My husband and two sons (9 and 6) spent the morning fishing with Captain Eddie near Bonita Springs on May 16. Captain Eddie was great to work with before the trip (flexible, gave good advice about the best day/time to fish based on weather and tide), but even better during the trip. He knew the best spots for fishing, taught the kids a ton (about the fish, the area, technique), was super kind and patient, and gave us advice for making the best of the rest of our trip. Best of all he guided our 9 year old to catch “a slam” and was sure our 6 year old and dad had some good catches too. Our sons wanted to eat the fish they could legally keep and Captain Eddie cleaned and prepped them - which was the only way we could have made this happen. It was delicious!!! Any time we are back in FL we will plan to spend time fishing with Captain Eddie. This was the highlight of our great trip by far! Thanks Captain Eddie!!!

Very early last summer (before the awful red tide fiasco really set in) we booked a half-day fishing charter with Captain Eddie. My friends from Orlando were going to be visiting and they really wanted to do a short fishing trip. I pulled up a few different charter companies online and emailed them to our dear friend Raul who is a passionate and experienced fisherman. Fortunately, he chose Captain Eddie and Shore Catch to take us fishing. Although the fish that day were not very plentiful we still had an incredibly great time. Eddie is a really easy-going and fun person to be around. It is clear he fully respects the boating laws and has the utmost respect and compassion for Florida wildlife. At one point we spotted a glass beer bottle while fishing in the bay and Eddie made sure to stop the boat and fish it out of the water so he could properly dispose of it. We were definitely bummed there werent more fish to be had but still pleased with the overall experience. We will definitely book Eddie again for our next excursion!

Capt. Eddie is a very nice guy who works really hard to give his clients a great fishing experience. We caught several over-slot redfish, two keepers, and two 40 lb tarpon on our trip. One of the best experiences Ive had. Two thumbs up!!

I booked a fishing trip with Captain Eddie of Shore Catch to surprise my husband for his birthday. I was nervous not only because I had never booked or been on a fishing trip but also because my husband is an experienced fisherman with high expectations.
