Lack of customer support and unprofessional behavior. Called them to get some info regarding towing a box truck, the person who answered did not want to take the order and hanged up the phone saying he needs more info regarding the situation. Then ask more appropriate questions then ....

RUDE! NON-PROFESSIONAL!! THE DISPATCHER THREATENED TO CANCEL MY TOW AT 4am!!!! Only because I asked what time was the tow truck ETA time frame. Lacks customer service. Never again.! Please avoid company by ALL MEANS.

This place is absolutely terrible. They refused to tow my car where it needed to go, then held it hostage trying to get me to take it to one of their affiliates instead of my dealership. DO NOT USE

My son needed a tow from Owings Mills to Infiniti in Timonium, and was told it would be $400 up front or they would not come. Whitelock was contacted by Infiniti roadside assistance, and Whitelock called my son. How is a 15 mile or so tow $400? Ive called several times but cant get anyone to pick up. I even left a message and never got a call back. This is a true blood sucking tactic and they or the individual driver need to be exposed. It was a warranty call so why would they try to charge $400 up front? I will suggest that Infiniti roadside removes them from the list! Im sorry, the tow was only 11 miles, not 15.

The starter in my vehicle quit working while parked in a 70 underground parking garage in Baltimore. After coordinating with the provider, Robert from Whitelock responded in a timely fashion with an appropriate tow truck to extricate my vehicle from the garage. Robert was also extremely knowledgeable about my type of vehicle and how best to tow it without doing any collateral damage to it. He was friendly and professional and a safe driver while we towed it for 39 miles on I-95.Not that Im in the market for towing companies, but if you ever need a safe reliable tow from a driver you can trust to do a good job, Robert is the guy. A respected professional who takes his job seriously.

Initial quote was $160 with 13miles. The tow guy said I went over 2extra miles and will charge me $180. I used my card he said that’s another $10. Alright, I paid total of $190 and I guess they like to charge $10 extra per mile? That’s pretty expensive and won’t use them again.

Just witnessed one of their drivers chuck a bag of garbage out of the tow truck window into our neighborhood streets @ 6:13pm on 1/10/2019 heading east towards 895 at the E Lombard St and S Kresson St intersection. There are plenty of tow companies to choose from out there so it will be easy for our friends and family to not use this company.

Edit: Robert (not the gentleman I spoke with) called me after I wrote this review and we had a productive conversation about the incident. I don’t wish anyone ill will, I just wanted this to be a learning experience on how to better assist customers. I appreciated that he took time out of his day to talk with me to better understand the situation. That was a very nice gesture and I hope that this company can learn and grow from this experience.Terrible customer service. The gentleman on the phone said I would need to get inside the tow truck when it arrived to show them where my car was. Then he berated me, mocked me, and laughed in my face and told me to “be a man and follow simple instructions” after I kindly told him that the garage where my car was located was so small that that wouldn’t be necessary. It is a small residential garage with only 2 stories, and you can see my car from the entrance. He got offended and started acting very immature, and said that I was “talking back” and not following his directions, when all I was trying to do was clarify how small the garage really was. There was no need for me to get inside the tow truck when my car was right near the entrance. That’s all I was trying to convey and he took it like I was being rude and disrespectful. I said, “I don’t appreciate being spoken to that way” and he laughed at me and hung up. He said that he wouldn’t service me because of “my attitude,” when really he was the one with the terrible attitude and extreme disrespect. I will never recommend this towing company. They lost out on $280 today because of this guy’s immaturity and lack of people skills. Unfortunately I don’t remember his name, but the second time I called back he answered, so I assume he is the manager. He said “I am the only one that can help you,” but I managed to find another towing company with actual people skills who were able to help me.

Real genuine guy, he looked out for me. Got up out of bed 4 am in the morning and took me 25 miles to my location. Highly recommend for anybody needing towing. Very professional

These guys are a cut above the rest. I have never been treated with such care and concern. I flew from Georgia to PA to pick up a car that broke down around Baltimore.Running on 2 hours of sleep, tired, frustrated, discouraged and hungry I called for a tow. I was met with a truck & some food within the hour to drag us to safety.All in all it was an absolutely fantastic experience and I wouldnt hesitate to recommend WhiteLock to anyone in the area. Thank you so much for everything guys & for being patient with me while I was having such a bad day! Car is now fixed and Im back on the road next day.A+++++++

Not sure why a company Baltimore city does not come to a location in Baltimore. More specifically this company is in west Baltimore. I have a location that’s sits literally near the east side west side divide and they don’t service the area 🙄
