When looking for a pool company, I did my due diligence and interviewed three companies. By far, Brent Nipper with California Pools was the most knowledgeable and impressive. He spent a lot of time with us, answered our questions and provided very specific details, from pointing out power lines to watch out for, a tree that needed to be removed to recommendations for size and placement.After our initial meeting, we visited the office where he presented us with a design plan that contained three unique, custom pool fountains that blew us away.I consider myself to be a very particular person who knows what she wants and I have high standards. When some of the design materials weren’t presented that matched my vision, they came up with alternatives that I loved.As with any large project, there were challenges along the way that were always handled with grace, fairness and expediency. Brent is truly the most accountable person I’ve worked with. He either always answered the phone or if I texted or emailed, he called me right away. I’m not sure if he ever eats lunch or takes a break. To top things off, we really enjoyed working with Brent. He’s a very nice guy with an impeccable work ethic and close to 20 years of experience in the pool business. What more could you want?

They say a picture is worth a thousand words! The attached photo shows the pool area immediately after construction and before landscaping. It demonstrates the successful blending of site plan, design elements, pool and patio construction, and surrounding masonry we obtained from California Pools. We LOVE our pool, spa, and fire pit! We were overall happy with the process, and our project manager did a great job in design, planning, implementation, communication and completion of the project.

We moved to Texas in 2014 and immediately planned a pool. Thru much research we decided to go with California Pools of Texas, and we couldnt have made a better choice. Everything about the experience from start to finish was better than expected, and we couldnt have been more pleased. Fast forward to 2020 - the year of all years, including the freeze we all experienced. Like most pool owners we suffered equipment damage. Finding a repair company was nearly impossible, and knowing it was the correct repair was of upmost importance. And though Cal pools is not in the repair business, Justin was available to me with the first call I made to advise me on moving forward, equipment advice, and any other questions that came up thru that ordeal. Most companies do the work and are never to be found, but Cal pools proved once again they are a cut above the rest. They are the ONLY pool builder I would ever recommend.

The guys at CP (Mike,Matt and Justin) are very knowledgeable, ready to answer any question- very patient with us first time pool people. I imagine we were very hands on and high maintenance with some of our questions, but they were never bothered and were very open to constant communication. The pool and decking are fantastic. We continue to get compliments- even from contractors and the latest- the inspector!Couldn’t be more pleased with the design, their contractors, and the workmanship.
