Im home for a class reunion and I didnt have a chance to get my nails done before I left Houston. Im extremely picky about my nails and pedicures. I found Luxor and Im absolutely pleased. Cammy made me feel like I could walk on a cloud and Danny whipped my nails. The only thing I told him was that I needed a cut down.. This is my go to away from home nail salon. I highly recommend. I also treated my mom to a pedicure. Thank you so much Cammy and Danny.

~un-welcoming staff~ugly nail shaping~are not experienced with newer/up-to-date designs~nails start coming off within 2 weeks, and I’ve had sets last for 3Never returning back.

This place does not do a good job.Got a full set of dipped nails a week and a half ago.Started coming off and peeling within 4 days.Went back yesterday to try something different(I always give second chances)Got a full set of just an overlay.No trimming of my nails, no cuticle push back on both visits here.The work was sloppy and didnt feel welcomed here.NEVER COMING BACK

I love this place! My grandma and I go fairly regularly and every time we come we’re greeted warmly and they even remember what colors we got last time! I always come here when I want to get my nails done because I’ve never had a bad experience. I would definitely recommend that you come here!

I love Danny and Cami. They are extremely nice and they have conversations with their clients. I love the personal touch they give each client and they actually know their clients names. Keep up the good work guys. It’s worth the drive from Baker.

Luxor Nails is the best place I have Been to, if you looking for nice& relaxing and people that listen to you when they working on your Sh**. I have been to so many nail shops from BR to Texas and I will wait if I’m out of town to do my nails just to go there. It’s very peaceful, relaxing, nonjudgmental, patient, and gentle.oh & they always get my Brows right! Till I’m old and grey they have me as one loyal customer!thank y’all Soo much

From start to finish this was the worst manicure I’ve ever received. To start to remove the powered nails that were already on my nails the lady had me soak my fingers in a large bowl of acetone. Normally each nail should be wrapped in foil with cotton. I had to ask her if there was another way because it was burning my skin and the smell was terrible. She gave me a fake nail tip to break them off. There was no manicure process. She only put the powder nails on. No cuticle trim, cutting, or filing. I had to ask her to cut the nails to one length. The powder nails look terrible. She missed part of my nails and when this was pointed out she told me that was skin. I know the difference between my skin and nails. The power was not filed down to blend in with my nails either. My manicure looks like bad lee press on nails. I also pointed this out and she did say if they break within 1 week I could go back, but you couldn’t pay me money to go back. There’s also a piece of cotton or string on one of my nails that she would not correct. Seriously the worst experience and powder manicure that I have ever gotten.

I love this place, I live over by the Lsu area and although I pass by Perkins Rd all the time this nail shop was like a hidden jewel my first time there. You would expect the prices to be extremely high because of how nice it is but it isnt. The prices are very reasonable! And lets not forget they serve wine and champagne as apart of their services, cant get any better. Nails, feet and wine all in one sitting. I cant wait to go back and the service was amazing. This is my new favorite place.

Worst place to get your nails done. I went there a week ago to have them remove the current color I had on my nails and replace it with gel polish. There was no price list and when I had asked, it appeared as though she made the price up in her head. They kept asking me about my accent and when I did not reveal my country of origin, they got frustrated and stopped interacting with me. I told the lady with the grown out blonde color in her hair that the nails were smudged but the did not listen and even got more frustrated. She charged me $60 for the nail polish only. And when I asked the reason for the price she said because I did not get the full set done in her store. I called in the next day hoping to get someone else on the phone to verify the price. The person told me it was $40 and hung up without saying goodbye. 2 days later, the color came off, although gel polish is meant to last a good few weeks. I went back around 6.30pm and knocked on the door (as the door often locked for fear of certain people of color breaking in as it was a bad neighborhood-no comment). She saw me and went to the back. She did not open the door. I really needed those same colors she had just put on my nails 2 days before so I came back yesterday early in the morning. I asked her why she did not open the door the day before when she clearly saw me and she said they do not take any customers after 6.30 which is a lie because the first time I was there, it was 6.45pm. I told her to fix my nails which she reluctantly did. She then told me that her clientele was predominantly wealthy and had were well- spoken and that she does not think she can satisfy me at her store. I asked her if that was a polite way to tell me not to come back and she nodded. This is the MOST RACIST AND INAPPROPRIATE SERVICE I HAVE RECEIVED IN MY 7 YEARS OF LIVING IN BATON ROUGE. VERY DISAPPOINTING.

The staff was great. I had no issues with them. I am also from out of state, and I came in for a regular Pedi and a Gel Mani. This is one of the worst gel manis I have ever had. The gel is all over my finger, my pedi literally looks my like 3 year old did it. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Now, as of their other services, I cannot review. There were some girls in there who loved the way they did their acrylics and dip, but if you’re a gel mani/pedi type like me- find another salon.

Went a couple of weeks ago to get a gel polish done & the guy that did it was rude for one, acting as if I was a bother to have even walked in. For two, the gel didnt last even 2 days. Literally the next day it started coming up. Will never go back.
