Posting because the property deserves more stars. The new management at the place - especially Kendall - are working hard to make residents experiences a good one. We had some issues with our unit on move in but they have been resolved in a friendly and efficient manner. Love the neighborhood, quiet but also with a good community feel.

We moved in last week and this place has been awesome so far. Kendall has been so helpful, really responsive, and has made our move to Sofi seamless and easy. The apartment was clean, freshly painted, and quiet. Great access to the Factoria Mall as well.

Current resident here. I’m not going to focus on all the shoddy jobs everyone’s been doing at this apartment complex today.We submitted a request to get something fixed in the apartment and they sent a maintenance crew consisted of someone who isn’t vaccinated. He came in with his mask half on and touched door knobs, door handles, etc. All while we have a new born at home.Sofi is so irresponsible sending someone who’s not vaccinated into residents’ homes. They didn’t even notify us. We had to ask the maintenance crew whether they are vaccinated. As soon as we found out the maintenance staff is not vaccinated, we asked him to leave.Such irresponsible apartment management. I hope everyone who lives here will be informed of vaccination status before going into people’s homes.

I thought the new management would be better but oh boy am I diabolically wrong. The new property manager Jun is absolutely incompetent when it comes to his job. He even had the audacity to accuse my mom of a mistake that’s actually made by him. His incompetence paired with his attitude make him the worst candidate for the job. He is not helping and his response always make the tenants feel inferior.Time to move into the next management company or search for a new place.TL;DR Sofi is not worth it. The apartments are old and walls are thin. Kids play on the driveways and management is a joke

I have been here for a year. the place is very nice, very clean and very quiet.the best thing about it is the administrators, they are very responsive and very polite and they do their best to help.the house from the inside is very nice and clean. the appliances are new or in a very good shape to use

I stayed here for about a year. Newly renovated apartment units, reasonably responsive management and maintenance. Some burglary concerns, so valuables should not be left in the car.There is a mandatory cleaning fee, etc. which is automatically take the deposit when leaving the property at the end of contract.I accidentally overpaid an additional month rent, the manager notified me and get rid of the check. An honest and well run business, just need to be sure youre aware of the fine prints.The location is superb, it is close to stores, downtown and trail entry at Coal Creek. Hard to find another one with such a well rounded living space.

We have been living at Sofi for 4 years (since 2015..). Support staffs and Manager are very co-operative. All maintenance issues are addressed in a day or two. I really love Sofis well maintained gym and the pool. Conducive to calm living community, having easy access to Factoria marketplace, Tyee middle school, Newport high school, I90 and 405. I will highly recommend Sofi for the safe living.

Maintenance team is extremely unreliable. I have nothing personal against them however it seems they simply do not know how to do their job.The emergency maintenance line went straight to voicemail. I learned this the hard way when my hot water tank failed. Which they still havent come back to finish the job like they said they would and i havent been able to use my front door closet in weeks! Along with the fact that there are is still parts from the old tank they left on the stairs and apparently nobody does grounds here and checks for trash because those parts have been sitting there for weeks. -i digress)when you call them and they dont response to maintenance requests in a timely manner and if they eventually come they break more than they fix.Im not exaggerating. Every single time the maintenance team has come to my unit they break something. Install something incorrectly or just dont come at all.Management does not stay on top of this. They can say they will take care of it every time i talk to them but have zero follow through.This isnt just for little things this is about big stuff too. My toilet is so loose it rocks back and forth about 15 degrees both ways.Maintenance came once but didnt know what they were doing. They just put a bead of silicone around the toilet without even shimming, and/or tightening the bolts and didnt check to make sure the wax ring is still good which i doubt it is with that much movement meaning its very likely my downstairs neighbors are in for a nasty surprise.Edit: Before i moved in i asked if i needed to be on the lease and i was told it was not a issue. I have been in contact with management. On many many occasions. I was asked to take down this review which i did however there was still no work that was done so i reposted it.

I have lived here for a year now, and its a great place, very quiet apartment complex. Very reserved. And when I had any issues with things that broke they were very good at coming shortly after to fix whatever was broken. If you are looking for a quiet comfortable place then this place is for you! Walking distance to grocery stores and other shopping centers. Its conveniently located right by factoria mall.

This is worst apartments I have ever lived at. I do not recommend anyone to stay here and why? Here are few of the reasons-1. Poor maintenance services.If you will send an email, it will get unanswered and if you will call, it will never be answered.2. Every other day you will be needing maintenance for door knobs, doors to be fixed .. yeah complete doors fell off in my case3. No cleaning done, when you rent an apartment. Kitchen, Patio and washroom were given in very bad shape. I had to ask them to clean it.4. On top of all these issues, you will be charged almost a month rent as final move out fee because while leaving you will be expected to fix the issues that apartment already had.Please do yourself a favor and do not opt for this community.

We recently moved in and I love our apartment, very clean and updated. Very family type community. New maintenance staff that is very friendly and prompt. Office staff very nice.

My experience has been nothing but positive! Management has always been polite, easy to talk to, and quickly addressed any concerns Ive had. I think Bellevue is a great place to live, Ive always felt safe.

WORST Place to LIVE (Period). I submitted a maintenance request and Year after i left the place this is what i got. What a JOKE

Do not live here! When I moved here I thought it would be a nice quiet place to live. Unfortunately I was unaware of the insane crime that plagues this apartment complex. Since Ive been here my room mates car was broken into along with about 15 other cars over the course of our 9 months here. Additionally, actual residences in this apartment complex have been consistently broken into and robbed. Every week we learn of new break-ins and cars broken into on the property. The maintenance guys work truck was broken into and had his tools stolen while he was doing repairs in a residence. If you dont want to worry about your things being stolen consider another apartment.

International moving is always nervous in that Im expected to be put in different cultures and different systems. In that sense, I was lucky that I met a professional lease consultant such as Alec at sofi sommerset. He is like a swiss army knife who has helped me to set up everything step by step with a customers side.In general, satisfied. So far so good ...

Worth renting experience ever.I used to live there for 3 years (2015-2018). While I stayed, there were many constructions and repair works at apartments and they were sending notes regarding prior enters apartment almost every month, which was very inconvenient. When they were repainting all buildings in July, they closed all windows for a couple days, so we didn’t have excess to fresh air, moreover, paint’s smell longed for a couple of weeks. My car which was parked at the designated parking lot was painted by careless workers, as well as my belongings in a storage, which was located on a balcony of my apartments. Management mentioned that painting company was at fault, and that they can’t help me to fix a problem, but can provide contact information only. It took me 2 months to negotiate with another company about covering costs to fix my brand-new car. Finally, they covered only 200 USD, and refused to cover rear plastic fender replacement which would cost them couple more hundreds.We also had to wait for a week to get a toilet been fixed. Office recommended using the second toilet we had, because their technicians had other 2 orders from other customers, and then they forgot about my order.Finally, when we left apartments, management requested to pay 471.61 USD in addition to 200 USD refundable deposit they kept, and in addition to 400 USD non-refundable deposits, explaining that they had to replace a carpet, and it was after we stayed there for 3 years and the carpet was thin and cheap. They didnt accept it as a natural ware. I have paid above mentioned 471.61 USD, and insisted to get a copy of my receipt with a date and name of the manager who accepted my bank check.After a month I got a call from intermediate company (didn’t write their name), who started to threaten me by collectors and by spoiling my credit score if I don’t pay 471.61 USD. They received that request from Pinnacle living Seattle who is an owner of Sofi at Somerset.I called to Sofi many times (there is always no one at the office, so if you have some issues – have to wait a long) and spoke to a person who tried to follow up my case, but never did, who mentioned that her manager has arrived at the office then she didn’t arrive yet…… Then manager Allison without any excuse for the troubles they made to me by mistake of one of their managers, and in a rude form recommended me to contact collectors directly, mentioning that its not their problem, but mine.I have never seen such a bad customer service and non-professionalism as I met at Sofi at Somerset.So, think twice before considering Sofi at Somerset as a place to live.

I have been staying here for more than a year and with in that time my apartment was robbed all my valuable things are gone and this happen in a day light. And then i realized there are other two apartment robbery in the same day which is bizarre and also my car got broken and they stole alot of stuff from my car. And unfortunately we couldnt even leave because our contract is not over yet. i dont understand why anyone wants to live here, since safety is the basic necessity above anything. The fact that is not cool is when we call to the rental office they said they are not aware of any robbery since last year and just in my apartment there was two reports....its very amazing.i will give you another reason, maintenance people are very rude and unorganized. one time i put for a service and the guy did one task and told me he will be back but never did for like 3 weeks.i am pretty sure they will take my deposit when i leave, i am just waiting and see what reason they will give me.i can list many things honestly but for the price the are making us pay its sooo...not worth living here so do your self a favor and go another place.

I am currently staying in this Apt. Maintenance is very poor in this society . And Maintenance guy is very - very rude and impolite when he visit home for maintenance work. WE are paying quite a high rent and getting such a poor treatment. Not worth renting...
