It would be really nice if I could get a person on the phone and the hours could be better when I’m trying to get ahold of my 1200$ check for a week
I have had numerous checks lost or mis delivered to somebody else. I have to have them reissued and there’s no reason for this.My name and address doesn’t change! I understand they are under staffed but where are these checks going! Why is my stuff going to other people! And after I complain why is nothing getting done to fix it?!!
The DCU is a joke. It’s understaffed, and overworked for its size and the section of Bend it supports. The hours are even worse. This causes the staff to cut corners and be lazy. The amount of times a package gets sent back to the office with “undeliverable” or “insufficient address” is Infuriating. Only to be delivered a day or two later with nothing wrong with the address on the package. It is their laziness showing. I know there are a lot of hard-working postal carriers out there. This place gives them a bad name. As Im not sure any of the staff at this location cares.
The postal lady who waited on another lady and I, had a really bad attitude. She acted like we were a PITA (although both of us were calm and polite when asking about undelivered packages). She rolled her eyes when the lady ahead of me wasnt looking. She gave really bs reasons as to why we didnt get our packages and slammed the window down when I turned around to leave.
My mail carrier on Woodside Rd is driving around with her back open and Ive found three packages on the ground after they left that were not for a address near me. I have gotten mail in my box that was for someone else not even on my street but I took it to the right address! And Im missing mail. I know they are over worked but this seems to be getting worse

2 day claim limit - 10 day hold limit at DCU. What happens when I’m on vacation and can’t pick up my package in the allotted time? USPS is a joke.
Absolute joke. I can’t even tell you the amount of times my mail has been lost or never delivered, and there’s no one to contact because no one answers the phone. Absolutely infuriating.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Have had so many issues from getting the wrong mail put in our box, to it being left open, to made up excuses why it couldnt be delivered on time and now my dogs food which is delivered every other month is suddenly Oversized so they will not deliver it and I cant pick it up until the weekend because they close before I get off work so we ran out and I had to buy more of something I should have already had. Very frustrated with this terrible post office
The Bend USPS give the dmv a run for its money on inefficiency and incompetence. It’s no wonder it’s going bankrupt.

Why even list a phone number if no one ever answers it and there is no answering machine?! Lost packages. Mis-delivered mail. A hardish-back book was folded in half and stuck in my mailbox anyway, ruining it. This is all just since the weekend. I know it’s crazy busy for y’all and I do appreciate your hard work but I’m pretty frustrated right now.
By far the WORST agency around. Not only has my package been lost for 19 days, they dont answer the phone and I cant get ahold of anyone on the toll free number. Now the package is sitting there and nobody is sending it out!! The phone rings and rings and disconnects you if you wait. I am so over this!
Last week they wouldnt bring needed medications requiring a signature to our door. Just left the notice in our lock mailbox and made us drive out to this poorly staffed facility to pick them up. If youre not even going to give us a chance to sign just leave our medications in our secure keyed mailbox!!

Ironically I had a package sent to my moms address since there were so many times Ive received the wrong mail or had mine delivered to the wrong address at my communal mailbox. Unfortunately, since my moms mailbox has a separate container that they put a key in your mailbox to open it, this resulted in my package being 9 days late and counting:Monday: mailbox was checked before noon, package was delivered in the afternoon to the locked boxTuesday: package was taken back when the mailman came in the afternoon since there is a 24 hour window to pick up packages or they are taken back. Mail was checked in the evening and there was a slip that said box was not picked up in time/was too big and delivery would be attempted again. I assumed it was too big since I checked each day and didnt know the 24 hour rule.Wednesday: went to the delivery center to pick up my package. Waited an hour in the small hot box of an entrance while they looked. Finally they gave up and wrote my number down and said they would call when they found it.Thursday: I called in since I hadnt received a call and the package was a gift for a birthday on Friday. This shouldnt have happened and unfortunately did with this carrier but your package was taken back to Portland. It should arrive in a couple days. I had the option of them trying to redeliver it again or put it on hold for me to pick up. I asked them to put it on hold so that I would be notified once it arrived in case it came in on Friday and then I could pick it up directly.Friday: Had a lovely birthday party for my husband but no gift that was supposed to be part of the party.Following Wednesday: called in because I still did not get a phone call. It had been sent out for delivery yesterday... looks like I missed the 24 hour window again so it might be another week before I get the package.At least the people i talked to in the office were nice.
USPS has lost my package 3 TIMES THIS MONTH!!! I tried calling here to get some info about it and they never ever ever ever!!! Pick up the phone, I have to drive all the way there every time.
I live in Deschutes river woods and Im having these issues -#1. At least twice a week you guys never show up on time#2 . You always say you tempt the delivery, but I can tell you right now its not very hard to deliver to my house I have a parking lot for a drive way you could turn a Semi truck around in my driveway.#3. Im constantly getting my neighbors mail, and theyre constantly getting my mail, Like twice a week also.#4 Sometimes I dont even get my mail.[ If this continues I will be getting ahold of corporate.]
0 stars for this post office location - they are horribleThey never delivered a package for my husband, he went there with the tracking # they said Oh well, its lost, or the mailman was tired, our chances of finding a small package is 0 The women there on 12/8/20 in the morning should not be working there, obviously she is very unhappy.Avoid this post office if possible although it is hard if the main one sends you there.
Love the downtown post office, they keep the line moving, are extremely courteous and helpful. They are great with advising on the different options to mail items, always willing to give you the most efficient option for the best price. I have personally only had great experiences here.👍❤
Paid to have a package intercepted. Was reassured it would not be delivered to an old address. These folks here delivered the package to the former address after there was an order for it to not be delivered. Now my package has been delivered to an old address and is no longer able to be found. I dont even live in Oregon anymore and these folks are still messing up my mail!
Not a real postal office. Just a picking up & dropping off window.You can NOT do anything here requiring a cash register or internet. They can NOT answer any questions or help you with anything. The only service offered is disappointment.
Every time I have a larger package shipped that can’t fit in my small keyed box or the larger box for packages, is delivered physically by the south Bend, OR post office. I learned that it is transferred from UPS to SurePost which is the south Bend, OR Office. This is a normal delivery that Amazon uses. The north Bend Office has no problems with mail or small package deliveries. I have my unit number on a post at the end of my short driveway (on a light post), along with my unit number (glow in the dark) on the front of my home. They deliver my packages every time to the wrong address. When my neighbors bring the package that was delivered to them it always has the correct address along with my name. How can a mail person be so stupid?
Tried calling their phone number, repeatedly, for multiple days. Will not pick up the phone. So they get a 0 for phone response. I will now trek down to the office to resolve a simple issue that would have taken a 2 minute phone call.
This post office continues to deliver our mail and packages to other addresses, sometimes close to ours, and sometimes far from ours. Its quite frustrating to have to always be chasing down our mail.
They left my medicine at the end of the driveway, behind my car so it wasn’t even visible from the house. There’s a special kind of mean to do that. Other than that they are fine. NOT! Worst post office I’ve ever had to deal with.
Who ever is the delivery driver for south end of town truly refuses to do her job. My last 10 orders all showed up late with her claiming theres no access to my driveway. Which is funny since she has twice parked in the road right behind my car and refused to let me leave because her package delivery was my important than me going to pick up my kids. She can park in the road and deliver, but when no access to park in my driveway thats a problem? I pay for 2 day shipping and have not recieved any of them in less then 4. She is costing me money with lazy excuses of why she cant complete her job and showing a lack of respect to peoples driveways. Id give 0 stars if I could.
I frequently order items from amazon through the rite aid hub counter, and 2 of 5 packages coming from USPS don’t show up on time claiming “no access to delivery location”, then sit for days before delivery is attempted again. It’s a rite aid with a big easy to see sign and the doors are automatic. UPS and Fedex deliver on time to this location every single time. This is just sad.
Over a year receiving mail and packages at my current residence and all suddenly the delivery of my packages are being marked as unable to verify address thus returned to the post office. Having a phone number for contacting them is a joke because they won’t answer.Also, I am constantly getting other people’s mail. Like each time I check my mail.
As soon as i went in to ask about my package, i told them i oredered it about a month ago, told me i was never gonna get it then asked for the next person in line.
Terrible service. Have lost my packages on several occasions despite having a tracking number. They are unhelpful and lie about getting in touch with you on your package status.
This post office is the worst Ive EVER experienced from USPS. I shipped out a package last week to this location and it still has yet to be delivered. It says delivery access not accessible when I questioned the post office about it the lady said, oh I know this delivery driver, they were busy with a lot of delieveres that day and it would be delivered the next day....its been a week now with no update...
By all appearances a USPS location, but once you get there you realize its only a drop off center. They dont even have a self serve kiosk.

Paid for 2-day delivery because I needed an item for work. Tracking tells me my package is out for delivery. I check my mailbox (extra-large box big enough for small shipments) has 5 pieces of junk mail and no package. I look at tracking again, it says the driver couldnt get to my mailbox, door or porch and to look for a note from the driver. No package. No note from driver. Literally NO REASON the driver couldnt get to my porch. Regardless, I guarantee that when I go down to the office tomorrow and pick it up myself it will be small enough to have fit in my mailbox.
Terrible, terrible post office. My mail is routinely NOT delivered to my home. When I speak to the manager he actually laughs and all I get are excuses. What kind of recourse do I have? How can I fix this? I had a package that needed a signature and the slip was in my box (just like the last two). I was home all day and my husband was in the driveway working. Does anyone have any idea how I can get this issue resolved? It’s taking a ton of my time away from my job to have to come to the other side of own to get my mail all the time, especially when the hours are 10-3. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!
I was expecting a package to arrive on a Friday. It still hadn’t been delivered the following Tuesday. Their reason was that they didn’t have “access” to my neighborhood. WHY? Because they didn’t read the sign that says “USE THE MAIN/FRONT GATE” if you are not a homeowner!!! LAZY!!🤔
Since I moved to Bend three and a half years ago, I have been battling with delivery service by USPS. Yet again, I have a missing package, and yet again, the carrier has lied about attempting delivery and leaving a notice of delivery attempt. I work from home, with my home office located in the front of my house where I can see every person who comes to my front door. I am so fed up with this dishonest practice that I reported this USPS location to the USPS Inspector General office. And when you call them, they NEVER answer the phone. How can you get a resolution when you can’t get in touch with anyone? I suggest everyone who is dealing with the same nonsense also submit a complaint on the USPS Inspector General website. Lying and not doing what you are paid to do is unacceptable.
THEY ARE STEALING PACKAGES. CONFIRMED. STEALING PACKAGES. CALL POLICE NEXT TIME YOUR PACKAGE DOESNT ARRIVE. FIND OUT WHO DELIVERED AND REPORT. THEY ARE STEALING.
Some of the most frustrating experiences Ive had (when it comes to customer service) have been with USPS. Their business practices seem outdated and unprofessional:-How hard is it to confirm you are delivering to the right address?-How hard is it to leave a note if youre unable to deliver a package?-How hard is it to have real customer service reps readily available for something as important as carrier services?-How hard is it to make sure customers dont have to wait 90 minutes to actually talk to one of those reps once they find out how to even get a hold of them?-How hard is it to make an IVR system that doesnt take people in circles and waste there time?I could go on, but Id be wasting my time... Just like calling them.
Now I see why this particular USPS office is rated so poorly. Minimal parking, very limited hours. Staff that seem to be on the defensive before you even approach their booth (and I rarely complain about that, as I get that it can be tough dealing with frustrated people all day... But wow). Multiple times packages get marked as undeliverable or already delivered inaccurately making it hard to figure out where your orders have ended up. The local delivery person also frequently puts the wrong mail in the wrong mail boxes in our neighborhood resulting in never really knowing whether you are going to miss something like an important notice in the mail.Im not sure if there is something wrong with management or if they are understaffed with the growth in the area, but something needs to change here.
Easily the worst Post Office location Ive ever been too. They are rude and are clearly irritated when someone bothers them by coming into the building. Theyd be better served to close this location to foot traffic, or do some serious attitude adjusting.
I am revising my (negative) review after stopping by this location today to track down a package that has been somewhere since last week. The person who helped me today was very nice and apologetic with something that is not in her control. She contacted the postal carrier and I dont know what else ... which resulted in the package being delivered to my house about 2 hours later. I think other negative reviews are like mine was, simply out of frustration with the postal service in general. This particular location does not have a retail counter, but is only for picking up mail you get notices on, and dropping off mail that is already stamped/metered. So in context, I have to give this location four stars based on my experience with them today.
Had my mail delivered after having it held for a month. When I got back from running errands the box of mail was sitting there in the rain soaking wet. Leaving the box under the roof eave might have been smart so it could have stayed dry. Have to lay it out piece by piece to dry. Important documents are a mess. Thanks a lot!
The worst post office ever! Our carrier delivers our mail once or twice a week!!! Wont ever deliver packages and then doesnt let us know when the have arrived at post office! And then when we finally get the slip its a month later and the slip has the wrong date on it! Have witnessed him throwing packages! Friends have had packages broken! Terrible post office they never do there job right!!! Management should be fired they obviously dont know how to run it!
Constantly lies and says packages are undeliverable when theres no obstruction blocking their path.
They will not fulfill redelivery requests and will keep your items in transit for a month without ever delivering it. Theres no way to call them and contact them and if you work 9-6 youre out of luck. Despite valid redelivery requests they wont go through with it.
Just terrible... I have to take time off work to pick up packages At the office because they wont drive down my long driveway. My other packages that will fit in the mailbox are on time but anything larger they say delivery “attempted” and just hold it at the office.Update: 5 days...no mail or packages getting delivered.
I asked for my mail to be held so that I could pick it up at the end of my vacation. I go in when I get home and its not there for me to pick up. Instead its in the truck and I have to wait until the end of the day to get it delivered. Why have the option to pick it up at the post office if youre not going to follow that instruction? This is not rocket science, folks. Read and follow the instructions. This has happened twice now, and when I ask for an explanation at the counter I get nothing but rudeness. Id call and complain but they dont answer the phones. No wonder the USPO is going broke!

It’s already really challenging to work with the hours but I find it particularly difficult when I arrived at 2:48pm today the Office was already closed. (They close at 3pm btw). When I knocked on the door they said they were closed. I mentioned that I was there 12 minutes before they closed and they just kept saying they were closed. It takes 30 seconds to hand me my mail. Very unprofessional.
Absolutely the worst postal service EVER!
They said driveway was not accessible. We have lights on inside and outside . We were home at 3:28 pm this Sunday and they never came by at all . There is no snow this weekend. . Are they lazy and liars . It’s obvious they never attempted to deliver packages. I’ll be at the post office first thing Monday to retrieve my packages and file a complaint.

Worst post office ever. Half of my packages do not get delivered. They claim No access to house My house is literally 20 feet from the road.
Showed up to the window closed, the sign says ring bell so I did, and a woman behind the door says no ones home! But soon after opens the window with an attitude that Im bothering her (at her job). I hand her my packages (one too large for the slot) to send out - hours before the mail next goes out, which is at 2 or 2:30 as the sign says. She takes them with a k and closes the window and theyve yet to be scanned in 8 hours later. Are they sitting in a pile somewhere being ignored on purpose because I inconvenienced her? I cant trust this place, its always weird and they act like theyre being put out by customers. Well, dont take customers then and just be a mail center, or buck up and do your job.
The postmaster has no clue what hes doing he was supposed to return her call and not the phones never work there never open when theyre supposed to be our mailman doesnt ever deliver the mail or packages Im thinking I might try to charge him with tampering with the mail because thats exactly what I think theyre doing and I got a birthday card in the mail that was already open likely it was just a check not cash these people suck and Ill need to be fired

Weekend drivers are not delivering packages or saying undeliverable when there is clearly an open package lock box. Its like they get to choose weather they deliver your packages on the weekends or not. I get there is an increased package flow but they should hire more workers then. I support amazon becoming my mail carrier because USPS sucks.

Carrier was extremely rude and told me he won’t deliver to me if box wasn’t emptied next day. He delivered my packages to other houses at least 5 times that I know of. When trying to issue a complaint I was on hold for more than an hour. On my way to office now.
