I have been going to Clean Slate for about 3ish years for waxes. I absolutely love Marilyn. She works quickly and keeps your mind off the pain (which gets better if you are consistent). Her front office lady is very sweet and a joy to speak to. I cant wait for the opening of the spa so I can get massages as well! Ive referred 2 coworkers who were first timers, and they also have had excellent experiences and are now return clients. I would recommend Clean Slate and Marilyn to anyone!

I have been here several times, starting when it first opened. It deserves its very high average rating: it is managed to a high professional standard, is clean, pleasant, and friendly, and you get good guidance but are stillable to do everything at your own pace. (Four stars is a high review for me, but I will upgrade it to five if the good experiences continue!) Despite the pandemic, the owner has been able to open a second location in Round Rock, and there has been no change in quality. She has a formula that works, so check it out

Marilyn and her team have the expertise, the soothing conversation, the ability to listen and hear what I need and some of the best prices in town. Clean Slate has an excellent menu of services and I have never been disappointed in the results.Over the years, I have been to many establishments that offer the same services but sadly the employee turnover is such that I never had the same esthetician on my second visit. Went last month for my first Brazilian wax and got the owner, Marilyn. It was fast, easy and nearly painless. She was so nice and professional and it wasnt awkward at all. I bought the package which is a great deal. They also have cute gifts and personal body care items.

I had a great experience here! Everyone was super friendly and supportive. I am definitely going back. Loved the staff and vibe of the company and everything was very sanitary. I did a full leg wax and it was very quick and easy and Marilyn was very thorough with walking me through every step and giving me after care instructions.

Great place, super kind ladies that work there. However, once I did return home, I noticed the job was not entirely well done. I have attached a picture for reference. Few hairs that weren’t waxed off but not a big deal at all. Other than that, my experience over there was great and I would definitely return!!

I made a follow up appointment from my previous service in July for today. I added the new appointment in my calendar at 1:30 vs 10:30 honest mistake. I went in today at 1:30 for what I thought my appointment time. I was told oh sorry you were a no show today and we have already charged your card on file for the service. I asked if I could be seen at 2:30 because there was availability then. Oh yes you can for another charge of $115.00. I asked front desk girl can you speak to the owner about the mistake. Went back in to see what the owner had decided. I was told sure for 50% of the payment on top of what was already charged to my card today. Owner would not speak to me personally she was mysteriously not there after being in a treatment 20 minutes prior. What happened to good customer service?? Millennials need to learn how to provide excellent customer service. She was rude and unprofessional on all counts of my interaction with her. Very disappointed in this company.

First of all I have NEVER written a negative review for any business! On my first visit I signed a contract for a lip and brow wax. I have had issues on almost every appointment since. One visit I asked if they they could do my chin instead of brows. The owner was not willing to substitute and said that is not what the contract said. She let me get the service I needed one time at no charge. On subsequent visits I have had extra services done and paid extra for them EVERY time which was fine! The last visit I paid a total of $60 ( including my contract service) which is the price of a full face waxing to have my chin and side of my face waxed! After checking my face at home I had several areas that were not addressed. I went back yesterday to have the other areas waxed. The owner was firm and not willing to help. She was not wanting to listen to my concerns and NEVER looked at my face to check to see what was missed. I think they over charge and nickel and dime you on all of their services. Melissa, the owner said that they did not miss anything and completed all services even though she did not look! In my opinion she has a lot to learn about business and pleasing her customers. I feel all she is concerned about is the money. I have two paid services left and I will not go back!

I am kind of disappointed in the wax I got. The tech was super sweet and very nice. She did my brows and my arms. My brows look amazing, if thats all I got done I would give this 12 stars. But my arms are a different matter. I could tell she was stressed for time and maybe had another client waiting, but when she done the first time she had only done one arm and 1/3 of the other.I let her know she had missed my hand, she quickly apologized and did that. Then she told me I could get up and she would see me at checkout and my whole upper arm wasnt done. I let her know and she came back and fixed it, but I felt like I was stressing her out. She quickly waxed that area and asked if I was good, I could tell that she needed to get to another person. I said I was ok. But when I got to my car I realized that there were still huge patches of my arm that werent done.Im not sure if she was having a bad day or over booked out because Im a plus size she didnt think it would take as long, but it was disappointing to say the least and now Im going to have to go fix these patches myself for the event in going to later this week.

This was my first time getting waxed. I was so nervous! I was lucky enough to get the owner, although Im sure all the technicians are wonderful. She was so professional, fast, and friendly and made me feel very comfortable. And the gal at the desk was so sweet. I will definitely be a return customer!! Excellent experience.

Absolutely obsessed,I went in for my Brazilian it’s been 1 1/2 (I had a baby) since its been a while naturally I was scared but Nicole made it fast, as painless as possible and non judge-mental. Will definitely be making the drive to see her. The setting is very clean and chic, and the receptionist was very professional and pleasant.

Best waxing, lash & facial experience! My eyebrows have never looked better - got them waxed, tinted and laminated - wow! I am so impressed with how they came out - so much fuller and shaped perfectly- it is now so much easier to get ready each day. My lashes are also transformed - got a lash tint and lift - again huge difference and so much faster to get ready each day - dark, full and curled lashes. LOVE. I wake up looking ready for the day! LOVE IT! Clean Slate and their staff are very clean and professional - truly facial artists. I also received a Restorative HydraFacial - again my results have me saying WOW - my skin is brighten and so much more hydrated - feel fresh and clean. It was amazing to see the before and after photos from just one facial + all the junk that came off my skin during the treatment. I am hooked - Ill be back for it all. Also, please note they take COVID very serious - extremely clean, masks & facial shields. I felt very comfortable getting my face worked on by them. The space is always clean and very well maintained. I have noticed a huge improvement in the tone and texture of my skin, which Ive been able to clearly see because photos of your progress are taken at the end of each session. The membership is a great option, if you want to maintain regular facials and as a bonus, you get a discount on additional products and services.

I got my first ever hydra facial with Marilyn and it was the best experience. Going in I was a little nervous because I had never gotten one before but I was so so happy with it! Marilyn informed me of everything I needed to know and answered every question. The hydra facial it self was amazing too! My skin was soooo refreshed and plump for about a whole month after! It’s been some months since I’ve gotten another one and I can still feel the benefits on my skin! I can wait until I’m able to go for another one and then another one and then another one!

LOVE this place. Its been my go-to place to get my brows done for a couple years now, but in the past 6 months or so Ive also been getting lash lifts here. My eyelashes look incredible with the lash lift -- it makes such a difference! Marilyn and her team are super nice and the quality of the services are top notch. Ive been meaning to write a review for the longest time but hadnt ever gotten around to it. Ive been going to Clean Slate for my eyebrows since last year and havent had any complaints. I always try sticking to the same technician, but as luck would have it, most of the ladies whove done a great job end up leaving. With that said, even when I do get a new technician they know what theyre doing and Im still happy with the end result.What really brought me to write this review though was my most recent experience with Marilyn for an eyelash lift. Ive had a lash lift a couple of times in the past and although I was always satisfied with my results, this was my best experience by far! The lift looks SO natural and really suits my eye shape. If youre a bit hesitant to try somewhere new like I was, dont be! Theres a reason they have great reviews and I cant wait to go back for my next lash lift

I had my first experience ever for a hydrafacial and brazilian waxing. The team was very pleasant and informative about skin care daily regime. The champagne helped and was a very nice touch.I am looking for to go back for the teeth whitening and another hydrafacial!

I came to get my eyebrows done first, and they did a fantastic job! They made sure I hadn’t used any retinol products within a few days to make sure they didn’t damage my skin, which was nice because anywhere else wouldn’t have done that! I came back a few weeks later for a hydro facial and LOVED it! I also love that they took the time to go over the products that best suit my skin, and weren’t pushy when it came to products. They answered all of my 8 million questions and we’re beyond accommodating! Ive been in a few times now to do my brows and re-up on my products and I am always pleased with the service!! Happy customer for sure :)

I went here today for a Brazilian and it was a great experience! A very clean and inviting salon with a super friendly and knowledgeable staff. I was a huge pain with scheduling but they were very accommodating. I really appreciated how welcome I felt here. I will definitely be going back!

I can not believe the way my eyebrows and lashes look after having Nicole work on them for the past 6 months. I have really light and thin brows and she has turned them around to where I am actually proud of them. My eye lashes are naturally light so I get her to dye monthly and lift (every 3/5) months so I have only had to wear mascara 10 times tops since January.The entire spa is professional and clean and I think they are worth every penny even though they offer great specials on products. You have to check them out!

I absolutely love this place! The last places I got waxes from really discouraged me from getting one again but now that Ive found Clean Slate, I literally get excited for each appointment. Marilyn did a great job! I was nervous as it was my first wax. She reassured me & made it as quick and painless as possible. Very friendly staff and would highly recommend!

I absolutely love the décor and services offered. I was very skeptical about getting a waxing but Marilyn was very convincing and confident about her work. She owned up to every word she spoke and my first time bikini wax was fast and not as painful as I thought. I would most definitely be returning and would highly recommend Clean slate waxing to everyone especially the newbies.
