My tech, Fred I think is his name, was incredible. We have are capacitor replaced every few years, but this was the first time my unit issues were described to me. His explanation made perfect sense and his recommendation to clean my unit outside is valued. Great job!

I had a great experience with the company. My HVAC Technician, Fred (an Army Veteran), was phenomenal, and a model of professionalism and expertise. He walked me through the whole process as he worked, explaining the things he was doing as he went along (Which was very valuable to me as a first-time Homeowner). Although he mentioned the annual service that was available, it was not in the vein of a pushy salesman. You can tell he wasnt being obligated to sell you extra services, which made the experience all the more genuine. It was evident, that he cared greatly about giving the best possible service, which made me trust him and the company to be honest brokers.I highly recommend Rhode Air Conditioning for HVAC Maintenance and services, and I will definitely re-use the Company in the future.... and will be getting their Annual Service plan (when I rent out the house after PCSing here shortly).

Fair and prompt service. The technician let me know it was a small problem easily fixed rather than fawning a larger repair was necessary. Another time, they helped me diagnose a problem over the phone that I could fix myself. High points for honesty.

The folks at Rhode AC & Heating were great from start to finish. I just booked an appointment online. The sales person “Ralph” love you man, came by and surveyed my home. We spoke about what my family needed and disliked about our current system. The sales team contacted me within about two hours by phone and email with an estimate of what it would take to give my family an updated system. We set a time mind you this all happened in about two days. It was awesome. The guys came in and removed my old system and showed me some of the design flaws in the older system and how the technology has evolved to be more efficient. So day one the Rhode team removed my entire system ac unit outside, all duct work in my attic, plus the furnace and air handler in my attic space. On day two they installed the new system outside and inside my attic space. Plus, they did this right before our major snow / ice storm hit on February 11th. It was great! The new system was installed just in time before the temperatures fell. The new heat pump system worked as designed. Things froze over outside. I just selected the option on my Ecobee thermostat inside to go to auxiliary heat and the system never missed a beat. My family and I felt very fortunate that the Rhode Team came when they did. I highly recommend these guys for anything you need done regarding your AC or Heat concerns. I am a fan of quality work. I will only do business with Rhode AC & Heat going forward. Just to give you some details we have a small home only 1275 square feet 4bedroom two bath. The system we got is a Carrier Performance 16 SEER / 3 Ton Heat Pump two stage system with a new Eco Bee thermostat plus all new air duct work. It performs like a dream. Even in extreme cold temperatures.

My coils froze Friday night, I called at 8:30 Saturday morning I was given a quote without asking for the service call and had a tech at my house in 2 hours. They were very thorough and checked all of the unit and topped off the refrigerant and it was back to blowing cold before noon.

I had my system replaced in early spring 2020. Very pleased with the service and installation. I had friends who used other installers and their system was not installed correctly. I havent had any issues and I am very pleased with my choice.

He provided me with an estimate and details of install including warranty details and answered all of my questions. Jacob and Ty were punctual with arriving on install date and time, efficiently and professionally managed the job. They went over proper care and maintainace of all parts and service too! Sarah called to establish payment and invoice details while the technicians were finishing up. Fred Rhode is a life saver! We utilized his service for an emergent repair to our HVAC when our AC went out on a 100+ degree day. We called after hours and was able to have him come out first thing the next day. He was professional and very kind. He explained the repairs that needed to be done and was able to fix the AC quickly. We truly appreciate the work that he did. I would highly recommend his service to anyone!

I called to get AC maintenance as my Ac wasnt cooling like expected. They were responsive and had someone come out the same day. The technician told me there was a leak and it would cost X amount to have fixed and for that price, I may want to consider a new AC. I told him Id like to consider a new AC and he said ok and that someone would call me from company- I had no problems with the technician!Somebody called the next day and when discussing he asked if I was gonna pay cash or finance. I told him that it depends on cost of unit, etc. I said Id be available the following day for an estimate around 1030/11. He told me he needs to check his schedule and that he will call back. Well, he never called back. IDK if it was bc I wasnt sure about financing vs cash or what. Regardless, we need a new AC and they couldnt respond back for a $7000 job. We ended up going with another local company who was responsive and gave them our business instead.

If you are looking for great customer services in a timely manner and honesty.. then Rohde is who you should call. Eric came out and educated me about my unit and replaced a coil. Two weeks later Mr. Fred came out because my defrost board went out. I called super early due to a hot night. He came right out and once again Mr. Fred took the time to educate me. Then Raul came out to give a quote for a unit in which he never pressured me to buy, but educated me even more about my unit. The BEST service I have received when it comes to my ac unit.

The gentleman that came out to give me an estimate got upset that he could not access my attic and told me to use one of my other companies who gave me an estimate. So I won’t be using them.

We had Fred who came by. He was amazing. He was quickly responsive and professional. As he was doing things he would walk us through what he was doing and showed us the pieces that need replaced.Highly recommend Fred as your tech coming out. Very happy with him and the services.

A friend highly recommended Josh Rohde and his company Rohde AC & Heating. I called and spoke to Sarah and requested someone to come check my AC unit as it wasnt cooling properly. Donny and his helper Tristan came within an hour of my call to the office. I was very pleased with Donnys knowledge and his attention to detail in servicing and checking my complete cooling and heating units. I signed up for their annual contract and look forward to their service in the future.

After putting of getting a maintenance plan for my AC. I decided to go with Rohde Air Conditioning and Heating since my mom would not stop bragging about them. Donnie showed up right on time. He took the time to show and explain everything he was doing. He did not rush the job, he made sure that everything checked out. We were having a freon problem with our central ac unit. We called a bunch of places, before deciding on rohdes a.c. Our tech, Fred was very professional, honest and very nice. Numerous neighbors recommendations led us to Rohde air conditioning & heating!! The technician, Ted Reynolds with Rohde came by to diagnose what Jam Air did to our condenser unit. They were able to get the compressor running again & put freon in our unit at NO CHARGE! While Jam Air was trying to take our perfectly fine unit & sell us (According to Joe with Jam Air) the cheapest available unit for $1,750.00 & in his graciousness, Joe stated that he would let us pay him on payments. Plus I paid him $250 to clean inside coils and almost burn up compressor outside! Beware of Jam Air if you value your money and your home and you dont want a sauna for a home! Rohde air conditioning & heating charged us nothing for the call & for some freon! Rohde air conditioning & heating has restored my faith in ac companies! They are the company to call for sure! My air conditioner was not cooling well and I did not know who to call as I have not lived in this area very long. Fred came out within 45 minutes of calling Rhode. He was very professional and knowledgeable. He diagnosed the problem within in just a few minutes, showed me the issue and explained the cause to me, then completed the repair. The whole process took less than an hour to complete. He was very thorough in checking out the AC unit, ensuring there were no other issues. This was our first time using Rhode but we will use them from now on.

When your A/C goes out in the middle of the summer it is a serious problem, your house quickly becomes uninhabitable. Rohde answered the phone and showed up to diagnose the problem promptly. It was the fan motor that blows the cool air into the house. Not complicated, I have replaced that myself in the past. Usually a $400-500 repair, the motors generally cost under $200.But they informed me that this was an expensive motor and they had to order it. The next day it arrived and they installed it, charged about $1000! I did some quick checking on the internet, could have bought that exact motor for $275 but Rohde bought it from Carrier for almost $700. So I fault them for costing me at least $400 more than it should have.

Signed a maintenance contract and they have already called to schedule an appointment to check the equipment before the cold weather hits! Great group of people!!! I don’t post reviews often, but this is one I am very happy to write since it’s been a bit since my service. I met Mr. Donny in the store while I was looking at AC window units because my central air in my house just went out. He was very polite, talked with me about what it was doing and referred me to this company. I called the next day to schedule an appointment with him. He came out, took his time to look over my whole unit (inside and out) he didn’t rush his way through the job and looked for every cause of my AC going out. He got it running again and in the end gave me some advice to help me out through the summer until I save a little to replace my unit! Very very happy with this service and will use again should something else go wrong! Highly Recommend!
