My contact person was (Trina)? I think thats her name. However, she was excellent. Great bed side manners, very calming and professional.The Dr. Was Dr.Vic Chaudry. He had excellent professional, and great bed side manners and very reassuring. The two were excellent together. Trina is the best!!!

Im brand new to the area and was really dreading going to a new dentist. I started having wisdom tooth pain and decided that it was time to go. After looking at a few dentists in the area I decided to go to Bethesda Dentist Group due to it being the closest and having good reviews. Going in, I had no idea what to expect but couldnt have been more surprised and pleased. Everyone was so nice and helpful. Everyone made sure that I was comfortable, understood how much everything would cost, helped get my insurance in check, and ultimately gave me a really good cleaning and advice. Long story short, everyone here is super friendly and really good at their jobs! I have found my new dentist!

So thankful for this place! Visiting family from out of town and had my tooth knocked out due to a biking accident. The dentist was able to accommodate all my needs same day.

I’ve had a pretty turbulent experience as a patient at Bethesda Dental Group. After arriving in the DMV, I had a dental emergency which is how I ended up becoming a patient. While I liked the doctors well enough (and am grateful for the tooth they saved) I’m really tired of being overcharged for dental services. The doctors never seem to be there long and in my two years going there I’ve seen like four different dentists. I’m also really tired of them recommending root canals for every little tooth issue. I will be going to a new dentist from now on - a situation which has also been made VERY expensive because they are refusing to send over my X-rays. Sigh.

Nancy, Iran and doc Vik are awesome. Best service you can get. Nancy went above and beyond to get my insurance figured out. Everyone is just so awesome and friendly. I’ll definitely go back!

AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST!!I came here for an emergency dental visit for a toothache when I couldn’t reach my dentist and have experienced the most unprofessional medical office. When first there it was quickly determined that I needed a root canal and another procedure was preformed to prepare for it I was to return the next week for the root canal. When I returned someone (not the dentist) attempted to change the treatment plan after the dentist had administered the topical anesthesia (red flag) when she walked away the dentist whispers in my ear that there is no need to change the treatment plan and she was only trying to get me to spend more money because “at this clinic they don’t care about the patients they care about the money”. The dentist himself told me this so I was rightfully uncomfortable and didn’t want to be treated in such a way so I decided to leave but before i did I asked how much I would be refunded since I had pre paid. (Glad I left because when I got a second opinion I was told that if I continued with their proposed changes I would have likely had complications down the line) I was given the number $412.20 for the refund after i had already paid $600 it was written on my treatment plan and was told I would receive it the end of the month (JUNE). I waited patiently and by the second week of July called inquiring where the refund might be (I’ve now already paid for the procedure at another office). And at first told the refund amount would be $350, drastically less than the agreed and written amount so I even provided the paperwork they gave me and now are trying to say my refund is only 160. I almost lost my tooth due to the reckless money hungry Bethesda Dental Group and now they have stolen my money aswell. Stay away from here at all costs

The group was top notch from start to finish. EVERYONE I engaged with was professional, patient, proficient and kind. I had a broken molar with significant pain. My request for care was prioritized and I was seen right away. My sincere gratitude to Dr. Samad, Dr. Vic, Mahvash and Iran. You all made an anxious experience a calm and pain free event. I highly recommend this practice!

Not sure if this place is trust worth. My friend broke her tooth and not in pain but they keep put emphasis on how painful the teeth are.And offered ridiculous price that I have never heard before.After we insist the price is not affordable they dropped the quote for $5000 less.The doctor didn’t come explain anything or procedure that need to take until the quote advisor come to tell us the price and remind him to tell us what happened.I don’t feel comfortable to do anything here.

Bethesda Dental Group is the BEST dental office I’ve ever been to–from the front office staff to treatment by the medical providers–this office is dedicated to providing patient-centered care. I contacted the office on a Sunday and was given an appointment for the next day. Given my situation, I went in not knowing what to expect. To make a long story short, after a thorough consultation with the cosmetic dentist, the medical team custom designed a BEAUTIFUL bridge for me. The office manager was also extremely helpful, especially in terms of advocating on my behalf with the payer(s) of the service. I highly recommend Bethesda Dental Group and will always be a patient here!

I am a patient at the Laurel office. I have soft teeth and have been working on implants, so I am a frequent visitor. I love and appreciate the entire office and dental staff. Hats off to Katrina, Tammy, Jamie, Adriana and the entire dental staff for exceptional service. If you want to be taken care, and feel comfortable in the chair, this is the place to go.

Absolutely 5 star care! Everyone in this office was kind, professional, courteous and helpful. I called on Friday afternoon with a dental emergency and was seen within the hour. The dentist was professional, kind and explained all my options thoroughly. He took care of my complex emergency that day and the next step was scheduled for the following Monday. Thank you to the office staff ( Leyla) and hygienist who were so kind and explained everything to me for billing treatment and insurance coverage. As a healthcare professional myself of over 25 years experience, I highly recommend and had an awesome experience !

Absolutely outstanding! I reached out to Dr. Shawn Samad early this morning about an emergency tooth extraction needed for my boyfriend. Not only did he get back to me in less than 30 minutes but was also so kind and helpful and got us in first thing. My boyfriend went on about how cool the office itself was and how the team made him feel so comfortable and even made him laugh little! He is extremely happy with the decision to visit Bethesda Dental Group and is already feeling less pain than he had been for the past 3 days!I myself am terrified of the dentist and setup an appointment for myself during this and must say just talking to Dr. Shawn Samad and seeing how comfortable and happy my boyfriend was already makes me feel a little more at ease about my future visit! The level of expertise is unsurpassed, this dentist worked on my cracked teeth and made my smile stellar😁. The equipment he uses creates the crown as He is one of only two dentists to have this CAD program . While I am waiting a crown is being built in his own lab. Never in my life have I seen such artistry and genuine caring for the patient. He is a cosmetic dentistry genius. All must visit for his beautiful work.I have never said I can’t wait to get back to my dentist but in this case, He has made the experience as comfortable as ever. I am back on Monday for a couple more restorations.Bravo we have a brilliant and talented dentist in Bethesda!!

Yes I just want to start off by saying it takes a minute to find a good dentist working Bethesda and I came across the dental group on Wisconsin Avenue 7508 Wisconsin Ave. to be exact it’s clean it’s quiet and the first thing that I got out of that was it professionally I feel comfortable with talking to the receptionist she made me feel comfortable And most of all Dr. Fitzgerald made me feel really comfortable sitting in her chair she explain things to me they work with me as far as your copayment and I will recommend anybody who asked me where there is a good dentist I will most definitely recommend the dental group

Incredible service was seen same day for emergency care. The staff was flexible and extremely helpful I got exactly what I needed. They worked with me so that I was comfortable and satisfied. I have never felt so comfortable at the dentist. I will only come here moving forward.

I had an excellent experience with the entire staff. I called the day before and was given an appointment for the next morning. They performed two root canals during my appointment. I was extremely impressed with their modernity. I walked out the door with permanent crowns.Oh yes, Fatima rocks!

Seriously the most accommodating dentists office I have ever interacted with. Super gentle and patient and they were able to fit me in after hours. We were there until 830 at night and not once did they seem disgruntled. Will definitely be going back for future dental work.You probably have to park like 5 minutes away but that was the only annoying bit.

I had to have emergency root canal today (Sunday, Christmas Eve) and was very pleased that Dr. Samad was available. The Office Manager Tammy took my initial call and was very reassuring and professional and coordinated my visit very promptly. I would highly recommend this group to anyone.

These people are amazing. Last night I had severe trauma to my front teeth. It was a Sunday and we couldnt find one place to help. Many places advertised 24 hour emergency numbers but only this group came through. They saw me around 8pm, very quick turn around from calling to being seen. They worked on me until late at night, on a Sunday! It was almost midnight. Then, today, they had me come in to finish the job. Ive never been more thankful and impressed. Ive absolutely found my new dentist. I cant thank them enough.

I used to have a filling on my left front tooth. After bit into a refrigerated Twizzler, I realized I needed to see a dentist. I recently moved to the area and did not have one yet. The concierge at the Whitney recommended the Bethesda Dental Group a block away, as they had gone to them personally. I called at 5:50pm trying to make an appointment for the next day, if they had a cancellation. The receptionist, Tammy, called the doctor and then asked if I could be there at 9pm. Dr. Shawn Samad is a cosmetic dentist uses the latest technology to design the new crown. He prepped the tooth for the crown and produced a digital crown that someone would mill into my new tooth the next morning. It took about 15 min to put the crown on the next day. Pain was minimal and subsided by the afternoon. I am really happy with the work I had done. My tooth looks perfect. Thank you.

I was able to make my first appointment right away with a very friendly front desk staff who took my call. My First impression as I walked through the door is how clean the office was. Its bright white, very modern, feels like an upscale studio in someones New York penthouse! Every staff was very friendly & accommodating.The only thing they were missing was a kid friendly chair and entertainment. I would like to see a separate area for the younger kids who need a level of distraction in an environment where they felt secure. Some books, art work and childrens games or movies would be very helpful for families.Other than that, highly recommended, great service, definitely coming back!

I hadn’t gone to the dentist in about 4 years due to lack of insurance and honestly just being terrified of the dentist. After my tooth cracked I went in for an appointment and learned I need to have it removed, an implant placed and an eventual crown. I was terrified and Dr. Shawn Samad put me at ease and has continued to do so through the multiple cavity fillings I needed as well as an additional crown. When I got my dental cleaning, the dental hygienist immediately put me at ease and I left not quite so nervous for the next cleaning. Overall, I’m quite pleased with my experience. Definitely recommend for anyone!

Besides the fact that I was extremely tired and I had to wait a while for my dental bridge to be made overall it was a good experience. The doctor was very knowledgeable and the staff was pleasant.

I am sure this dental group is decent, but they sent me personal information of someone else VIA Email because they entered the address wrong. When I contacted them about it, I still got an invitation to review the dental group, meaning they entered the email wrong again. A little more attention to details may be warranted if this company wishes to conduct business over email.

This review is for the Laurel Pines location, the entire staff is wonderful but I was particularly impressed by Miss Katrina, Dr. Samaad and Dr. Fitzgerald. I am not an easy dental patient, my mouth is sensitive and the idea of even a cleaning tends to cause me anxiety.I had to go in for an abscess behind my molar, was in a lot of pain and very afraid. Miss Katrina was truly a lifesaver, she calmly coached me through the process and I could not have gotten through the visit without her. Many places have technical ability but it is a whole different skill set to also have empathy and patience - as a client I am so appreciative and have recommended this office to everyone I know. If you are looking for prompt visits, a beautiful and clean office, and really fantastic staff, this is it!

No, this long drawn overdue compliment is for Tammy Ennis, the office manager who took my desperate call for dental work, understood my immediate need and clearly communicated with me through everything from sending embarrassing photos of my teeth in various angles to communicating with the dentist after-hours that their most complicated case and experience could be on the horizon. Not only did Tammy take my e-mails and calls seriously after-hours, she wasted no time preparing everyone as she understood my desperate need and the time frame I was working with. As I stated earlier, I have never written an online comment in my life and I have been using the internet everyday for nearly 3 decades. These words I write here today are sincerely heartfelt and long overdue. Tammy and the Bethesda Dental Group have changed my life! I contacted them after 5pm on 10/25. My massive amount of work was done and finished on 10/31, all in one day.Dr. Samad is a pure genius, artist, dental magician and much more. The entire team there is professional, warm and down to earth. The entire team made my experience comfortable and tolerable. I had a tremendous amount of work done and they worked their magic and made it all happen in 1 day. My new teeth are mesmerizing and look 100% natural. Wow!!! I feel like I’m aging backwards now when I look in the mirror and my confidence is through the roof. My wife even kisses me more sporadically now and not just after I brush my teeth. Not all heros wear capes! Dr. Samad and his assistant Tammy came in special at 9:00 pm on a holiday to give me an emergency root canal in order to get me out of pain. Totally above and beyond the call of duty. Dr. Samad was friendly and professional and went the extra mile with humor to ease my apparent anxiety of going to the dentist. Don’t hesitate at all to visit this office if you need emergency dental work or just a regular check-up. You won’t be disappointed.

I just didnt believe nothing about he told to me. He said that I needed something very expensive, so after that I went with other dentist who made a excellent job and nothing about he told me. Be careful a crown is the last treatment you should do if you want to keep the structure of your teeth.

I had tooth pain for a while and was procrastinating going to the dentist until the pain intensified. Called in for an emergency appointment at 8 and was told me to be here at 12. Tammy was very nice and helpful, took all my information because I wasn’t sure about my insurance. After X-rays and a dental exam Dr. Samad let me know I had to get a ROOT CANAL. I told him I heard all the horror stories and couldn’t do it.He assured me that it would be painless and quick. So I went ahead with the procedure. Doing the procedure he made a couple of jokes, checked to make sure I was ok and was done!!! I was so surprised- NO PAIN away all. In fact my filling was more painful than the root canal.I am very happy that I did go through with the root canal and also needed a crown that was done in office and ready in a hour. I encourage anyone looking for a painless root canal with professional, nice staff to visit the Bethesda Dental Group.Any future root canal or dental work will be done by Dr. Samad.

This office is amazing. You do not feel like you are at the dentist when you walk in. It is beautiful. Dr.Samad and his staff are so caring and really catered to my needs. They do everything right there for you, no need to be referred to another office. They also make their own crowns right there in their lab. That is so convenient when you really cant spend time away from work. I had my tooth prepped for the crown and was able to return to work in 2 hours. I will definately be referring patients to this dental office that makes you feel at home. Thanks Dr.Samad and staff for everything.

They dont worth for 1 star they are untruthful they can not be doctors socially dr. Shawn Samad he just wants to collect money from tge people. I will sue him because he destroys my mouth. He didnt give me a second to wash my mouth during working in my mouth. He is lier he told me cleaning my teeth for $99 and after the Xray told me $339 for cleaning.

I was treated with tremendous amount of dignity in the midst of a crisis. I had a cracked tooth. I called, in pain, with loads of questions. Dr. Samad answered each one thoroughly and patiently. Upon arrival, Tammy captured perfect x-rays. Dr. Samad consulted with me on a course of action, taking considerable time to inform me of other care possibilities, then explaining with great detail why he believed a root canal and crown was the best plan for me. Tammy shared the financial cost and payment options in a clear and pressure free manner. Once I decided to have the work done, the emergency root canal and crown lengthening procedures were handled with incredible skill and efficiency. All in house. All in one appointment. Were it not for some particulars in my situation, Dr. Samad would have completed the crown right then and there (normally he completely restores the tooth in one visit; I will return in 2 weeks). I have been to many dentists through the years.I have had multiple dental emergencies through the decades. Dr. Samad, a U. of MD Dental School graduate, has a skill level unsurpassed by any other dentist I have visited, whether in crisis or in calm. I simply could not be happier or more relieved with the outcome. Thank you, Dr. Samad (and Tammy, too) for your outstanding work!

Absolutely Junk place!!!First of all they were not treat us like thier color skin on there customer service; what I mean that we were 20 minutes heads before the guy treated earlier than us. My girl friend was upset and asked me that why they are treated this guy before us? I said just forget it. Then, fake doctor came and told us many confusing treatments. We told him that we have an X-rays and medical exams result about her teeth from another place just for 1 month old. Now, he supposed to go the next step which is deep cleaning and orthodontics step instead of doing agian X-rays and medical exams because we gave him the first results from another doctor with email and hard copies. By the way I am a medical student knews something about knowledge of X-rays.1. This fake doctor told us we need 2 single teeth after 2 minutes changed his mind ohh you need 3.2. He doesnt have any confidence about his thought about bones in her tooth changed his mind again we do not have implant here. Then I decided this place is crack and fake just showing medical facilites to grab money from peoples. I can say many things about it.......but it is waste of time. ABSOLUTLELY JUNK DENTAL PLACE!!! I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE!!!!

Wow! What a great cleaning I got! The staff knew who I was and so kind to me. Filled out the forms for me . They took my insurance and filed for me. They didnt make me wait and dr was very gentle and told me about my broken tooth. Scheduled me in 4 days and cost less than my old dentist even though they were clean, a lot of Windows and modern. They support local artist. I got invited to their Christmas party on dec 19th. Jessica was the sweetest. Go try them out.
