Last time I got my oil changed, I meant to ask him to add some wiper fluid because mine was out. I forgot to ask, but as I was driving I realized my windshield was clean. He had added the fluid without my asking. Great place.

Very fast and friendly service. I made a last minute appointment, and they saw me on time, did the work quickly, and the cost was as good or better than any of their competitors I looked at.

They were very nice! When my smog check failed, they asked me some questions so that they could help me figure out why it failed and how to help it pass next time. But I didnt need it to pass because Im probably going to retire it anyways, and my dad already told me that it would probably fail the smog check if I didnt drive it a particular way right before hand. So, I just took it in for the test without doing anything special, knowing it was likely to fail, and they provided the test at a great price and were very kind. They also gave me tips on what to do before coming in if I want them to re-test it so it could pass, in case I change my mind about retiring it. I made a same-day reservation so they were ready for me and notified me when it was done. It was very simple to pay and get the paperwork and they parked my car on the side of the road for me so it was very convenient. I wouldve felt a little more comfortable if their masks stayed up on their noses better, but there was always lots of open fresh air so I think it was safe enough. Also, they didnt try to sell me anything even though I failed the smog check. I recommend this place and would come here again :) I probably will with my next car!

Super fast SMOG test. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. The people working were kind.They also had a great price that is competitive with the coupon discount places, but you dont need to search for coupons. I went with them after searching groupon and seeing fine print about added certification fees, but not seeing the fee listed anywhere. 15 Minute had total fees listed on their website when I booked, and there were no surprises when I paid after the SMOG check was performed. Jose and his team are phenomenal. Great value, very communicative, great work and most importantly - high integrity. While others would force you to get services when you dont need, I have seen Jose operate from a place of integrity and not push for extra services and ask you to not change oil if its not needed. I trust him a lot, and cant recommend him highly enough!

I called and 15 minutes later was getting a smog test that took about 10 minutes. The staff was incredibly friendly and cleaned my windows while the smog test was being performed. Due to COVID precautions, everyone was masked and taking good precautions. I am incredibly pleased with the service.

HIHLY RECOMMENDED. Jose and his team are THE BEST mechanics we ever visited. We’ve been customers since 2016 when I first moved to Bay Area. I brought in my car for any problem it has. And Jose would always take care of it fast, precise and for a super reasonable price. And every time after a service, they would do a full inspection to make sure everything works fine. They always try their best to recommend services that are necessary, unlike a lot of other car repairs trying to push you to get bs jobs just to scam money off ya. Once they even went extra mile to tell me that what I requested is not necessary to wasted money on.———— One of our pleasant experience with them ————Last time my car’s belt snapped. We brought it in. They did a fantastic job as usual. And days later, we even found out that the annoying hanging panel next to driver side (fault of some other mechanic we had in NY) was fixed! Recently went in for a smog test but my catalytic converter got stolen the next day. Pretty sure they got my address and stole it off. My car has been parked in the streets over the years and my neighborhood is safe so this one time I go to to this mechanic and my catalytic converter is stolen the next day. This is the only explanation that makes sense! Never going back to this place!!!

I found this place when I moved up to Berkeley and needed an oil change. This place is fast, inexpensive, and the staff is really friendly. The mechanic also did an overall check on my car and noted down everything that might need to get done. The first time I came in, he told me I needed my air filter replaced and I even asked him if they offer that service, but he told me that it was something I could do myself. They dont try to sell you extra services and thats the reason why I come back and recommend other people here too.

Ive been going to 15 Minute Smog for a couple of years and was distressed not to find them on University Ave. Looked them up and found their new location. So happy to entrust my car to Jose again, who is super friendly, trustworthy and professional, as is his staff. They had my smog test and oil change done in a jiffy, and for a very reasonable price, and when I mentioned that one of my tires had picked up a nail, they fixed that too in less than 10 minutes for only 15 dollars more. What a bonus! Trust me, I will be a regular customer and recommend them to everyone.

Ive been bringing my cars here for smog check and oil changes for seven years. Jose and his team always do a thorough job, checking the tire pressure, the underbody and all the fluids while the oil is being changed. What they do is truly the definition of good service. They have even driven my car around the block to diagnose a noise that was coming from my car. The price has always been so reasonable that I often have to tip them to pay what I think is a fair price. I cant imagine finding a place that takes better care of their customers.

Amazingly fast, uber friendly and a one stop shop. What more can you ask for! Jose and his son are superb in their customer service skills and are very honest. You can tell.that they obviously take pride in their craft. I thought I needed to change my brakes because they were squeaking and Jose told me that it really wasnt necessary, he checked them along with all my fluids and everything was fine. I appreciated the honesty. I was in and out within 10 minutes AND they automatically electronically send to DMV!

I really like coming here. Super efficient and quick! Ive come here for the oil change and the smog check. The smog check is $19.95+$10 for the certificate. If you have an older car (96-99), its an additional $10. Nevertheless, it was a great price, hard to beat!
