I called for a next day, last minute appointment and they were so accommodating and were able to book schedule me with Nikki! I arrived about 10 mins before my appointment, filled out some paperwork work and was seen right away! The salon is cute, clean and very welcoming! Nikki was so nice and we were chatting the whole time like we’ve been doing this for years! I immediately booked my next appointment. I’ll be going back to Smooth Bar and telling my friends about it!

Great place. The staff are fantastic. Service is always excellent and I am highly satisfied. The atmosphere is calming and tranquil. They are very clean so if you are worried about germs dont . Highly recommend.

They were able to accommodate a last minute scheduling and I was pleasantly surprised by the cute shop I walked into with the warm welcome that followed! Valerie was excellent - she kept me distracted during my waxing with great conversation and we were finished in no time. All the techs are great! Val is efficient & makes the waxing experience as painless as possible. Diane does the same. As a man who gets all of downstairs taken care of, I highly recommend this place. Found them when I moved last year and theyre the best! Excellent value, more than worth it!

I honestly would rate them a zero if I could! I got an appointment today for a Brazilian which I was very excited for since being new to the area. I am a busy mom and had to wait for my husband to come home so I could make my appointment which is not close to my house. I was right down the road less than .3miles from the business when I get a call asking where I’m at. At that moment in time I was 8 minutes late which once again being new to the area and had to drive longer than a half hour to get there I was happy I found my way. While I said I was right there I was told that I was suppose to come early to sign a waiver and I would not be able to get my Brazilian but could get a bikini wax instead. I declined that service since it wasn’t what I wanted. Which I was told to reschedule then and when I said no they hung up the phone. Honestly I’m very disappointed on how they handled this situation. I have never been told to reschedule for being less than 10 minutes late. A lot of other places are understandable. Rude! Do not recommend for those who are new to the area!

Diane is who I see and every visit feels like girl chat with your favorite friend. She’s a perfectionist so you won’t go home with random hairs unless you want them there of course . Diane was amazing. First time doing a wax and I felt unbelievably comfortable outside of being naked. She kept conversation going. For my first time and reading how painful this was going to be, I guess Diane has the magic touch because this was easy espevially for someone with a low threshold for pain. Beautiful and clean. Easy parking right on the street. Everyone wore masks and hand sanitizer was everywhere! Contact less payment was preferred. My samsung pay wouldnt work so I was allowed to use my physical card also.

My experience overall was amazing! The location is very clean, the staff is very friendly, everything is set up so clean and fancy.Sara took great care of me. It was my first time getting a Brazilian, she was so funny and very attentive, she walked me through the process and explained everything to detail. It didn’t hurt as much as I thought it would and it took less than 30 minutes. Of course it’s not pain free but at the end it’s totally worth it! and yes, for me it’s worth the price, this place is amazing, definitely coming back! Gracias chicas!

I started going to Val when she worked at Charm City Skin. For my first ever wax, she put me at ease instantly. She does a great job, and her space is always very clean. I have been to other waxers since my first visit with her, one because she was closer to my house than Val, and another because I bought a Groupon on a whim, and Im always disappointed. She sets a very high bar that always brings me back because no one compares!

This is a wonderful business specializing in waxes and thats all they do. The owner, Valerie, is absolutely phenomenal and really makes a point to get to know her clients. She will keep you engaged the whole time during the wax so its over before you know it. The look and feel of this business is very comfortable. They offer you wine in the waiting area. Definitely the place I would send my friends for a wax.

I have been coming here for a little over a year. I love it here! The front desk lady (cant remember her name is sweet and always smiling). Diane is my waxer of choice. Shes amazing! Shes patient, makes you feel comfortable, and does a great, thorough job. Ive been to other big name waxing centers and the service was subpar, but here, you will definitely get the service you pay for. I love the online scheduling. Its super convenient to schedule or cancel appointments that way.

I got my eyebrows done for the first time ever with Diane. She was incredibly sweet and it was clear that she really knows what shes doing. My eyebrows look amazing so I definitely plan to go back. A friend of mine usually goes to Val and has had positive experiences with her so its impossible to go wrong here. I didnt catch the receptionists name but she was very polite and offered water to everyone who entered the waiting room while I was there.

You gotta love a place that has Frida Kahlo art and live plants. I consider these to be subtle signs of someone who is attentive. Valerie is personable and very attentive. She uses linen (see pic) instead of muslin and trendy waxing products. The wax bar is in a hip location of town. Do not expect to pull up to a parking lot at the bar (street parking). Also, slow down because its not easy to see from the street. I would recommend this spot to a friend.

Val is AMAZING! She is the only person I have gone to and refuse to go elsewhere! She uses a variety of wax which I think makes a pain free experience. I highly recommend booking with her especially if youre a newbie!

All I can say is Val is amazing. Ive had brazilians done by others, but shes one of the best. Shes so sweet and distracting during the process and shes quick as hell while still being super thorough. While its not 100% painless (no way getting around that and it helps to load up on ibuprofen, tylenol, and aleve before my appointments), its as good as it gets here. And on top of that, her pricing is very reasonable, and you even get points every appointment to add up to cash back over time. Would definitely recommend!!
