Ross Company Since I dont get the responsible people on the phone and they keep transferring me to unanswered phones who never respond to voice mail I will just post it here.ParkingCheverly Station apartment has towed my car 2 times, and paid $175 each time they towed, I have paid $350 total for this place I am supposed to call home.The 1st time on a trap spot with no sign or yellow line, when I went to the manager she said a lot of people went to her and that it is not a parking. If you know its not a parking, Then what have you done to help your residents know its not a parking absolutely nothing up to now that spot is there. Do you enjoy seeing peoples cars towed and coming to you everytime?You keep changing your parking policy and you dont put clear signs, I have no idea when you stop anybody parking on visitors 7AM-10PM. I also called days before my car was towed to ask for this new policy and they never told me I cant park on a visitor spot until my car was towed. WE DONT EVEN HAVE ENOUGH SPOTS. How far do you guys think its fear to walk to your apartment while I see a close spot to my apartment? Its ridiculous you need to treat people better than that.Also why should I have a visitor? They have to move their cars at 10pm or get up early to go move their cars. Its chaotic and super annoying. There are other apartments that do better than this. I wanted to stay here a little longer but I cant think you need to treat people better than that.PARKING SIGNSThere is absolutely no towing sign on the back of the complex, like the entire side there is only 1 fire lane sign and I see signs at handcuff spots other than that you have to walk to the front of the complex about 7-10 minutes to see that sign and get the towing number. See pictures.TOWING People have seen these guys towing cars from one side of the complex and collect them to the other side before they start towing them, its like they are racing to tow as many cars as they can and this management is fine with that. There are better ways to make money, do you think what we have to go through after our cars have been towed?This towing peoples they are rude, rude rude that is another story how they treat people when you go get your car. This guy even yelled at me in front of my son.Ms Zuli is very nice and very very professional.

I called the “corporate office” to discuss an issue with my properties printer and the front desk lady yelled at me.When I called back simply to update the situation (only my second time calling), she yelled at me and said it doesn’t matter how many times you call you have to listen to the property manager. I never asked to not listen to the property manager, I simply stated they need to do better about the printer and that there’s never ink. I was calling to update her that the property stated businesses are musing the printer, hence why they never had ink. So, her response was uncalled for.Then when I stated there is a constant issue with the maintenance and upkeep of the building she stated, “Well no one ever calls about that your the only one I’ve heard to complain.” Meanwhile the apartment building “Colesville Towers” has a two star rating.Then she got an attitude and said well if this printer wasn’t even inconveniencing your right now would you even be calling me. What kind of customer service is this?Ross Management please do better and make sure your staff addresses residents accordingly moving forward.

Front desk lady at the cooperate office is very rude and sarcastic. As front desk youre the face of the company, a customers first experience is through you. So if theyre coming to you with an issue or in need of clarity, the rudeness and obnoxious, lazy, sarcastic attitude is so not needed. Shes a terrible representation for your company. Either she needs to be retrained and take a customer service class or simply let go! It costs nothing to be respectful and kind, especially when conducting business.

I would have left 0 stars if I could. The service at Cheverly Station Apartments is PATHETIC. They have ignored all my emails, they straight up will lie to you and say maintenance will come to your apartment but they never do, my door knob doesnt lock most times, I have sent multiple emails about how that is a safety issue for me, guess what, not even a reply to that email. They straight up dont care. I put in a ticket june 7th, today is July 9th and they straight up told me non of my many issues were considered an emergency, after a whole month. SMH its very appalling and makes you lose faith in people. I cant believe that as a lady living by myself with a door that does not lock, someone will look me straight in the eye and tell me its not considered an emergency.

When I was first supposed to move in, my move in date and unit was changed due to reasons that I am not aware of. Once I moved into my unit on July 27th, 2017, my unit had a lot of issues that an apartment should not have for new residents. The unit was partially cleaned. The balcony was almost covered in bird defecation and smelled of feces. We had old condiment sauce spills in our cabinets and a plethora of other issues. Majority of these issues were put into an OOPS list and given to management on July 28th, 2017. The cleaning issues I handled myself. The apartment is infested with roaches, spiders, flies, and greatest of all, MICE. I can deal with a lot of things but I do not have a peace of mind laying my head down at night due to the conditions of this apartment. The pictures listed show only a few of the issues that were in the apartment the first day we moved in. I wanted to desperately break my lease.

The maintenance service was great! My apartment at Seven Springs, the bathtub and toilet were clogged and I put the request in the afternoon and Melcan (technician) arrived and fixed it perfectly! Very happy with the technicians service.

This is the WROST property management company I have ever dealt with and I have had by fair share of bad ones. These people only care about 1 thing MONEY! Do yourself a favor and RUN FAST save yourself and family I would never rent from this horrible company again CINDY is RUDE needs a new day job! Rented an apartment in 2016 from this company. I fulfilled the lease contract and was never late for the rent. We appropriately moved out at the end of the lease. Ross Services NEVER contacted us about the deposit refund. They subsequently sold the apartments to another management company and conveniently will not take any responsibility for their lack of communication or fulfillment of their responsibilities. It has been over 7 months and still no information about the status of this refund.

I recently received my credit report and it showed that this management company claimed an collection on me and my roommate. First of all, I moved out of this place two years ago. Why they claiming this two years later? I made the payment when I moved out. I contacted the management put on hold for 30 minutes and asked to call back. After calling several times finally spoke with someone who handles the bills. I sent him the copies of the checks and he some how making lame excuse to delay this matter. They had taken out the money from my bank (cashed the checks) in 2017 when I moved out. Both me and my roommate e-mailed him several times. Still nothing. Is anyone here had similar issues?

Tired of being treated differently. Others in my complex are treated so much better. I have two children and a dog. We’ve never caused a problem but we certainly feel as though we are not wanted. All I asked for was that they get rid of the mice in my apartment and replace the carpets. I’ve been here two years and this is the short list of what’s wrong with this place. Complaining doesn’t help as they then offer to let you out of your lease and threaten to have their attorney contact you. Ross Management is concerned about one thing.... dollars.

I live at Oaks at park south. Been here for over a year. My water bill has never been extremely high. Went from paying 40-50$ now in a month paying 105$ I really think that’s a lot on top of that paying rent also. I think they need to change the water policies in this complex

I live at oaks at park south have had nothing but issue after issue no one to help they are all the same no matter who you call. I have random charges to my account that keeps increasing and mice and roaches in my apartment this has been a horrible stressful renting experience with these people I wouldnt recommend anyone trust these people and they also write fake reviews to make themselves look good dont believe them! Markieta the property manager is so rude and cindy is even WORST they all should be fired!

Worst apartment company by far. One of their properties, Colesville Towers, has the worst management I’ve ever encountered! Dozens of emails, no response! Dodging phone calls, lies, negligence and pure laziness. Apartment was without A/C for over a month and I was told that doesn’t make it an unlivable apartment! In 90+ degree days a hot apartment is ok?! Taking this company to court for sure. Whatever you do avoid this company at all costs.

I never rented a property from this company yet for some reason my husband has a record of eviction from this company. Called this company numerous times to fix the issue but no one seem to know how to fix it even though its from their mistake or even take 100% responsibility of their fault. I am tired of waiting for someone to call us regarding on this issue so guess were moving up to the next level to handle this issue. Thanks so much ROSS for handling this issue professionally.

I did an application for one of their properties and was approved. Was told I couldnt move in until 10/15. Was called by at the beginning of the month by my leasing agent to lock in this date and I confirmed. Life got in the way and I wasnt able to move on said date, but emailed my leasing consultant that Fri (10/19) I would be ready a week later. She didnt reach back out until today. Only to tell me that they cancelled my app and I would not only have to reapply, but pay the app fee again. All while they still have my holding fee. This is truly making me reconsider

Bottom line, no one here is of help.They keep providing this “help” email that no one even checks nor answers. It makes sense as to why the General Manager at one of their properties doesn’t give a slight ounce of compassion let alone direct attention to concerns or complaints; How can they when even the company itself doesn’t want to direct any attention to serious issues. I will be taking direct steps into bringing this into higher hands. I refuse to CONTINIOUSLY be ignored.

I’ve been in one of your apartment complexes for just about a year now Seven Springs. When I moved in I was not told of the trash removal from the dumpsters which are in front of my apartment.The first 5 months were not too bad I guess because my window to bedroom was closed. As it began to get warmer of course I opened my window. This is where the problem begins.The company that empties the dumpsters have no consideration for the tenants here. They come and empty the dumpsters usually around 7:00 am. They are extremely loud. Sounds like they pick them up and throw them down. I’ve complained to the office and sent a recording to show how loud they are. The sound of them being emptied and dropped is deafening. I’m surprised I can still hear.I understand the dumpsters need to be emptied but do they have to make so much noise especially at 7 in the morning when people are trying to sleep? I pay too much in rent to have this happen every day. I seriously have to go have my hearing checked.My mom came to visit. She is 88 yrs old and she was awakened every morning at 7 by this deafening noise. One morning it was 6:50 when they came. No one should be living in this apt this close to the dumpsters.It is so loud my dog starts barking!!!! Because of this and other problem at Seven Springs you have lost a tenant.

Unsecured entry doors, homeless sleeping in halls, drugs being used in halls. Apt cold all winter. Had to use heaters. Say heat come from floor. Roaches bad. Seems like someone stealing money. Have gotten so many notices for nonpayment or late rent. Have every single receipt. Wanna talk to sumone in the Big Office. Then, Fees build up & you end up paying more than u r suppose. Rip off. And, everything in writing say 1 thing. They verbally say another. The worst ever. Absolute worst. Bulk trash stay out there for weeks b4 pick up. Cant wait to move. Another thing verbally say 30 day notice. Then, u give them 30 day & they say no its 60 days. Please make up mind

This is the worst management company ever. The staff is 50/50, sometimes they are friendly sometimes they are very rude. I moved into my apartment going on 2 years now. I am having air conditioning problems ever since I moved in. They accommodated me with a brand new unit and it still doesnt work. I have called on several occasions. They come out say that they fixed the problem but air is still not getting cold. Also it would be cheaper to get an apartment with everything included. The gas and electric is very high. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS MANAGEMENT COMPANY! WARNING!

They just took over and already I miss the other management company. They werent that great, but at least emergency maintenance did their job. I havent had hot water since Saturday! The reasons have changed every time I call, so I dont think he even tried to fix it. There is no way to put in requests online and I only get the 1 person at the number provided. I am so frustrated!

I had the worst application experience of my life with this company. The worst part about it is that no one between the property and the management company has been willing or possibly able to help me. I am completely disgusted by the entire organization and have been advised to have my attorneys office request a refund of my application fees due to the gross incompetence displayed by this companys employees. Its so sad that it had to be taken this far, but at this point we will also have to sue for the outrageous amount of money weve spent on living arrangements waiting for these issues to be resolved. I would not recommend anyone work with this company or any of its associated brands.

Hey, Ive recently moved into Admiral Place apartments in April. my original move in date was April16th, when i came to move in, my apartment was a mess, toilet was leaking, dead roaches in the carpet, vents were crazy packed with paint, kitchen counter top was detaching for the cabinets . i was told they would fix the issues, and that my move in date will be moved to the following week. the day i went and signed for my new lease, i was told by Amber leasing consultant, that i would also be recieveing a $800 credit to my account. that amount would take care of the pro rated amount for may and it will be a credit left over for Julys rent. By the way, June was FREE because the the move-in promotion going on. it is now June and i logged into my account to pay my utilities. and i have a balance of 1600.99. BILL STILL WRONG! i called to figured out what the issue was. and the property manager told me that she would correct the JUNEs rent but she has no idea about the extra credit that was supposed to be applied. and to top it off Amber is no longer with the company!!!!!!!! I Have A HUGE issue. This is unacceptable. i have no problem paying my rent, but i will not take responsibility for the miscommunication at the offfice. Can i plese speak with someone immiediatly!!!!!!!-

We received a memo from the Colvin Woods Apts management office that it will start charging convenience fees for paying rents with e-check, credit card, etc., and in order to avoid fees, we must deliver a check to the office. Years ago, I set up an account on the Colvin Woods website to pay electronically and just adjusted the monthly rent amount in January when I renewed the lease. Now Im locked out of my account--the system claims my email address is invalid. Ive been using the same e-address for over 10 years. Your staff at the leasing office are so incompetent, the memo states that the fees may range from $25.00 to $5,000. Really?On a separate note, I filed an official complaint against the apartment management with Consumer Affairs, Fairfax County as the on-going fire alarm issue has not been resolved after 4 long years of my stay at this location. On 4/16/18, the alarm went off at 3:47 AM and they could not shut it off for several hours. On 5/14/18, around 6:40 PM when adverse weather and tornado alerts were still in effect, the fire alarm went off again, and it was finally shut off about an hour later. I firmly believe its not the alarm itself that is faulty--they checked it time and again--but may be some structural damage, e.g., crack in the wall letting precipitation in, thats causing the problem. If this should continue, I will report it to the Building Inspection Department. I pointed out the fact in the complaint that the fire department was summoned numerous times, and that it should be able to supply the record of its dispatches to 11013 Becontree Lake Drive.

After changing management companies from Donaldson to this company, the representative from the leasing office continues to promise to fix our air condition system and fix the leaking sink, but after about 2weeks nothing has been done. After multiple times of complaints and promises that they have placed a ticket for this issue nothing has changed. Unfortunately, my lease is not yet up or I would definitely look for other places to reside. This management group does not seem to care, especially the representative named Tyrone who continues to promise actions but later does not follow up. Its the middle of the summer and we are staying in an apartment that is 98 degrees! That is inhumane! Please do Not come here! YOU WILL REGRET!

Continued to take the allotment from our military checks after we moved. Dodged our calls to try and fix the situation and then when we finally got a hold of them and told them our new address to be sent a refund check they still sent it to the old apartment address we moved out of. Very frustrated with this company.

Roaches, unsecured entry doors, trash all over the property (yesterday I spent 30 minutes SHOVELING it up myself because I couldnt take the smell anymore). I dont understand how the property owner can spend thousands on property renovation and nothing on upkeep. Repeated requests for repairs and extermination services have gone unanswered.

I would give it no stars if I could. Broken window hasnt been fixed in over 2 months. No communication between residents and office staff. Office staff doesnt seem to know what is going on. Overflowing dumpster in parking lot, EVERY WEEK. Repairs in general take an unreasonable amount of time.
