This Brake Check location was great. This was my first time using them and I couldn’t be more pleased. My car was in pretty bad shape and I needed an extensive brake pad and rotor repair. They were thorough and kept me up to date and informed at each step along the process. They even helped me with a super smooth financing option which made the cost of repairs so much more manageable and less stressful. I’ll definitely visit them again for future car maintenance. Also, everyone I worked with at this location was so patient and understanding.

Staff was courteous, professional, knowledgable, and friendly. My only recommendation would be to place a visible marker maybe 50 to 100ft before turn off into business. It is super easy to miss off of frontage road.

Steven and his crew were very knowledgeable, professional and didnt try to sell me a out of other stuff I didnt need. They were the lowest rates I could find from the other local shops and their service was quick and easy from start to finish. Ill be coming back here in the future. Great shop here.

Professional attention given me with visual inspection of the problem, pointed out. Prompt and as quick as the repairs and going after the needed supplies, could be handled. I got there like 2 hours after opening so that was a plus. The drawback, but it was the day after Labor Day, so that may have been the reason for the unkept & unclean restroom. Dirty toilet & sink, down to the last sheet of toilet tissue with no more in sight, no paper towels or drying method, overflowing waste basket. Hopefully my braking system will function well, so far, no more squealing on reverse. I went by the good reviews and comments left.I enjoyed the quick timing.

I always use Brake check for my oil changes but today I went to a different one. Normally the cost is $40 but today I was horrified at the $80 total. The paper receipt has a bunch of stuff I’ve never seen, nor did I ask for it. She said the cost came from full synthetic but that has NEVER happened at my normal brake check. They changed the air filters after I said I was doing them myself since I went on a road trip. Now I have to worry about groceries this month. Thanks.

So Choon, Steve and Mehr teamed up to address a warranty issue and saw I had a caliper malfunction ... They went above and beyond and help me check out the entire vehicle and because of their good pricesI went ahead and had extra work done. They also helped with a exhaust issue and help me get a new clamp on there which is really not their area the day even touch. so it was questionable as to whether or not they should honor the warranty but since it was on the fence they went ahead and did it and gave me excellent service and realized I needed a better quality part and went ahead and took care of it. They address the problem right away and got me up on the lift in no time and had at least 2 to 3 people working on the vehicle at all times. My vehicle is extremely critical and must have it any downtime cost me a lot of money. I was happy to spend the additional money

Went here after taking my car to Take 5(oil change services company that messed up my car).Russell and Todd were quick to take my car in and get it checked out as soon as I got there. They diagnosed the car and recommend everything that would insure the car’s safety and gave me a really good price I couldn’t refuse. Both of these guys are awesome and are way better than the staff that was here before, definitely recommend this place for a diagnostic/oil change!!!

Steve really came through and saved the day. Was super impressed with the service, the quickness, and with Steves willingness to educate me on the problems that I was faced with my vehicle. The only reason I dont give this a 5 Star is because the manager, some kid who I was told later was very young, and inexperienced in dealing with customers, was very unprofessional with me when it came to a part that my vehicle had also needed but was missed on the first estimate. With very little understanding on how to educate me about this additional part, why it was broken, and why it needed to be replaced. Luckily, Steve was there to swoop in and put me to ease on the problem with the part, its necessity and was willing to work with me on the price for it being left out in the first estimate. Now that is love for you! I will always use Brake Check for the service, and to this place for Steve!

My daughter came here to get her brakes looked at a few days ago. She called me because she felt like she was being sold things she didn’t need. I drove to the store to pick her up and talk to guys about what they recommended for her car. As we are standing outside waiting for a manager I hear the guys talking about the way my daughter looks and about jacking off. The manager comes from the back of store from what it looks like was he was sitting in his jeep. He comes up to me and introduces himself as chun and smells like marijuana and is slurring his words. I immediately asked them to take my car out of the shop and went elsewhere. I only came here because of the good reviews and this was our first brake check experience. Sad to say I will not return. Does this company not drug test or hold their managers accountable? I would rate this store negative stars if I could for the total disrespect we experienced.

The guys at this spot were amazing in every way! I had a back tire brakes issue. Which it was such a pain since I didnt take care of for a long time. They were so patient and professional with the car and also kept the same price! They didnt want me to leave with bad brakes. Now the car is like new. Thank you guys for taking care of my Chevy!

Had my oil changed. While there I had them check my brakes and alignment. They performed the alignment and replaced front brakes with rotors after showing me what was causing problems. Afterward, my car is driving and handling much better. Only issue I had with their service was having drops of brake fluid on my door controls and steering wheel. That’s the only thing keeping m from giving a 5 star rating. Other than that, the service was fast, work performed was great, the personnel was as attentive and courteous.

Call this store to see if they could take care of an alignment and possible bad cv joints and even though they were under staff on a Sunday they didn’t turn me away. They looked at my 08 impala he told me what it was how much it would cost and the time it would take. They did everything that needed to be done, call me with updates. Great service is so rare to find these days and when you do you tend to appreciate. They have my business for life and will recommend to friends and family. The staff was awesome 100%

Brake Check was awesome! They did good work and made a couple of good recommendations that werent just a made up cash grab. The manager was friendly and very helpful. The job was done quicker than expected and I was given a discount that was unexpected. Highly recommended.

Came out tell let me know the damage. He worked out an incredible deal and was able to help me get everything I needed and stay in budget. These guys really went the extra mile. This has been the best experience I have had dealing with car maintenance. I spoke with Chase and he was super helpful with getting my car issues diagnosed. He clearly explained what the issues were and the expected cost of those repairs. I was able to get the repairs I initially needed taken care of and some important ones I didnt know were needed as well. I appreciate that he took the time to show me the issues with my vehicle and explain my options to me. He didnt try to sell me things I didnt need and was friendly and courteous and went above and beyond and he didnt have to. I would recommend going to see him at this location to get quality, honest service.

Jay and Steve helped me out today, very hardworking and busy guys but saw me up at the counter and made time for me and maintained an incredibly friendly attitude. They are genuinely in it for the customer, they really cared about getting me back on the road safely and not price gouging me for unnecessary services. I went here to fix the camber on my rear axle. They charged me for an alignment, whilst not fixing the toe in I was experiencing. Then, told me my car was missing camber bolts (it would be undriveable if they weren’t there). They tried to convince me to buy a kit from them then repay for another alignment to fix the issue I came in to address in the first place. Just took my car to the dealership I bought it from and had the issue fixed the first time. These people will try to hose you without actually doing the job they are charging you for. I hope they enjoyed my 75$ and lose 7,500$ of business as a result of this review

I went in fairly early around 10am on a Monday, for squeaky brakes. I went inside to a empty office and waited half an hour before I was greeted and attended by Todd. He was very pushy and excessive with his selling tactics instead of being upfront and honest about my issues. He proceeded to attempt and sell me on multiple different issues that looked completely fine to me. Of course they are the “professionals” but it doesn’t take a genius to figure out you still have 1,500 miles left on your oil. I was then given a price that starts at $800 for a simple pad, and rotor job which I believe was too high, adding unnecessary things like oil that I didn’t ask for, miscellaneous cleanings and tried to pitch a alignment. Total waste of time, Todd seemed to be under some type of influence. I assumed marijuana but who knows. Need more professionalism and upfront honesty from this location. They won’t be receiving any business from me and my close ones, a business that can’t be trusted. STAY AWAY AND PROTECT YOUR FAMILY AND POCKETS.

Got an oil change. Employees were friendly and the service was quick. Only issue is that they didn’t properly install my new air filter and I had to fix it after leaving.

Where do I even begin? When I first showed up a god of a man, Todd, greeted me with a sense of reassurance that my car would be alright. He was thorough in his questioning and, with a mind like what I can only equate to chess grandmaster Magnus Carlson, was analytical and calculated in his dissection of the problem. He went to work on my car and worked the optimal combination of grace and speed, each adjustment seemed to be both tender and sure. After getting both my brakes and my suspension fixed my car has been driving like how I imagine a young Doc Hudson was driving after winning his first Piston Cup. I would highly recommend to anyone needing work done on their car to seek out Todds help!

Took car in to Brake Check Austin on the morning of Christmas Eve with brake and suspension problems. Todd gave me excellent customer service and professional advice. It was a major repair job but they did an outstanding job. Highly recommend them!

This is a hard review to write, but sorely disappointed with our experience. Traveling from out of town the gentleman helping us was very nice and told us it would be 1 hour for a brake diagnostic and let us know what we needed. An hour and a half later I saw them just taking the tires off i asked what was going on and they guy said they were understaffed and literally just two of them in the whole shop. He said probably another hour, uggh. I said no, put the wheels on, this is going to take all day. I understand they are understaffed, but why take on more and more vehicles if you can’t even finish what you are working on. And it took an additional 30 minutes to put 3 tires back on.

When I came in, Todd greeted me and quickly got my car in bay for the inspection and gave me a brake down everything that needed improvement to fix the squeaking problem I had. They were short staffed but I was patient and Todd was reassuring that everything would be done within a timely manner and their abilities. Glad I came in and got the things fixed that I needed to get fixed!

Came into brake check for a free brake inspection because my brakes was grinding on the front passenger side. They did an awesome job. I was worried that it would cost me an arm and a leg. I took my vehicle in for a simple all around brake pad replacement and brake fluid flush and change. I was hearing no sounds, having no issues with the brakes. I had just taken the vehicle in for routine check up at dealership and was told the pads needed to be replaced soon and fluid needed to be flushed, no other issues with brakes. Took my vehicle to Brake Check because the prices sounded great and there were good reviews on Yelp. After getting a simple brake pad replacement, the same night I start to hear horrible grinding, the vehicle made no noise b4 brake pads changed. Took the vehicle back and now all of the sudden i need new rotars, new hardware, the works. I was told nothing of any problems with the rotars yesterday, or I would have had them taken care of. I would like to speak with your owner. Thanks

I love the fact that they are opened during the weekends. Its great if you have a busy schedule and only can get things done on the weekends. Their labor charges, are one of the cheapest that I have found. I will definitely be back because I dont have time during the week.

I was up-charged for the service I went in for but I urgently needed the service done so I went through with it. This business does not value their technicians from what I saw in the little time I was there. I went when temperatures were almost freezing and workers had to have all bay doors open, no care for the workers. Complaints will be made to OSHA.

2nd time I had my oil changed here. 2nd vehicle...both times I had to request the reset on the maintenance soon . 1st time I drove away and had to come back. If my maintenance rest is not done next time without my prompt I may not return. I should not spend $100 and have to tell them to get that done.

SCAM the mechanic tried to convince me that my battery was not working and tried to charge me for a replacement battery (100$). I jumped the car myself and it worked fine. All I went in for was a tire rotation. Just a heads up y’all may be getting SCAMMED.

I made an appointment to get my brakes done I knew Id have to wait a little bit my appointment was 11:30 it took them 4 hours to start working on my vehicle there was no update on what was going on they even finished a vehicle that came in an hour after me before they started on mine if you value your time do not come here

I called this location the previous day to make an appointment to come in the next day and with it being early of course I was late. However, that didn’t mean anything to Juan. He knew exactly who I was and what I was looking to get done on my car. Of course brakes and brake repairs are expensive but Juan helped me chose the best choices for my car and helped me through the whole process. I was brought back to see my car, Juan walked me through each side and made sure I could make an educated decision on my repairs. This is my second time coming to this location and I will definitely keep bringing my business back here!

I brought my car in for a brake check as I have heard squeaking and hoped just the brakes needed to be replaced because I cant afford to fix anything else. Thomas showed me what was wrong and explained in detail what was needed and it came out to cost more than I was able to spend. He helped me out tremendously by doing some maintenance on the calibers and provided brake washer fluids that were needed, while I paid for replacing the front brakes and two rotors.
