I went to get my nails done for the first time at DJ Nails. I walked in there with very low expectation. I was seated at Winwins station. She started on time and did a phenomenal job on my nails. She did everything I asked for with no attitude. I am so pleased with how my nails turned out. I highly recommend setting an appointment with her.

Ive been going here for years. I make all my appointments with milan she is sweet and fast. Shes nice and does the best hand designs. She has all kinds of stones and stickers. I get my pedi with anyone available they are all pretty good. The owner is also very nice and accommodating. I wouldSuggest you call in advance and schedule a appointment. They call you to confirm your appointment the day before . They are great here.

I went to Dj Nails. These are my nails not even 48hrs later. So sad. I have NEVER experienced this. Ive been growing my nails for weeks. And now look at them after that careless nail tech got her hands on them. She did so many things wrong, i can list them.No cleaning.No filingNo buffingDidnt nip my cuticleUsed the drill. Very rough and left my nails tender n sensitiveNo lotionNo massageBulky n bumpy finished lookDidnt paint the edges.Im honestly very upset. Idk what to do.

My appointment was for 3pm and they started doing my nails at 3:45… The lady lasted 5 minutes counted doing my gel manicure.. did not clean my nails, just shaped them and had an attitude. & the worst part did not paint my nails good, had nail polish all over my skin.Gel pedicure! Did not clean my feet good and the massage was 5 seconds long!Not going there again, Ill rather pay a little more and get treated better.

I love it there, Mulan & Sofia are amazing. They are humble and always makes sure Im comfortable.And of course my nails are always on point.

Awesome place they do nails super good. I’m from upstate New York and have been getting my nails done for years so when moving to New Jersey the most difficult thing for me was finding a good nail salon that does your nails to your liking. Not “Oh thats your nail it do like that.” They’re great at following directions and if you have a picture it nearly comes out exactly like the picture which is pretty impressive to me. Wait can be a little long at times but it’s worth the wait. 5 star all the way.

I’m beyond disgusted with this place. My usual nail tech from a different salon had a family emergency the day I had my appointment and I had an event the next morning so in emergency I came to this nail salon. I have long coffin nails and asked for a fill-in. They took me right away. I’m a nail tech myself so I was observing everything she was doing. If there was something I didn’t like she did it with no problem but it didn’t really end up measuring to my liking. I wasn’t satisfied when I left but after being there for over 3 hours for just a fill and a pedi right after I needed to go being as though I had a lot to get don’t for my next day event. Also, I didn’t really like that another customer sitting next to me pointed out that they weren’t being sanitary with their waxing as she was observing another tech doing another customers eyebrows and they all wanted to gang up on her for speaking truth. 3 weeks go by and I finally get to see my original nail tech. Let me tell you how I wanted to die as she was taking my polish off each nail. The beginning of FUNGUS on each nail except for 2. This has never happened to me before and I’m very picky about my nails so my eyes were literally watering more and more as she went on. Thank goodness that my original nail tech knows the right steps to take in order to fix this quick. I would never go back to this salon. I tried to post a pic but for some reason it keeps getting erased

I went and got a fill-in with gel nail polish and freehand design it was supposed to be 35 and they charged me 50 it was my last time going there

Asked for an elephant design, she didnt know how but we looked it up and she did a great job. My nails lasted for three weeks. Saw a different lady who I could see while she was doing my acrylic that it would be another nice set. You get what you pay for ;) and Im not disappointed.

I went to DJ nails after 5 years of not going here for the first time yesterday. I got a pedicure. The first thing I didn’t like was the staff laughs at upset customers and they gang up on customers if you say something. I realize they don’t appreciate new business only loyal customers who have been going to them for years. Then when I got my pedi I noticed it wasn’t very clean and they seemed toUse the same materials they may have used on previous clients. I stopped going 5 years ago now and only went yesterday for an emergency as my salon was packed after work. I will never go back no respect and not very clean.

Wait wasn’t long and the lady who did my toes did good. But I noticed that they don’t clean the tubs after each customer. After I finished they put another guest in the seat. That to me is a turn off and probably won’t return because of that. This was my first time coming and after seeing that I’m not interested in coming back. That has made me rate them 2 stars.

1st time there and my pedicure and nails came out excellent. Ive been searching for a good place and finally Ive landed one that I feel satisfied with.

Young lady was nice. Towel for pedicure was stained. No hot towel put on my hands. They used the same pedicure chair on s someone else without cleaning it.

Most unprofessional staff . Lisa absolutely does a horrible job in training her staff and trying to satisfy her customers . The women that work there laugh at upset customers and do absolutely nothing to help eachother . Not mention the place has becomr unsanitary and the woman do not clean up or keep utensils clean while management is not present . Poor poor poor business. They should all be inspected for appropriate licenses .

I had the worst most degrading experience of my life here. Would not recommend at all. Plus my nails were ruined hours after I left. To start off the ladies forgot to show me the nail color options, but showed every other guest. Then when I was presented them the person who did my nails was on her phone the whole time texting. I am not even sure what her face looked like from how much she was using it. She then proceeded to talk about myself and other guests with her collegues in another language laughing and insulting us. Little did she know I speak 8 languages and understood everything. The final straw was when I, despite my friends objections, went to give the lady a generous tip and whilst I was handing her the bill, she did not even look up from her phone or acknowledge me. At this point other guests were starring in shock I said excuse me and she finally ripped it from my hands without saying so much as a thank you. THERE ARE SO MANY BETTER PLACES TO GET YOUR NAILS DONE. DO YOURSELF A HUGE FAVOR AND DO NOT GO HERE.

Ive been going here for 10 years ! I have moved and I travel 25 minutes because you cant beat the prices and how perfect your nails come out. I refuse to go anywhere else.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I had to give it one star because google wont allow me to post without doing so. However, its zero stars for me. Worst place ever.I spent the worst $26 for a regular manicure and pedicure in this place. Not only did the girl rush through the whole process so she can have her lunch, she also messed up in so many ways. Heres the rundown:Did not use hot towels on manicure or pedicureWashed the pumice with the same water used on my pedicure (disgusting)Towels were stained and looked worn outDid not massage foot or calf muscle (Every place I go to does this)Sent me off on my own to dry nails ( I had to turn machine on for hands and feet)Did not use hot stones (Most places do, these days)Missed a chunk of each nail on the big toes, when applied nail color. I did not notice until I got home.I went in on a Monday, nails on hands and feet started to chip on Thursday of the same week.It gets better...For manicure I like my cuticles pushed and cut.First, she put a napkin on the table and soaked it with water. Then, she put my hands inside a glass bowl with cold water only! She proceeded to use the machine to cut off my cuticles. They should have the courtesy to ask the client if its ok to use the machine on their hands and feet first. She never used the warm towels on my hands, did not massage, nor did she apply lotion. Heres the best part, with my nails still dirty from using the machine on my cuticles and filing, she proceeded to paint my nails.I was in such disbelief of the whole thing. I always do my own manicure and pedicure, however, once in a while I like to go and pamper myself. This place reminded me why I should keep on doing my own pampering. All they care about is pushing gel manicure and pedicure and suck at taking care of natural nails.

The better business bureau has been contacted. This business will be shut down. They are giving out funguses

Wow, this nail spa is awesome!! The atmosphere is friendly, beautiful, and relaxing.L ove it here, super clean and quiet and so close to my house. they do an amazing job.

I want to say that I used to frequent this nail salon for a while and took a break when a new place closer to me opened up. This business runs in an incredibly dirty manner. The women doing my nails dumped the water from my manicure into the pedicure seat and then told me to put my feet in before cleaning it or filling it with water. They don’t use bags in the foot bath and my feet were incredibly itchy for days after coming here. For my manicure the same women took care of me and she cut every single one of my fingers with the drill and left my skin lifted around my nails. My gel manicure already chipped after one day! I gave them the benefit of the doubt again and was so disappointed. Spider webs were all over the doorway, the carpet was full of nail clippings all over that seem to indicate they don’t vacuum as often as they should. Would never recommend this place, after spending $60 here not including tip I would say it was not worth it.

Ive been coming to this nail salon for about 2 years now and tonight I was very dissappinted...we made it to the nail salon around 6:35 and they Made me an my sister wait for about 20 minutes before telling us they couldnt see us....and kept saying someone was waiting who was not sitting in the nail salon at all....I understand if they would of told us from the beginning they couldnt see us but make us wait and then told us we cant be seened was not a pleasant experience.....so she just lost two good customers who tip good....Im going to let everyone know how unfair they were to us so they can be careful

Ive tried a few places around Belleville/Nutley area and was not pleased by the result but D & J nails did a beautiful job. I got acrylics and they did such a nice job. I definately would recommend this nail salon to anybody in the area.

First visit:I had a professional nail technician give me an excellent mani-pedi. You can tell she is an OG (has a lot of experience) because she perfectly filed and trimmed every one of the nails on my feet/hands. My pedicure has never looked this great. I am thoroughly impressed, which often I am not. The atmosphere of the place is dated and needs some upgrading. However, it is clean, and each one of the technicians seemed eager to please clients with a smile. After I had my pedi, the foot bowl was immediately cleaned afterwards. I would definitely go back again. Regular Mani-Pedi was $26, which isn’t a bad price! They have over 500+ gel colors to select for nail!
