Staff was extremely rude and impatient, management was no better. Their cameras don’t work and the staff refuses to wear masks. I would not recommend this to my worst enemy.

By far the worst experience of my life with dealing with a company. their management is too scared to talk to you themselves and they make you only communicate through voicemails and their receptionist. I should of looked at the reviews before doing anything. if you rent or try to store anything here you might as well just throw away your money, it’s less of a hassle.

So today I call the customer service and was quoted a price. When I went into the office they told me that that price was not valid because I already had a unit and was not a new customer. The lady that helped me honored the price I was given over the phone stating that she would just do it and accept the consequences later. Because she did what was right and honored the price I was given over the phone Iron Gate storage will always be who I turn to for all my storage needs.

I just asked my husband about renting another Uhaul from this place and he reminded me of the bad experience we had with them last time we rented. We take responsibility for not inspecting everything, but we felt so robbed. We are super honest people. This was a Sunday rental. When my husband got to the hwy he went to look in the side mirror and it wasnt there. Then he realized it was sitting on the passager seat. We tried to call the rental place.and nobody answered. Long story short, we communicated with them as soon as we were able and they still charge us for the mirror. We will never go back there again. If you rent from them, inspect everything with a person. Dont rent on Sunday because you will find nobody to help you.

Do not go here. They kick you out if your one day late and even if its their fault. They are lazy. They live vivid so they dont have to assist you. If they see you drive up. They go to lunch for an hour. They will double your bill. They refuse to honor their advertised prices the other locations Ive spoke with are just . As nasty. I question the ethics of this company. They want you to lose your units and try to make it happen. Especially if they want your stuff. Even during vivid they took advantage if customers instead if help them. The mass exodus that happened at the same time I left confirms. Oriole hate this place. It they just took everyones belongings. Scotty immature and lack customer service skills. These storage unit queens will be sure to behrad you if they can. Stay away.

I just started renting here but the initial process was flawless

Description on website not accurate, purchased storage unit last night, show up to pick up keys today and are told that was an error and was shown the gravel area that really should have been listed in the description. We are told we now are liable to give a 30 day notice and it has not even been 24 hours since the purchase of the false advertised storage unit. Horrible customer service, terrible ownership. Don’t waste a dime here.

This place is the best! Kaylee is on site and makes sure the place is always secure. In an era where service is usually terrible and were expected to accept it, Kaylee and her staff go above and beyond. Ive had noting but positive dealings here even when Ive had a bad day. I can only assume that the bad reviews are from people who acted inappropriately rude and blamed staff members for not wanting to continue being abused. Its too bad too because this is a great place to store your stuff. I highly recommend Iron Gate Storage to anyone who needs extra storage space and isnt abusive. These girls work hard and should be thanked every day. So, thank you Kaylee and Staff. Youve been kind and very helpful when I needed it most!

Friday night I stopped by and Kaylee was so helpful n professional. Her knowledge n communication skills are outstanding. Even though it was near closing she didnt rush me n answered all my questions. Even provided additional info. What an outstanding employee. I returned on Saturday n received the same courtesy n Taylor is also outstanding. Cant rate on access to location or anything else yet. But if its based on Kaylee n Taylor I picked the right storage unit/business.

Great customer service at the front desk! A new hire has COMPLETELY turned this site around. Taylor was great, helpful in deciding what unit size I needed, as well as answering all my questions. Clean units as well as a clean galleyway in front of the unit. All in all, this is a great storage company!

I was treated like they did not want my business, they kept dragging with wrong information. The manager Kaylee was so cold and not helpful as if she preferred to go to her lunch then take my application. I went to the location 3 times and each time I was given different information. I had a horrible experience with them. I do not recommend them to anyone.

I have had a very good experience over the last year while I have needed to rent a storage unit. I would highly recommend Iron Gate. Kaylee has been great, and for me the location is very convenient, being right off of TV Hwy.

I think they have to be more flexible. Because I tried to rent a parking for my truck and trailer. And I had the appointment but they cancelled it only because the truck insurance is in my name but the truck is in my wifes name.

I called this place more then once to get a storage unit from them. I had to use their facebook page to message them and they said they would have the other site call us. Took most of that day and then tried to call them on the day we set to get the lease and everything from them and they didnt answer. So I called them started the process went through a 20 minute phone call just to be told I had to print out the lease sign it and scan it and send it back. I dont have access to anything to print or scan. And when I told her that I got well thats the process right now I asked about printing it and us signing there even if it was left outside the door and we sign it and leave. I was told sorry we arent doing that right now so have a good day bye was basically what I got. Not very helpful I understand all the craziness right now makes it hard to meet face to face but there are ways to work around that. Maybe starting with hey this is our process and explain it before taking people through a 20 minute process and then not being able to work with them.

I have been a customer of Iron Gate Storage for about 15 years. People tend to stick around. Management has bent over backwards many times to make paperwork work smoothly, find us units that work for us, and to provide cordial, efficient customer service, all around. Grounds are always immaculate. Units are attractive and well-maintained. Weve developed a great relationship over the years. I recommend Iron Gate Storage without reservation.

BEWARE! Our unit was broken into and when they realized our lock was missing, instead of contacting us about it, they put one of their locks on it and never told us. Months later, we come back to find our unit with a different lock on it and when we go in to find out why, they said they had no note of it, but that it was definitely one of their locks. They opened up our unit for us and we find several things missing AND our lock inside that was bolt cutted. Now, because they never contacted us, we won’t be able to look at their video surveillance because it cycles through. Very unprofessional and I will never recommend this place to anyone due to their negligence.EDIT: if you decide to go with this godforsaken storage unit, make sure to have a detailed list of everything you have in the unit because if it gets broken into, you have to list everything missing that very day. No going back and remembering what else was stolen because they are that unprofessional. We have realized we have at least $1000 worth of stuff missing that we won’t get money back for because we just remembered it. AND THEN, because this totally makes sense, if you’re unit gets broken into, you will lose your insurance on it, because that totally makes sense.

Driveways are a little narrow. If someone is unloading a uhaul you arent getting by do you just need to go to the next aisle to get around.

This place doesn’t seem very secure. Didn’t see any security and the cameras look like they have blind spots. I wouldn’t trust this place with my stuff. Plus, the management at the desk was rude to my husband and I when we asked about the security there. They are called “Iron gates” after all, but their security seems mediocre at best.

Very secure and trustworthy. Have heard so many horror stories from others i know about their supposed secure lockers. This one is good and i bought an unpickable lock to be extra safe since I had never done this before

We have not had to rent out a storage unit in a very long time. Our experience with this company and the team- in particular both Brittany and Kaley have been beyond awesome! I have and will continue to recommend this place to friends, family co-workers, everyone!

My experience was horrible. I would not recommend renting from here. When I reserved a unit for a month, I was told I would receive a discounted rate. However, we were charged about $70 more than promised. It was an extremely long and drawn out process to eventually receive that refund (about 2 months).In addition, we rented a U-Haul the date that we moved our possessions into the unit. When we arrived at Iron Gate, the code we were given would not open the gate. We called Iron Gate, and no one answered our calls. It was well within the hours of operation for the gate to still be accessible and open. However, the gate was malfunctioning, and we couldnt enter. As a result, we had to rent the U-Haul for an additional day so that we could finish moving our things. Iron Gate refused to reimburse us for this cost, despite the fact that we paid for a service that didnt work!The entire process in trying to receive these refunds were insane. Again, dont waste your time here unless you want to run the risk of being overcharged (and not be able to get into the gate....).

Britnee was very helpful in showing me the units, explaining pricing, and the associated costs and fees. She delivered on the unit I needed, helped me understand the terms, and explained everything thoroughly. My belongings feel safe there behind the gate. Units are clean and in good condition.

Great customer service. When I went in the office, I was professionally greeted. They took the time to listen to what I needed and gave me a tour of the facility.

Place seems ok. Can be very tight to maneuver around if you have a large vehicle. The electronic gate doesnt work from time to time and have been locked inside a couple of times with nobody in the office. They cannot be reached by telephone. They forward the calls to Vancouver who puts you in a call forwarding loop so to speak and you get forwarded from office to office until you finally get forwarded to the Beaverton office voice mail. Very frustrating when youre locked behind the security gate.

We have used Iron Gate since March of 2012 to store our Travel Trailer and we have found that the staff is always friendly and helpful. The location of the storage sight is very convenient and we would recommend Iron Gate to anyone needing a storage locker or place to store an RV, truck or car.

There are some electronic problems - one time the gate would not open. Also, when Ive tried to pay online and by phone, my payment would not process, but then when I took the same bank card into the office, my payment was accepted without any problem. No compensation was offered for the time the gate would not open, but I dont know if other storage companies offer compensation in a circumstance like that.I like the space

Run as fast as you can for another storage company as this company is completely unorganized, unprofessional and rude. Check to see if they have an emergency phone number on their door. They dont have this number anywhere, if you have a problem. This is done intentional!!! I told the owner, Curtis,to post this number and he has chosen to ignored the request.The first day we were to move into our large unit, we paid several people to help us unload our truck. We were promptly at the facility at 7 am. We entered the gate code and it didnt work. After 4 hours of tracking someone down, we were finally able to enter the gate. Curtis, the owner, said he would give us a month free since we had to pay two people and waste a lot of time.Unfortunately, that was not the end of the story. We were paid in full, but because Curtis did not tell anyone in his office of the agreement of the free month, we were again locked out. Again it took several hours to get the code to enter the gate.The day we moved out, I emailed Iron Gate and told them that we had moved out. Britnees helper checked the unit and passed the Unit and applied Iron Gates lock to the unit.A few days later, I received the following email from Britnee the manager:I will move you out of the system once the lock is taken off and I can see that the unit is empty. Until then the unit is not rentable and you are still occupying the unit. I do a walk though weekly, in fact, I will be doing one tomorrow afternoon. If I see the lock is taken off the unit by then I will move you out of the system no problem.She apparently, had not communicated with her helper which had previously put Iron Gates lock on the unit.To date, I am entitled to a partial prorated refund for the 1/2 month we did not use, and have not received it. An apology would have been really nice, NOT BRITNEES EMAIL THREATENING ME!

Havent had a problem for several months until today. I was late paying my rent so of course the access code wouldnt let me in the unit ( thats fine with me because I was late), so I made a payment online. It took three days to get my access code reactivated and I was not given credit for the days that I was not able to access my unit because their office staff did not reactivate my access code. If I didnt have access to their unit, I should not be charged rent for those days. Spoke to a rep who refused to give me credit for it.
