I absolutely love this place. I can’t imagine a better waxing studio. I was here a couple days ago getting my first Brazilian and underarm wax; I was so nervous but Maria was excellent. I definitely would recommend her to any and everybody. She made sure I was comfortable. The atmosphere is superb, it smells delightful in the studio, very professional and friendly. Surprisingly easy to get it. I made my appointment for a Friday on a Wednesday. Very impressed; so thankful I was able to get it.

The staff makes you fell comfortable and they are friendly! Both locations are beautiful and smells great! They have wonderful items like lotion, lip balm, scrubs etc to purchase. I love the cleanliness, professionalism, and set up for this place. I had a bikini wax done by Jess, and she is very polite and easy when it comes to waxing. She was fast and thorough as well. In addition, the salon reminds me of the beach. Would come here again whenever I have the chance.

The best waxing place in town. It really doesnt matter which technician you use because they are all excellent. The lobby is pleasant, smells good with relaxing music and the staff is always friendly. Consistency is the key to a good wax and Georgis has perfected the art. The technicians are respectful of your privacy and the waxing rooms are clean and neat. Grab a cup of tea and a mint on the way out after your wax.

Georgis is the first and only place Ive ever gotten waxed at. My first time was 3 days before my wedding. I was stressed, pressed for time, and I didnt have an appointment. When I called they fit me into a cancellation spot with Lilia that same day. She made my first time a smooth experience, which put me at ease. That was 4 years ago, I still see Lilia and my experience is still wonderful every time. Like Im visiting a friend to catch up! (Also they have a newbie discount, you just have to mention your new!) They are always pretty busy so make sure you call ahead and make an appointment, but trust me its definitely worth it! Ive been to both locations, and theyre both great!

I appreciate the clean facilities, which include free water and mints as well as the relaxing atmosphere. The upbeat personality of the staff-from the receptionist to the owner, help make the experience enjoyable. They offer coupons for their regulars and referral bonuses! Erin is THE BEST for eyebrows! As hard as it is to find a good eyebrow lady I finally found mine! She takes her time to get them just right! She is also gentle and is friendly and makes getting my eyebrows done something to look forward to! Everyone at the front desk is super helpful and they are very accommodating! Georgi’s is hands down the best! So professional and I searched for years before I found her and tried a dozen places. I was a long standing customer with monthly appointments and would still be if I hadn’t moved. I have seen many of the staff but have some favorites. They have good products and services. I can’t say enough good things!!!

I had a great experience with the waxing studio from the second I walked in. The wax technician was very professional and made me feel comfortable. She had a crazy amount of knowledge about skin, hair, and wax. I got a brazilian only a few days before my wedding - I was nervous about my skin being red and irritated for the wedding and honeymoon (it usually gets irritated extremely easy) and she did everything she could to make sure that didnt happen - and whatever she did worked!! She was fast and careful and it was the most painless wax I had. And she got every last hair! I will definitely be returning.

This is the best place to get waxed in Detroit. Period. Awesome staff, lovely and clean facilities, reasonably priced, online scheduling available. I just love a good self-made company that has grown simply by word of mouth and a loyal following.

I got my second Brazilian wax here, and they did a horrible job. It was extremely uncomfortable and painful, I was very unhappy with my experience. There was still hair left on the place where i was supposed to get waxed and have all of the hair removed. I was told they couldnt get it because it was connected to the root. But arent all first timers hair connected to the root? I felt like I was taken advantage of because I went by myself and I am only 15. Georgis ripped me off, and left hair on my vagina when I payed for a BRAZILIAN. Which is supposed to remove all of the hair.

I wont go anywhere else! Everyone has been very professional. It lasts me longer than all other hair removals, and the waxing process is the least painful that Ive ever experienced.

The service itself was good, I was pretty happy with the results, but they couldve been better if I wasnt so rushed. It was my first time getting this service and I wasnt prepared for how shocking the pain would be to my body. I repeatedly asked the woman for a moment to take a deep breath. she usually let me take that moment, but not without continuously mentioning how she had another appointment after me. I was in a lot of pain and needed some time to calm down and I feel like that was kind of ignored. I felt really rushed and super uncomfortable. I dont think I would recommend this place to friends/family.

Very professional and clean. I got a brazilian for my wedding. The lady who waxed me was very nice and I didnt feel uncomfortable at all. Their prices are a little high or else I would have given 5 stars but I guess I wouldnt expect anything different for Birmingham. It was nice because they give you a discount for your first visit. I came to Roza for my first Brazilian wax and after watching every horrific reaction video and reading every traumatizing experience of peoples first Brazilian wax online, I was expecting to cry uncontrollably or have to leave in the middle of it. Roza is so down to earth and casual, she makes great conversation throughout the whole thing. My first experience took honestly about 10 min and the pain was minimal, didnt flinch or shed a tear. Getting my eye brows waxed hurts more in my opinion. Afterwards the redness and bumps went away within the day. If you are getting your first wax or have had unpleasant previous experiences I HIGHLY RECOMMEND ROZA OR ANYONE AT GEORGIS WAXING STUDIO BIRMINGHAM :)
