We fished with Steve 2 times in March 2021. Both days were a hit. Steve works hard to put you on fish and works inshore and back country. Day one inshore, we hit Triple Tail, Spanish Mackerel and had a blast with large Jacks. In the back country we caught several Snook, snappers, Jacks, etc. We came home both days tired and happy. Great guide and great equipment lots of fish. Ill post a few pictures below.

I had a great time fishing with Captain Steve! The fishing charter that my family and I took was a great experience! Lots of fish caught and a couple great sized Tarpon to boot! It was a great trip with family and Steve gave us a fantastic family-man vibe that left us feeling accomplished by the end of the trip! Capt Steve is the man. I have fished with him for YEARS, and have never been disappointed. he even baits and rigs the rods, and also releases the fish. Total professional.

We have been out with Captain Steve multiple times - he is our go-to fishing guy! We followed Steve down to Marathon Key from Estero last May to go tarpon fishing - thats how much we enjoy him You can see his passion for the sport, and he is a wonderful teacher to new fishermen.This season, we went triple-tail fishing where we caught two large keepers. He cleaned the fish, making sure there were no bones or scales left on the fillets. He also recommended ways to prepare the fish - triple tail ceviche is phenomenal!! Captain Steve always knows where to go, what bait to use, how to cast, and how to catch. He coaches you through the whole process, and is always willing to offer a hand. Upon returning to the dock, you could see the respect the other captains and fisherman had for Captain Steve. I had the most amazing fishing experience with Captain Steve! I am not much of a fisher and was very nervous but Captain Steve made me feel comfortable and coached me through catching my first triple tail fish! I would recommend Captain Steve to anyone looking for a great fishing experience in southwest Florida.

We have had Captain Steve three times and each time he amazes us. This year our family of four each caught over a dozen fish. Captain Steve was working hard the entire trip. He is a great captain who is very knowledgeable. We will definitely be using him again next year!

Capt. Steve was a great guide. He picked us up in a easy location to find and provided a great service on the water. The tide was against us and he still put us on nice fish all day.

Capt. Steve puts you on the fish! My 15 year old son and I spent a day in the river catching Snook and Jacks on the fly. Steve also came with plenty of live bait to stir up a little feeding frenzy. As New England anglers both the jacks and snook were firsts for my son on the fly. Really enjoyable day for us both. Captain Steve is a great guide and super nice guy. Looking forward to doing it again sometime.

We have been fishing with Captain Steve for the last 4-5 years while visiting family in Naples. We fish the Estero Bay and offshore. Captain Steve is awesome. When fish arent biting he finds a way to hunt them down which was the case Friday (27th Dec 2019). We caught a handful of triple tails and took two home (see pictures). Cpt. Steve provided us with a great experience. We had a few first timers and he made their time on the water fun and exciting. We caught numerous sharks, black drum, cobia, and hooked up to a 125lb Tarpon that my girlfriend fought for 2 hours. Cpt. Steve coached her the whole way through and made it the fight of a lifetime!

Could not find a better guide. Ive fished with Captain Steve many times on my visits to SW Florida. He has a great boat, new top quality rods freshly spooled and tenacity for finding whatever species your after. On my first trip my wife commented to me how he made her feel very comfortable. Ive caught snook in the mangroves, trout on the flats and bull sharks in the river mouths with Steve. He has always put us on fish and made a memorable trip. Hope to fish with him for Tarpon soon. I would highly recommend him for your next trip.

What do you call a fishing trip when:The guide insults the way that your kid casts,The guide refuses when your wife asks him to shift a reel from right handed to left handed,The guide tries (but fails) to put you on some dumb ass fish off shore when you explicitly asked to fish for specs and reds both in emails and when you boarded the boat?You call that a one star review, thats what.Family fishers beware, do not give this guy your business.
