Mr. Paige got me out of a jam on a Saturday morning with respect to a new Snapper lawnmower that I didnt even purchase from him. He was extremely courteous and helpful. I will certainly do business with him in the future and will highly recommend him to my friends and business associates. I can see why his ratings are very high!!
Love There Service And The People Who Work There Are Nice.
Top notched technicians, very knowledgeable. Slow turnaround during cutting season due to high volume of service and repairs. William and Jason are good, friendly folks.
Just this nicest people to do business with.
I took some lawnmower blades in to be sharpened. The staff there was very courteous and friendly. They sharpen my mower blades within 24 hours. They gave me a call the very next day when my blades were ready. I would highly recommend them.
I brought my zero-turn Toro mower in to Paiges Lawnmower Services at 1998 Surgi Dr. Mandeville, LA for repair on 2-24-21 at 9am. I requested an estimate on suggested repairs before any work was done. I asked for an approximate time line on the estimate and the guy at the counter said a couple of days. I didnt hear back from them so I called them on Friday 2-26-21 at 946am and I was put on hold and a second guy came on the line and said they havent touched it yet and they would call me me back when they look at it. They had all day Wednesday all day Thursday all day Friday and all day Saturday to look at it. They are closed Sunday and Monday. So I called again Tuesday morning 3-2-21 at 1003am and once again the guy said they havent touched it yet and they would call me when they look at it. I expressed my frustration and the guy said there was one more ticket before me and then they would look at it. He then said you can come get it and take somewhere else if you want. I told him they have had it for 5 days and have wasted enough of my time and I need to know what is wrong with my mower within the hour. At 1130am I went to Paiges Lawnmower Service to pick up my mower and the guy behind the counter said he was just about to call me. I said too late I would like to pick up my mower and take it somewhere with better service. Another guy at the counter walked up and said I had to pay for the estimate or I would not get my mower back. I told the guy I do not want their estimate or service any longer and I said I was calling the non emergency sheriff number to get my machine back. With an attitude the guy said go ahead. I walked out the front door and called the non emergency sheriff number at 1205pm and while I was on the phone with sheriff dispatch, the guy from Paiges came out and said here is your estimate and held it up at me about 2 feet from me. The dispatch lady heard his attitude and the guy kept talking over me and the sheriff dispatch. The guy at Paiges told me to get off his property and he would bring me my mower in the street and I could load it up myself after I pay for the estimate. The Sheriff Dispatch said she was sending an officer to assist. I left Paiges property and waited in a driveway behind Paiges Lawnmower Service. Once the Sheriff showed up I explained my situation and then the officer went to talk to the guy from Paiges Lawnmower Service. When the officer came back to me, she said to follower her over and the Paige guy was going to give me my mower. The Paige guy brought my mower out to parking lot on a forklift and I told him that he knew that I would not be able to push the mower up on my trailer on my own and in front of the officer he said he would help. My mower looked like it was left outside for 5 days and the deck belt was not on the pulleys. It was on there when I brought it in and a box of various parts that i also brought in with my mower was completely saturated since it was left outside for 6 days and in the rain for the last 2 of those days. Im appalled at the way this business treats their customers and I see there are several similar reviews and experiences like mine. Im truly surprised they are still in business.
Friendly staff, reasonable prices and great service!
My advice, use an honest company for lawnmower repair, not a liar and cheat like these people. My cousins riding mower would start but not run. She called Craftsman and the technician recommended that she call Paige Lawnmower Repair in my area. The Technical Support gentlemen at Craftsman informed her that she had a 2 year warranty on the mower, and that Paige Lawnmower Repair was the only repair shop that would honor the warranty. He also said, that without an extended warranty, she would only be responsible for the pick up and delivery fee, and things like belts, blades, etc. Anything engine related was covered. That was fine with her. When the man from Paige came to pick up the mower, she told him that if there were any repairs to be made that were not a warranty item, ie. blades, belt, etc., to let her know before the work was done. Neither one of us got a call. When the mower was ready, Paige Lawnmower Repair called. The bill was over $200.00, Cash Only. Even though requested, she had not been informed of any non warranty work. The owner said the fuel solenoid was bad, and that the carburetor was full of dirt, gunk, and debris. However, earlier on the same day the mower was picked up, I had actually taken the carburetor bowl off to check for debris. It was clean as a whistle. Yet he said the bowl was full of debris. She told him that she knew for fact that that was not true. Then he started yelling at her so loud, I could hear him over the phone. We also found that they had broken the pulley guard on the mower. You can see where they pried it off with a screwdriver. They had also put a piece of metal pipe on top of the mandrel, then re-fitted the pulley guard where it wasnt obvious until the mower was started. When the mower was started, the whole thing flew apart with the metal pipe chunk bouncing around on top of the mandrel. The deck was torn apart, and could have caused injury. They have been reported to Craftsman and to the police.
Excellent and friendly service!
They don’t answer the phone but they do get you the part in record time. They have snapper parts. I needed a drive ring which only set me back $25 including tax. I say support the locals.
Very knowledgeable and very helpful. Fair prices
Great selection of mowers with several brands and types. Small to large. Good pricing. Provides service .
When I called I was told service on my mower would be $129 plus $60 for drop off and delivery. When they called to tell me it was ready my bill was over $300! They never told me the three times that I had previously called that there would be filter charges. I even told them to call me if any work needed to be done besides the $129 service. I did get a call about the battery, at the time I told him I didn’t want it, so he told me he would go ahead and take it out. They already put it in without asking and assumed I would agree to it. I should have known after what happen to my friend, same thing happened to him, but I decided to give them a chance since that is where we purchased the mower. When I confronted the man that answered the phone he tried to lie and say he tells everyone about the filter charges. WRONG! I am cheap, I would have heard “the filter charges”. FYI A customer service course wouldnt hurt. Lesson learned and will be taking our business elsewhere.
Terrible customer service!!!From the day I bought my zero turn to the last time they serviced my mower. Every interaction with this business has been frustrating. In fact the day I got it back from having it serviced, the belt came off after 5 minutes of mowing.Somehow the belt completely jumped outside the bolted down guide??? They blamed it on a stick in my yard. They offered to pick it back up but My grass couldn’t wait another three or more weeks. And I didn’t have the patience to keep calling every week to get a different answer when it would be ready. So I fixed it myself.Too bad I can’t post the pic showing the belt set outside of the bolted down guide. Absolutely not a stick. I had to un- bolt the guide to get the belt back in!!!And when I expressed my frustration, they said I could go somewhere else. Unbelievable. Don’t worry. I will! And I’m telling everyone I know to go somewhere else! Here’s a hint so you don’t keep getting these reviews: You need to realize we as customers can buy your same products and services elsewhere. So when we decide to spend our hard-earned money with you... treat us with respect. Keep your word about how long repairs will take. And own your mistakes. No one is perfect. But blaming this on a stick is ridiculous. So now I have a mission. But if you would have done what is right you would have an ally.
Their prices are better than what I found on the Internet. They registered my equipment, and prepped my equipment for my first time use. Top notch advice and service.
I bought a Dixie Chopper for my lawn, and absolutely would recommend anyone considering a machine of this quality, to visit Paige Lawnmower Shop. They helped me make the best decision for my needs, and are always ready to answer any questions. Mr. Paige and Mr. Lloyd are responsible for a well stocked parts department full of products that work!
Excellent service, I own my own lawn service and I now drive 25 minutes to buy all my equipment here because I was tired of the crappy service at my local dealer. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about the products they sell.
These guys are great. If you want to fix something yourself they will happily advise you. Just awesome service.
The parts guy was very helpful getting me the right parts for my weed eater
Friendly knowledgeable staff. no pressure to buy. sold me a zero turn mower. and honest enough to tell me where to get a cheap push mower for a smaller patch of yard l have
Stopped in to have a lawn tractor tire fixed. They checked it, showed me the problem and then installed the necessary tube. I found them to be fast and efficient.
Great service and Large inventory of parts. Will order, if necessary. Local store with personal service. Sells lawnmowers; riding and push styles.
Very helpful kind people, knowledgeable about parts and reasonable on prices. You wont find a cheaper Dixie chopper, gravely anywhere
Great selection of lawn equipment and the sales and service team is great. No high pressure sales people and they take time to answer questions.
I would not even give them one star. We had nothing but problems from the start. Bought brand new and was delivered rusted. From there we had nothing but problems with the new one as well. We had the clutch fly off after they worked on it. Thankfully my son was on the mower with me. We went through 2 solenoid, vaultage regulator, 3 batteries etc. We were in the shop every other month from the start and they refuse to help us out. I would NOT recommend to anyone!!!
These people always treat you right! Great service!!!
Good customer service. No high pressure sales, and has several brands to compare.
Great folks, knowledgeable, expert customer service.
Good people, know there business and how to treat there customers. Ill be bock!
After multiple phonecall attemps, I couldnt get through to Paige Lawnmower to check stock levels on a part that I need. I also wasnt able to leave a message for a return phonecall as the voice recording states that messages will not be heard or returned. I will be acquiring my parts elsewhere, this is a terrible way to run a business.
Nice ppl and helpful.
I bought a Dixie chopper from them and love it. The service their is impeccable and even when a problem arised,( at no fault of their own through the credit company), they diligently called and had it fixed. Even though they werent responsible they handled the matter for me and I really fealt like they were on my side, which is a rarity in todays business world. As a professional yardservice guy myself, it is good to know I can count on them. I would highly recommend them to all my friends.
Brought in my lawn mower in August 2011 for repair, lawn mower was repaired but it tooks 3 weeks! They had told me 1 week when I brought it in...
Its great
Not impressed. Looking for reasons to ignore the warranty. Paid $50 for a belt and $55 to have it put onThen they adjusted the frameand told me that should keep it from happening in the future, sounded like a warranty issue to me?
Brought my lawnmower in about 3 weeks ago, called today and said it would be another week. Had to hire a lawn service to get my grass cut.
Terrible costumer service. Shoddy work.
Lawnmower has a design flaw, the seat cut two fuel lines, they told me they would be replacing them but they just put some glue on
Had what I needed in stock
Helpful staff
