I have naturally bushy brows & it’s safe to say I have been getting them done for practically my whole life. I’ve moved from California & was searching for a good place to get mine shaped after growing them out for 2 months (which is not fun) & I went here. Honestly, for $60, it’s a big fat no. I’ve had better brow shaping from a nail salon than here. The shape was awful even tho I counseled her on what I wanted & then after there were many spots left that needed to be cleaned up. I didn’t get my brows filled afterward which is part of the price & I just would not recommend going here & paying an obscene amount for mediocre brows.I don’t usually leave reviews about anything but this made me so mad I had to.

I have been coming to Glow Spa since I moved to Austin 3 years ago & there isnt another place I trust more with my waxing & eyebrows/eyelashes. I drive from South Austin for services because I absolutely love this spa. Owner, Jessica, & her staff are all amazing, professional, & just kind, cool people. Ive had my eyebrows tweezed/tinted with Julie & they came out beautifully! Ive also had my eyelashes lifted/tinted & brows waxed/tinted with Piper & I loved it. I go to Jessica for my waxing, usually for Brazilians, underarms, & most recently my legs (my first time having a professional wax them) which was awesome! They looked & felt amazing! They still do, & that was 3 weeks ago! Highly recommend Glow Spa & Wax House!

I love my eyebrows so much. I got them micro bladed and they look so natural. Exactly what I wanted. I was pretty specific with how I wanted them to look and they came out beautiful. At first I thought the color was off, but once stepping into better light, the were the absolute perfect match. I would highly recommend.

Best in Austin. The spa is beautiful and everyone is really professional and pleasant to work with. Jessica is more up-to-date on industry innovations than anyone else Ive ever seen. Shes really good about explaining all of the treatment options and exactly what to expect before, during and after - no surprises and Im always happy with the results.

I would adore giving a 4-5 star review right now. Better yet, I would have loved for my experience at Glow to reflect such a rating as it seems to have with SO many others.The ambiance and product selection is on point! This earned the salon two stars.But I’m literally thinking to myself - what the heck just happened?!?My lashes hardly look tinted (this isnt my first rodeo), but the biggest heartbreak is that the provider barely spoke two words to me and certainly did not consult me on what I want my look to be. I’m all for someone being self assured at their craft, but she waxed my brows too thin and NOW THEY ARE IN A TRIANGLE SHAPE. I’ve spent 18 months growing them out, softening the arch.I made it clear a discussion needed to happen concerning my brows. I liked them a bit disheveled. The first thing I said when I laid on her table is “I have a lot to discuss about my brows” and only want the peach fuzz waxed - but she just plowed on through driving her own agenda of what she thought was best for my brows/look. She literally could not be bothered by my input.I mentioned at last glance that she waxed too much and her demeanor was basically like “cool, would you like a bottle of water?” You gotta be more present with your clients than this!!!Upon leaving the salon I sent an email about the experience. Apparently this place is just way to Groovy to admit and right a wrong (Queue: Im too sexy by Right Said Fred). This explains the providers demeanor because it must be the culture of the business as a whole. The reply I received offered no restitution or an apology and really could not have cared less that I wouldnt be returning. It was a feeble attempt by the owners to pretend to care. The response was, we will make sure this doesnt happen for future customers. Ok, great! I hope it doesnt, but that does nothing to subdue my awful experience. Maybe proper customer service is no longer chic.I’m new to Austin and totally bummed to say I won’t be retuning to Glow. And I completely regret tipping the provider! But thats on me.

I came for a facial and extractions from Piper, and she did and AMAZING job!!! Afterwards she gave me a skincare routine to help with my problem areas and my skin has been better than ever!! Out of all the products i’ve used the Face Reality line has worked best for me.

Everyone who works here is super sweet. I get my brows laminated here and they do such a great job!

Piper is an actual Angel with a soft touch and a sculptors eye. There was a time before I had my brows regularly tinted by her but I prefer not to dwell on that dark past. Highly recommend.

Commuted for about 40 mins out of the way just to arrive and they closed earlier than the posted time on Facebook, website and the building. Incredibly frustrating. Will go somewhere more reliable.

Very elegant and clean. I got an eyebrow tint for the first time ever and I am definitely going back for a touch up. Julie made me feel welcomed and at ease by hearing what I wanted. She explained every step she was doing and it truly helped to keep the anxiety low. I loved my results.

I can honestly say this is the best well ran business I’ve been too for services . It’s Beautiful and has great staff and customer service . The staff here is extremely talented and educated in what they do. I’ve had my brows shaped here several times as well as a selection of their facial services .

Living in ATX for over 10 yrs (plus having naturally weird eyebrows all my life) has given me tons of time to try different spots around town—Glow is the BEST! Booked the owner Jess for a quick brow wax in 2015 and have been a customer ever since. My favorite thing about Glow is that ALL of the team members do great quality work; if Jess is booked up I can easily get the same results from any available team member. They practice COVID precautions, have a clean/comfortable space, and a nicely stocked section for buying beauty products. One of my favorite spots 🔥

Had a Brazilian, underarms, and eyebrows, lip, chin. My face was smooth for a whole month at least. On the Brazilian didnt even think to check, but there was hairs that she missed all in a patch. Good wax. Then had full legs done and they used a different wax after she had told me the previous time that there was only 1 type that she used. Leg hairs were already growing in a week.

Okay, WOW! I have been going to another place that did enough, but I figured it was time I went somewhere nicer and that did more.My brows have never been given so much attention and IT SHOWS! Go here if you want an amazing facial! I got the advanced age defying facial from Natalie and it was so relaxing. The price was so worth it. I literally left glowing and my face is so soft and plump. Natalie made it the perfect, first facial, experience!

I received a facial from Piper and it was AMAZING!! She was professional and made great product recommendations for my skin type! My skin began to purge after about a week of using the new products and I freaked out but she thoroughly explained this process and now my skin is FLAWLESS! Highly recommend!!

My first time at Glow Spa & Wax House, and I absolutely loved it. Making my appointment, and when arriving for my appointment I was greeted with a warm welcome by the receptionist over the phone, and in person. Making a reservation was super easy. I will admit that I was a few minutes late for my first appointment, but Glow Spa was very understanding, as everything is starting to re-open, and almost everyone is back on the road now, bringing back that wonderful heavy traffic on the highway, that we all miss...haha. The place is like a little Shangri-La, and I just wanted to set up a tent, and camp out there...lol, yeah Im a dork, so what. Jessica was the esthetician who did my Manzilian, and I have to say that she is a wonderful spirit, with good energy, a lovely aura and a joy to converse with. Jessica made my experience enjoyable, as she was efficient, caring, and expeditious during the waxing process. We talked about the economy re-opening, our hobbies during the lockdown, and so on. This was by far the best experience that Ive had with waxing, as I was a bit worried, since I havent had a Manzilian done in over a year, and this was the first place I went to since moving to Austin last summer. Thank you Jessica for a wonderful, and comfortable experience. I look forward to being back again and again. I had a hot stone massage here with Tara. The whole experience was wonderful! She was able to make me feel so comfortable, welcome and relaxed while also being quiet and gentle enough to really settle into the massage. Totally recommend!

I always have the best experience there, very comfortable and welcoming. I had never had a Brazilian before and was very nervous, they made me comfortable and did an amazing job. They even did an emergency wax when I had a boat party to go to, with barely there hair they managed to do it and a fantastic job at that, I have never been so impressed and suggest this place to everyone I know.

I just had my first Ashiatsu massage. It was AMAZING! Jessica listened to my every need and swept in slowly and deeply pushed through my tension with her graceful feet. (Before I start, The esthetician who I saw and highlllllllly recommend, is Piper) Let this be known, that I pretty much never write reviews. This is probably my first one in a few years if that tells you anything. I pretty much have been battling acne for the entirety of my teenage and adult life (I’m 25 ✌🏻), so probably 12 years or so. Given that, I’ve tried about everything, over the counter treatments (both cheap and expensive), dermatologist regiments and eventually accutane which worked wonders for a year or so. But eventually my acne came back full force and eventually I was recommended to go to an esthetician as they look at it more holistically than your average dermatologist. So I thought I’d give it a try and decided to stop by this place.Piper, my esthetician, took me back to her room and tested my skin to understand my skins behavior a bit more. Keep in mind, this was a free consultation, so me being given such treatment and time was mind boggling to me. I was put on a regiment of products that would have been wayyyyyy cheaper than what I was about to buy from Sephora. Piper, again my amazing esthetician, gave me her insta so that I could ask her questions and follow along with her stories and posts. Now, almost 5 months later, I feel like I understand what triggers my acne a bit better and my skin is night and day different, to the point where I thoroughly look forward to my morning and night routines.

I found this spa on google. I just recently received my esthetics license and wanted to “secret shop” a different spa not located in my city . I received a microdermabrasion and oxy Facial from Piper . I love her knowledge, I loved the steamed towels and her touch .

I have been getting sugar hair removal services for years. I recently moved to Austin, and unhappy with my new esthetician, I decided to try something new. Boy am I glad I did!
