Extremely nice and knowledgeable people here. I was told exactly what the problem was with my car and it was repaired in no time. The prices are fair to the repairs and they are completely transparent about what is being charged. A 10/10 place for me and I would definitely recommend this place anytime you need small repairs or tires done.

Jacob and Matt are the best, they will never misguide you or overcharge you. They will exactly tell you when a part might wear out or whether your car requires a service or not. Their charges are reasonable, and service is awesome. They are pretty good at their job and I highly recommend them.

One happy customer. Andrew was very prompt and courteous diagnosing and fixing my car because it was pretty simple resolution by reconnecting an undone connection. In addition, he topped off the necessary liquid and didnt even charge for anything. I am will be coming back here if there is any need for car repair or recommending to my friends.

I feel they are crafty and overpriced. I had a tire leaking and go to this shop. After giving the car to the staff, I was sitting in the waiting room for about 45 minutes. Then they told me it was done. They didnt tell me the problem, repair solution and price before the check out, they didnt discuss with me and ask my consent to repair. When its done, they charged me $25. I had to accept their high price and I felt dissatisfied. I dont recommend this shop.

DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!This was the worst place for customer service and car service. My car was towed here after not starting and as soon as I walked in they recommended a new battery without looking at the car. I questioned whether or not they should check and they acted like it wasnt a big deal but ended up looking anyways. In general, the atmosphere at this place was not welcoming, unprofessional, and very condescending.2 weeks after they replaced my battery with a “new” battery, it did not start again. I assumed it was a problem with my alternator or started since I had my battery replaced two weeks ago. Due to my horrible experience, I decided to go to new local shop. After inspection, the mechanic said that the alternator and starter were fine and the problem was the battery. When I told him that I got a new battery two weeks ago, he was shocked. However, when I told him where I got it from he wasn’t shocked at all. He even told me that they act “funny” down there and that it 100% wasnt a new battery. So he recommended that I go back and get it replaced for free.After jumpstarting my car for the third time that day I went back to M&M. Similarly to my previous experience, I was greeted by unfriendly faces and was told that it was a new battery. They tried to make me feel like I was wrong to the point where I called the other shop to prove what I was saying was true. They reluctantly changed the battery and claimed that they replaced a new battery with a new battery. This was all unnecessary and I did not need that attitude after paying the overcharged price for a battery replace that failed two weeks later.I strongly believe that this place hires dishonest, condescending, unprofessional, lazy, and unfriendly people whose only goal is to profit at the expense of their customers.

Over the years, I have taken several of my vehicles to M&M for new tires and miscellaneous service items and I have walked away impressed each and every time; these guys are top notch! M&M performs high quality work with attention to detail that you really cant find anywhere else. Pricing was also very fair and reasonable, so truly a great value proposition. I certainly recommend M&M!

They do good work and can fit your car into the schedule well. I would reccomend getting parts from online and having them install them because they do have a super steep mark up on standard and cheap parts. Inspection was standard and completely fine.

My husband and I have been going to this family owned business for 30 years. Very trust worthy people. They will not sell you something you do not need. They stand behind their repairs. I would not take my car anywhere else. Dealing with a family owned business you get great customer service because they depend on repeat business and really care that you are satisfied. Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Never hand any problems.

Awesome place, out of the places I’ve been for an oil change in Blacksburg this by far had the best service and pricing. They didn’t try to nickel and dime me for any superficial work like many oil change places do and saw me without an appointment. The staff were very friendly and answered all my questions - would definitely recommend and I plan on returning for any further maintenance I need done while in the area.

Like Mr. Kruger, I am a long time customer and will be going somewhere else. The owner is brash and full of himself. Prices have gotten noticeably higher and quality of work has gone downhill. The people used to be what set them apart, but not the case anymore. Much better places to pick from in town.

This place is great. Ive been here twice and both times I was impressed. They are very trustworthy and efficient. I accidentally missed an appointment for an oil change, but they got me in the next day despite my mistake and had me out of there in 20 minutes after when I arrived!

Unfortunately, this location had gone from a 5 star to single star, and I would go lower if possible. I cannot recommend them any longer as an honest and reputable location. And thats a shame because they were who we would go to when I could not work on the cars.My wife brought our vehicle in for inspection and it was failed for low brake pads and rotor. She explained to the tech and owner that my brother and I had just replaced and checked all the pads not one month prior, that we would not have missed it since we had already purchased all the necessary parts, and my brother is a licensed mechanic. Was the tech sure that they needed to be done?The mechanic A.B. insisted. She called me, and explained the situation. I called and spoke with AB, he again was adamant, explaining that he used a gage to measure.I let him know that I would be inspecting this again, and believed he may be in error. When I had looked at it not more than a month ago approx 1/4 remained on the pads for both rear wheels. He was insistent that we needed new pads - that it was required immediately. There was less than 2/32 needed for VA inspection.Not that it was recommended, it was required.I took off the wheel he failed us for and there was nearly 1/4 inch of pad remaining - this is well above not only the minimum required for inspection, but also above the limit at which it is generally accepted and ethical to recommend changing the pads in VA.When I went in today, the owner and mechanics were both rude. When shown to be caught in a lie, tried to change the story that they were only recommending. I reminded them that on the phone I was failed for inspection, and told it was required in order to pass. He threw some explicit in for good measure. After all this the owner still insisted on backing up his mechanic. Dont go here.

Honest people, they look for your best interest!

We have been taking our vehicles to M and M tire for a few years. If they dont know how to fix it, they will find the shop that does. Honest and reliable, cant ask for much more from your auto mechanic.

Our car had a recent fix back home that just happened to have a defective part. Within a week of being in Blacksburg, the part failed. I called M&M Tire and Auto, and they were very helpful and coordinated with the shop back home to get the repair taken care of. It was a wonderful experience, M&M were reassuring and professional throughout the repair, even reassuring us that the previous shop had done good work. This is the first time we have had to deal with having a car repaired with us far away, and it went very well.

South main auto managed to forget to tighten down my tie rod when they did steering alignment. I took it here afterwards, and they quickly found the problem while charging me nothing. I wont make this mistake again. The owner and employees at M&M Tire are also much nicer and down to earth. Everyone should take their car here. Great Service!

I just moved to the area and everyone I talked to recommended M&M Tire. After taking my car there, I can see why. They are honest, worked me in to their schedule first thing in the morning, and walked me through a few features my car has that I didnt know about.I will definitely be taking my car to M&M for all my future needs.Update: Ive been taking my car and my wifes car here for years now. Always been treated right and Ive never had an issue with any of the work.

I had an issue with a set of 15x10 billet specialties street-lites/MickeyThompson drag radials sent to my house pre-mounted/balanced (one of the wheels had been damaged when mounted by summit-racing). I came in wanting them to pull the tire off of one of the wheels and mount it on a new un-damaged wheel. I expressed my concerns about the mounting of the wheel (they are easy to damage being an aluminum 2-piece race wheel) and they listened/got it all done with no issues. The price was cheap, I was in and out of there in under 15 minutes, and everyone there was knowledgeable and courteous.

Got a routine oil change at another place and the car started sounding strange. Brought it to M&M and upon hearing about the problem, the guy (sorry, terrible with names) immediately guessed the oil filter cap might have been left off. Sure enough, he pops open the hood and not only did the other place forget to screw the cap back on, they even left their pliers (under hood near windshield)! He double checked everything, wiped off some oil thats spilled out, and refused to accept payment! This is my go to place from now on.

Went here today for the first time. Mechanics were professional and looked knowledgeable, service was prompt. They are also VERY kind people. Honestly I wasnt expecting much but I was actually impressed. I dont think Ill look anywhere else when my car needs maintanence.

Fine if you have an older vehicle, but anything within 5-7 years old, they struggle with. Lots of turnover in the mechanic department. Used to be a great place to go when the father ran the business, but now that hes retired, its getting milked for money.

Got an alignment done for my girlfriends car. Took it to a more reliable shop to have my oil changed and tires rotated only to be told that the alignment wasnt done and my tires were dragging and being ruined.

Ms auto said my car need to change a lot of things, but I have just got my car. So I went to this place. And they are really nice! They checked those I mentioned and told me my car could not be better. They provide me with a report and didnt charge me anything. I would strongly recommend this place.

Ive used them multiple times, usually without making a prior appointment. Theyre great about fitting people in and dont overcharge or do any additional unnecessary maintenance. Its obvious they care for the customer and want to provide a safe vehicle for the best price.

Well if you cant tell from all of the other comments, this place is simply great. Its so hard to find quality automotive repair but this place is it! Super nice people and knowledgable. Once they worked with me for 20-25 mins helping me identify a problem and didnt even charge me. Highly recommend them.

1.0 star rating 7/10/2017Dishonest and Overpriced! I have been going to these guys for years, even stuck up for them when I had heard bad things from other people. Then I went in for an inspection and they tried to charge me 220 dollars to fix a third brake light, saying the part cost 120 dollars and it required 100 dollars of labor to put in. The part cost 80 new from the dealer and 40 online. I was able to put it in later with no tools in under 5 minutes. When I called them out on this they admitted the part was cheaper and just snapped in, but didnt apologize or admit any wrong-doing. Their whole demeanor changed and they got really sketchy. Either these guys were willfully and dramatically overcharging long-time customers (lying and cheating), or they dont know how to price parts and require hours to snap in a third brake light (bad mechanics). Either way, I would avoid. Since Ive been telling people Ive heard lots of other stories, particularly that it used to be a reliable place but has gone downhill in the last few years.

Outstanding service and prices. After trying a few other places and getting recommendations from friends, we settled and have been happy with M&M Tire.
