I moved to Austin about two months ago and I never dreamt Id find a gym as incredible as Heat. I called late one Sunday afternoon to ask about about coming in to try a class and the owner answered! He spent some time talking with me about the facility and what to expect, and answered all my questions. On my first day (which was free!) I was greeted by a friendly fellow at the front desk, given a tour, introduced to the instructor of that mornings class, and made to feel right at home. I have been struck by how incredible and immediate the sense of community is at Heat ever since! The workouts are killer, but made so that they can be done by any fitness level, which I love! The trainers and staff are all so friendly and motivating, too! I would struggle to say enough good things about them, and I sincerely look forward to seeing them every day! If you are someone who has been working out regularly forever, or if youre just thinking about getting back into the gym, do yourself a favor and check out Heat Bootcamp!! I cannot recommend it enough!

Before moving to Austin, I visited HEAT while visiting a friend down here. The immediate inclusion, community-centered culture was inviting and the workout was HARD! I loved it. So when I moved to Austin a little over a year later, I came back to HEAT that first day I was here. Again, amazing (and covid safe!) workouts. I loved it so much I wanted to make it my home gym and have *proudly* since joined the training team. Highly recommend!

Ive been a member of HEAT for many years and what I love most is how they care about their members/clients. They push you without yelling and make you want to do your best while youre there.More importantly, I respect them so much for how they have handled business throughout Covid. They have consistently put the health and safety of all those who come through their doors as the first priority. They have upheld safe protocols to protect everyone and do what they believe is in everyones best interest as a whole. I wish more businesses would operate from more of a place of care & concern than even profit. Proud to be part of such an amazing group of people and get an amazing workout!

I’ve been a member at several other gyms in my life, but this is the first one where I really truly felt a sense of community. Not only does it feel like the trainers are rooting for your success, but also the other members. Everyone is proud of you no matter where on your fitness journey you are or trying to get to. They make me excited to actually go to the gym and they don’t make me feel bad about myself on days where I just can’t give 100% (or any %). They just want to support you and put positivity into your life. I cannot recommend this place enough. Plus it’s very lgbt+ friendly without being “a gay gym”

There are two things you need to know about me: I hate commuting, and I hate working out. HEAT has single-handedly managed to override both of these lifelong prejudices. I currently live northeast of Mueller, yet I commute down south to HEAT Bootcamp almost every single day. Thats almost 20 miles round trip, usually hitting downtown traffic both ways (I know; I should move just for the location...).I also been able to find a rhythm, a community, and an actual love for the process of pushing my body and mind to do something that I dont want to do in the short term, in pursuit of something that will benefit me in the long term. Its taken me a solid decade to reach this point, and I credit HEAT for getting me here.Ive never found a gym that I love as much as HEAT, and I tell everyone I meet how much I love this place. (They pay attention because theyre surprised to hear _I_ like working out!) You also get one of the best deals in town here: unlimited classes really motivates you to get your moneys worth by coming as often as you can! If I could give six stars, I would.

Classes at Heat are often one of the highlights of my week! Cody and team show up everyday ready to encourage us, to push us further than we think we can go, and to provide an escape from the craziness of daily life. The entire team is next level - so fun, always a tough workout, modifications for those of us who can’t do a pull up yet (aka me) etc. I have absolutely gotten stronger since going to Heat, have see a change physically and have a community of people I look forward to seeing every week. Not to mention the way Heat opened its doors during the freeze in Austin in February - many people got water, took a shower, etc. at Heat. This is more than a gym (though you get all those benefits), it’s truly a community!

Joining HEAT is the best decision I’ve made in a long time. I was looking for a healthy + fun community to refresh my fitness routine after a long college cross country career, and I found that and SO much more at Heat. You won’t find a more caring, genuine, and ambitious staff than the one here—I feel supported and encouraged every time I show up for class. I’ve made incredible friends and found an unmatched community of people who are kind and ambitious. Not to mention the WORKOUTS—the workouts are the perfect combination of a$$-kicking and fun. Each instructor brings something unique to the table and you’ll come to look forward to each of their classes for a different reason. I’ve made progress in each area that I wanted to and I know it’s because of the consistency I’ve been able to establish, simply due to how much I love this place and the people that make it.I could not recommend Heat more; it exceeds everything you could want in a gym in every category.

I’ve never loved going to workout like I did before HEAT. Unlike other boot camps, this place is the most welcoming, warm, and inviting place for folks from all levels of fitness and backgrounds. This is not ever an easy workout, no matter how good a shape you think you’re in, and the trainers are 100% engaged in making sure every person has a great class. There’s a reason people are loyal to this place . It is the people who run it and the trainers that makes this the place the best part of your day . I never want to take a class anywhere else in town !

When I moved to Austin a few months ago, I tried dozens of gyms and workout classes. HEAT is far and away the best in Austin... for a few reasons.1. The coaches: every. single. coach. at HEAT is encouraging, high-energy, and wants you to do what is best for you and your body. There is a serious focus on form, rather than just lifting heavy weights, and the coaches will take the time to help you correct your form, even in the middle of a class. Need a modification to an exercise? No big deal - they are always offered.2. The atmosphere: when you go to HEAT, everyone in the class makes you feel welcome and like you are part of a larger community. I am the kind of person who is easily intimidated walking into a workout class for the fist time... not at HEAT. The people in my pod for my first workout were amazing, gave me tips about signing up for classes, and left me laughing throughout the class. This inclusivity has extended through every class Ive taken.Last but certainly not least.... 3. The workout: a combination of HIIT/Cardio/Strength Training that is different every time. You will leave feeling strong, confident, and SWEATY! Highly recommend taking advantage of their upper body/lower body focused workouts to give your body some time to rest in between sessions. If youre looking for a sign to book a workout at HEAT - this is it!

The best decision Ive ever made was adding Heat Bootcamp workouts to my life. I leave each class stronger and more accomplished than the last and I cant put in to words the positive impact attending Heat classes has made regarding my mental and emotional well-being. The staff is freaking amazing and the community is unparalleled....seriously, Heat is like my second family. Theyve also made safety a top priority, taking all necessary precautions, and beyond, to ensure they are aligning with COVID protocol. If I could give Heat six stars, I would.

I recently moved here and was hesitant to try heat due to lack of weight training but fell in love after my first workout. Workouts are for all skill levels! All the instructors are incredible and so interested in clients health, training and overall well being. The workouts are always different and never boring! Also very safe COVID protocols are a major plus. Cant say enough good things about heat and the heat fam.

The classes here are absolutely amazing and motivating. But this is more than just a gym. When COVID hit, the owner went above and beyond to serve the community. He leant out equipment, no strings attached, and together with the wonderful coaches recorded free classes until they could open again. When the community lost power during an ice storm, once again he rose to the occasion, opening the doors for people to take a hot shower, get water and food, and get supplies to people in need. Join for the fitness, stay for the Heat fam.

They are tailored to however hard you want to push yourself, so whether you’re a beginner or a pro, it’s up to you how are you wanna work. The staff is super fun and you get a sense of community by making friends and getting involved. They also love to help out local philanthropies, so that’s awesome. What more can I say, 5 stars, highly recommended for a life long membership or if you’re in town for the weekend :)

While quarantined in Seattle I was lucky enough to find HEAT Bootcamp. What a blessing you have all been to my time at home. I am not one to work out from home, but dire times have forced me to figure it out. Your workout videos and instructors have been challenging, uplifting and quite frankly a lifesaver. Thank you for sharing your gym with all of us during this time. My next visit to Austin, will certainly include some in person classes, I cannot wait!

I learned about Austin HEAT Bootcamp through a program at work, and while I havent had the pleasure of working out with them at their gym yet, theyve been a staple for quarantine workouts. All of the coaches are knowledgeable, supportive, genuine people with great senses of humor and theyve been a big part of providing a sense of normalcy during these weird times. Thank you for continuing to offer free workouts during the pandemic--I have no reason not to workout because the gym is literally at the foot of my bed, ready to greet me when I need a nudge to get up :D

Really great workout routines from the comfort of my own home! Coach Cody and this team of coaches have me sweating in new ways every day. They also offer modifications to each workout that allow you to challenge yourself to your own comfort level. I have a ruptured lower disk and my Dr recommended I strengthen my leg and back muscles. I have been working out to heat boot camp every other day for the last 4 weeks and my back pains and associated sciatic pain has been greatly reduced. I love these guys!! Iflived in Austin TX Id definitely be there in person but Im currently deployed to Itlay so I join the online classes for now. 😀🥰💪

Ive been attending HEAT Bootcamp classes a little over a year now. I initially started to change things up to bump up the motivation and ended up finding a family. The classes are demanding and enjoyable at the same time. You can tell every single trainer truly cares and wants to boost you up to meet your goals. I do personal training with Brendon and its the perfect mix of challenge and fun. He plans all workouts to meet your specific goals with encouragement along the way. HEAT offers everything from classes, specific clinics and personal training to group happy hours and events that are always a blast. 100% recommend this crew! Check them out! Youll be happy you did!

Ive been a HEAT member for over six years (at least) - joined when it was still by RunTex on Lady Bird Lake. I can honestly say that Ive enjoyed every workout Ive been to there. All of the trainers are smart, personable, and creative when it comes to design of the workout - literally no two workouts are ever the same. Lots of variety. The trainers are positive and encouraging while also pushing you to work your hardest. I look forward to going as much as I can each week. Im 45 years old and feel like Im in pretty good shape because of HEAT.

Took my first class at HEAT Bootcamp yesterday with Little Sarah. Dont let her tiny size and big smile fool you, she will tear that ass up! Her class was the perfect size for me, around 15 people. The environment is encouraging and supportive and consisted of all fitness types (even normies, like me!). Everyone works at their own levels of ability, but the type of exercises she had us doing made it impossible to not get an insane workout. The class was a 45 minute tabata style workout, so it was over fast and theres not an inch of me that isnt sore today. I will definitely be back for more!

I attended heat bootcamp 4 months shy of a year. I was overweight for my body. I am female was 160 pounds at 5’7” wearing a size 8. Unfortunately, I moved to San Antonio, but if they had a location here I would sign up in a heart beat. During the last few months after talking to coach Danny about my diet, I was able to implement it and lost 20 pounds in addition to going to bootcamp classes 3-4 times a week. I really enjoyed the coaches I went to frequently (Danny, Greg, Pete and Cody) they were great! The schedules were perfect for me. I also LOVED the music and enthusiasm from the coaches. They never made me feel inexperienced as I was with lifting weights, instead they stood by me and helped me. I miss this gym soooooo much!!

TL;DR: HEAT is an excellent team of trainers who serve up top quality interval-style strength and conditioning workouts for all skill levels.I joined HEAT at the start of August and havent looked back. After my usual routine of cardio/weights at Golds started to feel stale, I tried HEAT via a weeks pass of unlimited classes to see if I liked it.I loved it. I knew after the first session Id sign up for the full monte monthly unlimited, and its been the best health decision Ive made all year.I now go 3-5 times per week to several different classes: Butt/Legs/Core, Chest/Back/Arms, Full Body Conditioning, and Tabata with Dr. Maria, Sara, Coach Greg, Cody, and Rick.Every class is challenging and meant to accommodate most skill levels. For example, campers in this mornings Conditioning class ranged from 20-something guys who could bench press me to women in their 60s.Trainers encourage you to push yourself, and make whatever modifications you need to take it up or down a notch. This is not a CrossFit gym (thank God).HEAT also regularly hosts events like post-camp happy hours, weekend socials, etc if youre looking to make friends with fellow campers and trainers--which you should, because theyre awesome.
