Im sitting outside waiting for the business to open. I watched the manager and 2 employees show up over ten minutes late. Im still sitting here waiting for the business to open almost 30 minutes after the stated hours only for Alec to come tell that the manager, Johnathan, said they did not have the oil filter for my vehicle. I would hope it wasnt an excuse to not change the oil on a police vehicle. I work nights and come here because it opens so early. Ive been a few times before and had I great experience, I even was bragging earlier today, I guess I spoke too soon. This absolutely unprofessional and ridiculous. Thank you to Shea at the Take 5 on FM 1825 for being great.

I was really impressed with Jay at Take 5 Oil Change! My car had been alerting me that it was time for an oil change for a few weeks, so when I saw Take 5 while I was out running errands, I drove up since its quick. I did have to wait for a few minutes, but Jay checked my oil and showed me that it was still super clean and I didnt need to get it changed yet. I will be back in December when it will actually need to be changed! Thank you for your honesty, Jay!

Too expensive. They did a fine job but I got hot sitting in my car during the oil change and I was surprised the cost ranged from $43 to $83… but they got the job done for me.

They were short handed and still did a quick professional job! They offered me water as I pulled up, explained everything I was receiving and what was offered. Great quality workers & great quality work

The person who changed my oil seemed to know what he was talking about. I asked for my wiper fluid to be refilled and it was noted on my receipt, but it was never filled. They changed my oil filter and checked an air filter inside. It took far longer than I expected and was pretty expensive, but it was cool to sit inside of my car while my oil was being changed. The man who helped me was incredibly friendly.

The guys are super professional and wish super fast service, they understand your budget. Gave them a coupon and because they didn’t have the kind of oil the coupon referred to they simply gave me a higher grade oil. Highly recommended. We’re customers for life.

Worst experience ever with Take 5.It took 56 minutes for my oil change, and then to get my skid plate zip-tied back together. It wasnt like this when I came in for service, it sure is now tho. I was informed by the employee there that it is standard procedure-to zip tie parts of your car back together. To top it all off, didnt get my tire pressure checked or my windshield washed, which doesnt really matter, I just noticed on the invoice it had been checked off as if done. My recommendation is to stay AWAY FROM TAKE 5. I WONT be returning myself

Called and they said they dont email or fax receipts. Next day called avdtalked to somebody competent who emailed me receipt.Oil change done well but took close to 20 minutes.

Absolutely The best experience Ive ever had getting my old changed. Their communication was awesome their work was fast and overall an enjoyable experience. I can just as easily change my own oil but after having the experience I had today I will gladly pay them to do it. I wish I could give a 100 stars so 5 will have to do

I have been only going to Take 5 for just about a year, but let me tell you this is a great place. Service is quick and very friendly. They offer a Veterans discount, but I’d still get my oil changed here if they didn’t. Crystal is one of the people who work at the Palmer location. All the employees love what they do and the customer service is outstanding! When I go in Crystal makes me feel like I am an old friend, she loves what see does and it shows by her enthusiasm, knowledge and kindness!

Quick and easy! Didn’t have to get out of the car and technician showed that the clean oil was in and full! Staff very knowledgeable and friendly!

I was going to go to the shop Ive gone to for several years for a vehicle inspection, but they had a wait of several hours. Since I didnt have that much time to wait, I decided to try Take 5. They had no wait, so I got right in. They were friendly and quick, and Im going to try them first next time I need an inspection done.

Showed up at 5:10 for an oil change. There were two bays and two cars per bay. A guy comes out and tells me that is the last four cars because they close at 6pm. I thought he was joking, but he was dead serious. I asked him if takes 25 min per oil change despite their name, Take 5, suggesting it is 5 min per oil change. His solution was to send me to a location that was 10 miles away, but was open until 7pm. Unbelievable!

Ive been a customer for a little while now and Ive always had a good experience. The staff are always nice, informative and thorough. Theyre typically busy but once theyre working on your car theyll be done quickly. They also offer a top off option which allows you to return in between oil changes for a free check and top off of oil if needed.

Went to get an oil change today. First, it look the 2 boys a long time to greet me. Then they took forever to just change the oil and oil filter if that really happened. I was getting a bit too hot inside the car, I opened my car door and stood between the car door and the car. I was told by the boy with the fake twist on his head that I need to get back in the vehicle. I explained to him that I felt light headed, then I will walk out the garage or go in the lobby if not he may have to call 911 cause I may pass out. He told me I dont care I cannot have you walking across my floor. And he told me you can turn on the vent or something. I will be sure to spread the news how unprofessional and incredibly rude the boys at the palmer location were. I also look at my receipt how they indicated that the window fluid level was ok, the windshield was clean and so forth. I took pictures, grease under the car oil and oil filter were replaced, windshield full of spots, the window fluid container is empty. None of that was checked, topped up, or not sure if they actually changed the filter. Worst experience at an oil change place.

It was mentioned that a staff of 8 is typical but they were short handed, down to 3 (including Frank the manager) and STILL did everything in a timely manner. I’ve been frustrated the last 3 times I’ve tried to get my oil changed here bc the wait was over 90min, however, I went this morning at 9:15am and was out by 9:30am. The service tech Zach was fantasticccc!!! He was thorough, attentive and very kind; a professional young man. Thanks!

I needed an oil change after turning 5,000 miles on my rental car, a 2021 Toyota RAV4. I showed up at 4pm and I had to drive out of town the same day. These gentlemen made it happen. After some back and forth to AutoZone, they got me on the road just in time. Zach, Jaylen, & JP went above and beyond, and I was so grateful for their perseverance and expertise!

It’s was quick and I didn’t even have to get out of my car. Just what I need because I had no time to sit and wait hours.

I went a few weeks ago. The guys are super friendly to chat with and always explain their services well. Now, even though I had a great chit chat with one of the guys, another guy was working with the oil and all below. Chit chat guy replaced my car air filter. Paid and all was good until I picked up speed on Parmer and could hear my splash shield/undercarriage cover dragging. I pull over to see a whole corner of the cover just hanging. Never had any issues with my undercarriage cover until after this oil change. I drive on this speed on Parmer normally and even 75mph on I-35N to get to work in the mornings. I definitely would hear it dragging if it was a problem before. You would think that they’d let me know if they noticed I was missing the bolts/clips that held it up. So the guy lost them, probably thought I’d get home without noticing it, and then it’d become a later problem. Well, I drove right back, let them know, and Zach the assistant manager apologized and ziptied it for me. I went to AAMCO on Burnet to get it properly fixed since it was a lost cause here. 3 stars because the guys, at least the couple I talked to, were great though. I’m sure I’m a one in a few hundred bad case, but I’m now wary of going to speedy oil changing places like this again.

This place is awesome! Zach and Jaylen were amazing! I did have to wait about 40 minutes but they told me the wait before even getting in line which made the decision to stay or leave easy so I stayed watched just the two of them run both bays it was amazing to watch! They even gave me a cold water while I waited (super nice of them) prices were reasonable 65 dollars for 5 qts synthetic oil I will definitely be back for all they’re services in the future! Big thanks to Zach and Jaylen again for all they’re help!!

Waited over an hour to get seen for an oil change and still no progress has been made as of writing this. A team member came up to my window and when I opened it, the strongest smell of cigarettes flooded my car.I like Take5 because of the Fast service and friendly staff but this experience had been one of the worst Ive been through with Take5. Really disappointed. Should have gone to the dealership for my service instead of here.

Polite, but inconsistent. Seems theres new faces every time I go in for an oil change. Im told things my vehicle needs done on the next visit, then when I arrive on that next visit, all of a sudden they tell me everything is fine? Well, which is it? I dont sit well with dishonesty and the continuous F word when working on my vehicle, especially when my toddler is with me, not cool!

CALLED TO GET A QUOTE ON TIME, WAS TOLD 30 MINUTES AT LONGEST. I ARRIVED 5 MINTUES AFTER MY CALL. WAS GREATED WITH A SMILE AND A FREE WATER. 5 MINS LATER OFFERED WATER AGAIN AND WAS TOLD THE WAIT TIME WAS 1:45 MIN. I OF COURSE EXPLAINED MY PHONE CALL JUST 10 MINUTES PRIOR TO ARRRIVING. THEY SAID THAT IS BECAUSE ITS A CALL CENTER. WELL NEEDLESS TO SAY THEY FAILED. LOVE THE OFFER OF WATER BUT THAT ISNT WHAT I CAME HERE FOR. WONT EVER BE USING THEIR SERVICES, I MEAN RIGHT?

In and out in like 10 minutes and felt good and thorough. They double checked the bolts and filter and showed me the oil, checked the tires. Great service from Manager Frank and Jaelyn

Basically if there is 2 cars infront of you, just turn around, employee will say it will be fifteen minutes till its your turn but that means an hour, happened twice to me. I liked the aspect of sitting in your car and getting your oil changed but I will probably learn oil change myself now as a professional would take this much time.

Very nice and friendly. My car was leaking oil and I couldn’t find where it was leaking from and the manager lady checked it out an up real fast and let me know about a job offer as well.

Wow! Never have I ever had such an enjoyable experience getting my oil changed! They had water and quick snacks while you wait and they did a fantastic job! They were careful around my car, constantly in communication with each other during the service and actually conversational with me as well! The best part was that Krystal (the manager) was actually out in the bay working as hard as the employees!! Definitely swing by and pay them a visit! You wont have to stay too long!

Good service. Its a bit strange when I called another store earlier and they say you can use the $10 coupon, but they wouldnt do it here. So if you want, make sure to vall and confirm that they accept the coupon. But service wise, they are nice and quick. Would recommend.

They are very shorthanded right at this time because of Covid I’ve been told they lost a few were their workers to the virus so the wait is quite long any time I’ve gone. this was my third trip and I finally waited about 30 minutes which was a short wait compared to my previous visits where I’ve had to wait up to an hour to be seenEveryone is very courteous and helpful. I had Cristal and Rebecca help me and they were both awesome they explained every little detail to me and made sure that I understood everything that they were doing step-by-step Rebecca especially every time she did something she would come and meet me at the window and tell me what she did or what she was about to do and why. Krystal was also very helpful and apologetic for the wait and you can tell she really knows Customer Service

Shaun is humorous, professional, and definitely knowledgeable! He gave me all the sales pitches and recommendations and throwing humor into the mix to keep me engaged even though I politely declined and requested a standard oil change. The entire team who did the change were quick with it and respectful throughout the entire experience! I’ve been coming to this location (Parmer Ln) so, here’s the deal. The last time I was here they didn’t have my oil filter, so the manager sent one of the employees to get one from a local auto zone, which awesome, I didn’t lose my place in line. Today, was the same dilemma. The employees were kind, but they told me that I had to go get my filter and return to have my oil changed. Not only that I have to get out of line and purchase my oil filter but I had to get back in line and wait. 5min turned out to be one hr.

I believe her name was Cristal? Possibly Crystal, but she was awesome! Got my oil changed in no time. I really couldnt believe how fast it was! Definitely will come back.

After getting great service last time, came back for my second visit. Was even better! John, Jose, Mario were super professional and fast! This guys are really nice guys too. Plus, recommended me on what to do with my breaks! Bonus!

Went for an oil change and I have to say it was the best experiences I had at a automotive place. The manager Crystal and her staff were beyond courteous and helpful! The professionalism they showed was something you don’t see most of now a days. Although the weather was gloomy they still managed to keep a smile on their faces. Needed an oil change desperately and wanted to try anything but a jiffy lube. Take 5 happen to be the closest to me while driving in the area. Not being familiar with them I decided to use their services. I was very impressed with all 3 of service employees who provided excellent detailed communication about the service of oils, to your warranty details of your purchase as well as the free services offered before warranty expires. Professionalism and High knowledge in the services provided will definitely have me going back for an oil change.

Went to work late so I could stop in and get my oil changed before the weekend when it is very busy. Justin and Frank, the manager, were very helpful and quick to get me in and out. They provided all the details of what was done and provided quality customer service. I will definitely be back.

Lots of employees walking around talking to each other, but was in the front of the line for ~20 minutes before being spoken to about what service we wanted.

I like these guys. 3rd time customer. Oil changes take longer than 5 minutes; more like 15 minutes per car in front of you. Service is pretty transparent. Prices are posted, coupons tend to be available. Ive compared their air filter prices with parts stores and found them to be fair. I assume windshield wipers are reasonable, too

Yall (yes Im from the south)... If I could give this place 10 stars I would! If youre looking for real people, real honesty and straight forwardness, and real service, this is the place to go! I had seen the Take5 on my normal driving rout I take on Mondays and Fridays but didnt think much until I was headed out to a different facility to change my oil. I had a gut feeling to stop here and I am so glad I did! They were quick, efficient, understanding, open, comminicative, and amazingly real people! They gave me options that were actually relative to my lifestyle ans car care, they were understanding, patient and professional when I had to tend yo my fussy toddler, I was offered water, I felt listened to, oh my gosh so much more. Stopping here helped to turn my week around in the best way which was so needed! Yes, their prices are more than your average walmart, but what you spend goes towards more than just the oil, it goes to the service, and providing jobs to these amazing people to be amazing and help you. As dramatic as it sounds, they really did help restore a bit of faith in humanity. As long as Im living in the area, I will continue to give my business here! Thank yall!

Outstanding service!!! Crystal & Jacob did an amazing job and were extremely professional and friendly! Service was quick and through. Jacob noticed our wiper blades and gave us a handy tip that we have to order them directly from the manufacturer (which solves a problem we’ve not been able to figure out for a year now!) When we pulled off my boyfriend said, “Wow I feel like we just left our friend’s garage!” We’re going back every single time! Definitely bringing our other car next week!

I was first in line when I got there and they service was fast reliable fairly friendly and they even kept track of the time and reminded each other on how much time had already passed I think theyre only time schedule to make sure that they get the customers out as quickly as possible which I definitely appreciate very much

Always honest. Always professional. Always friendly. Take 5 is my place of choice always for oil change or other services. They are always upfront about whether you actually need to get the oil change. And at times where I’ve had the slightest inconvenience, they have apologized and made up for it. (I have a newer model that sometimes asks for parts they don’t carry in large stock. They had to have someone bring the part in, which would take an hour. They had me come back an hour later and they installed the part for free).

I had an amazing experience with Crystal here. Would recommend this place to many others. She also complimented my middle name.

I never leave reviews because I hate the idea, but I’m compelled to because this place is magic. Quickest, friendliest, most comprehensive and detailed experience I’ve ever had at an establishment like this. Will absolutely return.

Friendly staff. Checked my air filters, both engine and cabin. I had no idea how dirty they were. Prices for filters are reasonable. I went to autozone to buy them, only to realize they were the same price and I had to install myself.

So I used this place because of the rating. I always put off my oil changes because I HATE when they try to up sell you and make you buy things you can’t afford. THEY DID NOT DO THIS! I kept waiting for it. I have severe social anxiety and mentally prepared for this..but nope. They were fast and friendly. So friendly. What shocked me was 2 women were working there. I have never seen women working at an oil change place. I’ve been driving 30 years. With the excellent service and now knowing a company supports women in a male dominated field. They will forever get my business. Thank you!

45 minutes to change the oil in one car? The guy in front of me has been waiting even longer. I can’t leave if I want to because I’m boxed in. I went to another location by my house and they can’t scan or do anything so I came here. The two working here are taking more than anything else and it makes me feel uncomfortable with them handling y vehicle. I’m going to leave and wait for my primary location to get back in order.

This woman run establish is on fire! Crystal was super nice, knowledgeable and professional. Fast, friendly service- I was in and out in less than 20mins.

First time customer. Went for an oil change and didn’t plan on going back - due to the fact that I live almost 17 mi away. This was the only place opened til 7 and they took great care of me. I’m giving it a 5/5 because, the gentlemen and lady working there gave me the best customer service. The guy was super helpful, very informative. He took time to actually explain what each (commonly missed) thing that most places will try to cheat you out of. 5/5 - will make the trip back over for my next oil change.

They were short staffed so it took forever. Which was not their fault. But it was the annoying for my first visit. Crystal was wonderful though! She was personable and professional. Im not going to say it wasnt a nice change of pace. I felt it was a little too expensive for my blood I mean, if do you need hear fluids Chad you tire pressure checked and an oil change this is much more convenient than your traditional. But if youre going for just an oil change I think Id go somewhere else. Thats just my opinion though

Do not come here. It takes at least 45 min to get served while staying in your car. Never be 5 to 10 min as advertised. Actually it takes more time + gas fee compared to regular oil change store as you are staying in the car. Do not fooled by their advertisement!

This place is scam I went there to get an oil chance, first they up sale me by asking to change a filter that recently change and the worst right after the finished change the oil my engine light came and few day later the AC stopped working in my Cadillac

Quick, you get to stay in your car through the process and they didnt pester me by upselling. I will use them for my next oil change.

Quick, polite and to the point. Didnt try to sell me an unnecessary brake job like other oil change places. LOVE that they do the change while Im in the truck and that they checked to see if I had a power steering leak instead of just sho ing me off on my way.
