I work as a dispatcher for a car dealership/parts delivery company and had a driver break down on me on 83 in the mid day. After playing phone tag with pretty much everyone else in the area, I found Universal. At first, we couldnt work things out due to how busy a time a day it was. After a while I received a call that their dispatcher had moved things around to be able to help me out, understanding the situation we were in. We were told an hour and half for the truck to arrive, and that was spot on. Driver and truck made it home safely in time for dinner, and the extra effort will not be forgotten. Definitely would recommend to anyone in need.

If I could give no stars I would worst place ever never experienced anything like that in my life everything missing out of the car even my back license plate was missing.... the car was ransacked and heaven help if your car was at the other lot you cant even find nobody to even get to the car get in the car or nothing else

Quick service very professional

Called to have my car towed and was told they would be arriving in an hour. I called twice after waiting an hour and was told that the driver was 10-15 minutes away and was driving slow because of the rain. An hour later, the tow driver still hadn’t arrived to my location. Horrible service and unorganized.

They don’t come when they say they are going to come then they don’t answer the phone causing you to have your car picked up by the police and pay extra seven hundred and fifty dollars. Don’t believe them.

My car was towed there after an accident. I was taken to the hospital and had no idea where my car was for days.Somehow close to a thousand dollars of tools and equipment were missing from my locked trunk. Not to mention my EZ Pass was taken and used.Very disreputable place.Management was unresponsive.

DO NOT use this company ! My car was towed by this company to a lot 410 Brunswick off Wilkens Ave. I went this morning to remove my tags and see if my belongings were salvageable *car caught fire* upon arrival I see my daughters hair bow, toy, and my sons sandal laying next to my car I look inside and my car has been ransacked! They took everything of value! Manager was respectful but no help, the lady was flat out rude and laughed about the situation along with another driver. They refused to call the owner. They refused to call the guy who towed my car. So my car catches fire and now the tow company steals all my belongings!!!

Called several and spoke with someone that told me they would out within 45 minutes to an hour after the hour went up I called again and then told me another 45 minutes and still never called or showed up so triple a is the way to go cause they do bad business

Charged 1500 for 5 literal minutes

Price was good but told me 30mins and had me sitting for 2 hours and never got I call back. When I did call they sent me straight to voice mail for trying to see if they were still coming or not. Very Unprofessional

Universal Towing is a Godsend!My car conked out at a fairly busy intersection downtown yesterday (N. Charles and E. Lafayette Ave). I called my insurance company and they said they would have someone come out (Darrells Towing and Recovery). That was around 4:30 pm. Around 5:00, I get a text from them (my insurance) saying that the ETA wouldnt be until 8:42! Called my insurance back after waiting an hour and a half, and they changed the ETA to 6:30. When Darrells STILL hadnt shown up at that time they changed the ETA again to 6:42 (and said that I must not have been able to see the time correctly on my screen. No, no. They were BEYOND late).So I said screw this, Googled Universal Towing and called them up. They said they would be able to be there in about 15-20 minutes. And in exactly 20 minutes, they were there to pick up my car.Go with Universal. Theyre the best.

They helped tow my Honda this morning to Danas Tire Service. These guys are honest, reliable, quick and professional. Id recommend Universal Towing to anybody!! Thanks again for coming to the rescue, with a fairly difficult job, with the right passenger side of my car sitting on a brake pad, they still somehow managed to lift it off the ground without damaging the vehicle. Worst company ever. They left my car in the middle of the street without letting me know w/ the key in the ignition. The boss “Malik” continued to lie on my name and his employees name! I had to give them one star just to warn you, but they truly deserve 0 starts! RUN AWAY NOW

When one spot gave me an estimate of $275 to tow my car 15 minutes, I knew I could find a better deal. Malik, the owner of Universal Towing, was entirely professional and fair in his cost for towing my car. In addition, he was a really nice, down to earth guy, which matters in any business. I hope I dont need to tow again anytime soon, but I will definitely use Universal Towing anytime I do.

Im so glad we found Universal Towing! When we realized that our AAA card had expired, we had to find someone ASAP to tow my car that wouldnt start. Universal was able to come out within an hour (and within 5 minutes of when they said they would get here). They were prompt and efficient and great to work with and the price was totally reasonable. Very professional! If you live in the Baltimore Area & need a tow this is the company to go with. Very reasonable with their pricing. I received quotes of $200-$300 more from every other company but not Universal! Theres so many positive things I can say about this company & their service, DONT GO ANYWHERE ELSE BUT UNIVERSAL!

I cant say enough about the professionalism, responsiveness and affordability of Universal Towing. I found myself stranded on the side of a remote stretch of highway about 15 miles outside of Downtown Baltimore in the middle of the night and Universal went above and beyond to find me, get me home and relieve me of a very stressful situation. Beyond the excellent customer service, the best part of all was that it didnt hurt my wallet. A 15 mile tow from the side of the highway to my front door at four in the morning in January was well worth the $100!

When no other company was dispatching on a Sunday, Jason showed up, picked up our car and drove an hour to get it and us home without a complaint. He arrived quickly and helped us make the best of a bad situation.

I had an overwhelmingly positive experience with Universal Towing. Everyone was very polite and helpful, and even gave useful advice about settling my accident. They are located in a dangerous part of town and should be commended for maintaining a good honest business despite this.

Called on Tuesday the guy was very friendly and gave me a eta of 1 hour before he came to tow my truck. One hour turns into 3 days later no one shows up to tow. This is unacceptable to lead the customer on hand never show. What type of business are you running

Dependable, fair and honest is all you can ask for when youre far from home. Universal made a bad situation easy for us to deal with. Having someone you can count on meant everything and i would highly recommend them.

Ive needed to call them multiple times, but always get a voice message but the inbox is full so I cant reach them. The only.number they provide does this every time, no matter what time ive tried to call them. No one else will tow in our complex because they are supposed to be who we call, so not being able to reach them has really put me in a bad spot multiple times. If youre going to have a voice message thats completely understandable, but not if its your only means of incoming calls and you dont clear the messages so new ones can be left.

My tractor trailer broke down in a dangerous place. No other companies would come get me because of the danger of traffic. The owner himself came out and got me off the interstate with traffic on both sides of him. He even tried to help me get the truck running. Nice guy. Went above and beyond what most heavy duty tow truck drivers would do. Thank you!

Universal Towing is an reliable company. They came out in towed my car from an incident scene before AAA got involved. Now my car is just sitting at the collision center waiting to be determined whether they are going to total the car or fix it; however, universal towing done loss the keys to my car which is prolonging the decision.

Our experience was horrible. A $200 tow turned into a $1300 mechanic bill. This driver was inexperienced and had a very difficult time getting our vehicle off the flatbed. Then we discovered that he seriously damaged the vehicle.#towsucks

Very busy but when they can come out they do well

I called for a tow at about 1:15pm, was told it would be an hour. Hour and half later called to see what the ETA would be, guy said “Let me call the driver and I’ll call you right back”, 20mins later driver calls and tells me to message him the pick up and drop off address, so I do and get no response back in confirmation. At this point it’s now been 2.5 hrs since I first made the call. It’s hot and I have no water, hadn’t eaten since 7am. I call another tow company, they said they’d arrive in 30mins, they showed up in 20mins. Messaged the first driver back that I no longer needed their services and almost immediately got a text back saying “Ok”. I had to call out of my 2nd job because of this. I lost money.Absolutely furious at the complete unprofessionalism of this company.

Very Rude and unprofessional. I asked about pulling a semi across the Lot and he cut me right off to finish what he wanted to say. He was so so rude I will never recommend him or this business again. He really gets no stars.

The worst towing experience ever. I ordered service and waited for 3h and nobody never showed up and never called me back. at the end lady just hanged up the phone on me. Very bad customer service, do not waste Your time with this unprofessional people.

My community has this company as the contracted tow. I called them and advised someone parked in my reserved parking spot. I waited for an hour and they didnt come. Was forced to park a block from my home. The next morning the vehicle was still in my spot. I called the company and they advised a tow driver came to the area and Didnt observe anything out of the ordinary and that Im the only person who has had an issue with cars parking in their spot. What kinda response is that. I pay for the spot, tow the car out.
