Let me start by saying this is my first experience with personal training - AND hold on tight....this is a long review. I was very nervous at first, but my trainer, Natalie, has made it so fantastic! She is extremely thorough when explaining proper form, eating habits, and lifestyle changes that will help me accomplish my goals. She goes above and beyond, always. Shell text me to remind me to eat before our workouts, records me while doing a certain exercise to make sure I can see what Im doing right or what I need to modify, and is very flexible with her schedule. Shes also extremely compassionate and very in tune with how Im feeling that day. She can tell if Im struggling in a certain area and she needs to change up our routine a bit, on the fly or spends extra time to make sure I understand how to do an exercise the right way, without hurting myself.The gym as a whole is also great. Everyone is very professional, but theyre not afraid to be silly, too....I love this. Almost every time I come in for a session, Im greeted with a big hello from every trainer. Its pretty cool. I never feel ANY judgement. Only lots of love from the trainers that really want to help you improve.Now, the really good stuff - Im seeing results!! Of course the physical results are already stellar. After only almost 3 months, Im more toned, my muscles have grown at a measurable rate, and I dont feel like Im going to die during a workout :) The mental/lifestyle changes Ive seen are also amazing - Im happier, less stressed, less tired during the day, AND I dont drink alcohol during the week anymore. At all. This is huge.Anyway, Natalie is a dang saint and Im SO glad I started training with her. Its seriously worth every penny. Loooove her and this place!
I love the environment here and how it feels personal and never over crowded. All the trainers make an effort to say good morning or have a good weekend to anyone coming or going. This has been my first experience with formal training and Marina has been great. She knows when to push you but also knows when you look like you need some water or a breather. I would recommend core progression to anyone (at any skill level) who has a fitness goal in mind.
Love training here with Natalie! It’s an Awesome facility with great knowledgeable trainers. It’s a great investment for your health, and you’ll definitely see results. Work outs are specialized and tailored to your goals. Natalie has been helping me work on my back/posture issues and it’s been a rewarding experience so far! Definitely recommend training with her!
I ABSOLUTELY LOVE Core Progression!!! The atmosphere is so awesome! The trainers are friendly, fun to talk to, super knowledgeable and always chime in to keep you motivated! Marina is so FREAKING AMAZING! I have been training with her for about 4 months now and have seen major progress in every aspect! She ALWAYS finds different ways to challenge me and push my body to reach its full potential, even when it seems I’ve hit my limits, she motivates me to push farther and train harder! This place is awesome! The training programs are so tailored and the trainers are great. I’ve never worked with a personal trainer before but Marina has been wonderful! She’s been so willing to meet me where I’m at and is really encouraging during our sessions. I’ve loved my experience here so far. If you’re looking for an excellent personal trainer, definitely check this place out.
LOVE LOVE! I have had such a great experience with core progression especially with my trainer Marina! I have struggled finding a workout place that fits me post college athletics. Marina understands where I am at and where I want to be again and has amazing workouts that are personalized for me and push me to the max! HIGHLY RECOMMEND core progression to get you back to where you want to be! Everyone there is awesome but Marina is the best!!
This is an excellent place to train and to achieve your goals. Gym is very clean, high quality and having friendly staff, great trainers and provides low float one on one training sessions. Glad i choose this gym for personal training.When it comes to personal trainer Natalie, i am very grateful to have one like her. She is an excellent and friendly trainer who brings great energy and good vibe to session. She is very knowledgeable and attentive. She understands my physical strength and works on plan to achieve my goals. She keeps encouraging during workouts and also sends videos of session workouts to motivate. She educate you on each workout. I am sure i will achieve my goal under her training. I will definitely recommend Natalie as a personal trainer.
I had an incredible time here training with Renay. I am so ecstatic about my results from the past 6 months of training! Not only was Renay willing to work with my schedule, but he also possessed so much knowledge about how to build muscle and do workouts appropriately. He was a joy to be around and always motivated me to do my best! Workouts were challenging and each workout was unique! I can not say enough good things about this trainer and this company!
Ive been training with Marina now for about 3 months and I have enjoyed my sessions with her. She is great with communication, keeps me motivated and pushes me to train harder. The staff is always pleasant and fun to talk to. Their energy keeps you motivated. I would definitely recommend core progression if you are looking for a personal trainer.
I love working out with Marina! It’s amazing how much a trained professional can make all the difference. Marina starts everyday with “how are you today” and she really tailors the workout to be both challenging and accommodating to what my goals are but also whats going on in my life right now. I can’t wait to complete my benchmark workout to track my progres!
I worked with Marina starting last winter and she was incredible! She pushed me, encouraged me, and definitely kicked my butt in our workouts! She is so easy to get along with and friendly that our sessions flew by. Definitely would recommend Core Progression and Marina.
Marina from core progression was my trainer for the last 6 months! She helped teach me the basics of working out, the importance of diet, and got me in the best shape I have ever been in! I cannot wait to get to the gym in the future! Renae was also extremely helpful and friendly Everytime I came in along with the rest of the staff!

I was a little apprehensive joining because I’ve joined gyms before and got little to no results. However, with this place, I not only started seeing results, but I received great care regarding my routine, and eating habits. Marina is more than a trainer to me. Can’t say enough about how impressed I am by the trainers, the quality and customization of training for their clients, and the gym itself. I’ve been to lots of trainers and gyms in the past all over downtown Austin and northern Austin — this is one of the best experiences I’ve had yet.I tend to prefer a smaller, more private training experience with great energy and good people who genuinely care about their team and their clients. I see that here!! The trainers are skillful, take time to teach you, supportive, laser-focused on form, and will push you in the best way to reach your personal goals. There is a humanness and “Can-Do” attitude among all the trainers, which is especially evident. As though that’s not enough, just today... I was impressed with how patient and yet still motivating a trainer was with a client who was having a rough day — I’ve never seen a trainer invest so much of their heart and mind into a client’s success and that was moving to see.The gym experience gives me Dogpound vibes. ;) Also -- they keep it spotless and sanitized.Shout out to my trainer, Renay, who is incredible! I’m lucky to have found this place and can’t recommend it enough.

I am so grateful I found Core Progression Elite Personal Training! I could not be more impressed with the staff, trainers and gym itself. My experience thus far cannot begin to compare to my experience in various gyms over the last 20 yrs. They just simply dont compare!I am incredibly impressed with the general manager, Renay. Hes been amazing with his communication which has in turn helped me with my accountability. I had to reschedule last minute one day because my daughter was sick. He was very understanding and even asked how she was doing the next time we spoke. While Im very aware that I am just one of many members, I continuously get the personalized attention and tools I need to succeed. I feel like theyre on this journey with me to ensure my success.Ive been training with Sandy who has been an absolute blessing! Shes the perfect mix of what I see as the ideal trainer. Shes easy to talk to, genuine, encouraging and extremely passionate about helping her clients. At the same time, shes incredibly knowledgeable and will push you while educating you on proper form (to reduce risk of injury and maximize results). All while mixing workouts up to keep things fun so you will never be bored! I most definitely recommend coming in to try out a class, the first one is free so theres nothing to lose (but some lbs!).

6 weeks later.... I started Core Progression in an effort to help kick start my efforts of getting back into the gym. I worked with Theo 5x a week for 6 weeks. He tailored my works being considerate to my everyday aches and pains. During this journey I have lost 10lbs, 3% body fat and I’m increasingly stronger. Nice quiet gym, ideal for one on one or small group training sessions. Programs are more geared toward cross fit and interval style training. If you’re specifically looking for core strength, balance, and flexibility training, this is not the place.
This gym is awesome. The group classes are really fun, especially if you train with friends. The trainers are really knowledgeable and friendly. They really motivate you to push harder and challenge yourself on every workout. I highly recommend it.
I love this place!! The trainers are amazing and the workouts are customized to your own needs. You can feel and see results because the exercise is goal-oriented. Definitely a must-do every week.

Great facility with state of the art equipment. Trainers are also very friendly and inspirational and make sure to work with our goals and capabilities. They also make sure that keep up with the hygiene requirements for COVID.The only thing I wish they would change is the choice of music - sometimes the playlist is not appealing to majority.
