My wife, Sonia visited this office second time and experience has been awful. Both of us are physicians and we usually don’t post reviews like this. The dentist has been billing at the highest level without doing the work. Billed for deep cleaning which was never done. This has happened second time. We are going to file complaint with the insurance and consumer protection for fraud.

Nothing but positive things to report about Dr. Floyd and the professional staff at Bethesda Family Dentistry. I hadnt seen a dentist for a few years and I wasnt exactly looking forward to it. Dr. Floyd didnt give me a hard time about this, but instead provided me a personalized road map towards getting back on top of my oral health. One of the more comfortable cleanings Ive had too, even after a hiatus for a few years. A very pleasant experience, would highly recommend!

Stay aware if you value a billing department with any integrity. I have never had an issue with dentist billing. I came as a new patient and received care at this facility. Then a years later, received notice from Bethesda family dentistry that information wasn’t properly billed to my in-network insurance company and I owed a large sum due to their own mistake with filing my insurance and not realizing until a year later.

I highly recommend Bethesda family dentistry. Had an urgent dental need and was able to secure an appointment next day. The entire team is very friendly, caring and knowledgeable in their level of expertise.Dr Tabb is highly regarded as one of the top dentists in the DC metro area. I presented with a complicated case and she did a very thorough examination to determine the appropriate course of treatment . One of the most caring and knowledgeable dentists I have ever seen. Dr. Allen Lee, by far one of the most pleasant surgeons Ive ever had working on my teeth. Very thorough and caring. Im terribly afraid of the dentist and hes very sensitive to that and goes the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. For example, when having my first root canal procedure, Dr. Lee was very supportive and thorough when explaining the process. He is a professional and has a naturally lovely personality.

During a stressful time for many, Bethesda Family Denistry offered the security and confidence I needed to return to integral dental services. Dr Tabb and the entire staff were incredibly empathetic, professional, and thorough in the delivery of services and emotional support. I visited Bethesda Family Dentistry for the first time this week and had a wonderful experience. Admin staff was welcoming and professional. The hygienist had a wonderful manner and diligently walked me through my appointment. Dr. Tabb was very knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. I never experienced discomfort during or after she completed the dental work. I would recommend Dr. Tabb and Bethesda Family Dentistry without reservation.

I live offshore and was only passing through DC for a couple of days. I completed my semi-annual cleaning - excellent job; thorough and painless - and needed a minor follow-up visit on short notice. Dr. Tabb and her staff made accommodations to see me first thing the next morning before I left town.As usual, Dr. Tabb and her Team delivered world-class dental care with outstanding chair-side manners plus special provisions to fit my schedule. As a person who struggled with dentophobia before I came to Dr Tabb and Bethesda Family Dentistry, I walked into their offices with years of neglect and a bad previous dental experience. Dr Tabb, Dr Li and the whole staff eased my fears by thoroughly explaining procedures, exhibiting patience and kindness and ensuring physical comfort before and during all dental work (seriously little to NO pain). I now have something I never thought I would, a beautiful, straight (Invisalign) and HEALTHY smile! And now I walk into the practice confident and completely relaxed because I know I’m in the best hands.

I had to have two crowns prepped which took 3 hours and then the mould was fitted and sent off to make the crowns. My temp crown fell out the second day so I had to go back to get it stuck. I returned to have my crowns fitted and they didnt fit. I have to go back to have the two teeth prepped again and more crowns made. Very disappointing, especially because I hate going to the dentist and now I have to start the whole process over again.

While going to the dentist isnt at the top of my list of things I love to do, Bethesda Family Dentistry makes it a very enjoyable experience. The dental assistance are always nice and friendly, and very good at their job. My dentist, Deborah K. Tabb, D.D.S is very focused on keeping my teeth in the best health possible. Nothing but rave reviews for Dr. Nichols and the staff here @ Bethesda Family Dentistry. Friendly, professional and welcoming environment. Although Im sure they have countless patients, I feel like Im their only patient. Glad to have a dentist who makes you feel comfortable.

Patients be aware: This practice tries to get as much money out of patients as they can. This place pushes patients to do unnecessary procedures and overcharges them with surprise billings. I dont post bad reviews often at all (my first actually), but this was such a disappointment. If you have to use them, make sure to get a second opinion from other doctors before agreeing to any major procedure at this practice and an exact estimate from your insurance for everything they suggest. Dont believe their its covered by your insurance claim if they try to do something that you didnt agree to. My and my spouses experience was that this practice tries to get as much money out of their patients as they possibly can no matter whether a patient actually really needs any of their recommended procedures or not.

Dr. Tabb is fabulous. My husband had a traumatic dental experience as a child. He tried many others before we found Dr. Tabb. She is gentle and compassionate. And she does excellent work. His smile looks great. Highly recommend Bethesda Family Dentistry.

Dr. Nichols was fantastic. He could carry an excellent one-way conversation, did a great job filling in the only cavity Ive ever had, and gave terrific advice on brushing techniques. Everyone I interacted with in the office was extremely friendly and professional, and made my visit as smooth as possible.

Yesterday I visited the dentistry and had my preventative care treatment performed by Dr. Nichols, who appears new to the staff.Not only did I have an enjoyable visit, but he provided a very good cleaning. We even joked a bit about some of my dental habits that needed improvement, and surprisingly, he was quite friendly about it all.A good visit and a good new doctor on staff.

Dr. David Nichols and his assistant were absolutely phenomenal today. I had a wisdom teeth removal visit and it went by in a fly. They were very sweet, caring and helpful. Highly recommend!!

I’ve been seeing Dr Tabb for more than 30Years but I had a dental emergency during her vacation and saw Dr Collins. He put in a temporary crown for the one I lost on vacation. He was very careful with my pain management and I had no after effect pain. I am very happy with the experience I as today with Dr.Collins.

It was my first time coming to Bethesda Family Dentistry and I had such a bad experience! I had a filling done here by Dr Margaret and thereafter for the next 6 days I had pain and extremely sensitivity on that tooth which I never had before. I went back to the clinic to complain about the pain and Dr Tabb and another endodontist saw me and said I needed a root canal as the damage has already been done! And there was nothing further they could do about that tooth.Not only did the dentist in this clinic damage my tooth through shoddy work, they also refused to take responsibility for it!I would advise all to please avoid going to this clinic.

Had a wisdom tooth emergency. They saw me right away. No wait. Everyone was very friendly and professional.———————-——Update: I got my wisdom tooth pulled yesterday with Dr. Nichols he was awesome. I expressed my fear and anxiety to him and he took his time every step of the way and made sure I was comfortable. You won’t regret choosing him as your dentist.

Dr. Tabb is technically excellent, highly professional, and very kind. The office staff are universally helpful, well-trained, and kind. My dental history includes accidental damage and I am, as a result, pretty much a chicken in the chair. Today, I went to Bethesda Family Dentistry for my periodic cleaning. The dental assistant was very professional and thorough. During the dental check it was determined that one of my fillings was missiing. An X-ray was taken of that tooth and adjacent teeth. The X-ray determined that the adjacent tooth to the tooth with the missing filling is infected and requires a root canal.The Dentist, Dr. Tabb, added a ceramic filling to the initial tooth, did an initial prep for the root canal, applied a solution to prevent spread of the infection, prescribed an antibiotic, and assisted in the scheduling of the root canal procedure. This was all done in approximtely one hour.I am fortunate to have excellent dental care at Bethesda Family Dentistry.

She and here entire staff are the very best and have always made me happy with there continued advancement in cosmetic dentistry.Dr. Tabb is a perfectionist and so am I and she knows when I am not happy as I too am somewhat anile! She has changed my smile over the years and always shares what I should have done 30 years ago preaching at every visit that I required lower braces. Invisalign retainer technology changed my mind so I final gave in. It only took 30 years and my teeth are white due to her Zoom technology. Dr. Bouffard extracted 4 of my molar teeth during the same sitting and he was amazing! Not only was the entire procedure painless (Ive endured more pain during a teeth cleaning session) but the post-opp pain was so minimal that I didnt even need to take the pain medication. I would highly recommend Bethesda Family Dentistry and ESPECIALLY Dr. Bouffard!!

Worst dentist office I have EVERY GONE TO!!!!!For standard cleaning appointments expect a wait for at least 45min before they even realize you are waiting (even thought you checked in when you entered), I have had to wait over 1 hour on three occasions for myself or my childrens cleaning appointments.

Going to the dentist has never been something I like to do, but ever since I started going to Dr. Badakhshan at Bethesda Family Dentistry, I no longer mind the visits. Dr. Badakhshan makes the entire experience comfortable, from the moment I sit in her chair. I recently needed to get several cavities filled, and for each cavity, she was not only cautious and diligent when working on my teeth, but also thorough in explaining what is being worked on and the best plan moving forward. You can clearly tell she is very knowledgeable in the dentistry field, as she makes certain that there are no questions left unanswered when you leave the office. I would highly recommended Dr. Badakhshan!

Dr. Badakhshan is amazing! Shes professional, attentive and knowledgeable. I went into Bethesda Family Dentistry just to get a standard six month cleaning, not expecting much, and was impressed with the service. Dr. Badakhshan made me feel very comfortable and was patient in answering all my questions. We discussed different cosmetic treatments and her recommendations on treatments for my overall oral health. Ive seen Dr. Badakhshan a couple times since my initial visit to start addressing some of the options we discussed in my first visit and am happy with the results. The staff is great, super friendly. The office is clean and check in/out is always quick and stress free.I also saw Dr. Miller (at Dr. Badakhshans recommendation) who removed all four of my wisdom teeth, which I expected to be a traumatic experience but ended up being fine. I had no swelling (!!) and recovered quickly.
