I cannot tell you how wonderful it was to find this professionally run family owned business that is truly customer service oriented. I originally went there to have a battery for my watch replaced and will not ever go anywhere else for jewelry repair or needs. The shop is well managed, clean, courteous and beyond anything that I had ever experienced in service. Dont get put off by the Pawn connotation which I originally was, this is purely a first class, first rate business and service. The sons and their father make sure of it. I have recommended them to several and will not hesitate to do so again. So happy to have found this gem! (pardon the pun)

Pawn and Jewelry Place is a delightful, well run, family business started by an Hungarian grandmotherand has remained a family business for generations.I can not say enough good things about this place. I found both the father and son (Barry & Josh) to be extremely pleasant to work with. But more importantly was their wealth of knowledge and willingness to research every piece of jewelry I brought in for appraisal with the intention of selling.In the end, they paid me a decent and fair price which allowed me to walk away happy.I highly recommend cleaning out your drawers and jewelry box and bringing the gold and silver jewelry you no longer use to the Pawn & Jewelry Place.Cleaning your drawers and selling stuff you no longer need can put cash in your pocket which is way better than junk in your drawers.

Everyone in the shop was very helpful,knowledgeable and courteous. I brought in some old coins, jewelry, and some antique newspapers. Each item was checked thoroughly and efficiently, and it was explained to me why certain items had value and others had little or none. For one of the items he even recommended where I could possibly take that item for further consideration. Very nice experience.

Everyone, no matter what, hits a bad spot in these economic times. Financial emergencies arise, things happen. Unless youre independently wealthy, it will happen to you! I called around to several pawn shops. I didnt know what to expect, having never been in this position before. When I spoke to Barry on the phone, he was respectful and courteous. My husband and I went to his shop. His wife was helping him that day. They made us feel comfortable and secure. I cant say enough good things about them. We had the opportunity to meet his son on another trip to the shop. He too was so nice! This family knows that you are in a tight spot, yet at no time did I feel like they were trying to take advantage, that they thought we were lesser than, that they acted in any way other than totally professional and kind. When you do hit that bad spot, try them first. They really do almost make you feel like family! I would recommend them 100%!

I just had a fantastic experience here!I had spent the last week and a half looking for a certain item that was crucial to a gift I am putting together for my girlfriend for our anniversary. I called a number of different Pawn Shops in the area as well as vinyl stores, CD stores and major chains looking for my item and they couldnt help me and some were very rude that I would even ask. I could only find what I was looking for on eBay and the stores I called told me so, until I called this store.When I called, Barry immediately picked up the phone and was polite and helpful and sympathetic. He found my item that moment and I picked it up 15 minutes later for a wildly cheap price. I cant speak on their business from a sellers stand point, but from a buyers stand point, they are exceptional.

I brought in four of the most valuable and rarest coins that the United States Mint has produced in 25 years. One was the enhanced American Silver Eagle graded MS 70, another was the 2012 reverse proof American Silver Eagle graded MS 70 the two other were MS 70 graded reverse proof coins in oak presentation boxes. On eBay all of this would sell for well over $400 dollars. I was offered $40. I took the coins to a more knowledgeable pawnshop, Crown Pawn shop, and I asked for 100 dollars, pawning not selling, and he offered me up to $200 dollars. When I told him my experience with this pawnshop he suggested I take the invoice down and show them what they turned down. When I turned their offer down the young boy working there yelled at me that they knew more than I did because they had been doing this for 30 years. Either they dont know their products or they were being very deceptive with what they offered hoping I didnt know ant better. My suggestion is stay away from these deceptive people.. And the offer is open for me to bring in the invoice in to show you your mistake. I probably would never have wrote this if I was insulted as I was leaving.

My fiance and I went to look at rings and they not only had an AMAZING variety, but they also had incredible service. It seems to be a family owned business and the employees were very engaged and eager to help us, (not to mention the awesome prices!) They charge by gold weight, not by fancy design. They even sized the ring for us there!

Hi. My wife and I went to this store to sell some silver jewelry. We went in and showed the person what we had. The person took the jewelry and and looked at it, didnt check the weight, if it was real or not and gave us a price of $25. We said no and took it to the business next door. That company used a kit to check if it was real and weighed it and gave us a price of $80. Im not sure why this business didnt do the right thing but I will never try to do any business with them again.

Friendly and helpful will be back again.Bought a Nixon watch and didnt realize the battery was dead. Brought it back the next day and they fixed it for me no questions asked.
