There is a trainer here named JJ. He goes by Johnny Speed. He does personal training. I use to pay him for personal training and it was great until I purchased a “package” of multiple training sessions with him(before this I would pay for each session at a time) and he took my money and ran. I was never able to complete my sessions bc he left the state and he began ignoring my requests to give me my money back. I gave him MANY chances as he constantly used excuses saying he didn’t have the money yet but would get it to me as soon as he did. Im a nice person and gave him time to get his affairs in order but every few months I would reach and receive more excuses from him. I have YET to receive my $120 back. This trainer is not to be trusted. I advise against ever giving him your hard earned money as he is a thief.
Just started this. They have a number of membership options. Classes can be booked from the Title Boxing app. The instructors are great. You gotta be there on time though. Even if you are a minute late, you wont be allowed for the class.
Great workout. Really hard and great instructors who push you even when you try to hide. Hope they return to normal hours after covid.
JJ is a great teacher! Whenever I attend a boxing session, I think my physical health as well as the boxing skill improve.
They treat you as a wallet. There is no teaching, training, and respect for the person who is paying for a service
I use boxing as a method for cross training for two different things: distance running and professional drumming. Ive been a runner for close to a decade, and I often get bored with cross training. The interactive classes provide fun work outs that arent just doing some guided course at the gym that Ill take twice and never return to. As for drumming, Ive been a professional drummer for close to 15 years now, and been playing for just about 25. Boxing is massively beneficial for my speed and endurance, as well as keeping other muscle groups active that I would not otherwise engage.
Amazing. The trainers push you to be your best in the nicest ways possible. I always leave feeling like I’ve completed a good workout. Blessed to have a gym like this to balance out my crazy life!!
The so called COO named Cam is extremely unprofessional, lacks business etiquette, and should not be a part of the Title Family. Ive had a nationwide access membership for about 5 years now, and never had any location turn me down. I arrive 15 min prior to class since its my first time trying this location. I scan in and sit on the bench. Cam, who was doing mit work in the ring, quickly stops and tells the lady at the front desk to check my membership. She comes over and tells me I cannot use this location. I said I was under the impression that my nationwide pass is good everywhere, and Cam shouts from the ring not here or Manahattan. I was like well I didnt know and I already paid for parking, so can I just take the class this one time. The lady said drop in class is $35. So a 5 year member with nationwide access cannot use your location once, but non-members can get their 1st class free? This incident clearly exemplifies the unprofessionalism of this so called COO named Cam. Basic customer service etiquette is to say unfortunately this location is not part of the nationwide pass, but since youre already here and paid for parking you can use our location this one time. I will highly recommend for corporate to pay a visit to this location and teach this Cam character basic business etiquette and customer service! Ill always be a Title advocate, but will never recommend this location to anyone based on this incident.
Its such a good change of pace from the typical running/lifting/body weight workouts I was used to and truly provides an intense, full-body workout that keeps me coming back for more. While its a little intimidating at first, the other people and trainers are friendly and knowledgeable while providing enough active encouragement to push yourself.
Loved the first class. The instructor was great and gave me feedback on form as well as pushed me. The staff is friendly and warm. Ill definitely be back!
Great workout, even if you’ve never boxed before. They walk you through everything you need to know, and push you to really get a good workout
I enjoy every class I attend! It can be tough at times but the instructors motivate me to keep working hard. I get stronger every week!
A fun group boxing experience for fitness. Fast-pace work out that keeps you going for the whole hour. Great instructors will push you and coach you throughout.
This title boxings front desk has really bad attitude, and its policy doesnt make sense at all. First of all I was trying to call them because I want to try a class, and the person who pick up phone was totally acting like she doesnt want me to join them. Then I was using ClassPass to take a class with them and I was 2mins late, and they wouldnt allow me to take the class. They just started doing warm up and I was totally able to join the class.I was a membership in the Norwoods title boxing and this never happened before. More importantly, its ok if I dont take the class but the staff at front desk was so mean and had a really shity attitude. Wouldnt go back again.
I loved the energy of the workout and the instructor was great. He was motivating and helpful in demonstrating proper form. I never felt intimidate by the workout at all.
Such an awesome and intense workout! The mix of boxing circuits along with some HIIT circuits (jumping jacks, burpees, squats, mountain climbers, etc...) moves your body in every single way. The energy is amazing and the instructors keep pushing you to do more. Will def. be back!
Very intense and varied, though I was able to go at my own pace when I needed to. Taught technique beforehand so I could get right into it, which I really appreciated.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE - we went there as classpass costumers and they asked for $40 dollars in order to buy a pair of gloves. Because we tried a class with them more than a year ago they wouldnt lend us the necessary equipment. I think this fee is INCREDIBLY high; it is half the subscription with classpass, so I dont understand what the deal is. PLUSSSS they marked us as if we missed the class and then got charged $20 by classpass due to their missed class cancelation fee.
First time boxing. Good workout. Front desk staff rude. If your new, be sure to register online before getting there otherwise they catch an attitude with you. Really tarnished my experience.
Title is the best! The trainers are talented and motivating, the playlists never fail to pump me up and the workouts are unbelievable
Caution before joining ... They wont let a member participate in class even if running a couple minutes late even when there are open bags. I have an unpredictable work schedule and look forward to coming here to destress after work..... travel 45 minutes on the subway just to take these classes... very infuriating to be told no, and that Im not allowed to jump in the class when I am a paying member and am just 5 minutes late, especially after a long and challenging day at work. Ive been to several other Title Boxing Clubs all over the US, and this is the only club that has a late policy like this. Ive been coming to this location since it opened and they just now started enforcing this new ridiculous late policy last week. I understand if Im late and there are no open bags, but it makes no sense if there are plenty of spots left.
It was so intense and the instructor was really encouraging and helpful throughout the entire class!
Great place for a fun, challenging workout! All the instructors are great!
Not all, but most of staff is mean, they wont really care about your experience .. unless youre a hot girl, then theyre real gregarious
Best boxing gym around!! The trainers are kind and professional and the workout is challenging but you will get results :)
I had a bad experience there, I took a private trainer he’s name was Jeff, and he always busy.
Great work out! Will be back!!!!
Life changing.
