At the risk of making it challenging to get an appointment :-) I have to say that Jenny is a treasure and a genius and perfection. I am a middle-aged woman with a buzz cut (because I can!) and she makes me feel so validated and cared for and does a brilliant job. I always look forward to my appointment. And my youngest comes here as well for a kid haircut PLUS SPARKLES and it is reliably the highlight of her month. The sparkles stay forever and she feels so safe and grown-up with Jenny. I know it’s a barbershop and I think the men also get superb treatment but we’re mother-daughter believers in Jlo the Barber! (Also, a whiskey shot with my haircut? Um, yes please!)

I got hair sparkles last year (February 2020) during the Portland night market and over a year later I still have two in my hair! I remember asking Jenny how long they could last and laughed when she said they could last up to a year. Well, Im here to tell you that they can in fact stay in that long. Great quality and so much fun!

I was able to get a same day appointment with Jenny. I had waited 7 months from my last hair cut. She spent times with me talking about what I like and some issues I have had prior with other cuts. She gave me an amazing cut and I will making her my permanent barber. 5 Stars!

Jenny simply rocks! I have been going to Jenny for about a year! Would drive an hour+ for her haircuts! She is so efficient with your time and provides a haircut that everyone complements. Jlo sets you up for success and is so easy to talk to. Her new shop is sleek and easy to find. She has a great setup!

Jenny is amazing! I’ve been taking my little man to her for years. She always cuts his hair up so nice! One time he even fell asleep during his hair cut! (He was 3) Jenny just went with it. I held his head and she kept going. She also cut my little girls hair for her first hair cut.Now I go see her every few months to get sparkles put in my hair!Her shop is nice and clean. She takes the time between each customer to sanitize and clean every surface!Thank you Jenny! ❤️

JLo The Barber (Jenny) is the best! She genuinely cares about her clients...it feels more relational than transactional. I also love that everything is done from my phone, booking and paying from an app just simplifies life. Her space is so great and on nice days with the doors open its almost like youre outside. Cant say enough good things about Jenny and would 100% recommend!
