At first I thought the haircut was going good. Asked for a basic fade and some lining up. The fade on the back of my head is NOT blended and left a clear line across the center, and the line up job in the front was done with scissors. Never again.

Took my kid for a haircut. The fees was $22 for a haircut + plus hair wash. My kid declined for hair wash and I gave my credit card to be charged $25 which included tip. Just saw on my credit statement Teresa charged me $45! Never going back.

I had an appointment for hair styling for my wedding that was at 10amI made an appointment at 9am and received a call at 8:55am that my appointment is canceled because a stylist is “sick” and there was nothing they could do for me. Absolutely terrible.

Want to get in on Saturday!? You won’t. Park and wait til open just to find out you basically can ONLY make appointment by phone, making their whole website absolutely useless. If you want a availability sooner than mid day on Saturday you have to call Friday. Which of course make next to no sense but that’s lady janes for you

These people dont clean their clippers. I got a haircut here, and woke up 2 days later with a bacterial infection on my scalp. The infection is within my hairline, and only in areas where clippers were used. Never coming back, always ask if whatever they are using is clean.

Viviana is so far my best stylist. Ive been to over 20 stylists and no one can ever get my haircut right. Viviana is quick, she knows what shes doing, and simplifies everything. Shes by far the best.For newcomers: wait time sucks honestly. They are always packed so you have to set an appointment. This isnt sports clip. Just set an appointment for the day after and youll be fine.

I get my hair cut at the Bloomingdale location with Mia! Gotta tell you, best service Ive experienced so far. You walk in the door to sign in and she notices and greets you with her beautiful smile of hers. Always professional and attentive to detail. So talented that I dont ask for a hair cut, I just tell her Do Your Thang. Walk out of there feeling like new every time. You have to go visit Mia!

Three stylists outside in back, zero customers, claimed they are fully booked for the day and wouldnt cut my hair. Checked three places nearby and they all have immediate walk-ins available, seems curious they are the only busy place on the area. This place has no interest in getting business. She was kind of rude about it too. Even if they are that busy, then it is a management probl if there arent enough stylists all day Saturday for a walk in. Been here dozens of times and not the first time with a bad experience. Im done going out of my way for this place. Go somewhere else where they appreciate business. Buh-by, mistress Jane!

I just walked into Bloomingdale Lady Janes at 11:20 on Sunday with my son. The store has a huge sign in the window stating “walk in anytime “. As soon as we walked in we were told that they aren’t taking walk-ins because they are booked all day.This has been a walk in shop since I started coming 10 years ago (I live out of state but I’m here regularly ). I had been going there for years and this store has progressively gotten worse and worse. I’m not sure if the management or ownership is at fault but I obviously don’t learn my lesson because I keep giving them a shot. I’m finally done. WALK IN ANYTIME apparently needs to be taken off the window.There was 1 person in the waiting room, maybe ownership is okay with turning away 2 customers?!

If you find a stylist that you like and can book around their schedule, youll be in good hands. Its a very clean salon and the staff are very nice. They seem to have new faces most times I visit and are often quite busy so the wait times can be longer, especially if you have a preferred stylist.

Price is good, girls cutting are nice, but for whatever reason my haircuts here the past 3 times have been lacking. Specifically symmetry and scissor work are where I find myself most unhappy. Ive gone back bc its close, timings are good, and its very affordable, even with a shampoo. Go if you need the cut and have simple requests, avoid if you have an important event coming up. That said, haircuts are super subjective things, so take it with a grain of salt.

Watch out for Mia, she is quite rude. When you arrive, please, ask for the price of your service before rendered. Mia tried to charge me $12.00 for trimming the side and back of my hair. I have been 5 times over the last 6 months and paid $7.00 for my trim. This was my first encounter with Mia, quite rude in trying to prove that I am wrong. Yet, it is myself who has been paying $7.00 for 6 months. Do not find yourself swindled by this woman. GO across the street to sport clips for a $5.00 or FREE side of the hair trim.

Went here today with my boyfriend and almost 2 year old son. They charge the same price for the toddler as an adult. Both haircuts were horrible. My sons is uneven in the front and I had to ask her twice to go shorter after she barely chipped away at it and it looked no shorter. Its still touching his ears on the sides. (He is an excellent toddler and sits perfectly still for haircuts and they even commented on how good he is, so its not like he wasnt sitting still and couldnt cut well)My boyfriends hair wasnt shortened in back and she didnt do any clippers in back to the neckline. The clippers around his ears look like a 3 year old did it. He also had to ask his stylist (they had different stylists so it wasnt just one bad stylist) several times to fix this and that, until we eventually just paid and left. We will NOT be going back! We usually go to sportsclips and they were closed today so though lady Janes would be acceptable and it definitely was NOT.

A lot of reviews complain about not being able to keep a reservation. Ive never had an issue with keeping my reservations. I show up when Im supposed to have my appointment and Im taken care of. You have to find the girl that cuts your hair how you like it, theyre all talented women but each has their own touch. I recommend Jennifer or Jessica, but I also think its beneficial to try different women. Its the only place I go now in the area. $17 for a quality hair cut.

Lady janes is always kept super clean and the staff are always very restpectful. This is a very welcoming environment with very good positive energy. I get my hair cut every 4 weeks and I always go to Mia. She is so talented and gives me the perfect cut every single time! She is also incredibly gentle when she waxes my eyebrows and does the most precise job!

Theyre good. Just dont show up without an appointment. Theyll make you feel unwelcome.

The stylist I set an appointment with was too busy socalizing for 8 min at the front counter when I was up next, then calls my name to tell me theres someone that she has to take before me after Ive waited for 20 already. I ended up just walking out and going to Sportsclips. This was my first time here and Ill never go there again.

Absolutely terrible. Poor communication from the staff and the check in machine they use at the counter. Walked in and went to the counter where the computer was to check in. Showed 3 workers working today and everyone only had 1 person waiting . So here I thought OK itll only be 15/20 min wait. Turns out after I sat down for 15 mins and no one has greeted me or told me how long of a wait people are continuing to walk-in because they made a phone appointment. Needless to say after waiting for 45 mins finally someone came up and goes sorry but it looks like it will be an hour and a half to 2 hours until Ill be next. Absolutely BS. When I asked any of the girls working today they kept saying youre next youre next but yet the people who made the phone in reservations skipped over me. To fix this issue next time maybe update your check in machine to show that there are appointments waiting or scheduled. Wont be returning here.

The lady who cut my hair was incompetent. Asked for a trim and recieved a buzz cut with the front of my hair still uncut, a spike. To sum up my experience, this was an even mediocre version of sports clips. DO NOT WASTE YOUR $ here!!!

This place just keeps going down hill. Raise the prices for a below average haircut that I can go to cost cutters for. I won’t be coming back here anymore. Time to find a real barber. Multiple times now that my appointment has been messed up and can’t have a reliable person cut my hair.

They cant keep appointments !!!I made an appointment for 12:30 today . The called me at 12:52. I asked them why I was being called so late. I got a standard response so I asked to speak to the manager and she said they accidentally took someone before me. I asked her what the point of making an appointment is if Im going to wait over 20 minutes .I told them that I will be taking my business elsewhere!!
