I wish I could give this towing company 0 stars. It is the poorest towing company in the whole world! Their staff is rude and unprofessional. On top of that, they charge very high rates. I would recommend not using this towing company at all. Im even surprised they have a star eating of 2.2. They deserve NO STARS at all!

Absolutely disgraceful company. We parked outside of a Trader Joes with no No Parking signs where we parked (as seen in the picture) yet they decided to erroneously tow us anyway. There were also other cars parked alongside the street, it was packed.Trader Joes employee who was outside at the time helped us figure out who to call, and agreed that there should be a No Parking sign there to prevent this from happening again. Apparently its not uncommon.While calling them to figure out where the building was (we were nearby and couldnt find it) they hung up on us after putting us on hold. Calling back the person who answered was incredibly rude, but did at least tell us where it was across from and immediately hung up.0/10 would not recommend getting towed by these absolute leeches of society.

Address is incorrect on lot signs, they don’t answer when you call back because they know you cant find it. Incompetent being at window took my license for minutes while scrolling social media

I have nothing good to say about this tow company. I work for the city currently our parking lot has limited parking. Boston Public Health Commission has parking spaces for their employees. Every day I leave the shelter out to move my car sometimes I walk to 1010 Mass avenue today didn’t use that parking lot. I placed my plaque on the dashboard on the passenger side of the car. Funny thing when I called them I was told that I was parked illegally and there were no BPHC signs . The city called the tow company and they still refused to release my car, was wearing my ID still refused once I paid and got in my car the plaque was on the floor in front of the passenger seat that clearly reads Boston Public Health Commission name and office phone number. I have 2 plaques I want a refund don’t know who called them but this is not correct. It’s not always convenient to park at 1010 Mass avenue and walk back to the shelter. $143 I will not say they moved my plaque, but everyone knows I am careful to display my plaque I have 2 of them. To the owner you need to rethink how you conduct yourself. I want a refund of my money and my time. I wouldnt give them a half of a star.

They hooked up my car in a private parking garage where I was told to park by a tenant, was walking back to vehicle while they were hooking it up, said had to pay $120.00 cash only and they could put it down, I called the tow yard to see if I could pay by credit card and got into an argument with some low IQ moron who basically threatened me over the phone. I wouldnt hire these morons to tow my bicycle, the state should shut them down and the IRS should audit them, cash only.

I stopped at a McDonalds off the highway in Boston to get coffee and use the bathroom on January 22, 2021.This tow company didnt want to see my coffee or receipt as proof I was a paying customer. Apparently they went inside and asked if the car belonged to anyone. Somehow they missed me coming or going.They towed my car with one of those quick-tow things that slip right under and up in a matter of seconds and by the time I saw this and ran up to the truck, theyd towed it 20 whole feet.They charged me $130 to drop my car! Ive contacted corporate McDonalds and they had the local franchise respond to me with basically a corporate F U in a nice way reply.Im reading through this companys responses to people and they are rude and ignorant. Whoever is responding to people from the company doesnt know how to spell and seems to have a 1st graders grasp on English. Its no wonder the only way they can make money is to steal it from people.Edit: Also, I suspect that some of the positive reviews are from people they know like employees, family, etc.

Horrible service. Wasn’t informed that it was cash only until arrival. Than walked a mile to an ATM and back. Bad enough to get towed even worse service

I parked in a huge Fields Corner parking lot in the corner..Plenty of parking no need to bother ANYONE I had to take the train out of boston to take my kid to his dr appointment. ONLY gone for 3 hours and had to pay 140 to get my car that money was to feed my children..thanks a lot I hope god punished you for this

Got towed unknowingly, it was my fault. Gotta say the woman at the yard was very nice and friendly, it was unexpected. Im sure she has a tough job

I was visiting from out of town in a rental with out of state plates. I ran into a store for no more than 10 minutes. There were two cars parked in a 75 lot parking lot behind a small shopping center. When I went to get my car, they had it on the two. I had them stop. They charged me $108.00 cash! They would not take credit cards. All of my valuables were in the car. There were no signs regarding towing vehicles. The driver said I needed a permit and I asked him where do I get one. He said $108.00 cash. This is a scam and a shakedown. This company has to be investigated. CASH. All CASH! I posted one star because there was no option for negative stars.

The worst tow truck company.. we parked to deliver things to residents in the area. Keys and car still on and they towed us.. no tow signs.. less than 5mins.. pathetic people.. you guys need to give people a break like how you would like the cops to give you a break when you run the red lights... I really hope and pray that you guys get the worst karma in your life and that you trip and fall and never recover

My sons car died on the highway coming from Boston. I googled tow trucks in the area and came across East coast Tow. The dispatcher was attentive and informative and the wait for the tow truck was not long at all. I highly recommend using this tow truck company. I had a great experience under unfortunate circumstances. I am very grateful for a smooth and swift outcome.

Terrible service

I was recently towed for the first time for being parked in a private lot. My expectations werent that great especially after reading the reviews. When i got there i was surprised as it wasnt as bad as the reviews indicated.. The dispatcher Amy was very nice and helpful she explained to me the reason for being towed.. Now i know for the next time. thank you

A male employee driving one of the towing trucks in Adams Village in Dorchester was unaware of his surroundings when he incedently shifted the truck in reverse and backed up into me in a parking lot. When the employee got out of his truck, he did not apologize. He then quickly got back into his truck once he realized there was only minor damage done to my car and his truck and proceeded to purposefully block me into a spot so I could not leave although I had no intention of leaving the scene especially in the case that I was not at fault. As an employee and representative of this company, it was disappointing to witness the lack of personal responsibility and unwillingness to offer a simple apology. I would not want someone like that working for my company who shows poor moral character and social skills.

My mom parked at the mall right in front of the little public library and two hours later her car got towed. Since when is there a limit to how long a person can shop at a mall? There’s a Payless there. A laundromat there. A liquor store there. A mad rag there. A grocery store there. A dollar tree there. A McDonald’s there. An H&R Block there. Exactly how long is the limit for someone shopping at the mall? These towing companies are truly getting out of hand.

I have a business and we were doing a delivery with two vehicles. There is no where to park in the Seaport area. So while the guys were making the delivery inside the restaurant, I watched the vehicles.Out of no where a tow truck backed up, got out and hooked the first van. I was very nice, gave him my name, business information and he was very rude.I told him that the van is running with the keys on the ignition and I could move it asap. He said give me $55 and I will drop it. I said okay, let me get my pocket book which was in the second vehicle.He saw one of the delivery drivers walk across the street toward the vehicle and must have felt intimidated by his size and speed off. Anyway I paid almost $160. This guy was so ignorant and unprofessional. That is a turn off!! Go to school for business administration and learn how to carry yourself in a professional setting. People would respect you more!! 0 Stars!!!

Eastcoast Towing removed an unauthorized car out of my lot promptly, allowing me to make it to work on time! Later i found out that it was a stolen vehicle! Little bit of advice to others, Just because a lot is empty, doesnt give you the right to park on someones PRIVATE PROPERTY. They do their job promptly and efficiently. Dont park where you should be parking!

Completely unprofessional and rude driver and the boss who is supposed to be in charge, Lewis is lethargic and unorganized individual who is barely present for any of the affairs of his own enterprise but that do you expect from a business that has little to no security on site. They cant even afford or just dont care to post someone to keep constant vigilance at night.

A driver from this company almost caused me to get into an accident. I don’t know if he’s drunk or what. I didn’t get the license plate number. Otherwise this review would instead be me calling the police! He should not be operating a vehicle.

I had a driver get a flat in downtown Boston and they were the only tow company out of the 20 I called that would go out the spare on for him. I will use them in the future, quick and efficient, very happy owner here!!!

Passenger on Rt. 95 right now and currently watching this truck driver from this company almost cause multiple car accidents. Cutting people off, tailgating within inches of other cars. He / she just threw on the emergency lights on the truck to weave in and out of traffic then shut them off. This person is either drunk or blatantly reckless with little regard for safety.

This towing company is a private and predatory business. Be weary of employing them to maintain your lots. They tow cars in less time than the lot allows. After requesting to receive evidence of their timing, it was not provided. I was told it would be emailed but have not received it. They were intimidating and confrontational. To the businesses or the customers seeking their services, I would not recommend it. I am extremely disappointed by this experience and will not return to the businesses who employ them.

This company treated me respectful.I was towed from parking where i shouldnt had park but it was my own fault..The dispatcher was so nice, and overall the experience wasnt bad..

Driver was completely unprofessional, Im not even sure if he gave me his real name (said Jeff when the ID on his shirt said Ramon), demanded $55 cash to release my car when I had parked where I was specifically instructed to park by a Resident of the building. Wouldnt give a receipt so as far as I know it was a complete scam and he pocketed the money. Felt bullied and that I had no choice but to pay him because he was about to drive away with my car.

Working with Superior Realty running an unethical and predatory towing scheme. They will claim their signs were vandalized and will not listen to reason. Towing company openly employs intimidation and threats but theyre just doing their job...

A completely unethical company! I watch them tow cars out of an EMPTY parking lot. The owners of the cars are people from the community that are only trying to patronize local businesses.

Predatory and unethical. Signs say 1 Hour Parking 7:00AM to 8:00PM - No Overnight Parking and they will tow you at 8:45PM. They also damaged my vehicle by entering it either because of laziness or ineptitude. Anyone who contracts with this company should be ashamed of themselves as they are victimizing the public.

They patrol like cops, the signs are vague purposefully. 1 hour parking 7am-8pm while conducting business at such and such addresses. No overnight parking. Car was towed at 8:10pm You Define “overnight” 🤷🏼‍♂️

East coast towing is the worst towing company in Boston history they are rude unprofessional no integrity or ethics of doing business it’s a run down business the employees are sad to be there DONT USE THEM they are a living scam oh it’s cash only.

Since no one wants to have their car towed and your want to blame the tow driver for your mistake, I was polite and in turn they all were polite right back. No problem and I was able to get me car in no time. 4 stars just because it was towed.
