Nice place to live, safe, very close to grocery. Ricardo and Patricia are super helpful from the beginning. Repair orders are quickly solved.

I called Westwood Apartments and was assisted by Ricardo Washington. He is passionate and friendly to answer questions that I have, and after the conversation on the first day we set up a Zoom virtual tour for an hour to look at four different units that were available. A virtual tour was difficult because it meant that Ricardo had to hold up his phone and move around to show each apartment, but he was patient to do so. Perhaps one thing I appreciate the most is him being upfront and honest - in the few occasions he wasnt sure of something, he would say he doesnt know for sure and talk to his manager or send me a follow-up email to answer that question. I really appreciate his work ethic and attitude!

Management here seems to think that this is a hotel. You sign a lease and you pay rent BUT every time you turn around management wants to ENTER YOUR APARTMENT for one reason or another Absolutely NO RESPECT for your privacy whatsoever. They have the keys and they will enter your apartment on a regular basis. As a tenant you are inundated with MEMOS. Memo after memo after memo practically on a daily basis. Do NOT rent here. Management tries to INSERT themselves in your daily life and they want to exercise their right to take a key and walk around your apartment on your dime.

I live next door to Karen and staff has made repairs in my unit and left the place A MESS!!!! Cant wait until my yr is up. The units are ok.

After staying here for a year, this place was really bad. The office except for Ricardo weren’t friendly at all. Please if you lease ask for Ricardo. The buildings are really old. People will come in without your permission even though it’s covid. They do inspections at ridiculous times. Its crazy. People here don’t respect your time at all. We decided to get our apt checked out for the last time and they were thirty minutes late.

I wish there was an option for zero stars! I had to select one star in order to be able to post my comments. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this place! Very rude, lazy careless people in the office and very disrespectful too! Maintenance is clueless, cannot fix anything and there are leaks everywhere...

I really like Westwood Tower! From the time I reached out to them through my entire leasing experience, the team was super nice and patient with me. I love the location and the fact that they had a shuttle to get me to the transit station for work! I think people make the difference. With such a great office staff and a beautiful apartment, Westwood Tower is now my home. :)

I recently moved out of this building after living for some time. Its across the street from a grocery store and close to downtown.This building is okay to live in if you know who to talk to.Blanca and the property manager Ashley are lovely and sweet. They communicate with you and try to help you to the best they can. If youre planning on signing for this apartment, try your BEST to get Blanca.Theres another lady named Patricia who puts a smile on her face and acts like shes sweet but is only after the money in your bank account. She has ZERO patience and a short temper. Instead of treating people with respect she will be rude if you dont agree with what shes saying from the beginning. I dont know how someone like this expects to draw clientele. Shes awful.

This place is terrible. I lived here for over ten years and had to deal with cockroaches and rats. At night I would see the rats running around the main lobby and my floor.The staff here are bad. They are rude and love to gossip about the residents.When your parking space gets taken by somebody else they assign you a new one. The new one they assigned to me I actually found out belonged to another resident. The staff tried to lay the blame on me. They rarely refill the coffee machine. and I’ve seen cockroaches crawling around it and different parts of the main floor and my floor . It smells like marijuana on my floor and garbage. I’ve made complaints about a drug dealer living in my floor who has had shady people coming in and out of his place at all odd hours of the night. The staff said they would take care of it but they never did. And somebody told me they got followed and mugged on their floor.please stay far away from this place.

Part of the parking lot sits atop the historic River Road Moses Cemetery thanks to Montgomery County Government, Montgomery Planners, and Laszlo Tauber’s company Westwood Ventures. The live of these enslaved Africans and Americans were just paved over in asphalt as if they never existed.

A fare place to live in!!! generally 3 star, but to lower the avg, I will give a 1-star. Everyone’s opinion matter so am just Off-setting another 5-star review that is off-setting other reviews. People use our review to think about weather they should move in and giving unfair review will make it hard for them to make the decision that they need to stick with for 12 months.Pros:1. Lower rents2. Close to giant and a pharmacy.3. Some friendly staff like Andrew. Very helpful and respectful.Cons:1. Smell of tobacco on hall way . I consider it very important. Because it’s harmful to your health to smoke second-handed smoke.2. Smell of garbage in flight elevator sometimes.3. Not much a sense of community in terms of management and neighbors.4. Not walkable at all. Most bars are 2 miles away and you will need to take an Uber to get there and back.5. Maintainable is not very good. When something break, they will come and check. But in terms of pest control. It hasn’t done a good job.6. This building is a joke. The elevators( 2 of them ) that go to the garage have been out of service for a while. ( not sure about the other one, but one has been out of service for 2 months. I mean, 1 month is still understandable, but 2 month ? ) And they still don’t know how much longer will it take.7. The machine that charges your laundry cards can’t take credit card anymore, and I have not seen any notice saying when it will be fixed.8. Finally, let’s talk about service.(1). When I first asked how to pay the application fee. I was told that they can take my credit card. However, the agent didn’t mention there was a process fee, which you don’t need to pay if you drop by and pay by check. I later asked why they didn’t mention it. The agent said they assumed I know it. The agent first told me they can’t refund me the payment and let me pay by check instead, but finally did it when i asked to talk the supervisor. The leasing office, including the manager and agents, is GENERALLY NICE. But no one will bother to go extra to help you.(2)one front desk staff is extremely lazy and rude. This person assumes that it’s tenants’ job to serve her. This is the incident. We were assigned to a parking space, but when we try to park there. It’s occupied, so we had to take another space that was not assigned to us, and informed them we did so and can’t move coz we need to leave for work.The second day, they assigned us a new space. I SPECIFICALLY ask them. “ are you sure it’s empty? Coz the one you gave us yesterday was occupied” and she said YES .Then we tried to park there and it’s occupied again. We had no choice but to park it another space AGAIN. No long later, the front desk staff called me and say that my vehicle will be towed if I don’t move it. I asked her why she gave us an occupied space AGAIN. She said I should have contacted her when I saw it’s occupied. The problem is, it’s 9 am morning! People go to work, lady! I asked you to make sure if it’s empty so that you don’t waste my time, but I am the one who is supposed to do your work and check the availability for you? I tried to reason with her but she asked me to talk to the manger. Anyway, my point is, MOST staff don’t go out of their way to do a good job. They just do an OK job. I came from another apartment in downtown Bethesda and they provide excellent service while the rent is not that much higher. That’s why the service bugs me and I would suggest people to pay some extra to live a better life if their budget allows.In general, this is just a fare apartment to live in. Remember that you get what you pay for. Come for a visit before signing a lease. Wish you all find your best apartment.
