Unfortunately I have had a very negative experience with this company as a whole. When going through the challenging process of finding good trauma therapy this was beyond disappointing. Amanda was amazing and hope they will find a way to renew her work visa. The other two I found cold an insincere.

Lara is an amazing counselor. She has helped me deal with some very difficult situations in my life. She has also helped me to deal with divorce, remarriage, retirement, death and other issues. Laramaintains a non judgemental attitude. She does know me well enough now though to remind me when Iam looking at things in an unrealistic way.I like her style. She has much experience to draw on.When I leave an appt with her I usually have goalsI can work on. I know I can talk to Lara about anysubject. She will listen intently. She won’t be shocked. If I can’t think of a solution for a situation she helps me to think of one if it is possible.I feel very greatful to have her as my therapist.

I feel so blessed to know Dr. Jean Weng this summer during my internship at Seattle. Dr. Weng is so professional, and she is very wise and amiable. Moreover, during the meetings, she has provided me with so much guidance by sharing her life stories selflessly. Every time after the meeting, I feel that I know myself more, and I could find new ways and new perspectives to face the challenges and setbacks in life, and I just find it a great joy talking to her.I came in to learn about skills for controlling emotions, and skills for building positive and healthy relationships. It is far beyond my expectation that I can learn so many valuable things and life lessons through the meetings with Dr. Weng. I appreciate Dr. Wengs words of wisdoms. I am so grateful for her time, and I consider this connection a valuable gift. I would definitely recommend meeting with Dr. Jean Weng to anyone who seeks help on mental health.

I came in with suffering from panic attacks and high anxiety. Lara Symonds was such a huge help for me. She was able to give me some concrete steps to help eliminate and manage my anxiety. She also was extraordinary at contextualizing the therapy for my belief system and faith in Jesus. She really is a top notch therapist and I would recommend her to anyone who needs help with anxiety or depression.

I would absolutely not recommend using this business for therapeutic counseling. I would particular advise against using the therapist Lydia Deleon. I will explain why.1. I have a 17-year-old daughter that was in crisis. She was in need of genuine therapeutic counseling.2. This particular counselor appears to be very sincere at first. My daughter had developed a connection with her and seemed to be receptive to counseling.3. This is where the problems began. This counselor on her own began increasing the frequency of visits with my daughter. Going from once every two weeks to twice a week. In addition to this increase frequency she became more and more secretive as to my daughters therapy sighting HEPPA rules.I found this to be very unusual because of my previous experiences most counselors want to involve the family as a whole in the counseling healing process.4. Long story short under the care of this therapist Ms. De Leon my daughter’s condition deteriorated. She ended up getting worse and being twice hospitalized.5. The initial impression of sincere caring about my daughters health by Ms. DeLeon. Was all an act. When the hospital contacted her to let her know that my daughter was with them she almost acted as if she didn’t even know my daughters name. Additionally when I had later conversations with Ms. De Leon not once did she inquire as to how my daughter was doing. Only about getting paid for her services. So in summary again I would not recommend Optimal Wellness and in specific, Ms.De Leon.A. My daughters condition deteriorated under their:her care. The therapy did not work.B. She does not or did not sincerely care about there patients wellbeing.C. They seemingly used frequency of treatment not for the benefit of the patient but for their financial benefit of being able to bill twice a week instead of every other week. Her treatment regiment frequency seems to be financially driven instead of patient welfare driven.D. She: they did a completely unacceptable job of keeping all members of the family involved in the healing process.Bottom line, word to the wise, take your business elsewhere.
