They run a tight and professional operation that is welcoming. When I pulled around (you have to kind of go through the gas station) I was met by a staff member who asked me what I was looking for and briefly talked me through options. After I got an estimate on when my car would be serviced (there were 2 cars ahead of me and its first come first serve) I went inside, confirmed what Id be getting and applied my coupon from online (pro-tip: check the website for coupons. There are usually a few and pull the one you want to use up on your phone).I was all done in about an hour including the wait and they walked through everything they did before I left. Id go back! They were really nice and did a good job.

I would recommend that everyone strongly considers going to a different place to get an oil change. I got an oil change from them before going on a road trip when I was in a hurry (usually I change the oil myself). The next time I was changing the oil I realized they tightened the oil filter too much and couldnt get it out using any of the tools I had. I spent my entire Saturday afternoon trying to get it out and even went to buy a bigger spanner but nothing was working. Im sure I was putting more than 100 foot pounds of torque trying to loosen it! Eventually I gave up and called Jiffy Lube and Thomas, the branch manager told me to bring the car in so they would fix it. I brought it in a couple days later and the lady refused to take care of issue. And on top of that she wasnt wearing a mask which I thought was super irresponsible and careless towards her co-workers and customers. I cant believe they wasted my time and money like this.The oil change was also a complete rip off the first time I got it. It cost a $104 and there were no prices posted anywhere so I only found out after they had finished the oil change.STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!!!!

After a suspicious oil changes from Big O where they pushed new tires (bought a new set there a month ago) and Firestone that said I needed a new battery, I was looking for an honest oil changed. Jiffy Lube in Berkeley shined above the rest. They were very attentive and offered services without pressure. I liked the upbeat mood of the staff even at 5:30pm. They even took my $10 coupon with smile. Best oil changer experience ever. I highly recommend them.

They noticed a tear in whipper blade new higher quality replacements a little shorter ok still window nice and clear 35 bucks. 100 buck synthetic oil higher grade out the door for 154 buck after all lights checked all windows washed mirrors cleaned tire pressure up. Also free top off for 3 months so very much more friendly loyal courteous kind obedient cheerful thrifty brave clean and reverend; fun to.

They fixed my car after the mistake, and I appreciate that, I will definitely be a costumer again, thank you Philip.They changed my transmission oil but after 2 months my car starts to not working well and I went to a specialist in transmission and he showed me the oil there wasn’t for a CVT transmission and no full synthetic, this made me very mad because I paid for full synthetic in jiffy lube.They should take care about they’re clients and what kind of the product to put in our cars, I never going to this place anymore.

To be fair I didnt actually get my oil changed here. I pre-paid for an oil change at Big O Tires and accidentally went to Jiffy Lube (so embarrassing). But the guys were so sweet and efficient. They had already checked my tires, lights and belt before offering me the different levels of service. At which point I showed them my pre-paid form and they informed me I was in the wrong location!They could have pressured me and told me they had already started so I was stuck. But they simply told me they understood, shut my hood and wished me a good day.I think the mark of truly good customer service is how they treat people even after they know they cant get money from them. Much respect. I think I will actually come here the next time I need an oil change. Thanks guys!

The very first drive after getting an oil change, my van check engine light went on and it it started driving rough. I pulled over and smoke was coming out of the engine and oil was everywhere. When I checked the oil dip stick, there was no oil left in the engine. I had to get the van towed to the dealership (22 miles away) and they diagnosed the problem due to improper oil filter install (seal was crimped). I had all the documents and called Jiffy lube and talked to the assistant manager and told him that I would like to stop by and talk to him about a refund. When I got there, they told me that there was no assistant manager, GM or anyone who could help me. They told me that I had talked to someone who didnt have authority to do a refund. I cant believe this is how they run their operation.

Went in for an inspection for Uber, its $39 although its suggested online the price would be $20. For labor I paid for this grown man to simply walk around my car while instructing me to turn my wipers, lights etc on/off.. some of the things he checked off on my sheet, he didnt even do (front seat adjustment, seat belt check, speedometer, muffler and exhaust system, safety belts etc). And then to top it off, he wrote the mileage incorrectly and even scribbled on the doc in an effort to fix his error. Unknowingly I uploaded the doc to Uber only for them to flag the document fraud, which suspended my account for a week while they review the doc further 🤦🏾‍♀️... I am still a bit irritated and want to be clear as to if he was supposed to do anything to my car the warranted $39 and an excessive amount for labor..

Didnt even have to get out of my car...took about 15 minutes and I was done.👍

Matt was so kind and helpful. He has great customer service skills and was informative about everything that needed to be done. I was in and out of there in less than an hour. I would recommend going to this Jiffy Lube!

I went to this Jiffy Lube location with my Van. Told the technician I had gotten my oil change done with Jiffy Lube in San Diego- and I would like a top off on my fluids.The locations parking lot is tight and they insisted on getting me into the 1st bay, with a vehicle hanging out of a parking space.Ive had my van served at many Jiffy Lube locations throughout the U.S. - this is the first one I drove away from because of the employees lack of understanding of what I needed.After a few minutes of the employee trying to direct me to drive into the bay- and me saying my van is not going to cut that corner the employee said they were driving it onto the bay because it was an open bay and a liability. So, why was the employee guiding me to drive the van into the bay?The other employee whom I told I needed a top - asked the other employee what I needed.I dislike businesses that have a break down in communication. Especially, when they waste my time.

Hello, I had my oil changed at service center #889 in Berkeley, CA on 8/4/15. On 8/20/15, the dust cover under my car basically fell completely off. I had to call a tow truck to hoist up my car because when I went to pull out of my driveway, I could hear a loud scratching noise coming from underneath my car. The noise was from the dust cover dragging on the ground. Only 1 bolt could be found holding the dust cover onto my car. One half had completely fallen off. I am most certain that the Jiffy Lube tech did not properly secure the dust cover to my car. I had to pay the tow truck company $100, was late to work, and had to pay Audi $72 for replacement bolts. I also purchased new windshield wipers during this visit. They work just as poorly as the ones that were replaced. Waste of another $50. Overall, this horrible and inconvenient visit has made me not want to return to a Jiffy Lube since I cannot expect excellent results.

These guys are quick and they know what theyre doing. Entering the site and parking can be a little tricky as youre coming off of University and that can be a little precarious. But once youre in they treat you and your auto with respect and before you know it youre back on the road. This is after around 2 years of regular patronage.....so theyre consistent as well.

General manager Richard was extremely rude, then refused to give his name, corporate phone number, or owners information. Not only did he use obscenities when talking to me, but when I asked for contact info for the owner, he told me to get out and looked like he was going to get physical.

Horrible horrible customer service. Showed me an estimate for $80, and then charged me $160 when the final bill came through. When I enquired why there was such a huge discrepancy between the bill and the estimate, I was just told that the estimate doesn’t mean anything.When I spoke to the manager, he told me that I liked to argue. Avoid this location at all costs. I genuinely feel like I got scammed here.

Took my Ford Explorer here to get the oil changed and fluids capped off. Specifically asked them to check the power steering level and fill it since it was sounding harsh. Get it back, specifically follow up with him about the power steering and he lies to my face saying they check it and capped it off. Found out when I took it to a different place for an unrelated problem and they capped off the power steering and all the sudden its like a new car. Never take your car here!

I would’ve given 0 star. Very unprofessional people, specially Richard the manager. They made me wait 3 hours for uber inspection (Normally takes less than 15 minutes) just becouse i refused to buy their $50 wiper blade and got them in less than $20 from costco and replaced them myself right in front of them. The manager kept saying it was not worth it for me to spend half hour to go to costco for the blades (i saved 30 bucks). Started making jokes on curry and bread knowing i was indian (which Im not) and laughing instead of giving me quick service.The whole staff started treating me like i hurt their ego by finding a cheaper option, and not buying from them.They were just supposed to mark on the ‘wiper blades’ as ok, and give that form to me (everything else was all done and already ready). But they said i had to wait coz i was gone for a while to get the wiper blades. One staff even started complaining i was standing on the way or stepping on the pipe.I would never ever go there again or recommend anyone. Terrible service, Horrible staff.

Quick and easy spot for an Uber vehicle inspection. The people are nice and the wait wasnt too long. You need to bring the inspection form from Ubers site they are unable to provide it.

The service crew appears courteous and competent, but the desk person not so much. Did not how to provide and accurate estimate as thought an estimate is needed for aan oil change. The clerk was constantly trying to sell other services. The location also does not participate in promotional email coupons from Jiffy Lube. The location on Van Ness in San Francisco is worth the toll considering the excellent service at that location.

Dont go this place: I was in line waiting for someone to give me a tag for a simple oil change of my car, after 1 hour waiting for some one to come and ask me what I need, this person (probability from desk, looks Asian) gave the tag number to whoever she want it, great! She gave the next tag number to a person that came 1/2 hour after me! So disorganized and disrespectful services!

I went to the University Ave Jiffy Lube this morning to get an oil change and to have my tires rotated. I drove away and my tire pressure light came on and my maintenance light was still on. So, I came right back and asked them about it. I asked about the maintenance light and he was all, I dont know how to take it off. So, I said, I guess Ill just google it then. And then I asked about the tires and one of the dudes came and just filled my tires with air. I asked him if that was it and he just slowly nodded without looking at me. Nobody inspected anything. Both lights are still on and I feel uncomfortable going back. I guess Ill just go to my dealership?? It was expensive for pretty bad service. Dont get your tires rotated and dont expect anyone to listen to you, I guess. Maybe its because Im a woman?? I dont know.

Everybody else told me they would need to do an”inspection” of the air conditioning on my Mazda Miata for at least $150 . That’s before they would even add coolant. Jiffy Lube refilled the coolant for $75 and they said would refund that if it didn’t work.

Do not visit! After getting my oil changed this morning my cars check engine light came on. They significantly overfilled my oil, which may have caused serious harm to my vehicle. I am extremely unhappy with my experience and will recommend all to avoid this shop.EDIT: The manager had me call myself a tow truck and get my car back to the shop. He had the service repeated and refunded the first service.Pulling out from the shop, my car completely lost power and broke down with traffic oncoming.Two and a half hours after the check engine light came on there is no any longer ambiguity. Jiffy Lube has caused serious damage to my vehicle and left me stranded.

Service was super slow. Other vehicles came and left. The service rep was not attentive and ended up restarting ticket saying I’ll have to get back in line again. Manager was blunt and rude when ever he spoke to me. Service time took over an hour! Very disappointed with my experience here. Terrible hospitality. No apologies for the long wait and mistakes!
