Ive had this location tint 3 vehicles and all have turned out great. The staff is professional and have a ton of experience. Prices are great and the product quality is superb (no fading, even after several years of parking outside). I dont even bother shopping around anymore - every vehicle we get goes to Ziebart in Bloomington!

Have taken 3 cars here. scheduled to take a 4th this month. they do a fantastic job and have always honored any coupons or discounts for us since we are returning customers. quality work. better than another highly rated place which i wont name since my work does business with them. I had a window blown out and had to get it re done by the other place since it was an insurance claim and needed to be done at a certain time and the cut lines are noticeably uneven. all the other windows done by Ziebart are flawless though. highly recommend the Mpls location!

Recently got a nano ceramic film tint on my 2016 Corvette and I was very satisfied with their work! I decided to go with a 55% tint to avoid any possibility of having to deal with a fix-it ticket. I maybe could have went with a darker tint but this is what I ended up deciding to do. I would definitely recommend them for this kind of work and I would be likely to come back again for other detailing work possibly in the future.

Took My truck to get the windows tinted. They did a horrible job,cuts were unbelievable uneven cuts, Crooked didn’t tuck the tint film behind window gasket, they didn’t even clean after themselves dried up solution all over dash and door panels. And to top it all off they cracked my windshield. Don’t recommend this place! Price to good to be true guess you get what you pay for.

Had ceramic (they said will keep interior cooler) window tinting done and interior spray to protect the carpeting and mainly the white leather upholstery from spills and (I thought) from dyes from clothing (blue jeans). However, they mentioned after the work was done that the spray does not protect from dyes in blue jeans, so I should look into another type of seat cover for that. A bit disappointing as that was the primary reason I decided to get the spray put on, but that was my fault for not clarifying beforehand.They did instruct me to leave the car outside for several days so the small bubbles will work out from under the window tinting film (which I am doing). Wish this survey was requested after the “curing” process as I think it’s a bit premature to give them an accurate star rating. So far though, I am pleased. They had the car ready before I expected, so that was nice. Very pleasant and courteous staff.

Zibart did an awesome job on my window tint, highly recommended them to anybody, ken the store manger at the Bloomington mn store was easy to talk to and knew his stuff. Thanks Zibart and ken.

I would have given 5 stars but they complained about me not removing my spare tire but noone mentioned it to me when I made the appointment and they charge 100 bucks to do it for you. I also didnt know about having to come back every year to maintain the warranty and at 50 bucks each year it adds cost and the nuisance of having to remember to come back each year. They do coat everything even my Fox reservoir shocks which I didnt expect or want but part of that is on me for thinking they would already know that.

Friendly folks. I think Ziebart has the highest quality window film tints you can get and the price is quite fair. They reject heat and UV and look amazing. Much better than the factory junk. High quality install, no bubbles or issues. They have 6 or 7 different shades depending on how dark you want to go.

Very rude

Recommended by a friend, we are no longer friends.They installed the wrong remote start. I also bought the most expensive running boards they recommended. The step bars are rusting after 10k miles and squeak when stepped on. As time goes by I am more disappointed. I need recommendations on decent step bars. I will be replacing these that cost 800$. Incompetent. Don’t let them touch your car.

I went in for an interior detail service. Upon original inspection I was satisfied, but after taking my vehicle home and getting a closer look I am not happy with the results at all. Could have done a much better job myself, and will next time. Never taking my vehicle here ever again.

Really good experience. Truck looks great. I did a visual inspection of the undercoating and it looked like a very solid job. Interior looks like new. Ken, the store manager was very easy to work with and did a great job of explaining everything to me.

We brought our recently purchased 2006 GMC truck from Arizona to have it rustproofed here and they did an outstanding job.

Good place to get the undercarriage rust coated. Unfortunately they don’t offer warranty for old vehicles. Prices are little bit high though.

Great place and great prices, ended up getting my truck tinted, I wanted 10% but the lowest they had was 23 and then limo which is 5. I went with the limo up front and the 23 on the back since the back was factory and I’d say it looks great, can already fee a major difference in tempurature. They close at 5:30 but I was caught in rush hour so they waited for me. All in all awesome service and great job will definitely be back to this location again .

Thanks to Terry and his team for an excellent job with our most recent scheduled maintenance. The 2012 van looks like new. We have been using Bloomingtons Ziebart since 1997 when they first serviced our new Honda Accord. We did the annual service for about 12 years. I had a remote starter installed in my car. The price was very decent. They did a great job, it works great! I no longer have to drive in a cold car.I will say it was a challenge to get in, as they are not open on weekends, and I work normal business hours... but these guys did a good job working with me on that.While on the phone with them they were short at times, and didnt take time to ask about my day and such. I think that is what most people want when they think of customer service. If you want that, go to a place with a receptionist that will listen to your problems. If you want a place that does awesome and timely work, go here.

Ziebart has done good work on my car now for almost 10 years. Ive gotten the under body protection, diamond gloss paint protection, and interior fabric protection. (I also usually schedule an annual detailing.) They regularly do good work. In particular, I recommend Terry; hes always been very helpful.

I took my new Camry in to have it rustproofed. Terry took the time to explain everything that went into the process of protecting my car. He was very courteous and helpful. Ziebarts preformed an amazing job on both my vehicles. Ive smoked for over 30 years and have finally quit for good. Both vehicles smell like a brand new car and mini van. NO smoke smell at all! Outstanding price, and quality workmanship! Undercoating is messy and hard to apply is a neat manner. These guys coated my new truck everywhere you could put undercoating, and did not leave a spec of undercoating on the truck? These guys are pros, you will not be disappointed especially when you get the cost of the rust proofing and undercoating back when you sell your car or truck for more money, because its not a rusted out pile!

I have taken my car here twice to get window tinting. The gentleman that deals with the customers should learn to have little bit more people skills.

We had our Toyota Sienna van undercoated with Ziebart sound barrier. It was completed as scheduled and the van was returned washed and no sign of any messy over spray. It has made the van quieter for road noise and feels more solid over bumps. We consider it money well spent.

I stopped in here to ask about getting my Cobalts rear window tinted to match the sides as well as a windshield tint strip. The customer service was a joke. I had to pry prices out of the guy and practically beg for a date for when it could be done. I was looking to get a time where I could have it done while I was at work. I also tried to ask about getting my Truck windows done also and I had eyes rolled at me. After going home and thinking about the poor customer service I realized that probably shows the quality of their work also. So I called to cancel my appt. and got that same terrible attitude on the phone.I’ve been told this company has other locations with good staff so I may give one of them a try.

Our old back up car has Ziebart window tinting and the ceramic pearl paint protectant on it from about 8 or nine years ago. The tint is still perfect, and the old girl still shines! Today I was back after all these years to have a bad tint job (previous owner) removed, and new tint applied. The experience was still the same, it was perfect! Theyve earned my business (and dollars) with great customer service and quality products. Next, my wifes car is coming in to this shop for window tint, the ceramic paint finish, and an installed remote start. I like this place alot.

Same price as anywhere else but better costumer service anywhere else. Visible bubbles all over my tint is normal yea ok! Then I have to live with it for over a month because thats when your next available appointment is. But when I called to get it done in the first place you had all sorts of openings. You have been warned dont give this place your business. Or end up like me and paying for window tint twice. Having to come back and forth they dont care about your time. Ripped it off and had it done elsewhere.

When I buy a Toyota 4Runner, I expect to get over 20 years and 300,000 miles out of it. I cringe when I see 10 year old cars with rust. Ziebart from Bloomington, MN has been great to work with!

Im happy with the diamond gloss wax and undercoating spray on my 2016 F150. There is no point in purchasing the factory wheel well liner upgrade when you can get the entire underside undercoated (including wheel wells) for less money than the liners. I shouldnt need that undercoating according to many, but name a state that uses more road salt than MN. Ill definitely be visiting Ziebart in Bloomington every fall for the life of this vehicle. One thing I didnt know prior to having the undercoating is that I should not properly stow my spare tire for 1 month. This is a bit of a inconvenience when it comes to the use of my bed, but not the end of the world. Minus one star for not mentioning this up front. (Would be a half star, but thats not an option.)

I brought my 2013 Subrau Crosstrek in from some tinting Teri and the Boys did a great job explaining everything to me and they did it in a timely matter. Im very happy with them and the work they did, they also replaced the windshield a few weeks later due to chip that turned into a huge crack and pointed out some faults from the other window installer. I delivered my truck at the time they requested and within minutes I saw my car going around the corner to be worked on. The people were really nice, the service was efficient. Ive had Ziebart applied to every car Ive had since 1989, and Ive never had any rust, and I live in Minnesota, so thats good, right? This time, I also had a sound deadener applied, and I must say that it really smelled pretty bad for a whole week, but it is beginning to abate. No more new car smell, just a kind of petroleum something. Yet, Im hoping that the sound deadener is as good as the rust prevention has been in the past.

Been over a year since I showed up to pick up my truck that I had undercoated. They neglected to cover up my chrome exhaust tips before they sprayed. Im still upset that I actually payed them. Im still trying to resurrect the chrome. Complete carelessness on their part.

I have a 2016 camry I took it to Bloomington location. I wanted 7 windows done. When I got back my car and looked at the windows 6 day later after the bubbles left. I need to have 5 windows redone. My drivers door have the flim cut short hair in another one tint rolled up on my back window. When I talked to John about it he said my drivers window is sloppy and cant do nothing about it. He will only do 3 of the 5 windows. That doesnt work for me.i wanted my money back.so they took the tint off and gave me back my money. I took my car to a real tint shop they came in $70 cheaper and my drivers window was done perfectly with all of the other windows.

Pricing what I expected easy to schedule and quick turnaround very satisfied.

So, I called on Monday to set up an appointment for me and two of my friends to have our vehicles tinted. We all wanted to do it at the same time to car-pool each other and also to see if we could get a discount. Ziebarts gave us a discount which was really actually the full price. The appointment was for Thursday, we were all set. I called back to on Tuesday to make sure we could get all 3 cars done in one day, or how we needed to arrange to pick up and drop off the cars. I was told that we might not be able to the third vehicle on Thursday, but I should call back Thursday morning to check on the schedule. Ziebarts opens at 7:45am, I called at 7:46am. The guy proceeded to tell me that they couldnt tint any of our vehicles that day. But that they might be able to help us next week. Regardless of whether or not we were going to be able to do it next week (we couldnt and have decided to go elsewhere), what the hell is this, a Seinfeld episode? How are you taking a reservation and not keeping it? How are you telling me to call the day of our appointment? What is this? I hope you are reading this Terry, you just missed out on $600 and countless referrals. And now you have a poor review on Google.

I don’t know how did you guys define the word quality at your shop, but I say what I see. It was really cheap. How you going to charged someone 390 some bucks and just put some thin coat of rust protection here and there and there were even some spot missing that didn’t even touch any rubberized (coat)? Disappointed!!!

The worst ever. This place is not recommended. I got the undercoating done on my vehicle, the spray was all over when I got home to look it over. The guys working in back looked rushed or just didnt care. And the front desk guy Terry is the rudest person I have ever met for someone running a business. Dont ask to have anything fixed, or blame his guys for doing crappy work, thats when Terry gets rude with you and basically walks out on you. Good way to turn people away... will never be back.

I had rustproofing done on my 97 Silverado (which includes undercoating).John the (Manager?) did the work and took my order and was very nice.They did a good job overall but initially could not remove the spare tire from under the truck bed because of a broken/missing crank pin and an installed spare tire lock.They put a temp pin (broken screw) in and tried to remove it. They told me about the situation, that they didnt have the key for the lock and/or did not/would not look for it. The key was noticeably visible inside the spare tire/jack assy. compartment under the rear seat in which they should have accessed to remove the tire itself. They told me to come back so they can complete the coating under/above the spare.By the time I got home, the lock was no longer on the tire and could not be found (It had not been removed for 15 years so it shouldnt/wont just fall off). They (Terry - Front Desk Guy?) seemed to indicate it was my fault, and was not very cordial, since he showed me it briefly. So now I dont have a lock on it.John did complete the job when I returned it to them (I live about 40 miles away so this was quite inconvenient let alone the cost of the extra fuel.Besides all that the truck now looks like its ready for the winter abuse.

I had the interior of my VW Golf detailed, and am I impressed! The car came in with YEARS of built-up grime, dust, and dirt in almost every nook and/or cranny imaginable. When we picked up the car, the interior looked almost brand new. This is quite a feat considering this car is over 10 years old, has had few (if any) deep cleanings over the years, and is put through heavy use. I was impressed with the professionalism they have, I am extremely impressed with Ziebart of Bloomington (this coming from someone who is NOT a car person), and highly recommending them to others who are just sick of all of the built-up grime in their everyday vehicles. I had no idea what a good value it is to have ones car detailed every-so-often. Im a convert. Excellent work and customer service.

Flat out rudeness and bad customer service. Came in to have a window re-tinted after my car was broken into. I will say I was slightly late, but when I made the appointment it was discussed as more of a ballpark time. Guy was rude the entire time I was in there. Annoyed that I hadnt gone through them to fix window glass (they couldnt accommodate doing it and I needed a window), annoyed about going through insurance. At first he said Id have to get reimbursed after paying for it myself, but that changed after talking to my rep.When I said I wanted to wait while it was done (which was what I discussed on the phone), he told me it would take 1.5 to 2 hours, which wasnt what the person Id spoken with before said (1/2 hour to 45 mins). His response: You expect to show up a half hour late and walk right in? This isnt McDonalds.There is a better way to handle this. If my being a little late meant that they could no longer fit me in the time frame wed discussed, I would understand. He could have said, Im sorry sir, it looks like this appointment will no longer work. Can you reschedule? OR We had you booked for a little earlier, but let me see what I can do. (and then actually blown me away with great customer service) There were no other customers in the waiting room. I had one rear side window to get tinted...Needless to say Ill be going elsewhere for this repair and anything like it in the future

Best service ever and quality work @ a reasonable price

I brought my 2014 Toyota camry in for window tinting. I was hesistant to bring it in at first but I thought I would give it a try since it was $199 bucks. My windows got tinted, a week passes by I start to see bubbles, so I bring it in to see terry the shop manager there. he goes oh its not dry yet, the bubbles will disappear in a week. I waited about two weeks, more bubbles popped up and the tint at this point is starting to look like an amateur did work on it. I stopped by again to visit terry. I told him the tint is bubbling and it does not look good, he starts to get defensive and trying to explain to me that its minor bubbles and that it could be debris. Ive had many cars tinted at many places and minor bubbles or any bubbles at all would be no good. Terry at this point was rude and basically doesnt even listen to what the problem is. Obviously theres a problem if I am back to show you the bubbles!!! terry then proceeds to go schedule me another day to bring it in to get the problem fixed half heartedly! I called him later to cancel it as I am going to take the lost and get the tint removed and redone correctly somewhere else. One month the tint is on my car and I am removing it so 199 bucks down the drain. I hope whomever is thinking of tinting or doing business here to really think twice! just imagine, I brought my car over and it was in one months time and terry is already acting like a jerk, imagine if you are guaranteed whatever warranty on the product. lets say you go back there, he will definitely give you the wrap around. Please!!!! do not do business here and bring it to a legit shop and get it done with quality even if it costs more. I was not treated with respect, they can have my 199 bucks lesson learned but for a business to take my $ and not even see it from the customers point of view was what confuses me. I hope this review helps! 1 star is too high, zero stars ..Time has passed since Ive done business here. I still cant believe this place is still getting business.
