The police called a tow truck after I was hit by another car. A very rude driver showed up and said that he could not tow it anywhere but to the Frankfort Towing on 6300 Belair Road even though State Farm had set up a body shop I needed it taken to. At that point I asked him to please leave my car so I could call my own tow and have my car taken to the body shop. He refused said that “no one else can touch this car” because he had been contacted by the Police department. At that point he took my car and said we could send State Farm tow truck to get the car at 6300 Belair Road. My State Farm agent and I immediately called Frankfort towing (this was on a Saturday) the man on the phone interrupted my agent before he could even ask about my specific vehicle and said that we couldn’t come get it until Monday and then hung up on us. It is now Monday morning and we called Frankfort Towing and they never received my car, say they have no knowledge of towing my vehicle and now I have no idea where my car is. Worst customer service and business I’ve ever dealt with them. Do not let them take your car you may never see it again.

Terrible experience trying to get items from my car due to front staff. I didnt appreciate being called hon. It felt patronizing. She agreed once Ib started to speak like her. She hung up. I came in person, and my car was at a different location than the location on 6300 Belair. Why not send people to the exact location of their car? A little friendliness & common sense for peoples time goes a long way.

Customer service is extremely poor and distasteful. Upon my arrival to retrieve my vehicle, I was told by “Robin” that my key was lost by the tow driver and that I could come back and retrieve it whenever it was found. I explained that it was their error and I would not be inconvenienced for it. I demanded compensation or that my keys be hand delivered to me because this was their fault. After some back and forth Robin wrote my address down and stated that when they found the key, they would personally bring it to me. After they found the key I was told to come and get it. Robin said that she never told me that the key would be brought to me. The manager is apparently never available to speak to although it’s clearly a family ran business..This kind of service is unprofessional and unacceptable. My car being there is $38 a day but them losing my key and inconveniencing me is FREE? Disrespectful.

My son was in an accident and the police called this company to tow the vehicle. My son was not given the opportunity to use his AAA to tow the vehicle. why did the police take it upon themselves to call this tow truck company without conversing with my son. That transaction between the police department and the tow company appears to be corrupt. Even if Frankford has a contract with the city and it was the officers job to ensure the street is clear for traffic my son should have been given the option of contacting AAA before Frankford was calledIt would be nice if the customer service at Frankfort towing would have provided requested information as well as inform the party that the vehicle would be at another location. We provided AAA the Belair road location then had to request another tow for Quad Ave.Empathy and consideration from”customer service” would be greatFYI there is a 6% fee if you use credit to pay for your vehicleIf your vehicle is at Quad ave and need towing, it is my recommendation that you go there first (after Pmt) and ask them to pull your car for tow. It took them an hour to move all of the cars that blocked my sons car. By time the tow truck came he waited maybe 15 minutes

They seemed to be confused and/or to busy to address towing needs over the last three years. Then when I called last week that lady took me through a whole new scenario that involved contacting the landlord to have a car towed because they did not know if my address had a contract with them or not. The funny part is that they did not ask to verify if there was a contract or not. I called this the total brush-off unlike the haphazard efforts of the calls I had placed before. At least the earlier calls would say we are really busy right now but Ill get someone out there as soon as I can and no one ever showed up anyway. I would not use there services. But you can try it for yourself. You might get better results.

Lost my key, told me they never got it, didnt have someone at the lot that was supposed to be there. What are they doing besides holding cars and getting paid? Clearly not their jobs.

This is a horrible, racist company. My car was towed after having a accident. Once I got out of the hospital, I was given the run around about where my car was. I needed to retrieve my items at the very least. I was then told that I had to pay before getting anything out of my car. FINE. I paid $250 (this is less than 24 hours since the accident). Then I was sent to another location to get into the car. When I arrived, my items where missing from my car. They literally stole my stuff. Don’t use this place. They ARE NOT GOOD PEOPLE. I have talked to 3 different people, all rude, all nasty.

So I was in a car accident they took my car to their lot after I called and had my car released to my insurance company and towed to my collision center one my collision center called and said you can come get your items I went directly over there open my trunk and everything was stolen from my car even my kids school clothes I called them and they kept say they dont steal or take items from the car so the lady asked the value of the items and I gave a rough estimate and she immediately offered me 300 cash for my stolen items my attorney said that he is for certain that they had something to do with it.

My car was involved in an accident and was towed to this sorry place. When I stopped by to check on my car the woman and the man in the office, the owners, said that my car wasnt there and they had at least three other lots where they take towed cars after accidents. Plus they will not let you get your personal items not until your insurance company or you pay out your pocket! And heaven help you if you leave anything money or anything else of value in your vehicle because they will take it. I had about five dollars in coins in my glove box in the middle area of the car. When I came two days later after the accident to get my things I noticed someone had putted everything out of the glove box on to the passage seat. In other words, the money was gone and whoever the tow driver was he stole it. So take my advice and dont deal with this company if you can help it. But in case you do make sure you take photos of the inside of your car so if anything is missing youre know who took it. This is a very bad business.

Short staffed and not very helpful over the phone because they are short staffed they need to pick up another three lines and maybe assist two walk-ins while on the phone with you. They have two lots so if you need to pick up your car I recommend getting there an hour before they close because they will not help you after store hours.

Its the worst experience ever..... So many service fees administration fees and storage fees towing fees.... I think they are paying the police to use them.

After an accident, car was towed away by this company. I had to pay before getting anything out of my totaled vehicle. Over priced towing for 8 blocks, had another company pickup my car for 1/2 the price.

I cannot believe that this company is called by the police department. My husband was in the accident and his was car was towed by them. we went the next day and they would not let get any of our personal belonging he had about 6 pairs of shoes in the trunk that are now gone my insurance talked with them we did everything we could to try and get our things and they would not let us. I am currently in the process to file a lawsuit. I found out that it is illegal for them to not allow us access to the car when we had proof that our company would pay and take the vehicle off the lot. They always gave us the run around so ill be coming for them they should no longer be in business. people have enough stress being in an accident and now to have their things stole what kind of people are you?! and that old lady in the front is rude and dismissive I would not be surprised if she knew about all the things that are being stolen and does her best not to let people get their things. I plan to get my money back from them.

THESE GUYS ARE THIEVES. I WAS FORCED TO USE THEM AND WHEN I WENT TO THEIR LOT THE NEXT DAY TO GET MY POSSESSIONS FROM MY VEHICLE THEY WERE GONE. Well my vehicle was towed to there while i was on way with a trailer to get after breaking down. After finally being informed it was there and i contact them, Im informed i must wait until Monday to get car. So im getting hit with 3 days of storage because they wont let me get it out while open. $345 instead of $225-275 because the office person isnt there. Impound gives you 48 hours before adding on.

The tow truck driver was great but the lady at the place not so much. I understand in this line of work you develop a thick skin but whatever happened to killing them with kindness. Just treating people with a little respect goes a long way.

Had a terrible single car accident that totalled my Toyota very early on a Sunday morning. I was by myself a couple hours away from home and completely lost. Mark was the tow truck driver who pick me up it took me back to the shop where they towed my car. The gentlemen that work there were very compassionate and funny and really made me feel better about a horrible situation I found myself in. If youre a Baltimore and you need a tow truck I would definitely call this company!

Beware... my mom is 73 and her suv was involved in a car accident and transported to this establishment and picked up a few days later to find that the catalytic converters were cut off. Take my advise choose wisely and if ur vehicle is being towed back to their locations they have a few, one on quad ave off north point rd. Make sure u check ur exhaust system.. so sad these days go to show dont trust no one... good thing is my moms car is back up n running.. shame on you Frankford Towing and this does not stop here.. you will be reported

They stated to me that i can not retrieve my items from my car until they speak with my insurance company which is absurd ! Being that i am the victim of my situation i am definitely displeased with the customer service that i have received. The gentleman lied and said that there is not anyone available to help me which i knew was fabricated because i hear him laughing with others in the background. I will never recommend this company!

Lost my car for a day and a half told me they didnt tow it and they didnt have it and then all the sudden they called almost 2days later saying they had my car and on top of that they charged me for the time that they could not find my car and they are not the nicest people to deal with

I have had the worst experience with this company especially the white middle aged lady who works there. She is very RUUUUUUUUUDE /rude. She is very mean and replies to questions in a mean tone as if she is forced to work there even though she looks like a senior level agent/ specialist or may be even the owner. My advice to you never never ever use this company you will save yourself money and headache and avoid meanness. They will make you pay more than $200 to get any belonging from your car even though they know the insurance company will end up paying them. They will not help you in any shape or form to get things out of the car. They enjoy seeing you suffering even you are injured, zero remorse or sympathy. They treat you like a thief when you are taking things out of your OWN vehicle!!! Worst customer service I have ever received on my entire life. Only leaving 1 star because you cant leave 0. A well know predatory towing company in Baltimore, they have already been investigated by the Office of Inspector General for setting up ghost towing stations (OIG #2013-0142). They routinely ignore the very clear Maryland State and Baltimore city laws regarding signage, authorization, and notification when towing cars in Baltimore City. If they attempt to tow you, call the police, dont let them take your car, and check the Maryland state law passed in 2012 because chances are, what they are doing is illegal and the police will have to force them to drop your car with out payment. Also take pictures of everything as you may have a small claims suit. All in all, a fraudulent, immoral, and illegal business.

They are only open business hrs during the week because they say they dont have the man power to move cars on weekends yet they still have drivers to bring in more cars. So they charge you money even though you can get the car but they cant. Then they never tell you about the 6% fee if you use a credit card.. I know tow companies arent the most desirable but this place is terrible. The way it runs and the service is definitely not set to be helpful for the customers.

I tried to find out if this company was in possession of my car after it was mistakenly towed from a property I had a reservation for. Eventually they told me they didnt have it, but the person on the phone went on an additional 3 minutes being rude and, ironically, telling me Im wasting their time before hanging up on me.This company deserves to go under if thats the kind of attitude they have towards people in general. I actually feel sorry for Baltimore for having a scummy towing company like this slithering about their streets.

Worst experience ever... I had an accident out Dundalk and the police had my car towed to the city yard. When I got to the city yard, they said that the lot was full so they had Frankford Towing come to pick up my vehicle. I called Frankford Towing and I was told that I would have to pay the Tow fee of 204 dollars to retrieve my belongings. When I got to Frankford Towing, I explained to the Manager that the city lot would allow me to retrieve my belongings out of my vehicle for free and since the police hired them to move my vehicle, that they should be liable for the tow fee. The manager became very loud, rude, and nasty and yelled that I would have to get a letter from my insurance company stating that they would pay for the tow charge in order for me to get my belongings. I asked to see a policy, a contract, rules, or law stating that but she was unable to provide any documentation. The more the Manager talked, the more I realized that she was trying to extort Money out of me. I told her that I was getting my belongings out of my car on my own. She became irate, She yelled at my father, OH YOU THINK IM SUPPOSE TO BE SCARED OF YOU BECAUSE YOU LOOK ALL BIG AND BAD.... however we ignored her and I continued to walk to my vehicle to retrieve my belongings. The manager then yelled to me SIR! DO NOT TOUCH THAT VEHICLE, THAT IS NOT YOUR PROPERTY 😂 .The manager then walked behind me as I was at my vehicle and said Your Black a** is just a deadbeat who probably doesnt have insurance then she continued to insult and yell as I retrieved my belongings out of my vehicle. She didnt call the police though 🤔. And I knew then that they are just con artists trying to extort hardworking citizens out of their funds. She (the manager)tried her best to provoke me. It seemed like she tried to push my buttons so she could call the police and play the victim however that did not work. This encounter ended with me retrieving my belongings, the Manager still standing there yelling insults, and me driving away. Trust me, this place is a joke and a rip off. And her Black a** is a deadbeat comment makes them sound racist as well. I will be contacting the Better Business Bureau in order to start an investigation. So if you have to retrieve your belongings out of your vehicle from this place... just do it . DO NOT LET THEM EXTORT YOU. People will only get away with what you allow them too.

They charged me for towing a stolen car that did not have a set of keys.They than sent me to a lot that did not have my car.When I finally got my car somebody walked up to me and gave me a set of keys.The front office knew this and never offered to refund the money that they charged me for the missing keys.A very unprofessional business.

They are always in blocking the lane on Glenmore Ave. The driver will cut you off or block the road right as your about to go and they don’t care. Currently 2 trucks are blocking all traffic on Glenmore and they don’t care at all, just letting people line up behind them.

Don’t let these people touch your car. They left my key inside the car and then claimed they never saw the key when my car got stolen off their lot.

I work for Insurance Auto Actions. We have to call this place all the time. I dread speaking to them. Robin, rude as hell every time. Were supposed to call and see if someones vehicle is ready for us to move it for their insurance. They always hang up, act like they cant hear us. Just to give us the run around so they can milk someones insurance for storage fees etc. Which, if fees accrue way too high, your insurance company will have to take money from your settlement to pay for them. So them being that way effects ppl in the long run, and they could care less. It looks like 99% of the other reviews on here seem to think the same of them.

I only gave them one star because I dont have the option of leaving zero stars. Worst tow company ever. I had an accident and the guy who towed said that I would only owe $160 for it to be towed there. When I went to retrieve my vehicle I ended up paying $280 because they tacked on fees. The guy also lied and said the vehicle would be able to be fixed there Which they couldnt. Smh. Ridiculous. Avoid at all costs.

I called them one Sunday afternoon, I waited for half an hr no show no call. I called back again, guy said sorry but he will give a call to the driver and I will get a call from him. An hr and half passed nothing happened. He didn’t apologize but he’s been lying all this time. So sad ! Most them share the same way of handling business-POOR !!! But they still making their living as long as we driving. I dont expect better from tow business. I don’t know how almost everyone has the same problem.

Save your time and money, unless you are perhaps calling for a small car to be towed. I have a small fleet of RVs and vans that i use for work. Have tried calling them on two separate occasions for a tow to our mechanics location. Both times they did not want to be bothered, didnt have a truck available, or were afraid towing our truck would break it in half (?). I wish I was making this up.This is despite the fact that the manager of the garage who does our work assured us they will not only pick up but will do it promptly. After the first denial, I was in the office when the garage manager called and was told it was mistake by a new employee. Had it happened again and more excuses. Save your money and call Tims towing.

These people tried to tell me my tint was illegal when I have notification that it wasnt. I still went to the state troopers barracks and was informed that my tint is legal. This place is a ripoff and a joke!

To start, this place doesnt even deserve the one star that I have to give for establishing this review. After someone plowed into my brand new truck that was less than 2 months old, Frankford Towing shows up at the scene at the request of the Baltimore Police Dept. and proceeds to DRAG my truck onto the roll back truck without first putting the truck in neutral!!!I was standing at the scene with the keys in my hand still in shock from the accident and the driver never asked me for them to move the vehicle.I had to remain at the scene after they pulled away to answer questions, and when I called the office of Frankford Towing to offer my keys to unload the truck I was told that they had ways to get it off without them.The next day I visited this wonderful establishment and was told that they had to shake it off the roll-back. Who in their right mind treats a new vehicle with so little respect?????!!!!! There was very little wrong with my truck from the accident, and by the time it was unloaded at Frankford there was twice as much body damage including damage to the rear bumper from them unloading it into another parked vehicle!!! (the accident damage was confined to the right front wheel area only).The sad part about this story is that these guys are called by the police to clear the streets and no one has a say in who tows their vehicle in the event of an accident!!Be careful how you drive in Baltimore City. This could happen to you.

Do not call this company to tow anything. First off I didnt call them when in had an accident. They just showed up and started hooking up without even asking. I have full coverage insurance on my truck. My insurance had a company all ready in the a way. When I called to get my personal property from my truck they would not let me. They stated I need a letter from my insurance that they where going cover towing. So it seems like extrortion to me. Very unprofessional and predatory in my book. Just beweare of this company of crooks.

I would avoid this shop unless you have to go here or your car is towed here. They offer free Uber inspections for Uber drivers - which is awesome! But they have long wait times and a lousy waiting area. Very affordable though, I walked out spending under $200.

I got an Uber inspection the lady in the front was respectful and mindful. The inspector looked like he knew what he was doing and for being overloaded i was in and out fairly quickly.

Really cramped area the lot is messy, they towed my car and when I picked it up I got a flat from riding over something on there lot, omg.

I wish I could give these business a 0. Rude, nasty, picked up my car because it was broke down in 2 days I had a $400.00 bill. They wont even let you look at your car until you pay them. Not only is this place 45 mins from where I live, they were even rude to my insurance agent. I dread going up here and dealing with them.

This place is a life saver. Had a really bad experience at a nearby Pep Boys on Merrit Blvd. Called these guys up and they were able to squeeze me in for my state inspection for Uber. I was in and out within an hour. Definitely recommend.

After having my truck impounded at this location for 20 days, all of my personal effects are missing, to the tune of 500$ being stolen out of my truck from a secure location.When I did pick up my truck several bags of trash that were not mine were left in the bed of my truck.

Authorized the guy 40 dollars for gas, he took 40.40. Plus the guy sneezed and blew snot everywhere and didnt even clean it up. Disgusting, filthy, and thieves. I will run out of gas next time.
