I was met by a friendly staff member who offered one of the following free - air freshener, dash wipes, garbage bag - she gave me all three!The wash was good, the vacuums are strong and the nozzles stay put. What blew me away were all of the extras this place had.First, they have sinks so I can get my own cloths wet. Second, they had the most amazing pressurized air guns for getting all of those pesky tiny bits of dirt out of the many crevices of your car. Amazing! Next, they offered the usual coin-op cleaning items. Bonus was the mat washing machine. Adding to the experience, most of the vacuum bays are in the shade, making it a much better experience than vacuuming my car out in the blazing high desert sun. Other amenities - handicap bays, bathrooms, and drinks. They even offer a monthly plan for multi-car families.Surf Thru, I commend you for perfecting the car washing experience!

I went to this car wash this week. I bought the $18.00 car wash. Went thru the first time specifically stating that I needed my wheels done and that my bumpers from my trip the previous evening. After my first run thru I noticed they didnt get my wheels bumper or window. I went back thru not one but 2 more times! These pictures are after 3 times thru and still left with bugs on my bumper and window!The gal informed me they are not allowed to use the brush anything but glass so it dosent scratch anything.My mind is blown that after $18.00 and 3 runs thru my car is still dirty. So I had to go to a manual wash car wash to get the job done. We will not be back.

The woman who greeted me was extremely nice. My front bumper was caked with bugs and she told me that if they werent all off to just come around and drive through again. The drive through is really fun. The vacuums are free. Its a nice establishment.

Brought my new tacoma in for a wash and it just tore my hood up with 4 deep long scratches. Staff could care less. Have taken it to 2 other drive-thru car washes and did not get scratches like this.

One of the most effective drive-through car washing systems Ive used, AND the vacuums are FREE! Allowing my car to dry, after washing it, always produces a better result; now Im able to do this while productively vacuuming out my interior AT NO EXTRA COST! Maybe Surf Thru Express Car Wash is looking for an advertising guy?! The self service vacuuming is really great - have one on each side of vehicle! The washing always looks good. I have used this car wash several times and have always had good experience. This time there was a problem -- While vacuuming, all door locks were activated and I was locked out with no keys, telephone, purse, etc. I went to the office, they offered to try to unlock doors, but was unsuccessful. I had to use their telephone to call my husband (35 miles away) to get AAA telephone number and our account number. I was offered a place to sit in the shade to wait the estimated 90 minute which turned out to be much less (thankfully). During this time the gentleman who assisted me, returned to check on me several times, offered water and was excellent in making sure everything went smoothly.It is really nice to know there are still businesses with employees who really care to make a difference. THANK YOU!

Good car wash have vacuums and everything wipes of all kinds

Employees should not be walking up to customers, within 2 feet of them, without a mask on. Its nice that they want to help customers in the self help line, but please wear a mask and dont expose your customers that are trying to avoid Covid - to an unmasked employee.

Cleans and dries car very well. Free, very nice vacuums to use. Economical.

I have been here 3 times, each time I have been met with the same less than exceptional service. Every time I have been here I pay for the “Extreme” service, upon going through none of the “Extreme” services are rendered. No problem right, just go through again? Same thing happens, mind you the line is long so each time it takes forever just to re-enter the wash line.Their solution is to try it again, and again, and again at the expense of the wear and tear on my car. No thank you. They will take your name and phone number as “credit” for next time, if you are willing to try again. They could not even run my card to refund me.I wonder how many people do not even realize they are not getting what they pay for.

Okay for a quick rinse, but this wash never gets my car cleaned. I do like the additional services though and the vacuum bay is great!

I’ve always had a great experience with this particular car wash. Especially because it was new to the Eastside of Bend. Always great promotions and service. Although I’ve ran into a certain situation with having a 7 month long membership but unfortunately had to cancel my credit card due to fraud. (Not from the car wash) When I went to proceed my membership because I had a new card number. I was originally on the transferable share card which was the extreme. I’ve only ever paid $30 and loved it. But when I came back to change cards. They said that my membership was now $45 a month for the extreme for a shared card. Not sure if I was originally grandfathered in or if policy changed but my favorite part about the extreme was a better wash with wax and tire shine for my tires.. I spoke with a young gentleman running membership desk and he didn’t really have an answer for me.

I loved it! We got in, got out, lickety split! Soap was an impressive show of colors. The wash was very thorough and while we vacuumed the car ourselves, it dried super quick and had no window streaks. Vacuume was powerful and made the job easy with great hoses. BAM!!

Greeted by friendly and helpful attendant, then combine that with a great carwash, YAY! Easy to get through and vacuum slots are awesome!

I have used this multiple times and it never gets my truck clean the first time or second and yes with the mirrors in. I’ve asked each time for the attendees to scrub with a brush and I just get ignored. I have written complaints through there web site with no response. Even though it’s convenient from my house. Never again!

This place was great and I loved the colorful soap. So fun for kids!

I asked the employee as I was entering the car wash if he would use the scrubber to get some oil off the side of my car, he did not remove it. The next day I noticed in the morning there was spots all over my windshield that was difficult to get off. Im pretty sure it was the wax spray residue.

The car gets cleaned pretty good, somethings it doesnt get are the mirrors and the front of the car it doesnt get all the bugs off. Otherwise still a good price.

This is a great carwash. Today they didnt brush the back which they usually do and it was still dirty. Otherwise would have given 5 stars.

I have been a member for 4 months. In that time I have had the wrong wash multiple times, I was stuck inside for about two minutes one time. The machine just stopped moving. Today was the end for me. I drove my car towards the wash entry. The young man did not bother directing my car until it crashed into the rail on the driver front wheel. It knocked of my hubcap. The young man handed me the hubcap without apology. I understand that there is risk using this machinery. But the approach you can not see where you are supposed to be driving. The young man was not attentive and my car got damaged. Yes, minor damage. But this is a brand new 2021 car. There are other places you can wash your car, I will be using those from now on.

It is a very expensive car wash and when you pay for the premium one your car still comes out with dirt and bugs. Not great for the price. They do offer free vacuums which is nice.

They scratched up the roof and trunk of my car. Denied my claim because their employees aimlessly pointed at my car stating the scratches were there when we checked my car before going into the car wash. I had no scratches until immediately after

I always pay for the most they offer but I always end up receiving the cheapest option. I have given them 6 chances and won’t be returning as each time I have been cheated out of $6 which adds up. And my car usually doesn’t come out clean and I don’t have time to run back through. Staff is pleasant though. Just wish I got what I paid for and came out clean the first time.

Always pay for the best wash and never gets my truck or suburban clean. The back always looks like it wasn’t even touched. So not worth it if you have large rigs. Maybe they wash smaller vehicles well?🤷🏻‍♀️

Im pretty disappointed for it being so new. The car wash tends to leave parts of my car dirty. They will however send you through the was again. The vacuums are pretty great. Smaller attachments and more suction gets more of the hard to reach places!

This car wash has progressively gotten worse. I just went through and the brushes barely touched my passenger door. The rinse process rarely gets the soap off and the young men and women out front sometimes dont even have time to brush off the heavily soiled areas. I think theyre in to big of a hurry.

Great service. Mediocre quality car wash. So many missed spots on my SUV. Even streaky dirty door panels. Its ok for a quicky in and out. But for a quality wash... I would rather spend my money wisely and do it right myself.

Even those this car wash is brand new, they charge $14-$18 but most cas washes in town who have better prices actually use a brush on your rear panel and bumpers, tires, decal, that is where road grime will not be removed simply by driving through. Last time through for me!

The service was good, but the wash quality was horrible. We went through the first time and it did not wash the back of our car at all. Went through again after the manager noticed the bad wash job and have us a second run through. The second was not much better than the first back of car still had dust as did driver and passenger doors and mirrors. Very dissatisfied

Out of the 5 employees we encountered 4 didn’t have face mask on or they were using them as chin straps! The car wash broke while we were inside and had to wait for them to fix it. In addition our car is covered in soap suds and barley even clean. Will not be returning! This is why covid-19 keeps spreading.

Subpar exterior wash, several missed spots. Vacuums had such little suction I had to go finish the inside of my car at another car wash. Wash was $18 and had to go pay more elsewhere to get my car actually clean. Would not recommend

This is hands down the best car wash in Central Oregon. It always gets my vehicles (pickup and cars) clean. No other car washes can do this in Central Oregon.Regarding all the bad reviews, people need to understand that car washes have a risk of damage to cars. Always. Every single car wash anywhere. While the staff is more than willing to try and help, there really is no liability for them unless their machines malfunction. This is the industry standard for car washes.

This place is great! I have never used the car wash part but their high powered vaccumes and air nozzles are AMAZING. and its only $2 to vacuum out your vehicle with no irritating time limits (unless ppl are waiting, then its 5 min) like other automated vacuums. Just pull up, pay the attendent, grab 1 of about 20 nozzles and start vacuuming. I live in a very dusty area so having the ability to blow out my vents and other crevices and take my time on my vehicle is amazing.

Car washed severely scratched paint and the owner would not fix the damage nor believe that it happened. Do not recommend this car wash!Not only is your response below unprofessional, apparently this companies idea of quality service does not include accepting responsibility for damaging vehicles. Let this be a warning to all, stay clear of this car wash !

The manager and assistant manager work to ensure the well-being of both the staff and customers while they are at the wash. Having worked at many places which dont offer this kind of commitment to satisfaction, Ive got nothing but good things to say about this place!

Came through the car wash for the first time today with my RSX and noticed after the wash that the back of my car was scratched by the machine.....

Never actually made it through. The track broke a few minutes before I pulled up. I felt bad for the cars that were stuck on the track and came out with soap all over them in hot temperatures. Im glad I wasnt there 5 minutes earlier, I really dont have an experience to actually rate but Ill give it 5 stars because they didnt make us sit there, they directed us to the exit.

Its super convenient and love the vacuums and monthly packages. Only reason its 4 stars is because sometimes i have to go through twice

Poor customer service moved out of the state 3 monts ago and im still Still Still getting charge a service that I canceled three months ago my car got all scratched up for going Through the car wash which means they don’t clean that place up properly I do not recommend this place to anyone

CAR WASHERS BEWARE. This was such a bad experience I dont really know where to start. I had just purchased a new (to me) vehicle a couple weeks prior to running through the wash. It had an amazing detail and a perfect polish on black paint but obviously was dirty. I normally only go through touchless car washes, and to be honest dont understand why all automatic car washes arent touchless.So the first question I asked upon driving up to the customer service kiosk is if the car wash was touchless because I couldnt tell from the street. I was informed, yes it was. However upon pulling up to the actual enclosed car wash section, I could clearly tell it was NOT touchless. Immediately 2 men starting brushing the front of the car, in a side to side motion (the opposite direction of the automatic brushes). I was not terribly concerned yet because after all, I had decent experiences with normal brush style automatic car washes such as the Red Carpet or Gorilla here in Bend.Once in the middle of the wash, I was surprised at how little liquid was being used and how incredibly fast the brushes were moving. But again, I was thinking this is a pretty new facility and they must know how to safely, properly clean a car.I could see another shiny black vehicle in front of me that looked fine so I was on my way, thinking the task at hand was complete. To my incredible dismay once getting the vehicle home, it was obvious this was a car wash gone wrong. There were numerous places on the vehicle where I could drag and catch a fingernail in a scratch, a telltale sign the scratch had gone through the clearcoat. Also, the entire vehicle was now covered in long arcing swirls and microscratches. Every clear morning we have with the sun rising from the East and shining on the vehicle in the driveway, I am reminded of this regretful car wash with the sun showing off the swirls and scratches just right. To be clear, most of the swirls and microscratches will come out with a full polish and wax, but that is a $200+ expense that would not have been incurred if it wasnt for this car wash. There are a couple small scratches that I am probably left with forever unless the vehicle was to have major paint correction or be repainted.I did take the vehicle back to Surf-Thru Express a day or two later to show what happened. A gentleman took pictures, filled out a claim report and mentioned that ownership (located in California) would get back to me. Weeks passed, I never heard anything. Which tells me they just dont care.The weirdest thing about the whole experience is that I had forgotten my wallet but was ushered in for free. I offered to come back and pay but the girl handling payments said dont worry about it. When filling out the claim, they acted like this was a major obstacle. I cant imagine why, at the end of the day this car wash is responsible for damages and frustration that would not have happened if I had just stuck with my guns and went through a different car wash.I cannot recommend this facility at all, wish I had never gone, they did not follow through on a chance to make it right and overall I am incredibly disappointed and frustrated with the whole ordeal.

Your Bend location blew a cover off my car and the manager didn’t bother searching for the part for (by his own admission) 2 weeks despite us contacting the store almost immediately after it happened and 6 more follow up calls. Staff totally irresponsible, unresponsive and never returned calls even when they said they would. Tried to speak with anyone with some responsibility and professionalism and that’s a no go. I am considering small claims at this point. Bad start for a company new to our small community. Word travels fast.

Please do not go here! They don’t clean the brushes on a daily basis and when they do scratch your car they won’t take responsibility. We went through twice because the car was not clean after the first wash. Once our car was finally clean. We noticed two good sized scratches on our passenger doors parallel to each other as well as other scuff marks so we talked to the manager he filed our claim and said he would be back to us within the next day or two. Which he failed to do so we called the store and they had the assistant manager inform us that they would not reimburse us for the damages that their machine caused.

Bought $14 package deal. First time here. The vehicle wasnt clean. Circled back thru was able to go again. Still not clean and gave up. Hopefully, they get the two guys to do a better pre scrub.

No 0 star option, after telling the worker where to grab and fold my mirrors was told they would take care of it and have done it before, then the kid nearly broke my mirror folding it in doing it a 180 degrees and leaving it half way out and at most vulnerable angle for it to be snapped off. Also I never get my 1/2 off receipts for my next wash after 10+ washes I’m pretty upset, especially when my girlfriend gets one every time.

I started going to Surf Thru when they opened. I think their staff are very friendly and helpful. My car comes out clean and on occasion when there are lots of bugs in the front they give me a free rewash. I love this car wash and won’t go to any other car washes now. It is a real plus to have free vacuums. It doesn’t take long to go through the wash and lines move quickly. This car wash has been a plus for the east side. Keep up the good work!

Nice facility and good price for a wash. No time limits on the vacuums either so you dont feel rushed cleaning out the inside of your car.

Pretty fast to get through for a quick clean. I almost always have some dirt or bug grime that isnt removed.

This place is a bargain. The staff is nice and the equipment always seems to clean well. The downside is that I havent noticed a huge difference between the $8 package and the $13 package. Overall though I keep going and will continue to do so.

I visited for the first time ever yesterday 12/10/18 and was greeted by a very kind and helpful young man named Moses. He informed me of a holiday special where you buy 3 of their best washes and get 3 free! Moses happily sold me 6 of the holiday specials. This is the best wash in town! Will definitely be returning and perhaps get myself a membership.

Pretty good, not great though. There was some green chemical dripping from one side ( cleaner or ?) of my truck, no harm done. Very fast, friendly staff and cost for this wash was 11 bucks. Great price!

I came for a car wash and I handed them a 20$ and they didn’t have change for me so they gave me a voucher for 9.00$ and I didn’t know my own change had a expiration date and when I came through again they didn’t want to honor the voucher. Horrible management and basically kept my change! DONT COME HERE

After a long wait in line they were friendly but way overpriced and my car was still very dirty.

This place has the best vacuuming area. Love the air guns for blowing out crevices. Unfortunately like most automatic washes the people at the beginning need to scrub the front end better. Ive ran through twice and still had bugs on the front. And I wash weekly so its not like theres a ton there that have sat forever.

This car wash is awesome. The staff are friendly. The car wash is state of the art and gets the car very, very clean. The detail area is top notch. Vacuums are powerful and well placed. It has air hose with a nozzle to blow out your car. It has a floor mat cleaner (this is an extra $2 cash only) that works very, very well. This place is what a self service car wash should be and in my opinion is a bargain at $13. Once word of this place spreads around I think there will be lots of worried detail shops. For a self service car wash at this price point it is an excellent, excellent top of the line facility. Very happy with my experience.

When you pay for the most expensive wash it will only give you the cheapest one
