I cant remember who cut my hair but she did an amazing job. She was the only stylist to finally get rid of a cowlick thats been hassling me for awhile. Youll pay the same thing somewhere else but at sports clips youll also receive a shampoo and massage which you wont get elsewhere with paying a arm and a leg. Overall,just a great place to go. Ive been using sports clips for send.

I was here for the first time a couple days ago went during my lunch had no idea on how I was going to cut my hair just wanted it shorter. Jordy was amazing super professional and help me decide on how to cut it, the rest of the staff was nice and friendly. This location is super clean. I will be back to get my hair cut with Jordy.

Heather does an incredible job every time I come. She’s recommended some changes to the normal cut that I used to get and she was spot on. Plus she’s cool and has an awesome attitude. This location is always clean and punctual.

Usually when i come here its a nice experience. The people are friendly and i feel comfortable. However this experience was anything but that. The person cutting my hair seemed confused and unprepared, they cut my hair shorter than I asked and didn’t engage at all with me. I felt like they were just winging it and hoping for the best

Everything is covid safe. Lots of great practices to keep everyone safe. Also Carlos is the man for any guy looking for a great fade cut. The attention to detail and recognizing hair flow with skull shape was superb.

Management treats employees here like cattle. There is very little education for employees and or customers. Management and franchise owner does not trust their own employees, customers can call and actually lie and it works for them. The employees can lie about each other and get away with it, management chooses sides. Employees can break other employees expensive $300 tools and get away with it. No investigating. They do not believe what their own employees say, and When you are upset after management calls you a condescending liar, fires you, Management will threaten to call the cops on you. Huge turnover with this company, treats employees like criminals, I get some employees have felonies or DUI’s but other employees do not. There will always be a huge turnover and be constantly short staffed. I guess in Oregon if you are a hairstylist you are considered a criminal. Done with this profession. From the stand point coming from Southern California, most people in the Portland area have a mental hang up, or some sort of mental disorder, very unhealthy. New employees beware.

I love this place, and I dont even like sports. Whats great about Sport Clips is that by specializing in mens haircuts, theyre able to offer the same or better service than Ive received at expensive barbershops but at a fraction of the price. And beyond their usual low prices, theyve always got coupons, punch cards, etc. to give you further discounts.

Got my hair cut here about a month or two again, and its time for another hair cut! And I can honestly say I look forward to it, which I have never said before about a hair cut. Loved the friendliness of the people working, the ambience, and of course maybe most importantly the haircut its self!

I can’t remember who cut my hair but she did fantastic job. Evey time I have been here they gave me the exact haircut I wanted. The person who cut my hair paid very much attention to detail when my haircut was done I got an MVP which she did an amazing job on. When she dried my hair she noticed a spot in my hair where it stuck up a little and I didn’t even see it and she pointed it out and fixed it when she could have just left it how it was. Anyway there was awesome customer service and I if I could Remember the name of the employee and give them a review it would be a five star review.

Wanted an inexpensive haircut to get things back into shape after a bit of travel. Found a special at Sports Clips and made an appointment.The place is nice, decorated in a sports theme. The staff are nice; enthusiastic. They gave out a lot of coupons for future visits, even some referral coupons for the roommate, and touted their online appointment system.Yeah, there was a bit of an upsell for products they sell, but it was reasonably gentle, and made better by an unexpectedly free hair wash.The haircut was good, doubly so for the price, and Ill happily return when its time.

Even my worst cut here was a better hair situation that other places that strive for that level. Great at details and and stylists. They seem to magically know whether youre having an, I want to chat today day or a day that has been long and you just want to zone out to the game, day. Fair pricing to include a wash. Good place.

Attentive & experienced hair stylists treat clients well (mostly for men but women welcome, too). Has sports/TV atmoshere, special shampoos w/hot towel wrap, quick/effective check-in & check-out. Worked with Lorena and got literally the worst haircut I’ve ever seen. I usually cut my own hair but needed a quick haircut. I’m not being sarcastic or over exaggerating at all, you have to try to do a haircut this bad.

Love this sports clips, their always so welcoming when I walk in. They get me setup with their cool check-in system and while I wait I get to watch some sports on their tv:) They always cut my hair so good!!! I always get the MVP because once my hair is cut, they wash it and give me a nice scalp massage.

This is the only place I go to here in the Portland metro area. Jen knows how to do military cuts which is important to me being in the Army. She knows the difference between low, medium, and high fades. Always a great experience.

Had really bad experience with this salon about the scheduling system. The scheduled time doesn’t mean anything and they don’t honor people’s time. One time the stylist didn’t show up half an hour later. The other time she took another customer 5 minutes before the scheduled time.

Checked in online for my son with a 59 minute wait time. Arrived at the store and our wait was then 29 minutes. There was another person below us waiting for the same stylist. The wait got down to 2 minutes, and next thing I know we were back to 30 minutes. Yup, she had taken the person below us. Seems the person below us was the sibling of the person before us. That stinks, and I get it, but that is really not my problem. At least have the decency to tell me what you are doing, rather than sit for an hour. I could have taken my son for lunch in that time, for eg. I see this as a complete disrespect for my time. And it’s not like it was our first time there, he’s been getting his hair cut for two years. I won’t be back.

Ive been to this place for a haircut over a dozen times in the past 2-3 years since its close to where I live. Today, I was the only customer in the salon but the hair stylist was very hurried. She left a considerable hole in the hair on the right side of my head, from the trimming machine. I am upset and will never go to this place again. If you wish to try this place, good luck to you. I hope you dont end up with a hole in your hair.

Today, 04/29, I had a different stylist, if I remember correctly, her name was Tessa, the manager. Not only I had to wait past my allotted time because Tessa took a smoke break (not complaining about her break since I only had to wait an extra 5-10 minutes), it was her smoke-filled lungs, thus, her bad smoke breath that got to me. Her hair cutting skill was ok, better than some SuperCuts and GreatClips salons I have been to but not as good as a salon I visited in the Pearl district. Another thing about this salon is, the stylists here talk loudly among themselves even when they are attending to a customer. I wouldnt have believed this if I didnt see and hear this myself.

Been here a couple of times. Its ok. The cuts were mostly off from what I wanted and the hairdressers were more concerned with sharing their life drama and negativity, and looking at themselves in the mirror. NOT going back.

Terrible call-ahead system. I tried to put my name down with one of the stylist and the system didnt let me do it. Then I call to ask for her and some girl told me she would put my name down with her, so everything is ok. I arrived at the time I was told and my name is not even on the list, and when I asked wht happened, nobody knows, nobody wants to say who answered the phone and took care of it. They kindly put my name behind another person. Im still waiting, not because I want to, but because I dont have another option at this moment. Abismal customer service and even worse attitude.

Tabrina did a fantastic job styling my hair. Much needed confidence booster before an important job interview. Scalp treatment is refreshing. SportClips is superior to SuperCuts and Great Clips. Its more than a haircut. Its an experience. Tabrina recommended TeaTree Shaping Cream based on my hair type. Noticeable improvement over American Crew Forming Cream. Pretty, knowledgeable stylists, hip decor, clean facilities, and sports on TV are a plus too. I plan to return many times more. Thank you!

I came in this afternoon around 11. The staff was very nice and greeted me immediately. This was my first haircut in Beaverton since moving from out of state. The woman who cut my hair was very nice. Before we started I asked do you feel comfortable doing fades she assured me YES but as soon as it began the sides were a perfectly even 1/2 all the way around. She was getting the cover off me before any lineup or sideburns evened out. I asked her to and she politely did. I paid the total due and even tipped $2 because thats just me. She knew I was dissatisfied and shyfully apologized. I got home and showered and sure enough an even 1/2 around the sides and back with little bald patches. Thanks for listening

Well the quality of haircuts was quite good the first half-dozen times, and the MVP scalp massage is really nice if youre stressed out from work. Lately though, the people there only know how to shave you way down military style. The last 2 times I went there, I practically left bald.The first time I gave them a pass and made sure a different girl did my hair yesterday. Theyre really nice and try hard, but the experience in cutting mens hair is just not there.If you want to be pampered but dont care what your hair looks like, its okay. If your cut is important to you...try another place. Im still searching. Does anyone else miss old-school barbers?
