C.C. Chimney Sweep was very helpful! Our dryer vent needed to be re-routed and Jonathan was able to schedule and come out to fix it within a couple of days. He was able to make moving into our new home and getting our dryer set up a lot smoother. I highly recommend their services.

My dryer wasn’t working well! I bought a dryer vent cleaner from Big Box. Tried to clean it myself. Had a hard 90° elbow in the middle of the wall. Tried from top, which was on the roof, and bottom, at the floor in the laundry room. Dryer worked better, thought it we had it……Nope! Still not how the lady of the house thought it should be! Decided to cut my losses and call the professionals.I called Cc Chimney Sweep and Duct Cleaning, you know, The guy in the top hat, white shirt, black vest and black pants. Reminded me of Bert on Mary Poppins!Called them Monday to schedule an appointment, was raining buckets on Wednesday, rescheduled for Saturday at 11:00.I got a call at 10:30 saying they were on the way for the 11:00 appointment.At 10:45 Johnathan and John stepped out the van, introduced themselves, asked where the vent stack and dryer were and went to work. 15 minutes later I had a properly cleaned dryer vent, and a new vent cover! Dryer works perfectly!Very professional, did a great job, and best of all, my significant other is happy!I should’ve called CC Chimney Sweep and Duct Cleaning instead of wasting my time and money on DIY!Cudos to Johnathan and John!

I have used CC Chimney Sweep for many years and have always been satisfied. I called them out this week because I continued to have a smoky smell in my house many days after having a fire. Johnathan and assistant cleaned the chimney per my request even though they said it did not need it. I just wanted to get rid of the smell. They added a deodorizer too. But, the best part is they educated me on how to avoid the smell in the the future. I had left the damper open for a few days to air out after a fire and during that time it rained. With the damper open, water got in and combined with the creosote in the chimney to make the stink. Now I know to always keep it closed when it rains. Johnathan also gave me good advice on how to clean the burn marks from our hearth tile. Both men were exceedingly polite and professional and very pleasant to talk too. Highly recommend.

The crew was very professional and knowledgeable. They worked with me to schedule our work the next day after I called. Arrived on time and quickly and thoroughly performed fireplace and chimney inspection/cleaning. They also went out of their way to help me with a problem with my fireplace. The crew arrived as expected. Within about 30 minutes, they had our gas fireplace and chimney inspected and running. (We are in a new house, so we wanted to have it checked out before we turned it on.) Everyone was friendly and had a great demeanor. Price was right too! They even let me make a video of them showing how to start it and all of the different parts of the unit. (Im a newbie to a gas fireplace.)

This company is very unprofessional . They was an hour late when I set an appointment a week before the date of my appointment. I called/texted them 15 minutes before my appointment to make sure they was coming. Than they didn’t apologize for being late.Smh!!!They didn’t kno who I was until 5 minutes of our conversation and didn’t want to give me a discount for them being an hour late. I will not recommend this company to anyone. I’m highly upset and they cause me to be late for wrk.

Called these folks today to get my air ducks and fire place cleaned. He promptly told me he would not clean air ducks that have been contaminated by the flood. However, he would clean my chimney. There is NOTHING contaminated about my air ducks. We had five inches of water on Saturday night, it was gone by Monday and we began reconstruction on Tuesday morning. Our air conditioner was off (due the loss of power) when the water entered the house. It would seem, someone who professes to have 4 our of 5 star rating would have at least offered to see if the ducks were contaminated. We want them cleaned because we have lived there for 32 years. Just another of Kick in the Butt we have endured since we allowed water to enter our house. Sometimes being in business is not always the first slice of cake. Sometimes, when you are truly concerned and interested in your customer you might try to help them in times like this, or at least make a suggestion as to what they can do. If he would recommended a new air duck installer, we would have been talking to them next. In summary: If everything is rosy in your life and your home, this might be the one to call.

The crew arrived on time and were very friendly. I felt very comfortable with them working our home. They worked efficiently and thoroughly. We noticed right away that the slight musty aroma we encountered when we come in the house was gone. We were very impressed with their work and will use them again.

To say our chimney was a disaster would be an understatement! They came out promptly and rebuilt the upper chimney, rebuilt the box to make it more efficient, installed a flu, removed the 3 ft petrified bird poo from the birds who had been living in my fireplace! They worked late into the night and kept the dust to a minimum using vacuums the entire time. Fair price, good work, and efficient. One of the best companies I have worked with in Baton Rouge.

Its Sunday morning. There are birds and bird nest in my chimney and my house is starting to smell. I have never used a chimney sweep service and needed one fast. When I called to ask them what happened he said that I had slipped through the cracks Well apparently I slipped through all three times!!!
