I made an appointment for my child, arrived to appointment only to be told that there would be a 20 minute wait. No reason or explanation was given when I reminded the employee of the appointment that I had made over the phone. 40 minutes later the haircut began.Im not sure what the point of making an appointment is if Im not being given priority over the Walk-ins.Now on to the real reason for this review. We have previously been happy and our child enjoys the haircuts they have received here. They have wavy hair that appears straight when wet. So its difficult to find a hair specialist that takes care to verify length, prior to cutting.As was our issue today. My child spent the entire ride home in tears, from a haircut they were expecting to take with them to first day of school. A mullet should not have been so easy to mess up. The length they had grown over the last year and a half wasted.The employee was shown a picture of the desired haircut, one specifically picked to ensure the most length would be kept in the back. Once shown the picture she began to converse again with the other stylist on shift. That normally wouldnt be a problem if verification of specifics in regards to the services we pay your employees to perform. These simple customer satisfaction failures are the reason for my low star review.One of the smoothest aspects of this visit was the refund process. The employee was nice enough to issue a full refund, Im not sure if it was a manager or a supervisor who helped seriously diffuse a situation. The employee who cut the hair was quick to help grab the cash from the register to hand it to me. Obviously upset that the work she did was not appreciated.I do look forward to returning with a more specific list of concerns and ensuring that the same employee does not have the same opportunity again.

I’m so disappointed in my daughters first haircut. It’s completely uneven! When we first walked in we weren’t asked how we wanted her hair to be cut. The stylist did not listen to me nor asked what I wanted. She also was not personable. She couldn’t relate to myself or my daughter. I’m so throughly disappointed in this experience I started crying when we left. It was a waste of money and I will not be going back. I would not recommend this place. I got the worst haircut that I have ever had by the polish lady at this location. I requested simple fade haircut, and instead she shaved it short all the way up to my hairline, that it now looks like I have a toupee. Im going to have to call in sick to work for at least the next week (if not longer until my hair grows back) because of how terrible it looks. If I show up to the office that I work in with this haircut, I could lose my job because of how unprofessional it looks. Am I going to be compensated for the effect of this terrible haircut (not being able to go to work)? No. I just have to deal with it, while the polish lady at this location will not have to deal with any consequences from how terrible this haircut is. If you value your hair not being made to look completely unpresentable, do not go to this location.

Used to love this salon, came here exclusively for Vicky!! She’s great however, hasn’t been back. Came in this afternoon for an APPOINTMENT and was told that she didn’t have time to do my conditioning treatment which was scheduled prior to me coming in. I left my scheduled appointment with no services done. Time for a new salon!

Vickie helped me take a brave step and highlight my hair Rocket Red and it came out SO great! First time I colored my hair this color. She’s so cheerful and fun and made the experience great! So grateful! Thank you!!

Have gone here for several years, and consistently revised good service and haircuts. Vickie Armstrong in particular always does a great job and is always sure to be friendly.

My wife and I have both been going to Vicki for several years. When we moved out of the area, and to Lake Zurich, we both still travel all that way to go see Vicki. She has been the best around, and I have not ever found anyone comparable to her skills. My wife did go to one of those expensive salons where she worked once out of convenience. The person that did her hair was absolutely terrible. We even took her back to Vicki to fix what she could from the damage the other person caused. We have not gone to anyone else since and it is still worth the long drive.

I didnt even get my haircut. I waited 20 mins with only 1 other person in front of me when it said there was no wait online. The hairdressers didnt have any sense of urgency and seemed much more interested talking so I left 🤷🏻‍♀️

Terrible cut and customer service. I requested my child’s hair to be cut to shoulder length without layers. It was cut to her chin and layered shorter up to the front. I told the stylist it was way too short and not what I asked for. She made no apology or any attempt to make issue any better. She simple said “that’s what she wanted.” We waited over 45 minutes, were told we were next and other customers went ahead of us, stylists were taking selfies while cutting hair, and 3 of the 4 stylists disappeared to the back room for ten minutes when another worker brought on treats. UNACCEPTABLE.

We have been taking my son to supercuts for a couple of years now. Havent been unhappy until our last few visits. But today we saw Tanya. She cut my 6 year olds hair in 5 min, continuing to demand he sit still and stop moving. He didnt even move that much and was completely calm and quiet. When we were done we noticed his ear was bleeding. She didnt say a word to us (even though she was standing right there waiting to check us out) and I had to request a kleenex to clean the blood. She was SUPER impatient and unprofessional. That will be our last visit.

Worse place to be. I went there 2 weeks ago Renata did my high lights she has no clue what she was doing she was keep asking other girl how do add color. She damaged my hair and said Rosy is very unorganized she didnt put down what color she used for you on your card. Come back next week. I went today Rosy saw my damaged hair and refused to touch my hair and started cross questioning me. With her ugly tan face she said I dont know how to fix this. This place is awful. Owner should fire this employees or close the place.

The haircut depends on the barber you get they do have some good barbers and some are really bad but to my luck whenever i went there they were either off or not available so i had to be satisfied with whoever was available.
