I put in an application. They didnt hesitate to take my application fee. And I after that never heard a word. All she would say that someone would call me within 3 busses days and still no phone call. I wouldnt even give them a one star if I didnt have too. Renters beware.

Horrible place to stay west blvd apartments I only been renting through them for 4 months and I been calling they don’t answer phone calls and they don’t call back I been complaining bout flooding in the building and no one has came out there’s a lady that lives above me said she’s been trying to get them to come out and fix her stove that’s been out for over a month also someone who live above her shower is leaking into the second floor into her walls n bathroom I’m so disappointed!!!!! my carpet is molding I have diabetes and asthma my immune system isn’t the best and I’m starting to get sick from the molding 💔😔

I filled out a application online on Friday April 2nd they took my $40 fee. I never heard anything from the Agent ED. I never even got the chance to see the place come to find out out it’s no longer available.. My last dealings with him wasn’t good because he arrived late and he willingly told me it was his first time looking through the house also. Geisler website was glitchy and outdated so It wasn’t easy submitting on Friday 4/2. This company is extremely sketchy and read reviews before applying because they gonna keep your fee if you see the property or not.

Terrible place. I went did application for a house talked to a reo went to see the house for rent he says looks good. Everytime after when I tried to find out about the rental I was told the owner has to check application. So I call back to check to see if application was ever checked and no one ever got back to me. I emailed the email that was given to me over and over never a response. I called the office no response. Then I go past property someone is living in the house. Why couldnt someone just tell me the house was rented or I just was not able to rent it. But to just ignore email and calls was not professional in my opinion. Sorry so long be blessed

My boyfriend and I filled out applications and paid the fee to view a house. I never heard anything back about our applications so I had to call twice and get mouthy to even find out what happened with our applications. We finally got through to the leasing agent and set up a tour. We decided not to go with the home and we waited for another house to become available since they said our applications stayed active for a few months. We found another home we really liked and I called Geisler to see if we can view the other home. The receptionist said our application was denied for the previous home but we never went forward with the house to be approved or denied? So we tried to speak with Ed, the leasing agent to find out what the issue was. This was Thursday 11/12. I was supposed to get a call back the next day and ever did so I called again Monday the 16th. The receptionist said he wasn’t in the office and won’t be back until Wednesday the 18th and because of Thanksgiving he won’t get back to me until the 20th. Never got a phone call so I called AGAIN on 11/23 and was supposed to get a call back in a few hours and guess what? I never got a call back. It’s sad because they have nice houses and it’s hard enough to find a decent place to live in this area. We’re good people who make good money so I just don’t understand how they conduct business when you can’t even have a 5 minute conversation with anyone about anything. I’ll cut my losses at the $40 versus the hundreds of dollars they would’ve gotten from us. Dodged a bullet.

Do not waste your money and pay for the application. The same places are online and they just want money from the applications. Do the math they get 100 inquiries for each unit they advertise and thats more than the rent a month for the owners. I applied and was showed a place and said they would approve it call back. I handed them all my section 8 paperwork and knew my deadline or I wouldnt have a place to live. The realitor Mike didnt call back,left his voicemail full, and I called the office and left a message and called again the next day and was told he received them. He made me wait on a his word it would be approved and now he is no where to be found and kept my paperwork. Its a big scam! Dont trust this realtor! Ive called the office and they change there automated system from the week I was calling and you cant get through. My friend went through the same thing and was even in the office and overheard ladies talking about their caller ID and know whos number is calling and not to answer and let it go through voicemail.Adding on a month later to this today that they still have not sent my refund in the mail.

Basement has been flooding for 2 months and still haven’t had anyone repair it, not to mention several other problems they’ve known about for 6+ months.Good luck with any sort of concern or following up from these people. I’ve paid $765 a month for 3 years and can’t even get a $150 failing sump pump replaced and a list of other things.I don’t think their keyboard is even plugged in when they “enter a repair request”.Wouldn’t recommend renting from this group.

Rough start at a new address with the realty company, but I will say that they are willing to work with you. Theyve honored all my requests for upkeep and maintenance. Mike has been responsive and helpful in navigating the company business units and getting things done. Thanks.

Im sure the realtors are pleasant and helpful, but you would only know that if you actually get to talk to them. Submitted an application with a non-refundable fee and never heard a response. No email, no phone call, not even to say I was accepted/denied. Really disappointed, all I wanted to do was view a property I was interested in renting. And I really cant get my money back? I will not be renting with Geisler.

Id give 0 stars if I could. Do not rent from this company. They dont answer the phone. If you have an emergency, good luck, because you will just have to leave a message on a voicemail and wait for someone to call you back when they are open. We found mold in the house we rented which should have been found by them before renting out the property. They did not inspect the basement because there was a huge black moldy spot under the bathtub. We found it when complaining about the plumbing and the owner of the house said thats old. So it shouldnt be fixed?? That was when I decided to stop calling Geisler. Renee was also late to show us their rental units which was unprofessional. We were almost not able to move into the house on the promised date because the owner waited until the last day to move out. We were also told the house would be cleaned and carpets shampooed before we moved in. That wasnt done. They also lied on the posting saying the house has 1.5 baths because there is a non functioning toilet in the basement. Renee tried to have us pay more in rent than was posted.

I rented a property 2 years ago, and I am still there. They are easy to work with and work with me if I need it. I never had a problem with repairs being completed in a timely manner, and my property was in a great condition prior to moving in. I highly recommend contacting them for your rental needs.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. Absolutely awful company to rent from. We rented from them for 13 months. Upon moving in we were told the house would be cleaned, carpets scrubbed and all trash removed from the house. The house was a disgusting mess on our move in day. All of the trash from the previous tenants was left in the home and it was filthy and smelled terrible. But we already signed the lease and paid rent/ deposit. We were garuanteed the home was pest free. What a lie. Spiders in the basement, mice everywhere, bats, birds and hornets in the attic and they would not resolve the problem. They are also trying to charge us rent for the month after we moved out. Bottom line, DO NOT rent from this company if you can find another option, which you undoubtedly can. Slum lords at their finest.

Was told i had to pay for a background check before i was permitted to view the property. Later to find out the property is already rented and is still online taking applications aka $20 per person. Im sorry but if thay doesnt scream scam. So im out $40 they house was already rented before they took my money. Went to find my mother a section 8 apartment, instead my mother who is on a very fixed income lost $20. No one contacted us for almost 2 week before I called asking about her application. I asked to refund app fee because no one had even contacted us. Lady said ok, another almost 2 weeks pass, nothing. I call back and all of a sudden she didnt even qualify! And no refund.. thanks for calling and letting us know...

My roommate and I have had problems with Geisler since the day we received our keys to our apartment. They were over an hour late to our appointment with them to pick up our keys at their office, resulting in a host of problems regarding moving in. Due to Geisler being unable to successfully respond to anyones calls in our apartment building, tenants are being unfairly moved out of their rightful storage spaces in the basement. They have failed to return numerous phone calls regarding maintenance issues within the apartment (leaking sinks, broken and cracked windows, broken outlets, tiles falling off the bathroom tub, floors with water spilling out of them). When they did successfully return our calls about fixing the leaks, they insisted on going into our apartment while we were at work and uncomfortable with strangers being inside with our valued belongings. Our year lease here has been a constant battle with Geisler and I wouldnt recommend anyone signing into a lease with them.

Well 1st Renee was late to show me house the main office told me once approved youll get a showing! when i talked to Renee I asked now that ive shown interest in this house how soon can I move in she said oh well I have to run it by another leasing agent! I decided not to rent with gielser!

First impressions was worst realtor ever, showed us one house with a hole in kitchen below the bathroom that flooded the first floor and ran into the basement. was told house would be fixed within 2 days but knowing there was water damage there was no way it would be treated for mold, cleaned, and repaired in 2 days.

Have used Geisler for 3 years now. I have had the same tenant. I could have dropped the agency after the first year and kept the entire rent for myself but they go above and beyond for me, the tenant, and my house. More than 1 repair was cheaper through the companies they partner with than it would have been for me to do myself. Thank you Dan and staff, heres to many more years together!

Giesler will rent you a house with an infestation of mice. When we moved in there was no visible sign of mice. We begin to hear something in the attic, we did not know what we were hearing. After about a month of staying there, I learned that GEISLER WAS AWARE OF THE PROPERTY HAVING MICE, when I found several of hidden mouse traps and poison in the drop ceiling in the basement. I called and left a complaint on the answering service, no one would even call me back, instead they sent a guy out, named Andy, from a pest control company. Andy had came out to the home a total of 4 times.Every time I had a complaint, I was told my property was an As Is Rental Property, which wasnt not noted anywhere in my rental agreement. Also the owners of the house, left a closet full of things in the basement, they stored things in the shed, garage, and various places throughout the house. They told me that the things would be removed from the property, but it never happened. Then the last time I complained, I was told to move the items to the basement out of the way. I was never given access to the shed. Since they would not return my calls I had to complain when I dropped the rent off.Then in the basement, there was a sewer that was missing a cap, which they covered with a rug. I had an exposed sewer opened to my toddlers. Of course my toddler found it, sometime before I did. There was toys dropped inside it. I didnt learn of this until the sewer backed up into the house. I had to throw all of my things away.Regrettably, we made a bad choice by trusting this company. We agreed to rent this property from out of state. When I arrived to the home, I was disappointed to see that the house was misrepresented via the pictures uploaded online. And it smelled horrible. The home was unkempt and dirty. The deck was in bad shape. They had promise to fix several of things throughout the house, most of which they never did. The pictures were clearly taken several of years ago, when the house was in better shape. Then the hilarious thing is, after we moved out they reuploaded the same set of misleading pictures, displaying a beautiful property; the same day we moved out. So they did not even take the time to do any maintenance to the property. So I guess it really is the definition of an as is rental. I complained about them posting misleading pictures to the staff member, she in return tells me We would not advertise damage. During the walk through she accused my children of damaging the home, but luckily I had taken pictures when we moved in, and noted all of my complaints. Upon moving in the carpet was severely soiled and smelly. The tub and toilets were even dirty. The house need some attention for sure. When we moved in there was scribble marks, in blue ink pen and crayon all over the walls in 2 bedrooms, and peeling wallpaper and paint tbroughtout the house. She then lied and said she did a walk through with me prior to me moving in, and that I should have complained then. Which was a lie, and I could prove it. I was unable to come in for walk through since I was not a residence of Ohio, I am from another state. I was involved in a Change of Domicile case with my ex; my family could not leave our residential state without my exs permission. She and I had never met. Nor have Ive met with anyone else from the company. After driving for several hours, we went straight to the office to pick up the keys for the property. The first time I saw the property was the day we moved in, we had all of our belongings in a U-Haul truck. DO NOT EVER RENT ANY PROPERTY WITHOUT SEEING IT FOR YOURSELF, ESPECIALLY FROM GIESLER!!!I did get my FULL deposit back because when I saw the property for the first time, I knew that I would potentially have to take them to court. So I covered myself by recording conversations, taking notes ( including dates, times, and names) and taking plenty of photos. Just imagine if I hadnt, I would have been out of $1,000 plus.Horrible experience and GEISLER REALTY ARE LIARS!

When trying to buy/rent a home the first thing you never want the realtor to say is We are interested in helping you once you fill out our application and pay a nonrefundable fee. Im sorry it just seems like you really dont care to help you just want to make sure you want to help. Thanks but no thanks.
