What a mess. A nine hour window for delivery. I wait all day and now into the evening. Call customer service. A joke! Get three different people from the Philippines, each more incompetent than the last. I still don’t have my package. My ten thousand dollar item is no where to be seen. Hideous service. I asked to speak to a person who had real time information. That apparently is not a possibility. What a joke.

I tried to call this location using the number listed here (same number is listed on the official UPS website). The automated system repeatedly refused to connect me with a human and it HUNG UP ON ME three times in the row after I went through the long menu system. At one point it literally said I cant help you without a tracking number and hung up, even though I was calling about something different.

No matter how many times I ask UPS to leave my package at the door, they refuse. Its happened 6 different times that I expect a package and apparently they get confused and dont deliver... Ridiculous. I wish I could just ask companies to use USPS instead...

I tried to call this store and got a call center. The customer service lady was unwilling to say where she was (India maybe? thats fine if it was but why not say?) and then was unwilling to help me with my problem. She raised her voice and talked over me several times. The issue was originally; I had scheduled a package to be picked up. I printed the label attached it and had the package sat out . The driver walked over the package and left a shipping label (this happened to me one time before) at the door and called this an attempt to pick up the package.The customer service lady refused to connect me to a supervisor and refused to give me her name and eventually transferred me to the main menu. I guess she couldnt hang up.I wish the drivers would ring the doorbell and pick up the packages when they say they will. And my gosh, I wish UPS would stand by their word.

This is absolutely appalling. UPS in bend refuses to deliver packages on a regular basis for no reason at all then you have to go in and wait in the insanely long line to get service to receive the packages that were not delivered.

Five stars ONLY because of the wonderful ladies that work there. I was at work when my package was attempted for delivery, and to no surprise was rerouted back to the UPS facility. I called and talked to a lovely gal named Linda that was very helpful and gave me her best estimate on when the package would physically be back at the facility, which was roughly between 5-7PM. Went there at 6PM and it hadnt arrived. Left Bend and called the 800 number at 7PM and talked to someone who did not physically work at the facility who told me the package had been refused for delivery, to which I asked, How could it be refused if nobody was there to pick it up? I was physically there at the facility at 6PM and it was en route back. No straight answer, just wanted to put me on hold but I hung up. Which was fine, Id pick it up in the AM the following day. Its a little confusing to find your way around the actual place in Bend but everyone was super nice directing me the right place to go. Shout-out to the locals who make this place run, yall are the absolute best! I appreciated every friendly face I saw and chatted with about the whole ordeal. Next time though, Ill just try and be home when my package is on its way.

I sent a box from TX to Bend and the TX location never gave me tracking and essentially took time to find this box by Bend and Corporate only being the ones who helped not the one who originally took possession of my package. By far my experience with Bend UPS is way more better and comforting. Feel I can trust them better than the Denton, TX center for sure.

In a word: incompetent! UPS is at the bottom of the list, behind FedEx, USPS, and DHL. They have lost 6 of my packages this year alone. One literally fell out of their truck in the Post Office parking lot, and the USPS tracked me down and told me they had it. The day I picked it up, three other patrons at the Post Office were picking up their UPS packages. They took 5 days to get me a package that supposedly was addressed wrong. Hours on the phone over two days, and it finally showed up. The name and address were on the package, big as day. Just really, really sh1tty service. There is a reason my multi-billion dollar employer will not use them.

Very friendly.. and somehow she knew exactly what I was there for! It was set up as a warehouse. Its a little trickier to find than u would think. Maps told us that we were there...but there was no building there... we UPS trucks but we drove around a bit and the building was way in the back blocked by other buildings and trucks. The lady was super nice! Thank u guys!

I cant even imagine a worse shipping company! I had a package due last Tuesday and it did not arrive. At the end of Tuesday when I tracked it, it said it would now be arriving Wednesday, come Wednesday evening, same thing, it would now be arriving Thursday. I call UPS and they told me I would be getting a call from the local hub by 7pm. No call! I call again Friday morning and they assure me it will be delivered today, Friday! I check the tracking noon Friday and it then stated the package would be arriving Monday! I call again and demand to pick the package up because they continue to lie about the delivery. They tell me there is no way I can pick it up until Monday because its stuck in a container and no one would be able to locate it! I ask why are they lying to me and telling me every day that its on a truck for delivery if its actually stuck in a container? They have no response! I let them know that Fed Ex had no problem delivering to me on time in the snow and that if the snow is the reason for the delay then they need to get up to speed with the natural weather that occurs in this area and get some better vehicles, equipment or drivers and maybe they should call Fed Ex for advice. I planned to pick up my package today, Monday, but now I notice it is out for delivery and will be here Tuesday. Yeah right! I guess I will never see this package and will continue my fight with this completely incompetent and deceitful company! Dont ever use UPS especially if it snows!

Melinda is the absolute best! She went way out of her way to help with a customer issue. I work in online retail so I have lots of experience with fedex and ups employees- Melinda was the nicest person I’ve interacted with from any shipping company ever.Jacob who is apparently a relatively new driver is also a really great and helpful person. He was unprecedentedly communicative and understanding.You guys rock!

This review is more about UPSs Corporate policy than it is about the local UPS center. I recently paid for Next Day service on two packages. As we all know this costs considerably more than say Ground. Due to winter weather the packages did not arrive until a few days later. I understand that UPS provides a service that can sometimes be weather dependent. I also drive a big truck (doubles/triples) and also have to work with the various weather conditions - I get it! That being said, if UPS is going to charge me for overnight service that I do not receive, they should provide me with a credit for future shipments. This could easily be accomplished using email. They could provide us with a contact number and subsequently I could provide them my email or mailing address wherein they could send me a rebate code/coupon. Neither UPS or me can control the weather, but they accept my money in spite of the weather so they are accountable. The packages did arrive but more like they were shipped via Ground - this is what I should pay for. No accountability...No Responsibility!!!

The people are awesome and delivery is on point. We have always had the best experience. Today was our first hiccup where they didnt ring the doorbell and if they knocked it was very quiet as not even the dogs noticed. However the customer service (in person) was very helpful and resolved issues quickly. The 800 number however is an absolute joke, worst phone experience Ive ever had. Overall company is great though as long as you can do things in person.

I would give it less stars, but it will not let me.My package was supposed to be here last week. Because of the weather it was running late. But it got to bend early enough to be put on a truck Saturday. Or they could have notified me and I would have went and picked it up. It was not delivered Saturday. I know some do not pay for Saturday delivery. But them not being able to transport because of weather back east is not my fault for it not being delivered on time. So they could very well have delivered it Saturday.So once again I have a package scheduled to be delivered and it was not, something about special delivery instructions from us. THERE WAS NO SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS from us. I call and am waiting for a call back. never received one. so i look online again and it says that I need to go pick it up. I get there and they are closed. I call them back and they tell me I have to pick it up, that they can not schedule it for delivery unless they charge me. Really Wow. I told the operator I talked to first that I was leaving for the weekend and would not be back until late Tuesday So did not want it delivered while I was gone. Talk about inapt . I am sick of the crap at the Bend Oregon UPS.

My package, which was paid one day air shipped days ago. If finally got to Bend yesterday and they turned around and sent it back to Portland. Then it got back here and was in the truck for delivery this evening. We were having fun tracking the truck around our neighborhood when they just took off back to Bend without delivering our package. The driver drove around our street several times but never dropped off our package. This is not the first time Bend has done stuff like this. It’s the third and the last. I will NEVER use UPS again. There’s no excuse for this. Customer service? When I contacted them this morning they were rude and unhelpful. They said bad weather caused this package to go back to Portland. 🙄 I’m not sure how a package that made it within 15 miles of my house was better off being sent over 130 miles from my house.

The winter storm has finally proven that USPS is superior. All of my recent packages from USPS have been delivered on time, regardless of the weather. UPS held two packages in Bend for a week because of the snow and have once again delayed another package thats currently in Bend. So youre telling me those dinky meter maid cars USPS uses can make it through the snow but the giant vehicles UPS uses cant? BS. In my experience, UPS has always been an inferior delivery service and this weather has cemented that.

I have been waiting for my parcel since 9/4/2018. Every-time I call the service center i just get a run around they say they cant see where my parcel is even though their website tracking shows it setting in bend for 6 days. They will not give you the number of the freight center and when we drove out there no one would answer the door. The last time they were to deliver something they never did and we ended up having to pick it up so glad i can pay shipping to my door. Will see how the day goes i may never get my parcel!

Theres no weather delay now! Shipped on the 16th. Tracking my package I find that its been sitting in the Bend UPS facility for over 48 hours, with no indication that its going to get to me today, the 22nd. In that same 48 hours, I ordered a book from Amazon and had it delivered to the door. UPS does not operate with the customer in mind.

Love the service here! Staff is always friendly, helpful and fun to talk with. We use UPS for business, so delivery and service is important. We have used the 3rd street location for around 5 years now. We used FedEx in the past and so glad we switched to UPS.

Tossed multiple packages at the bottom of our driveway out of their truck into the snow, leaving them damaged. Our driveway has been fully accessible for weeks by FedEx, USPS and other service vehicles. There is no excuse for this but being lazy.

Got a call from Landon to pick up some packages that werent delivered due to weather. Went to customer service and was told they didnt have packages for us. I called my wife to get details then went back in. Gave them my info a second time at which point they found one of the boxes from a different list. Never found the rest of the boxes. Three other people in line had the same issue and no boxes. We were all treated like it was our fault. There was no actual service or information.

Post office had a line out of the lobby, UPS was totally empty. I could see how some people would get lost finding the customer counter, but the headache-free interaction is well worth the quest to find it. I only wish UPS delivered to PO Boxes so I wouldnt have to deal with those post office trolls.

I continue to have package delivery issues. The driver on my route is not adequately trained or equipped for winter driving. And the local center is unwilling to reroute my packages to another address. I never have any issues with FedEx.

Awful service!! Absolutely horrible! Im not even sure how they could possibly still be in business. & if I could give them negative stars I would. Our order shipped on the 13th, & it was to arrive on the 18th, but they Lost the package. When we contacted them about it, (on the 19th) I was told I would get it when I get it. I contacted them again later that afternoon & was point blank told its lost & then I had to ask them to file a claim. It then mysteriously arrived a few hours away from me & then was told it was out for delivery today at 9:30 am (the 21st). At 5pm, I grew concerned & contacted them again; was guaranteed it would arrive but the driver still had 24 stops & would likely have to work until 10pm. Update to 6:30pm & my address apparently no longer exists. But previous packages, from ALL carriers mind you have no problems. Called again, & the rep Fred HUNG UP ON ME. Apparently he needed better call times. I immediately called back & was GUARANTEED to get a call within 1 hr, & PROMISED I could pick up the package this evening, even though the service center was closed. No call. Called again, was told its been there, ready for pick up for HOURS, but I was lied to & cant get my package until tomorrow. FANTASTIC! Moving forward, I will be refusing any service from this company. This is the issue I always have with UPS.

Absolutely the worst customer service Ive ever had in my life from any company at any time in my 37 years on this earth. If you can use anyone else use them. If you care about your package arriving on time intact and you dont want have to plan on spending hours and hours of your personal time trying to track your own package down, use FedEx. Im not saying just once. Every single time I have a package coming from UPS its delayed or I have to pick it up or the driver doesnt feel like making any kind of effort whatsoever its absolutely pathetic and then you call in and talk to people who are absolutely worthless and have no willingness to help whatsoever. NOT happy with the Bend Oregon UPS right now. FOUR separate packages from four separate locations have been delayed MULTIPLE days this week due to extreme weather. We called to hold the packages for pick up because we foresaw an issue, and were told your zip code is not affected, your packages will be on time. Nevermind that we paid extra for priority shipping, and that we have seen multiple UPS trucks in our neighborhood the last few days. FedEx and USPS both showed up on time. THIS IS BEND OREGON, IT SNOWS. Hire more people and train them to drive in snow. The streets are plowed. DELIVER ON TIME PLEASE. Not happy.

As I watch the UPS trucks go past my house each day and dont deliver to my house I continue to get the notice on the website as weather delayed for over 2 weeks!!! Horrible experience. My delivery required they call and set up delivery. It sat for 4 days before I called to ask where it was. I had to call Portland to schedule a delivery. They gave me a 3 hr window so I waited at home and they never showed up. I called and they said someone would call me in a hour. Two hours later I called them and they set up a new 3 hr delivery window on another day. Boo. (should be zero stars)

Sure am getting tired of driving down here to pick up packages that should be delivered to me. The latest excuses are Theres too much snow for our drivers to get around and We have too many packages to deliver. From a NATIONWIDE PARCEL DELIVERY BUSINESS IN A MOUNTAIN TOWN WHERE IT SNOWS. If you have too many packages hire more drivers, if you cant find enough drivers increase pay and hiring incentives, if there still are too many packages THEN YOU MIGHT BE IN THE WRONG LINE OF WORK. Also, IT SNOWS HERE. Yes weve had a lot so far, but FedEx and USPS are on my road every day and seem to be doing just fine. Suck it up, chain it up, and load it up. I also am a commercial truck driver, and this is ridiculous. This is the 5th package in a row Ive had to come down and pick up myself. Lastly plow your lot and warehouse area, no wonder youre having trouble.

They made every arrangement they could to accommodate me getting my package due to the weather. My next day shipping package was late but they let me pick it up at the terminal versus waiting for the roads to be passable. Looking at service credits for expedited shipping could be looked at. For those complaining about general weather delays - get real - this was an atypical storm that closed schools for over 9 days (only closed 10 TOTAL days in the previous 25 years). They drive two wheel drive trucks; even with chains they cant go everywhere. Suppose Fed-Ex is getting bad reviews for their terminals roof collapsing due to snow load too. Chill out - you live in Bend, OR; its pretty great.Service counter person was helpful in a bad situation. Did the best they could - actually felt like much better personal service than I would have expected.

*Im not one to write reviews, but UPSs terrible system of shipping has compelled me to do so*I ordered a package, shipped via UPS, that is now 3 days late (and counting) due to severe weather. Each day that my package is not delivered, the tracking system tells me that the package will be delivered the next business day; I would not have nearly as big of an issue with this if my package did not require a signature to receive it. With that said, Ive had to take time out of my schedule to be home when the package comes (according to their deluding tracking system). So basically UPS has repetitively wasted my time.Meanwhile, I ordered packages through FedEx and USPS during this severe weather and they both had managed to get my orders to me on time. I think this says a lot about UPSs level of competence compared to other businesses in the shipping industry. Nuff said.(*Drops mic*)

Been waiting three days for pkgs from Bend to La Pine. Each day was informed pkg was on the truck for delivery. Recd notification after 8 PM each day delivery delayed because of extreme weather. This is Central OR, high desert, it snows, altho roads have need clear and safe. Sure theres ice on roads in La Pine but driveable. Jan 6 (today) was the best day yet! I drive to Bend today, 97 was clear and dry. Folks are driving all over La Pine. Bend UPS is NOT customers friendly and full of excuses. Use another delivery serv if you can. BTW, I saw FedEx trucks (large and small) on the roads in Bend and La Pine. UPS in Bend needs new mgmt and drivers.
