We first used RCV to fix a roof leak identified during home inspection in 2019, which they handled quickly and professionally. Now, nearly two years later, a piece of fascia came partly loose during high winds - totally unrelated to the previous repair, to be clear. This would be a very easy job, except my roof is too steep for me to work on. After messaging several companies including RCV, a couple guys from RCV showed up today and took care of the problem, no charge. Nobody else even responded to my inquiries. I greatly appreciate them taking the time to fix this problem that seems like it would be too small to be worth most peoples time.

Ernie came out promptly to get us a quote when we called. We got on their schedule for the gutter cleaning. Our scheduled time was several weeks out, so we had to wait a bit, but Gil and Chase came out right on schedule and did a great job. Much appreciated since the roof is high and steep and cleaning these gutters is definitely a job for professionals.

We have hired RCV multiple times in the past, and scheduled a free estimate to have them evaluate a leak in our roof. As it tuned out, we only needed some caulking around a boot and the estimator took care of it for us, free of charge!! We initially replaced our roof and shutters. The inspection/estimate process was flawless. Estimates were emailed to us within 3 business days of the inspection. When we decided what work we wanted to proceed with we made an appointment, went to the office, picked out materials, and signed contracts. The gals in the office(we worked with Morgan) are knowledgeable and super helpful. They called the day before the work was done to let us know our roof work was going to be started. The roofers were able to replace the roof on our two story house in one day. Cleanup was great. One of our gutters was damaged in the process of replacing the roof and RCV put in a work order and fixed the damage immediately. Our shutter work is going to be done on Monday. We were billed separately for each service we had done( roof invoice, shutter invoice etc) and were able to make a bank transfer online! We couldn’t be happier with the quality of work or pricing.

I would highly recommend RCV to anyone considering roof or gutter replacement. They made the process easy from the very first call. I would give 5 stars for every part of the process - communication, answering questions, professionalism, quality, transparency, price and speed of installation. I requested many samples that were easily provided which helped with making shingle and gutter color selections. I had one small section of gutter that was particularly difficult through no fault of the team. RCV sent the gutter crew 3 times to make sure it was completely right. The gutter work weve had done was completed well, on the schedule indicated and communication was excellent. There was a small issue with the corrugated pipe we had added to extend our gutters away from the house. Even though this was probably due to a communication error on our part, RCV came back out quickly and made it right.

I had a leak in my roof and called RCV to tarp it. When the RCV employee arrived he insisted on caulking down loose shingles instead of tarping my roof. In the end, I paid $400 for caulking down loose shingles and he foisted on me a new pipe boot even when it wasnt related to the leak at all. The kicker is that they hardly caulked down any shingles and my roof continued to leak. I found dozens of loose shingles right over the spot of the leak. So in the end I paid $400 for an unnecessary pipe book and half a tube of caulk while my roof continually leaked for an entire month as RCV was working on it.Update: their owner called me after I left a complaint on Facebook. During the call he offered to refund me the $400, but a few days later in his reply to my Facebook message he switched the refund to a discount on future work. Normally, offering the discount indicates that the service was at fault. But apparently RCV refuses to take responsibility for their failed service unless they can still turn a profit from you. Suffice it to say, I will never hire them again.

RCV was recommended to me for a total roof replacement. My wife and I had done our own roofing in years past, but at 72 it didn’t seem prudent to tackle this job. The roofing crew (I believe there were 5-individuals) arrived on time and immediately got to the task at hand. They protected our flowers and shrubs and in just over one-hour had the roof down to bare decking/planking. This crew was like a well-oiled machine. Everyone was engaged in some aspect of the job. Except for a short lunch break around 2:00 pm, they didn’t stop until the new roof was complete. They picked up all the old roofing materials, did multiple sweeps for nails and wrapped the entire job up at dusk. The crew was cordial, friendly and accommodating. RCV will be back to hang new gutters in the coming weeks. If you have any sort of roofing, gutter, roof repair or insulation needs I would highly recommend RCV! They are definitely “Top Notch”!

RCV did a truly fabulous job. They appeared on schedule, removed the old roof and installed a new one in one day. In the meantime we needed them to replace a window ‘J Chanel’ above the Sunroom and they were excellent to work with and had very professional and courteous installers who did a fabulous job. There attitude while on our job confirmed that I had picked the right company do do the future work on our new Sunroom. The Sunroom is a gift to my wife who has pancreatic cancer in order to give her a bright future outlook. Their work gave her a stress-free day and put a smile on her face in that she knew they were doing the work correctly.

Be prepared to be patient during the pandemic as it took around eight weeks from the estimate to the actual installation day due to the accessibility/shortage of materials but as with anything, good things are worth waiting for. I would also like to add that the owner of the company gave me a courtesy call when the job was finished to make sure I was satisfied with the job and take care of any issues I might have had. We used RCV for a roof inspection and tune up on our 13 year old roof. Josh and Desmond patched a small hole, sealed nails, caulked needed openings. They pointed out and sealed areas they found beyond the initial inspection. They then cleaned and sealed leaky spots in the gutters. Second time Ive used RCV Roofing. First time was 2015 and this time was equally as awesome! So very easy to work with. I have a couple of rental properties that are over an hour away from me and because everyone at RCV is great at communicating quickly and effectively, the entire process was a breeze. We had a tree fall on the house, the insurance adjuster only caught damage on the back side. The roof was so old we went ahead and had entire roof replaced with insurance only planning to pay for the back half. As part of RCVs standard procedure they clearly documented with pictures the condition of roof before they replaced anything and advised in writing their thoughts on the damage that was definitely found to the front of roof. I was able to submit RCVs documentation to my adjuster to get the entire roof paid for AFTER the roof had already been replaced. Since I was never on site to view the damage myself, I was very thankful RCV did such a great job up front and all the way thru the entire process! Wouldnt use anyone else!

RCV did a great job after a tree fell on our roof in April. We utilized the emergency tarp service after the tree was removed and they came to put it up in the dark and the rain. The entire roof was replaced in one day and the gutters a couple of days later. RCV worked great with our home insurance company and our house looks even better than before we had the damage. I recently bought a home that desperately needed fascia, soffits and gutters. What was there was rotted and there were many areas that had none at all. I had two companies come out for an estimate. I believe the measure of a company is what they do when something goes wrong. I had some wind damage to my roof and I received bids from RCV and 2 other companies. As RCV was Veteran owned, I decided to have them perform the repair. I also replaced all of the siding on the house as well as soffit, facia and gutters.During the process, 16 square of the wrong color shingles were installed. They immediately called me and stated what had happened and that they would correct this issue on the following Monday. No harm no foul.The siding took longer than anticipated, but that was not their fault.The problem was when the gutters were removed and I ended up with water intrusion that actually got onto and into my electrical panel. They came out and did a temporary fix until gutters could be installed. They told me they would be out to replace the drywall that had gotten wet. On Monday January 4th, Ernie called me and told me they would have someone out the following day to have it fixed, told me he would call me in 30 minutes with a time. At 7:08 PM after no communication I texted Ernie and he then told me they would be there at 9:30 am the following day. I texted him at 10:30 am stating no one had been there. No one showed that day and no one called me. I had a person sit there all day for no one to show. As things do happen, I waited until the 20th of January then sent another message to RCV. I received a call stating I would hear from him by 9 am the following day. As of this review, I have not heard back from RCV. When things go great, they have some positive reviews, but in my case, where things went wrong, i have been pushed to the side and no communication is forth coming.***Updated 1/26/21***I received a call from one of the owners and they are working to inspect and if necessary repair what damage was done. If this changes, I will edit my post.
