I’ve been going here since high school, 10 years later, and there’s no way I’m going anywhere else!! Tu is my go-to guy, and he always does such a great job! Also, Kim is my fav for pedicures! I’ve recommended this salon to so many people, and will continue doing so!

I am SO GRATEFUL my colleague recommended Sonnys. I looked for the past 2 years for a new nail tech after breaking up with mine after 8 years. Ive seen nail techs/salons that dont understand customer service or how ethical business should run, and this salon is thankfully NOT that.Tali has become my nail tech and as I tell her shes magic. Not only that, but she is patient with me, makes sure I leave happy with my nails, gentle (because my nails are sensitive), and the list goes on. She can do anything you ask for, and because of her kindness, shes earned a loyal customer in me.Super happy I found my forever nail tech. It doesnt matter how far I move; Ill still be there every 3 weeks!

An older woman did my nails, I just asked to get a regular manicure. My nails are bleeding she cut them so short, every nail is crooked. AND THEY STILL WANTED TO CHARGE ME. I do not and would not recommend this place to anyone

Original Post: 5 stars Ive been in the NJ area for 2 years and tried many nail salons. This is the best by far. Fair prices and always quality work. All technicians do consistent great work.Edited: Quality is still great. Love the technicians work... customer service has gone down. No respect for customers time. I started making appts to avoid the issue and still wait over an hour easily. Doesnt work unless you have an entire day free...

The salon is small and tight but very clean. They are very meticulous with their services. I will definitely come back.

Definitely recommend making an appointment to come here. They are always booked because the service they provide is excellent and their prices are reasonable. Ive been coming here for 2 years now and my nail tech Tu is the BEST! My nails always come out looking great and they last. Best salon in Belleville and the surrounding area hands down.

Sonnys is a great place. I got an amazing pedicure, and the people are very nice! Believe it or not I even dropped $20 on the floor at the next time I went in the guy gave it to me. I gave him 10 back as a tip for being honest!!! Thank you Sonnys!!

Can’t beat the price and quality. Tali, Tu and Sonny do the best work. Tali is my favorite of all. Best to call for appointment (if you can get through). Sonny has a very unique personality so do not take him serious. He jokes around a lot. I am very picky with nail salons. I have been to so many through the years but this one has been my favorite for a few years now.

I first went here 4 Weeks ago to get a full set of tips and acrylic wraps with design, not only are they affordable, but their work is awesome! My Nails are still holding up with regular nail growth, I am looking forward to getting back there this weekend for a fill and new design! The whole staff is great, and both Sonny and Anna do great work! I highly recommend this place!!! ;)

I was recommended to them and after getting my nails done three times from them i decided to not go back. Everytime after the third time going they always tell me they cant take me .. Its bad for your business to not serve someone for no reason. Yes your nail service is good but your customer setvice sucks

Customer service is horrible. The price is not worth the quality of the product/work. They NEVER answer the phone. The pedicures are rushed not even a decent massage. They dont properly push back cuticles on a manicure. Everything is rushed and the details are what make the job worth every penny.

The customer service was terrible. I came in there & it was super awkward. In addition, the guy that did my nails did NOT dehydrate my nails to get the oils out (helps it last longer) & he did not push my cuticles back (helps it last longer) . The gel manicure lasted for maybe a week and a couple days & it was easy to remove. Smh. The woman that did my feet acted as though she couldn’t hear me half the time. I will NEVER GO BACK‼️

I will never come back. I went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. The nail tech applied 6 layers of gel to my nails!!!! On top of that the polish looked like globs of paint. The polish on my toes was off from 4 nails within 2 days !! Stay away!

TU is absolutely amazing, with shaping, designs and all100% 5 stars, Ive been doing my nails for about 17 yrs and have never had an experience like with this nail tech, Ill never do my nails anywhere else, and pricing is perfectly fair, especially compared to other salons!

My nails are a mess since going there, I went there for just gel. The guy that was doing my nails had sticky hands, I was nausea. I should of left but my daughter insisted I stay..

They do great work!! BUT it just took me 3 hours to do a gel mani, pedi, and eyebrows, WITH an appointment....I was sitting for an hour before I stood up to leave and thats when the lady told me she would take me next. Someone needs to be in charge of that appointment book because people were serviced before me that came long after I came. That kind of irked me. Anyway, it is worth the wait, but shouldnt have to be that way.

I will NEVER come to this place again I rather eat dog crap than to come here, I went there with my daughter for eyebrow said to the guy BOTH of us wanted one we waited exactly 27 mins, and went up to him asked him how much longer he didnt even reply back to me and told me VERY rudely go to room. We waited lady did my daughters and walks away followed her and said excuse me I wanted one too. The guy argued with me and said u wanted one, screaming at me on top of that I went there to relax not to get treated like garbage . He screamed at me in front of everyone why cuz wasnt spending money to get my feet and nails done?! Im STILL a paying customer who deserves to get treated with decency AND respect! You want to pay people to treat you like garbage and NOT listen or care for your needs then Sonnys CRAP nails is the place to go!!

I dont like the fact that when Im calling for an appointment it takes me 12 tries to get the then not the first time it happens . Has happened to me 3 times before . Better yet good service yet I dont like the fact I have to call so many times .

I would never recommend this place ever. I came in for a manicure and pedicure. The spanish lady who took me in for a pedicure was so incredibly slow I couldnt believe it. She took the previous client out and quickly washed it then filled it and put me there. Its not sanitary at all. She also used tools out of a small plastic container that looked horribly disgusting and not sanitized. This place is so cheap they dont use sanitized or new tools on their clients. I refused the pedicure after the hour and a half it took her to do a pedicure. She left me soaking my feet for 30 minutes while she took two girls in for a wax or whatever. She neglected to update me on what was going on. I didnt even leave her a tip. Dont go here. Its a waste of your time and money. The customer service is awful and the place is filthy. I will be contacting the NJ board about this so they can inspect it themselves.

Expected a gel manicure that would last over two days without chipping. Not only was the nail polish on one finger VERY thick, the manicure PEELED off after two days. Very disappointed and will not return for a gel manicure.

Today I went to this place for my pedicure, manicure & waxing. The only reason I went to this place was because people were raving about it on internet. But honestly speaking, my experience was horrible. The lady who did my pedicure was really slow. Her name was Mary. I got Jelly spa pedicure done. After getting my pedicure done, she took me to their waxing room which was insanely untidy. Such a small tiny room, no place to keep my clothes, wallet, cellphone anything plus dirty towels, dirty wax strips. Above all, that lady had no experience of waxing. She literally burnt my skin. Moreover, she was criticizing her colleagues. No work ethics. I went for my full body wax including legs, bikini, underarms, arms everything, but I was so disappointed that I didnt take any other service & after pedicure & arms waxing, I left that place. Dont waste your time going there.

WORST NAIL SPA IN BELLEVILLE NJ!!!!!!They have preferred customers only. They do not sterilize pedicure instruments.The lady doing my pedicure used the same ONE cotton ball she use to take off my previous nail polish with for the whole course of the pedicure. SMDH! Cuts my toe nails to short without even asking me! The shes mad about me asking her to put a third coat because the color was too light.Then they left me there waiting for almost 3 hours for a simple fill in.The owner is a jerk! They have no idea how to schedule appointments. All the appointments where already waiting for an hour when I got there. Since when did this happen you can only be seen by appointments to do a fill in. Like Lets Be Real!Never going back!!! Everyone should try out the new place over on Washington Ave & Grove. Bigger and better and more staff.Dont waste your time or spend your money everything is over priced.

The only thing I didnt like the works talk to loud like screaming on the language.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The worst customer service I have EVER seen. You walk in and no one even acknowledges you. I made an appointment in person over a week in advance. I arrived 15 minutes early and still was forced to wait for over AN HOUR!!!!!!!!!!! I will NEVER come back here again.
