Best boat rental experience ever! I won a free half day rental online and what an amazing company and kind staff. They made the process super easy and quick. We will go back asap. My family had the best time ever.

I rented a deck boat for a full day. The rental process was quick and easy. The boat wasnt too old and the engine appeared to be new. We had fun exploring the area and saw numerous dolphins. We liked it so much, we seriously considered renting again the next day.

What an abysmal company.every time I take a boat out, its filled with a quarter tank of gas.the last time, I had to come back and get it re-filled.youd think that a Boat Rental place would get that done?dont even get me started on the used condom that I found underneath the seat too.do they even clean these boats when they come back? i saw some guy who I presume works for them smoking a blunt out back.pathetic operation. i wouldnt use them if they gave me a lifetime membership for free

Of all the boat rentals in this area. By far the best.Great rates and awesome service. Every time we rent a boat we come to Bay Water. I work on a 40 ft. Corinthian in Estero Bay.Trust me, you cant go wrong with Bay Water.

These boats are rentals so I understand people abuse them but if you are looking for a nice boat this isn’t the place.Although the engine ran and didn’t leave us stranded we were disappointed in the condition of the boat. See below for a list if some items.As a boater I understand some things break and are unavoidable with boats but as a boat rental company I expected considerably better. In comparison to Bay Water Boat Rentals there are better prices and much better condition boats for rent in the Naples area.I spoke with the owner (Adam) about our disappointment and he offered to discount $50 of gas since our fuel gauge doesn’t work along with ALL other electronics, switches, gauges, etc.Although he said sorry, but it is too bad about the condition of his boats. Said it was a busy season and renting boats is not their primary business. I am not sure a customer cares about those things when spending $550 to rent his boat for the day.Again their price was significantly higher and they frankly didn’t care that I was disappointed.Boat positives-- It started and ran and got us backNegatives-1) No gauges work except RPM2) No depth finder3) no vhf radio4) no gps5) not one switch works6) latches and doors open and slam while underway7) steering wheel was extremely loose8) boat bottom had significant growth on the bottom9) hull damage all the way around the boat10) canvas top has not been treated in 10years or more and leaked terribly when it rainedThese boats are rentals so I understand people abuse them but if you are looking for a nice boat to rent this isn’t the place.

While we were on the water we ran into some issues not of our fault. Derrick took care of all of the problems and exceeded expectations. You can rent here with confidence knowing you will have a great day on the water and if things happen you will be taken care by their friendly knowledgeable staff. So glad we found and rented from this company. We now are customers for life and every time we are in town will rent only from Bay Water Boat Rentals. We rented the pontoon all day and had a amazing time. I would recommend renting poles. We had fun fishing. They are also dog friendly

Good rental location-- boat we had was OK.. motor worked just fine and the boat floated... The speedometer was broke, no depth meter, and I want to say something else minor was broke... All in all, Id rent again.

The dockmaster gets a 5, for sure. Very knowledgeable, anxious that we had all the facts and careful to point out all the benefits. Reasonable entry and monthly fee. Liked the large number of boats. Mix of older and new boats.

Couldnt have had a better experience. My husband and I were in town for a couple days and decided to rent a boat. After looking at several rental places and what they had to offer, we chose to go here. Glad we did. Boats were well kept, staff was friendly and (without too much boat knowledge or area knowledge) access to what we wanted to do was made easy. Cant wait for our next visit to the area. This place is a must.

We have rented boats here for the past five years or so and have always had a great experience. The facility just gets nicer each time with continuous improvements, more and newer boats, and nice staff. I highly recommend this place to rent a boat and get out in the water to enjoy this gorgeous area!

We got a 4 hour rental that was 200 something and we spent 2 of the hours riding to where we can ride but then we docked on a private island and it was fun but the current was rough. We saw a shark and didnt go in the water it was scary. I would recommend somewhere else if I were you.

I cant believe the Weldon Busch review! I looked at his history and it is only 1/5 stars for 5 others. He must have an anger issue. Ive rented boats here and have had an excellent experience. Will certainly go back. I also want to know more about the boat club. The boats, location and staff are great!

We would give them a NEGATIVE 10 STAR if it were available. We rented a single engine boat from them over the holidays for an all day excursion to Captiva Island. This was openly discussed with the staff. No issues voiced. We drove out to Captiva; our 81 year old father, two teens, and two adults. Half way back, at about 3:30pm, the engine died in the intercoastal. We called the rental place and they informed us that we were outside of their approved area of operation. We had no idea, nor were we told of said parameters at any time. The charts on the boat did not have any indication of any boundary either - fine print, evidently. They sent us a Sea Tow as the only solution they were willing to provide. They wouldnt send us another boat, nor would they respond to our calls and texts begging them to when the temp dropped and the rain started. That trip back was 5 hours at 5mph (being towed). It was cold, windy, and rainy. We were all in shorts and bathing suits, and were shivering uncontrollably for 4+ hours. There was no cabin or cover on this boat. We were VERY concerned about the health of our 82 year old father as he was getting very pale and shaking from the cold. We ended up having him curl up in a storage well to try and keep him warm. Just an unbelievably heartless response from a company WHOS BOAT BROKE DOWN - a fact they seem to have forgotten. We got back to the dock at 8:45pm, one dock mate was there to help tie up the boat. No apology. No acknowledgement of the incident. Nothing. Next day, the owner refused to refund our money (even partially) and actually charged us for a late fee for bringing the boat back after 8pm... and tacked on a gas charge as well. We understand that things happen and sometimes boats break down, but to us, how a company responds says everything about them. This response was BEYOND unacceptable to us. We had two teens and an 81 year old on this boat that broke down, and Bay Water would do no better than send us a Sea Tow. Customer service aside, gall for charging us more money aside, this response was UNSAFE. We will NEVER EVER consider renting anything from these people again. We would STRONGLY suggest you consider your safety closely when you make your rental decisions. Do your research and consider your safety - esp consider how the rental company responds to issues with their equipment. You do not want to find yourself broken down on the water - and at the mercy of people who dont seem to care about their customers well-being.

The location is easy to get to and positioned in a nice location to get to the beaches and Fort Myers. Boats could use a engine tuning and a deep cleaning.

I have rented from Bay Water Rentals and I have also become a boat club member. Omar, Derrick, Adam, and Steve have ALWAYS been courteous, helpful and very concerned about explaining and teaching the requirements and restrictions in their orientations.If I could give Bay Water Boat Club #10 STARS, I surely would because they have made boating in SW Florida a dream come true for me and my family.Gratefully,Dave Delaney

The motor did not function properly. Hard to screw up a boating experience, but they managed to make it even worse by being extremely unreasonable and then justifying it by being the only boat rental available.

We have rented many boats in our journeys.... this place was the most expensive and the most disrespectful place I’ve ever dealt with.We paid $265 for a boat that was dinged up, 60 HP, ripped seats, no radio, trim didn’t work....this was the most we have ever paid for a 4 hour tour.We called an hour into the rental because of the disgusting conditions & their response was “bring it back now for a refund”. We obviously were not going to do that because we planned a day on the boat!Customer service is not a priority, which can make the whole experience a different energy... all around.Because of our attitudes and “everything happens for a reason”.... we had an amazing day,....Just don’t waste your money when there are places like Snook Brite Marina... we rented from them this past week.... amazing experience!Nameste!Nancy

We went with friends who needed ADA accessibility. None. We couldnt even get passed the parking lot. Its 2018- geeez!

Im a club member here and I give 3 thumbs up. Great boats and service for real. Backwaters around here are smooth. Newpass is one of the coolest places in SWFL. I cant wait to go out the day before Thanksgiving!

We have a problem with Bonitas Bay Water Boat Rentals. I personally spoke with a manager down there after for the umpteenth time one of their boats came barrelling up our river, almost full speed, wrong side of the river in a no wake zone. This injures wildlife, including manatee, damages property, and presents a boating hazard in our area.The manager couldnt have cared less! We instruct our drivers. Clearly not adequately. What struck me was his, (in my opinion) I dont care attitude!PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!! IT APPEARS THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE WILDLIFE, THE ENVIRONMENT, OR BOATING SAFETY, FROM WHAT I HAVE WITNESSEDNOT TO MENTION THE MANATEES SPECIFICALLY. PLEASE CONTACT THEM AND SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS REGARDING THEIR DISREGARD TO THE AREA, FOR THEIR FINANCIAL GAIN. PLEASE BOYCOTT!I JUST SPOKE WITH OMAR, THE OWNER. HIS MANAGER WHO EXPRESSED HIS DISREGARD FOR THOSE WHO LIVE ON THE ROUTES THAT THESE BOAT SPEED THROUGH CARELESSLY IS A BIG GUY. OMAR CANNOT CONTROL WHAT HIS POSITION ON THE ENVIRONMENT IS. FURTHER, ACCORDING TO OMAR,JUST LIKE RENTING A CAR, HE CANNOT CONTROL WHAT HIS BOATERS DO WHEN THEY LEAVE HIS FACILITY. FAIR ENOUGH, AND I AGREE. SINCE THIS IS THE CASE, OMAR SHOULD NOT BE RENTING BOATS AT ALL!! HIS LICENSE SHOULD BE REVOKED!! WE ARE TALKING ABOUT MANATEE BEING INJURED OR KILLED. OTHER WILDLIFE, THE SAME, NOT TO MENTION THE DAMAGE TO OUR PROPERTIES AND VESSELS. NONE OF THESE ARE OMARS. OBVIOUSLY HE TOO COULD CARE LESS WHICH SEEMS TO BE THE CULTURE WITHIN HIS ORGANIZATION. HIS CONCERN IS HIS BOTTOM LINE.I WILL DO WHAT I CAN TO HAVE HIS LICENSE REVOKED SINCE HE CANNOT CONTROL HIS (COULD CARE LESS ABOUT THE WILDLIFE AND PERSONAL PROPERTY DAMAGE) MANAGER, AND HE CANNOT CONTROL THOSE HE PROVIDES THE VESSELS OF DESTRUCTION TOO.iF OMAR REALLY CARED, HE WOULD HAVE HAD ALL OF HIS BOAT RENTERS READ A BRIEF PAMPHLET, AND TAKE A SHORT TEST AFTERWARDS, VERIFYING THAT THEY KNOW WHAT A MANATEE IS, AND WHAT WAKE/IDLE SPEED MEANS (WHICH I PROMISE YOU 75% OF HIS RENTERS HAVE NO IDEA). BUT OMAR CARES ABOUT 1 THING, HIS BOTTOM LINE.LET THE LOCAL PROPERTY OWNERS, AND THOSE CONCERNED ABOUT THE WILDLIFE JOIN TOGETHER TO HAVE OMARS LICENSE REVOKED. PERHAPS THERE IS A BOAT RENTER OUT THERE WHO CARES ENOUGH TO ASSURE HIS BOATS ARE DRIVEN IN A SAFE AND NON DESTRUCTIVE MANNER.

I had a last minute change of plans after paying for a boat AND securing a $200.00 deposit. The manager, Derrick, was really not very accomodating. He had no power to make any accomodations or refund my moneies, blaming the system.As a California business owner, I always take care of my clients to make sure their experience is first rate. Referral is the new way of assuring new bussiness.Following numerous phone conver sations, Derrick assured me he would send the release to my credit card company, via email, before the end of bussiness day. This did not happen.Now I have to get my banking and legal team involved.Very poor service in the finance area.
