I rented one of the 1 bedroom apartments at Woodlawn for a few years during Grad school. The amount of space was just right for me. The building was quiet, maintenance was quick, and I feel the price was fair. I would rent from Abodes again if Im ever back in Bloomington.

My husband and I lived here for 3 years while in grad school. We first moved into a two-bedroom flat, and then when we decided got a large dog needed that needed more space, we couldnt bring ourselves to leave the complex- so we moved across the parking lot into a townhouse! The location is perfect, as it is quiet and out of the way, but still an easy 20 min walk or short drive to campus. We were also really impressed with the management and maitenance team. Any time the occasional issue arose, the maintainance guys came within a couple days after we submitted a service request (once they showed up within just a couple hours). They were always professional and friendly, and even brought treats for our dog. The leasing team was equally friendly and made our moves easy. We wish we couldve stayed in Bloomington longer and were sad to leave this complex!
