wonderful service, VERY patient and kind with the kiddos and lots of fun hair products for sale.

LOVE THIS PLACE!! They are hands down the best place for a kids hair cut. My son has curly hair & weve had a few bad experiences at other places. But not here, we leave happy & with a great cut! These ladies know how to properly cut curly hair! Bonus points for the TV and toys for the kids. We will never go anywhere else!

A good salon for young kids, they have fun chairs (race cars, trains, planes), toys to play with and movies playing in one section of the salon. I am happy with the kiddos haircut each time we go.

Had a horrible experience recently with my daughter’s haircut. Bangs were high and uneven and her hair is uneven all around. I called to share my concern and there was no care for customer satisfaction. Instead the owner said they would review video, put their employee on who was very unprofessional and was told by the owner I would get a call back in a couple of days and that was 2 weeks ago. Won’t be back nor would recommend a salon that operates in this manner.

I paid over $300 then sat in the chair for 4 and 1/2 hours and then at the end she rushed to complete my last part of my hair which was the most important part that sits on top of my head. I paid for a full equal colors of blonde and brunette, and my hair is completely dark with a couple pieces of blond...... I also asked for a natural highlighting and I have chunks of blond in the back of my head and nowhere else. Then I also have a chunk of black for the part of my bangs. I then also informed her that my hair is very dry and she then recommended Lola the shampoo and conditioner which is absolutely the worst product I have ever had and my hair is a rats nest........ I highly do not ever recommend this place for womens hair. The only reason I gave it a two-star is because they do have a great kid section for haircuts but is overpriced.

Got the little ones first haircut here. Awesome place, lots of distractions for the kid so he stays calm. Haircut turned out great for what had to be one of the most challenging haircuts.

Our little one loves getting his hair cut here. Prices are good for kids cuts, if not a tad high. But, Im sure some clients make it challenging enough to need to charge more.

We went for a hair cut there for my 15 month old daughter. Juliet did her hair cut. It was uneven and she did a bad job. It seemed like she is handling a toddler of that age for the first time. My child was crying as she havent had much hair cuts and this lady was not at all trying to console her or she didnt offer any toys as well. When we asked to shorten hair more she said it is dangerous to do as my child is crying and not cooperating. We didnt feel good with her attitude. We paid 25 dollars for that hair cut which is not at all worth paying. We wont go there anymore.

Very friendly staff. My 6 year old loves getting his haircut at this place. In fact this is the only place he is ok with going to for his haircut. They are a bit pricey though; each haircut will set you back by $30.

My daughter loves sitting in the Thomas the Tank Engine chair while getting her haircut. Our stylist did an excellent job on my sons first haircut, and hes a squirmy 5 month old baby.

Took my son there for hair cut. The stylist was very rude. Given the premium charged by Bella and Max, I expect a better job than chain stores like Great Clips. To my surprise, it was actually worse!. Very disappointed. Would never go again.

Juliet did a horrible job cutting my sons hair. She spent all of maybe 15 minutes on it and it just looked bad. She kept asking if it was OK and I said I guess so because I didnt want it to get worse. She just hacked away at it it was very uneven. I should have known it would be a bad experience because I told her his hair is tangled because he doesnt really like me to brush it and she basically was trying to get me to cut it short because he wouldnt let me brush it ( almost shaming me for letting him keep his hair long). His hair is not super long hes just a boy and doesnt have time for hair brushing most days. Also she had a very bad attitude. I would recommend if you have your hair cut here dont let Juliet do it.Reply to your reply:You should look up Steve Creasey. And you Juliet did shame me for my son not letting me brush his hair as much as I should and told me that I should cut it short if he wouldnt let me do it. Dont try and say you didnt there were plenty of other parents and your Co workers around to hear it.

This place is seriously great! We saw Alecia for our sons first haircut and she did an amazing job, while also being very sweet and understanding (lil dude would NOT sit still). Theyve got tons of things to keep the kiddos distracted (although we fell back on the ol YouTube videos on the cellphone standby) and it was quick, which is great when dealing with a fidgeting toddler. Well be back next time he needs a cut!Edit: Id just like to add that we came in today for my sons first cut since January (ack) and Sarah did an amazing job even though kiddo was in full-on meltdown mode. Lil dude does NOT like haircuts but they always do a great job.

Unfortunately after going here for two years the owner decided to cancel an appointment because we had to cancel a couple of appointments due to an emergency. (Im sorry someone died). She wants a deposit for an appointment now.

Seems like a fun place for kids except DO NOT let the owner Juliet cut you childs hair. She gave my son a really bad haircut and then tried to tell me that its all fine. The neck line was very visibly crooked.The other stylist luckily fixed everything in 5min and was completely reasonable.Update: I read your response below and its unfortunate that you felt hurt. There was no intent to hurt your feelings. With that said, the hair cut was crooked and uneven all over. You may have had a bad day or maybe my sons hair is difficult to cut - not really sure what the problem was. In any case, when i showed you the problem, you just said it was fine. I am glad it was fixed ultumately but my experience was negative only because you didnt want to acknowledge the mistake. Wish you luck with your business.
