I have tried multiple nail salons in Bloomington and this place is by far the best. Not only was the experience great as a whole but my nails have never been so perfectly shaped and painted. I went with a simple nail the first time but will definitely be returning for a design at my next fill. They take their time on every aspect even after fitting me in close to closing. The lady even helped me pick out which pink was a better match and was so sweet and funny. They both work so hard and did an amazing job. I cannot wait to go in again and see what they do next time. My cuticles look so good, no bubbles in the gel, the nail has no bumps and the shape is perfect. HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PLACE.

I just moved to Bloomington and was looking for a new nail salon . I went to one and had a bad experience, I found this one as well on google and I’m very happy to say I have found a new nail salon ! Today was my second time there and I’m just as pleased as the first time. Very clean, very nice people, and great service. My pedicure from the first time still looks good I didn’t have to get another one today . If you’re looking for a nail salon, try this one you’ll be happy !

Great service and excellent quality. Ive had both regular and gel pedicures done, and they always turn out so well and last a long time. I also cannot say enough wonderful things about the massage chairs! They are definitely my favorite chairs Ive ever sat an. An appointment highly, highly recommended.

My tech did my nails & she was fast, skilled + fun to talk to! The shop has tons of beautiful nail polish colors to choose from! Very nice people here, definitely recommend!

It seemed like they were understaffed, so perhaps that explains my experience. I had an appointment and luckily didn’t have to wait too long, but many others came in who also had appointments. It felt like my pedicure and manicure were rushed and not done well because people were waiting and the staff felt pressure to get on to the next customer. I’m usually very forgiving but these services aren’t cheap and I want it done right. She acted annoyed when I wanted my nails shaped more evenly, and did not do a clean job on the dipping powder. It was very average at best and I won’t come back.

I just moved to Indiana so i gave this place 2 chances. I had an appointment and it seems like there’s only two people on staff so I wasn’t seen until well after my appointment time. When they do my nails it was very rushed, and not even two days later were my nails cracking. I always get dip which is suppose to last a while. I go back the next day & they fix it. Great. One day goes by and another nail chips. I’ve never had this happen before so i definitely will not be going back.

I had a wonderful time at VIP nails. They got me in for an appointment at a reasonable time and were quick with their service. The decor is nice and they are very friendly. I got a full acrylic set and the design I asked for transferred so well due to the nail techs talent.

As far as the salon is concerned, this was my first time here. The staff member that greeted me when I first walked in to check in for my appointment was very kind. The pedicure chairs were very comfortable and the prices were reasonable for the services

Because I usually get my nails done somewhere else but I decided to try the place and the environment is very nice and the pricing was really good alot better than some but I had my nails done from there only like four days and they started to come off for no apparent reason and or break in half and I was just very disappointed because I love it very nice design like I thought I was going to make this place my new place to go get my nails done but I really dont want to have to go back every four days you know what I mean but this is just my own experience.

My tech did a great job with my manicure and pedicure. I will definitely be back. Its nice to find a place that runs on time and does a great job.

I came in to get a pedicure and a a basic gel manicure, but then I ended up trying the gel extensions for the first time and I love it! The ladies who worked on me were very detail oriented and accommodating to all of my requests.

It was my first time in today, and I had dip powder that was grown out and damaged from another shop. I walked in and was seen immediately. My tech took care of me, and it was perfect.

The two workers who did my nails were absolute sweethearts! My nails turned out gorgeous and they even helped me pick out better colors once I realized I didn’t like the ones I had started with. The drill part was a tad bit aggressive and gave me a small wound on my pinky but it’s barely noticeable!!

I love this place. Ive been going here and they never disappoint. Theyve got great selection of colors, talented technicians, excellent accommodations, and the best customer service in my opinion.

I was hesitant going during the pandemic, but I can rest assure they take all proper precautions. It felt great. I felt great afterwards, and I got to try something new.

Best nail salon I’ve gone to in Bloomington. They do a great job shaping the nails as well as filing them down so it’s nice and smooth and natural-looking.

I’ve been to this place 3 times and had great service each time!! Tuan puts great detail into his work and takes time to make sure I walk out with the best nails possible. He’s also very funny and keeps great conversation. I get compliments all the time & where I got my nails done so I’ve recommended all my friends to go here. He also never rushes through my service because he makes sure the nails are good quality instead. I had grown tired of going to nail shops in town and being unhappy with my nails a week later but since I found VIP I can finally keep up its my nails. Everyone should feel like a VIP by going here :)

I was in town visiting my sister and she brought me and MY MIND WAS BLOWN. We asked for two full sets and two pedicures. It was around 5:30pm and he closed at 7 but was more than willing to stay late for us. He took his time, didn’t rush at all. Our nails look perfect and exactly how we envisioned them!❤️

Made an appointment for 5:30. I showed up at 5:21, no one greeted me until I had stood there for about five minutes. I was told if I didn’t have an appointment they wouldn’t help me, which I thought was quite rude to be the first thing they say. The waiting area seats are definitely not six feet apart so I waited until the women who was already sitting to move. By the time I got to sit in the waiting area, it was about 6:00. More women kept coming in and eventually they sat in waiting area too, which was quite crowded at this point. I finally decided to leave at 6:15 after waiting 45 minutes because more women came into the already small space. I didn’t say anything because you could tell they were busy but I’m definitely disappointed. Most other nail places are only allowing people to come into the building after calling and confirming employees are ready and I’ve never had to wait that long for something I booked in advance. Won’t be coming back.

I love VIP Nails! The shop is clean and they take their time on each customer. I recently broke a nail during a workout and they fixed it for me at no charge right before closing time! Highly recommend them for any nail service you might need.

I came in with a picture of what I wanted and he came up with an even better idea! My nails are so cute! And he suggested butterfly stickers which were a great touch that I’d never thought to get before. Great quality nails for the price you pay.

Love it here, I managed a nail salon for 3 years and I’m very picky. They are a fun, nice, family owned shop that does great work. My boyfriend comes in and gets a design to match my nails and I think it’s the coolest thing.

Tom, who does the acrylic, is the best I’ve found in Bloomington. Gets the right shape every time and lays the acrylic strong but not too thick. Very natural looking. I send all of my friends to him when they want acrylics. Not the best with appointments all the time but they take their time with each client. Highly recommend.

I made an appointment over a week in advance and it still took them 45 minutes after my appointment time to even start on my nails. then throughout the manicure they kept having me sit in the waiting area so they could work on other peoples nails, the outcome was the longest and crappiest manicure Ive ever gotten. Not worth the $45! Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Went in for my first acrylics. I was very impressed with how they looked and felt, and the price was very reasonable $48. The lady was very nice in helping me pick out a color. However, despite making an appointment I felt very rushed. But I would definitely go back because of the quality of my nails.

This is a great nail salon if you’re looking for walk-in service with a good outcome for the prices. They do great work and I’ve gone to them periodically over the years and the service has stayed very consistent.A major downside of this salon is that they DO take appointments, however, most of their business are walk-ins and therefore they are not great at prioritizing those that had a set appointment.The staff is very friendly and do great work, but I couldn’t give 5 stars as time management has consistently been an issue over the years.

WOW! I just splurged I’m getting my nails done today and I am in love 😍. My nail artist was so professional and meticulous with each step and my nails turned out better than I could have ever imagined!!! I am definitely coming back on Christmas break and after I graduate (I’m not allowed to have fake nails or polish in class, since it isn’t ServSafe). I cannot get over how good they look and feel. They aren’t too thick, which I’ve experienced at past nail salons with acrylic nails, but these are so even and beautiful 😍. They’re really taking steps to stay sanitized with the virus too. I am 100% satisfied with this visit and 100% recommend it to anyone! Wow! (Also they got me an appointment within 30 minutes of my call, so kudos to that too!) this was truly the best full set I’ve ever gotten!

I called this Nail Salon last minute and they were able to service me same day. This place was clean and the prices here are Amazing. I Scheduled a mani/pedi and the service was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and attentive as well as professional. The whole experience felt very personal. I went into VIP nails after having a negative experience at another nail salon in town. The negative experience involved not painting my nails neatly, the length being much longer than I liked, (despite my requests) telling me they could not get them any shorter, and several cuts to my cuticles. VIP nails listened to these concerns, got my nails down to the shape and length I requested, and did a very neat and clean job. My nails feel strong and look great! My first fill went equally as great and I will be returning for each fill. I also take my daughter with me for a gel manicure and they do a great job on her varying styles as well. Will recommend to others!
