Barbers are good but when I went back the business was closed but come to find out they across the street by Dunkin donuts so we back in business 😁

Okay so this mom has been struggling with getting my toddler comfortable at the barber shop. I think he had some really traumatic experiences at the first barber he was going to, and the environment at the old shop was not suitable for children, so I was looking for a new one. I needed someone patient for a toddler who is afraid of the chair, professional, yet good with giving a crispy cut. In my appointment booking, I said I didn’t have a preference with who my son had as a barber just wanted someone patient. Well Mike was everything and more. He was fully engaged with my son and me, offered great conversation. He did not rush or stop and take a million calls during our appointment, he did not cut my baby’s ear or forehead, my son had a crisp line and didn’t have line cuts to achieve so, his fade was flawlessly blended, and Mike was EXTREMELY patient with my son who is working to get back comfortable in the barber chair. My son left telling everyone, look “I got hair cut! I did it.” I would recommend them to everyone. Thank you again Mike, we appreciated you very much. I hope you will have us again and that Master Barbers can become a home barbershop for him.

I came in as a walk in and Bobby got me in and out quick but the quality of my cut was excellent. He made me feel very comfortable considering this was my first styled short cut. I’ll definitely be coming back.

Not sure how this place even exists! I had been growing my hair for 3 years all for Jermaine to completely do a botched job. I knew it was too good to be true to find a good barber spot close to home. Jermaine is terrible and thirsty for whatever clientele he can get, such a bad barber no wonder so many negative reviews are linked to him.

Bobby is an awesome barber. He cuts both my hair and my sons. I advise making an appointment as he gets very busy. I really like this place and will continue to refer people to Bobby!

All I gotta day is WOW! and not in a good way. My son went in with a hair style he seen online and showed the barber but the barber completely botched it! I would think if a barber doesnt know how to do a specific hairstyle they would just pass him over to someone that does. I dont recommend this shop to anybody. Beware!

If you are unsure where to go for a nice clean cut, go to Master Barbers! I am new to the area from Atlanta and desperately needed my 6 years old son’s hair cut but it was after 9:30 pm on a Saturday night. I googled and saw Master Barbers was open until 10. I called and a guy named Andre confirmed we could still come. To my surprise, Jo Andre was the only one there as he was just about to leave when I called but was extremely courteous and helpful from the beginning to the end. When he finished, it was hands down the coldest cut my son had gotten in Chicago. Since then, Andre has been super flexible and willing to accommodate our busy schedule even in last minute situations. Needless to say, Andre is absolutely my son’s official barber! Thanks Dre!

My father, two brothers, and I have been going to Master Barbers since they opened about 15 years ago. Mike, the proprietor, is one of the best barbers in Chicagoland and is a consummate professional. They have a great atmosphere and great people working.

This was my first time getting my hair cut in illinois and I had a very bad experience. I arrived at the shop around 7pm. I was pleasantly surprised that they were taking everyones temperatures and had plastic curtains separating the barber stations. I sat down and waited my turn, the barber approached the area where i was sitting and asked whos next. Before I can get in the chair he tells me that im his last cut and that he needs to get out of here. Long story short, I told him how i wanted it cut but I guess he didnt care. He rushed through my haircut (literally took him 10mins), to the point to where he nicked me serveral times with the strait razor!! I . Lastly, he did not wear a mask, (everyone else had theirs on) the reason I noticed that he didnt put one on was the fact that his breathe was VERY foul smelling, I didnt even want to ask his name. Fellas beware of this unprofessional barber. His chair is the 3rd one on the left, he wears his hair very low and has a long beard.....

Cut my husbands hair decently.However, they cannot keep an appointment. My husband made an appointment 2 days prior he came in and even called that day of his hair cut only to be told he had to wait, because he had to people in front of him.What is the point of making an appointment when they cannot keep it??? That is why I rate it a 1 star!!

Got a fantastic haircut from Gerome, I can reccomend him since he can cut hair very well and does great fades. The facility itself is well kept and the customer service is great. Would be coming back in the future.

Ive been here multiple times and never had a complaint. But today, the guy that cut my hair was very adamant about being in a hurry to leave. He answered his phone halfway through my haircut and breezed through the cut without any attention to detail. After he was done he told me that they only accept cash on sundays (maybe mention that before you start or at least post a sign)... they have accepted cards every other time Ive gone. When I asked why he couldnt take my card he claimed that because the supervisor wasnt there to pay him in cash. I agreed to come back with cash but he wanted to keep my ID until I paid him.. what a joke.

Ranando is an excellent Barber at Master Barbers. He pays close attention to detail. Whatever you can envision, he can make happen. You wont ever have to worry about him pushing your hairline back!

Been here twice so far and cut by Bobby and all I can is I found my barber shop, the guys here are experienced and know what they’re doing, you get what you ask for, Bobby himself is a great guy, he cuts my hair exactly how I want it (which is a huge issue for me with Other barbers) the overall vibe is laid back and chill, you come in and you don’t feel awkward all the guys are welcoming and do great work. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

Not sure about the other Barbers but the light skinned guy named Jermaine can’t cut hair. Cut my sons hair into a mohawk and he looked like Mr.T. Mohawk was not shaped up Nor was it Blended or faded. Vic has been cutting my hair for about 20 years since I was kid. He does my brother and did my dad as well. Always consistent, funny, and great to talk to. Great atmosphere in the shop and professional.

I am new to the area and a neighbor referred me to Master Barbers to service my 1 year old son. Once me and my son arrived today we ran right into Bobby B. at the front door. He had just came outside for a little break with his co-worker but had no problem heading right back in to cut my sons hair. Not only is he talented and did an amazing job on my sons hair but he has great customer service! Hes very professional, patient (highly important if you have kids), friendly and polite. I have been getting my haircut from Bobby Buche since I was fourteen. Graduations, interviews, weddings or just a line-up. I grew up in his chair. Now that I am going to be a father myself, you can be sure that I will be bringing my child. Every time I get out of his chair I am satisfied. Even if there is a line, he is worth the wait!

First time here and Bobby Bucher hooked it up. I needed a beard line up/trim before a party and he really did extra without me even asking. In the past, with my other barbers, I always had to make a trip home and clean up my face after a haircut/beard lineup. With Bobby I didnt have to since he made sure I was ready for the party right after I got out of his Barber Chair. Highly recommend this place. Its hard to find a good skilled Barbershop and Barber these days.

The barbers are friendly and do great work. They got me in quick and made sure I was happy with the cut.Edit: I have since stopped going to this barbershop. The barber I was using does shoddy work. I basically had to tell him how to do his job and it was still only okay. I took him somewhere else for a touch up. All the other barbers do good work but I wouldnt have been comfortable switching barbers.

This is definitely an excellent spot for a haircut. The atmosphere here is family friendly, but grown. No cus bombs dropped, usually old-school music playing and BET on the TV. I dont know if you could get a bad hair cut here, honestly. Victor, Robert, Bobby, this tall guy with braids (dont know his name but he understands the concept of a beautifully crafted gradient fade like none other!!) They make you feel welcome everytime and can squeeze you in if you forget to set an appointment. Youll like it here and youll like your look too.

Was looking for a real barbershop to get my haircut and my beard lined up, found Master Barbers on Google and went off the good reviews. I went in as a walk in and was taken right away. I wont be naming my barber cause he was cool with me and made good conversation. He took his time to cut my hair and line me up. Price was fair and went on my way, my temples on both sides of my head felt a little sore and I ignored it. Woke up this morning to see marks on my temples. Have never had marks like that from a haircut. Very dissatisfied and disappointed to be left like this. Before the marks I was gonna return to this place but not any more.

My favorite shop in town... the other shops employees novice barbers... go here if you want a fresh cut..
