I took my Seiko SKX here hoping John (the watchmaker) could modify it for me. The job was to replace the dial and hands with an aftermarket set I’d purchased. This is something many attempt on their own, but understanding the complexity and tools required, I decided to rely on the professionals. This was a pretty big job, as John had to open the watch, remove the winding stem, remove the original dial/hands, align and place the new ones, and re-case the entire watch. All while not getting any dust inside. The final product was absolutely perfect, with the watch functioning exactly as it should, and every element lining up perfectly. John was able to do all of this in just over 24 hours. I’m extremely impressed and satisfied with his work. His colleague (a jeweler) was equally responsive, answering the phone and making sure I got in touch with John. All in all, both of these gentlemen run an excellent shop, and I will be using them exclusively for my watch/jewelry needs in Austin.

The owner was so nice. He fixed the band on my watch, a pin had broke and handed it back. When I asked for the bill he advised I could get him next time. When it is time for new watch I will be going here.

Went in with two watches, one needed a new battery/band adjustment and the other needed a watch band pin replaced. It was $20 for the battery replacement (very reasonable price) but John Wood did the band adjustment (moved the pin back a notch on the clasp) and pin replacement free of charge!! Thank you very much!!

Not somewhere Id recommend bringing a preowned time piece to sell. They dont seem to have knowledge of legitimate wholesale value or ability to function with market trends for higher end watches. Also their hours are very limited.

Brought a watch in to get a link removed and had it done in a few minutes. Store is clean and plenty of space to distance. Staff is friendly and helpful with answering questions too.

Had my Bulova Sea King in this shop. They replaced a clip which holds one of the control knobs in place. I got it back and the first time in the water it filled up and stopped working. I called and spoke to John who said this was a common problem with these types of watches to leak like a sieve when buttons are pushed underwater. So the problem was mine to deal with. This is a divers watch, made specifically for underwater use and functioning underwater. I should have known when I was only charged $20. Stay away from here!!! Wish there were negative stars to give!

I have dealt with both of the owners of this shop. One to do a watch repair and the other to purchase a pair of earrings for my wife. Both very professional, very knowledgeable and customer service was excellent. I have already referred them to family and will continue to recommend to friends and family.

Calvins directed me to these guys for a simple Tag battery replacement. Man oh man, are they fast. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes and at about 60% of what the mall charges. I was so pleased that Im going to have them service my other watch as well. Great local business!!

I was refereed to them by my step mom. I had a heart pendant necklace that 2 of the sapphire stones had fallen out and it was very worn and tarnished. I worked with Paul and he did such an amazing job!! He really worked with me and choosing new stones for my pendant. I was so pleased with how great he did that I even came back and had him make me some custom earrings to go with my heart pendant. Very great to work with!!!

Brought my wifes Rolex to the store and could not be happier with the service, quality of work, and attention to detail. Hours do tend to change, so i suggest calling the store and listening to the message before making a trip out of the way.

John is the only person I trust with my mothers watch. He always does a fantastic job and is very trustworthy. Love that he has his own place now!

Brought in a vintage 100% original watch for a crystal replacement. They broke the crystal getting it out then couldn’t find a replacement crystal. After 10 minutes online I found 2 companies that had replacement crystals. Took about 2 months and multiple phone calls to now have my watch with no crystal. Find another watch repair company.

Stellar service. A pin in my watch band had broken and he fixed it up and handed it back in less than a minutes.

Just when you think your rolex is done and you are about to lose it for a month sending it off to ROLEX to get it going again you find this shop that gives you a fair price and it is back working within the week and a year later another issue and you take it back and it is fixed for free because of the warranty and you get it back a few days later. this is a 30yr old presidential. these guys are LEGIT.

Their hours should be M-F since they seem to close on whim. Ive made special trips there early twice on different Saturdays and theyve been closed--disappointing.
