Moved to the Memphis area and was recommended to go here the first couple of months were fine as I would normally get acrylic nails and a pedicure with a gel coat on both and usually got a great 3 to 4 week wear out of them. Fast forward to me getting a gel nail set without acrylics and that are literally falling off in one piece, lifting, and just looking a mess I call the lady and tell her what happened asked if i came in would she fix it. I get there she says she can fix it of course but I would have to repay the entire amount i believe was $25. We went back and forth for almost 10 mins so she can convince me that gel is not guaranteed to last more than a week so there was nothing she could do. Never had a gel set peel off so quickly or deal with a company that is so money hungry as to not try and accommodate their customers. Greedy & Cheap

I walked into the salon they greeted me which was nice i showed the nail tech what kind of nails i wanted and what design. The nail tech say it that they couldn’t do the design I want it. Good thing i had a back up. I showed the tech and he said he could do it. I told him that i wanted the french tip on the same 2 nails in the picture but without the extra stuff and he said ok. I showed him the picture again right before he started to paint my nails. He didnt do anything i ask for. He painted my nails white and told me to get under the dryer. He had nail polish all over my fingers and used waayy to much acrylic and wiped my fingers with monomer after each nail. What was that for?

The pedicure was decent but the actual basic acrylic set was a joke. I asked for a basic coffin cut and they turned into this uneven square oval thing? I had to ask three times for the polish to cover the whole nail and still had to file them when I got home bc they were so jagged and uneven. The tips arent glued down all the way and the sides of my nails arent even fully covered in acrylic.

They are okay. I’m pretty pissed that I paid $1 for 2 small diamonds that fell off an hour after getting them done... because they didn’t glue them on. Oh and one of the nails techs put a nail on my actual nail crooked... then said it was MY nail that was crooked. 💀 weird. My nail wasn’t crooked before I came. She redid it and boom it looked normal. The audacity! Not only that, the next nail she filed was filed too much on one side. I’m pretty much over it at this point.

So I just left Sons Nails. I have been several times. In fact, I would consider this my go to place. You will also notice this is an edited message because I have to change my previous ratings of 4 stars to 1 star after my visit today. First off had plans to get a shellac manicure and regular polish pedicure. As I mentioned I have been here several times so I have my go to colors as well. Got my pedicure and it was good. I asked for the wheel of polish samples to fish out which colors I would be getting today but noticed that my usual dark purple was not on the sample wheel. I asked the tech about it and she was someone new that I havent seen before. I think her name was Thuynh. Anyway she showed me a few lilac colors and I repeated that I wanted dark purple and asked her if perhaps she had seen any other shellac color sample wheels because I have gotten a dark purple shellac with matching regular polish for my toes several times. She proceeds to exhale loudly, pull off her gloves, stand up, hover over me, and shove the same color sample wheel at me. By now, the salon becomes quiet and everyone is looking at us. I am mad and embarrassed. Another tech came over and asked me what I needed. I told her I was going to get up and go to the wall to find a dark purple regular polish for my toes and I would not be getting a shellac manicure. Needless to say, but unfortunately as well, I will not be patronizing this nail shop again. And despite the inappropriate and unprofessional behavior I still tipped the young lady because the pedicure was pretty good. She needs some help though in the customer service department. I need some help now finding a new nail shop.

Been going here for 6 years now. The only place I go to get my diamond gel nails. They last, love the sparkle in the diamond, where some other look as if they pour glitter in theirs. Also good price

Happened upon this place on Christmas Eve on year and felt absolutely comfortable. Extremely down to earth individuals and they do an excellent job on laying acryllic and definitely give amazing pedicures. I wished they would incorporate the hot stones instead of just the hot towels but extremely nice none-the-less.

My nails are freaking beautiful! Trung made sure all my nails were all the same length and that they were all straight! She realized that one of my nails were crooked (mainly because my middle finger has a slight curve 😝) but anyway, she ended up taking the nail back off and adjusted it to how my finger leans & its perfect! No one has done that for me before, she pays attention to detail. Such Artistry! I will be going back! Also they have GREAT PRICES. Thank you so much!

They dont have enough workers, i spent an 1hour and 10min before they got to me. And plus they to HIGH on they polish that call scolach ... The one in?Covington pike dont charge and extra 15 dollar for that. They charge 5... Im going there

Pedicure went ok but massage was way shorter than usual but the lady usually takes her time and does a good job. Can’t remember her name. Then one of the two sisters did my dip manicure but it was a horrible job. I asked for white dip and she put a pink gloss on top so the white looked dingy. She didn’t massage nor use cuticle oil; just said “ok $72” and sent me about my way. Won’t be back.

If I could give a zero star I would, I had to wait an hour to get a fill in, only to get them done and 3 hours later one breaks. Went back this morning and they tried to charge me for it. Now as I’m writing this another one has broke... furious and beyond over this place. Paid $25 and now have had 2 broken nails in less then 24 hours...

This is the only place I will go to period. I tried several different nail salons in the area and none of them compare to Sons. They are so nice and the quality of work is amazing!

I moved to bartlett 5 years ago. I was determined to find a nailshop. I was driving up and down stage Rd for about 20 minutes then I looked to my right and this shop with a grand opening sign 20% off. I went in a just knew theor service was going to be terrible. This is by far the best nailshop ever. Ive been going there for 5 years str8. When they are closed and I need a quick touch up I would go to another nailshop and be so disappointed. I would rather just waif on them. They worth the wait and will definitely leave you more than satisfied!!!
